Private Cairo Highlights Tour (Pyramids, Grand Museum)

She picked my husband and me up from the airport after our separate flight and gave us an incredible, perfectly paced tour of the city's essential sights in less than three days. Mosheira is enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, and a genuinely interesting storyteller. Egyptian history is massive, but she managed the perfect balance: she kept us engaged and informed about the different dynasties without ever making us feel overwhelmed by dates or names. Our packed itinerary ran seamlessly: • Day 1: An educational and comprehensive evening tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum when it was much quieter than dueing the day. • Day 2: The Imhotep Museum, entering the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Tomb of Unas, and the Mastaba of Mereruka. We also visited a local carpet school, visited and had the chance to explor the Bent and Red Pyramids, and then finished with a relaxing sunset ride on a traditional boat on the Nile. • Day 3: A brilliant early-bird visit to the Giza Necropolis via the impressive new Great Gate. We explored the pyramids of Menkaure, Khafre, and Khufu, as well as the Sphinx and its temple ruins. We finished up our whistle stop tour at the Saladin Citadel, where we visited and learnt about the impressive Mosque of Muhammad Ali and the Al-Nasir Muhammad Mosques. When my leg started acting up after an pre existing injury, Mosheira was kind and accommodating, staying with me to keep me company while my husband went off explore the interior of various tombs. Throughout the entire trip, she coordinated with efficient, competent drivers. Despite Cairo's famously chaotic traffic, we always felt safe and secure. We cannot recommend Mosheira enough for a perfectly managed and deeply educational trip to Egypt!

We booked Moshy directly for four days in a trip to Alexandria at her recommendation. We started a rewarding early morning at Giza pyramids to be treated with having the whole site to ourselves. We spent time in Dasher and Saqqara and were treated to lovely traditional Egyptian lunches. Spending time a the bazaar and the numerous mosques was definitely a highlight to see beautiful places decorated in traditional richness. We learned so much and cannot wait to return to do it all again with Moshy.

Moshy was an absolute amazing tour guide! So knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful… she took her time to explain everything to us and took us to the most fascinating places.. also a great photographer and took some amazing pictures for us together.. everything from start to finish was fantastic and I would highly recommend her to my friends and anyone thinking of booking her tours. Also gave us very helpful tips for food places and where to go at night. She made sure we had fresh cold water after each visited area and always made sure we were good and enjoying our time. Had a full day private tour with Moshy so my daughter would be more comfortable with a female led tour. As it was a private Tour that meant we could decide on the order that we did the day. We saw the mosque first, had a little sail on the Nile, then did the pyramids nice and early before it was too hot. As we were leaving, around dinner, the large group tours arrived, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid. We visited the papyrus shop and perfume shop but both were a little expensive for me. Then we did the museum. Moshy was a font of knowledge throughout the day. She delivered the information with so much enthusiasm you’re hooked from the start. If I’m lucky enough in the future to come back to go to Luxor, I would definitely be a returning guest. Thanks for an amazing day

I have always dreamed of coming here since i was a child and We had the most amazing day with Moshy as our guide made everything i’ve ever wanted to see happen. She took us to the pyramids, arranged a camel ride for us, took us inside one of the tombs, and also took us to the Grand Egyptian Museum. The whole day was so well organised and stress-free, and she went above and beyond for us from start to finish. What really stood out was how incredibly knowledgeable she is. As an archaeologist, she was able to explain everything in so much detail and made every stop so interesting. The amount of information she has retained is honestly amazing, and she answered every question we had without ever making us feel silly. I also really appreciated how honest she was — if something was a theory rather than a proven fact, she made that clear, which made us trust her even more. She was also so kind and helpful throughout the day. We went on a camel ride and she paid the fee in dollars for us as we didn’t have any (we obviously had to give back) and she gave us warnings about potentially loosing your purse etc and keep your bag shut so you don’t which we were so grateful for. Moshy also gave us advice on the locals and we don’t have to feel pressured into buying things. after we visited the pyramids moshy took us to a perfume shop where we had the best experience and would never have gone in without her.She took photos for us as well and made sure we had a really special experience. I couldn’t recommend Moshy enough if you’re visiting Egypt and want someone knowledgeable, genuine, helpful and passionate, she is the perfect guide.

Are tour guide Moshi, was very nice to us durning are tour with her, she bought us some crips & an ice cream 🤩 (yum) she was very knowledgeable and went into all the details about all the pyramids, pharaohs, hyrogliphes, all the history behind it all and taught us all about all 42 dinastys and who ruled & who ran Egypt and she took us to museums, restaurants, pryamids, our hotel & and the airport. We did a 2 day tour of Cairo with Moshy, her knowledge and love for ancient egypt is so clear to see. She spends alot of care and time explaining things and as mentioned before her knowledge is VAST! What an absolutely unforgettable experience with Moshe today. From the moment we arrived in Cairo collected with driver Fadi we drove to old Cairo and New Cairo which started a great history understanding of Egyptian History. Then off to the Pyramids themselves, where her warmth, professionalism and incredible depth of knowledge shone through. Our day was far more than just a tour. Alongside exploring the breathtaking pyramids, Moshi took us to a fascinating traditional Egyptian shop where pictures and papyrus paper are still made using ancient methods, which was such a unique and special experience. We then visited an Egyptian perfume and herbal fragrance shop, full of incredible scents and history, before finishing with some authentic Egyptian food. Every part of the journey felt carefully thought through and culturally rich. The highlight of the day was our visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Moshi’s expertise was phenomenal. Her knowledge of Egyptian history, architecture and archaeology from around 3600 BC right through to present day was genuinely outstanding. She explained everything in such engaging detail and brought the entire history of Egypt to life. What made the experience even more special was the pride she clearly has in her culture and history. It came through in every story, every explanation and every conversation, making the whole day deeply meaningful and fascinating. Moshy was incredible! She has soooo much knowledge and creates a story throughout the whole tour in relation to each family member with you, we have 2 young kids (8 & 4) she had great patience with them, telling them stories, asking them questions and always ensuring she found a way to keep them entertained so we had an even better time! We used Moshy for an Egyptology tour guide for 2 days in Cairo. Her knowledge of Egypt, the pyramids, and the history was excellent. Whilst we were there we changed our plans, places and times, but she was always happy to accomdate these and very flexible on our changing agenda. We had a private tour with Moshy. She is studying for a PHD in Egyptology and her passion and knowledge was incredible! She took us through all of the Dynasty's throughout Egyptian history and we learnt so much! We went into Old Cairo first before the pyramids and sphinx. She gave us options throughout the day to maximise our time. She talked us through the Egyptian Grand Museum, explaining all of the artefacts thoroughly and kept us interested the whole time. She suggested a jewellers that carve your name into a cartouch necklace in hieroglyphics so I bought one with my name on and took us to a Papyrus and perfume shop. The day was so interesting and Moshy is an absolute joy! Highly recommended.

Of all the guides we had in Cairo Moshy was absolutely the best! She is so kind and explains Egyptian history in such a way it’s like she is telling a story instead of teaching you a class. She is very entertaining and at the same time quite an authority of the history of the Egyptian Pharoahs as well as current Egyptian history. we booked this tour in advance and it really lived up to expectations. After almost two weeks in the country this was by far our best guide experience. We chose our own itinerary and Moshy was funny, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable for the entire day. I got a high recommendation for the Egyptologist Moshy from another person from India - So I got in touch with her to get her help to visit Giza and GEM. She was prompt in her response and suggested to also visit Dashour (because that's where all this began)... She arrived to pick me up on time and it was easy to communicate with her throughout. I had a great time exploring Dashour, Giza and finally GEM - she is ever-smiling + a bundle of energy and knowledge. I felt very safe and it was very interesting to learn so much about Egyptian history, especially heliography. Food and drink provided for journey to Alexandria. A comfortable journey and a delay of two hour due to issues closing the highway - possibly fog related- was filled by Moshy giving an excellent and informative overview of Egyptian and Alexandrian history.
