I wanted to give an honest review based on both the positive and negative parts of our experience. First, the airport pickup when we arrived went very smoothly. Our driver, Mohamed, was extremely professional, patient, and understanding, especially since our luggage was delayed. Driving in Cairo traffic can be very intense, but he drove carefully and made us feel safe throughout the ride. We truly appreciated his professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, the issue came with our hotel pickup for our return flight to the airport. I had already provided the company with our flight information, which departed at 4am. When I emailed to confirm the pickup, they initially scheduled the driver for 3:30am, which was clearly not enough time to reach the airport, check luggage, and go through security. After I explained that pickup should be around 1am because airport travel and check-in can take quite a while, they finally confirmed the earlier pickup time. However, the driver never showed up at 1am, and there was no communication through Email or WhatsApp. By 1:05am, I had no choice but to order an Uber to avoid missing our flight. The Rimo driver finally contacted me around 1:35 AM saying he was on the way and would arrive around 1:50am, which was far too late for an international flight. At that point, I was already almost at the airport. I do not blame the driver personally, as this seems more like a scheduling and management issue. However, the company urgently needs to improve its airport transfer coordination and communication processes, especially for international travelers with early-morning flights.

Our driver Mohammed Rady had to wait over an hour, due to a delayed flight. It was no problem and whilst driving us to the Waldorf he explained facts and how things work as if he was an experienced tourguide.

We arranged an airport pickup from Cairo International Airport for our family of five with luggage. Initially, we couldn’t locate the driver, having followed the instructions to meet outside the airport and contacted the helpline, which unfortunately wasn’t very helpful at that moment, (rang and then was disconnected). After about 10 minutes, we did spot our driver, Mohammed Al-Rudaini, and were soon on our way to our hotel in Giza. The transfer itself went smoothly, and Mohammed drove us safely and without any issues. He was also very helpful in assisting us with arranging further transport through Rimo Tours, including visits to the Saqqara Step Pyramid, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and our transfer to our next hotel in Downtown Cairo the following day.

The man barely spoke English. Talked the entire drive about my age, am I married, etc and proceeded to drop me off at the wrong hotel even though he had the correct one on my booking. I had to pay another $10 USD for a cab to take me to the correct hotel.
