Amazing tour! We were on the 6 day version. It was definitely a 5☆ experience all the way around. Nice Tours responded very quickly to some minor issues and updated day on itinerary. The guides used were awesome! Mustafa and Sayed for the Giza pyramids and Memphis, Rames in Luxor 2 days, and Ibrahim in Aswan and Abu Simbel. These guys are top notch! It was a pleasure letting them give us more than the history books. We definitely recommend Nice Tours 100% . 5☆ really isn't enough.

This was an amazing bargain! We had a wonderful time and are grateful to all of our guides. Best value for the money!
Our tour felt very rushed. I didn’t like being taken to Bazzar and forced to buy things. Our tour guide is lovely but difficult to understand.
Jamica is marvelous drive. always open the door for me and come on time. Drive safe every moment. I highly recommend his drive.
Sheriff was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He ensured we were bothered by hawkers and gave a good advice on what and what not to participate in. Sheriff understood we were interested in Egyptian history and took us to see historic sites at Giza no other tourists visited,.
Faisal Ashish Roshini good services by them
Mary you have been a wonderful guide - very kind and knowledgeable. I loved how you explained the hieroglyphics to tell the goddesses apart and also how to read them. It was very fun to explore with you today 😁 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
My visit to Alexandria was one of the most enriching experiences of my trip, and I owe a huge part of that to Eslam. He is much more than just a guide; he is a true expert who conveys the city's history with contagious passion. What impressed me the most was his profound historical knowledge. He doesn't just recite dates and facts; Eslam connects events in a way that allows you to truly visualize the grandeur of ancient Alexandria. It is clear that he has an exceptional command of his subjects, from the Ptolemaic era to more modern history. I also want to highlight his dedication and patience. Eslam has a genuine commitment to ensuring that every tourist correctly understands his explanations. He takes the time to answer every question thoroughly and uses clear, engaging language, always adapting to the pace of the group. Thanks to his approach, the monuments and stories took on a much deeper meaning. If you are looking for someone to help you truly understand the soul of this city, Eslam is the person to go to. Highly recommended!
I had an amazing time with our tourguide Hesham, he was very kind and informed us about the history of egypt in an interesting way. I would heavily recommend choosing hesham.
Our guide Jasmine was very knowledgeable and kind. We spent good time with her today. The citadel was fascinating and the old cairo. I highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks Jasmine
I don't recommend this company to anyone they are running an organised crime I had a terrible experience ended in police station, they scammed me and my family a rubbish hotels , guides don't speak English broken old cars , then I lost 2000 $ at one of the cars they provide , 😢 we went to the police station and after 10 hours investigation they found my money and it was rubbed by the driver , they asked him why he did that he says this is how the work in this company because they never pay the salary for them and he wants to feed his family . I'm really shocked 😲 don't you ever book with Nice tours.
we had a really nice tour of Luxor. the tour guide Bob was super knowledgeable and did a really good job
Good selection of Egyptian sites visited. Be prepared for lots of walking, very early starts (4 am) and mad driving (drivers going too fast whilst on phones). The visits were very interesting and some of the tour guides were good, others not (one wanted money saying the trip hadn't been paid for (untrue) - as it was our first day on the trip, we didn't know any different so paid, which I now really regret as was scammed by $50). Some tour guides spent a lot of time on their phones rather than guiding ! Hotels stayed at were adequate. The one in Giza looked over the pyramids, but don't expect luxury. Nile cruise was good, albeit don't think we got a deluxe ship we paid extra for. Biggest negative, which caused a lot of unnecessary worry, was the lack of communication from the tour provider (Nice). Sometimes details of the tour came in at the early hours of the morning (one time it was 1.30 am for a 4am start). One day, we didn't get any communication at all about the trip so just had to get up early and wait, hoping someone showed up. If you sent the provider a message, it could be hours before a reply, if at all. If the communication was better, this could be a wonderful trip. Trip very good, communication poor, hence middle rating.
Mohammed Wagih. Was a great tour guide. He was very informative knowledgeable. We had a great time.
This is not just a bad review. I am writing this to prevent other travelers from experiencing the same. Nice Tours is a fraudulently operated company. Everything I am about to write is fact, and I have evidence including photos, WhatsApp conversation history, and receipts. [FALSE ADVERTISING / FRAUD] I booked a tour advertised as a “5-star Nile cruise” on GetYourGuide, with photos of a luxurious large cruise ship displayed on the listing. What was actually provided was a small private boat that bore absolutely no resemblance to those photos. No pool, no bathtub, small and dark rooms, and a vessel that was tiny in comparison. This was not an “upgrade” or an “alternative option” — it was outright fraud. I was handed something that was in no way worth what I paid. To make matters worse, I was given zero notice before boarding. No matter how many times I checked via WhatsApp, the vessel change was never mentioned, and I only realized something was wrong when I arrived at the dock. Had I known in advance, I would have cancelled immediately. I am convinced this was a deliberate concealment of information. [APPALLING FACILITIES AND HYGIENE] The facilities on board were nothing like what was advertised. No pool, no bathtub, extremely cramped rooms — this was not a 5-star experience by any stretch of the imagination; it was below 1-star. What made it even more serious was the hygiene situation: I was bitten by mosquitoes every single night. Given the risk of mosquito-borne diseases in tropical climates, this is not merely an inconvenience — it is a genuine health hazard. The audacity to market a vessel with zero hygiene management as a “luxury experience” is beyond belief. Furthermore, myself (Japanese) and a group of Chinese passengers were assigned noticeably inferior cabins compared to the other guests. When compared to the rooms given to Western passengers on the same tour, the difference in facilities, size, and condition was stark. This was not a coincidence — it was blatant discrimination against Asian guests. Treating passengers differently based on nationality, despite paying the same price, is absolutely unacceptable. [LIFE-THREATENING SAFETY NEGLIGENCE — ABU SIMBEL] On the return journey from Abu Simbel, the air conditioning on the bus was completely broken. We were in the Egyptian desert, with temperatures exceeding 40°C. We were forced to travel for hours in a bus with no air conditioning under scorching heat. I nearly suffered heat stroke and felt my consciousness fading. This was a life-threatening situation. Do you know what Nice Tours’ response was? They handed out one bottle of water. No apology, no alternative arrangements, no medical support whatsoever. This is a company that prioritizes cost over the lives of its passengers. If a passenger had actually collapsed from heat stroke, I have no doubt they would have responded the same way. Their safety management has completely collapsed. [FLIGHTS, HOTELS, SCHEDULES — ALL SHAMBOLIC] My arrival in Cairo was scheduled for Thursday evening, but was changed to early Friday morning without proper notice, causing me to lose an entire evening in Cairo. On day one, there was complete chaos with the airport driver pickup, causing unnecessary stress from the very first moment of the trip. A hotel change had also not been communicated to the guide, resulting in pointless travel and wasted time. Daily schedules were not provided until the night before each day, meaning I had no idea what was happening the following day throughout the entire trip. Providing travelers with basic information in advance is a bare minimum obligation. On top of this, I personally booked and paid for my own hotel on Sunday night, yet Nice Tours has boldly and falsely claimed that “all accommodations were arranged by them.” This is a deliberate lie intended to justify potential double billing. [FAILURE TO DELIVER KHAN EL-KHALILI VISIT] The visit to Khan el-Khalili — one of Cairo’s most famous attractions, clearly stated in the itinerary — was never delivered. Instead, I was taken to nothing but overpriced tourist trap shops. Taking guests somewhere completely different from what was promised is a breach of contract, plain and simple. [DISGRACEFUL CONDUCT DURING REFUND NEGOTIATIONS] When I reported the issues and requested a refund, Nice Tours not only refused to take responsibility but responded with a series of false claims and attempts to shift the blame. Statements such as “the private cruise is more expensive so there’s no problem,” “we added a free extra night,” “all tours were provided,” and “all accommodations were arranged by us” were all factually incorrect. My messages were ignored, the issues were deflected, and not a single word of apology was offered. In the end, GetYourGuide had to intervene and issue a partial refund on behalf of Nice Tours. While GetYourGuide’s response was sincere and professional, the fact that a company like this continues to be listed on their platform is a problem in itself. [CONCLUSION] Visiting Egypt had been a lifelong dream. Thanks to Nice Tours, it became the worst travel experience of my life. Fraudulent advertising, appalling facilities, life-threatening safety negligence, blatant discrimination, false claims, and complete deflection of responsibility — none of this is the conduct of a legitimate travel company. Looking at the low-rated reviews on TripAdvisor, there are travelers from around the world reporting the same experiences. This company appears to be operating in a systematically fraudulent manner. Do not be fooled by their social media follower count or surface-level ratings. If you are planning a trip to Egypt, avoid Nice Tours at all costs. I sincerely hope this post reaches as many people as possible, because no one deserves to go through what I experienced.
Our tour guide, Ahmed Zanen, was one of our favorites during our week in Egypt. He was confident, well-prepared, and deeply passionate about the Temple of Edfu, with a long-standing family connection to the temple site. Additionally, he was engaging, and funny, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable. He also took great photos and ensured that every member of the group felt included.
Today we are back home after some travelling! Wished to say that we have a great and safe ride to the airport by Mohammed. He is a very good driver and knows how to put safety first in driving. Great service. Thanks
I booked the tour four months in advance for about 900USD but it was suddenly canceled a week before. This was extremely frustrating as I had already booked flights and other tours. The same tour was still listed for the same dates, so I booked it, but it cost about 1550USD. It's a scam, luring you in with a low price, then canceling at the last minute, and then getting you to rebook at a higher price when there are no alternative tours available. I inquired about this, but they didn't take any action. I definitely don't recommend this service as you could end up experiencing the same thing again. Be prepared to pay a high price.
The tour was good for the price you pay. It was difficult in general to get a hold of Nice Tours. Getting information from them was a complete hassle. Contacting them through Viator, they never responded back. Texting them on WhatsApp I would get delayed responses at least. When I asked them about hotel bookings (I had booked this tour months in advance), they refused to provide it until late in the afternoon the day before the tour started. There was a huge miscommunication on our tour of Edfu temple and our tour guide left with another group instead of us. Nice Tours could not be reached to resolve this. We were also sent on many group tours when the description clearly said this would be a private tour. There were several instances when we would not have itineraries and pick up time and info of the next day activities. Through all this communication with Nice Tours was a hassle. On the last day of the tour our driver took us to a lunch spot (not included in the tour) and before driving us to the airport demanded we pay him extra for the wait time or else he leaves us right there. We contacted Nice Tours and again they were unreachable. We paid the driver and heard back from Nice tours much later. Nice Tours agreed to compensate us for this mishap and promised a refund of the amount paid. So at least that was well handled.
Our tour with Mena Oweda in Luxor was great, visiting the most important sites in a very comfortable new model SUV and with excellent knowledge of Egyptian History. Totally recommend!
Our tour guide Naelah is so kind and knowledgeable. Also perfect time management! We had a great time because of her. Thank you so much!
I went to Alexandria with Nice Tours. The guide Nhad is super kind. So is the driver very responsible and professional and friendly. I had a great time.
Good day to tour the Giza plateau. Had a lot of fun learning about the pyramids and Doha was a great guide. I would recommend again.
DO NOT BOOK with Nice Tours!! Nice Tours' service is DISGUSTING. Absolutely UNETHICAL and UNPROFESSIONAL. We paid $8,558 for a fully bundled 9-day Egypt tour that included a Nile River cruise, internal accommodation across multiple cities, transport, and key experiences such as a hot air balloon, and it got CANCELLED LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE TO EGYPT, despite booking 3 MONTHS PRIOR! We DID NOT RECEIVE an instant refund due to a poor excuse of "refund policies", and the only solution they gave us to compensate for such a HUGE INCONVENIENCE was giving us a MORE EXPENSIVE tour that DIDN'T include half of what we originally had. We have been BURDENED with being expected to reorganise a complex, multi-city trip the day before departure - ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING!!! What makes this situation particularly UNACCEPTABLE is how it was handled. Viator and Nice Tours showed NO URGENCY, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, AND NO EFFORT to resolve the situation. When we did receive a poor excuse for "help", the operators were LAZY and it was only because of MY OWN MUM that we got ANYTHING FIXED OR ACHIEVED. We were told we “shouldn’t be concerned,” despite the fact that a fully paid international tour had COLLAPSED less than 24 hours before departure. They expected us to PAY for a MORE EXPENSIVE tour BEFORE REFUNDING US to compensate for THEIR MISTAKE. ZERO RESPONSIBILITY WAS TAKEN. There was NO PROACTIVE ATTEMPT WAS MADE to repair the damage caused. To make matters WORSE, we are now expected to WAIT OVER A WEEK for a refund while we are ALREADY OVERSEAS, meaning we must cover SIGNIFICANT EXPENSES out of pocket as a DIRECT RESULT OF THIS CANCELLATION. Based on this ABOMINATION, if you want to be BURDENED with INCONVENIENCES, SHORT MONEY and PISSED OFF? Please, choose Nice Tours.
Great day in Luxor with Ahmed. Very knowledgeable of all the temples and funny as well. Highly recommend but wear comfortable shoes.
We went on a 1 full day private tour in Luxor and visited the Valley of the Kings and other temples. Our tour guide Hassan was very knowledgable and patient. He explained all the history through every stop on the tour. It also included a delicious lunch.
Nice tour is not nice at all. First of all, they are quite messy. Their tour guides doesnt know their product well. hot air balloon is included inside our 9days egypt tour package but they said that we need to pay extra money for its confusing. Our Child dont have a proper bed for rest at their hotels. My daughter slept on foldable bed but she paid full price not fair. Their tour guide started to abandon us when we are late for meetup location outside the crocodile museum. They basically provided zero service dont provide us a proper tour guide at edu temple until we made noise about that bad service. We are being chased & harassed & pester by a group of beggars kids and adult sellers trying to sell us stuff. Their tour guide provided bad service by prohibiting us from buying from the street vendor because they don't have commission instead they bring us to expensive stone shop trying to rip us off. And removed 3 temples visiting activities without any notice. without any compensation. We travelled all the ways to visit historial sites they just removed it as and when they like so unreasonable behaviour. They are very unprofessional, unfriendly , they demanded Usd 10 tips for bad services provided. I will not use them again. Their tours are very demanding & tirings we needs to wake up at 3/4/5 am in the morning as they wake up early too. They provided us a hotel three pyramids nearby a mosque they will give us an early morning wakeup call by praying very loudly which very disturbing@ 5am. Location is not goods no eatery or restaurants nearby we needs to uber to giza area tourist area to hv dinner. Their tour manager is very unorganised messy. They will msg us late night for tomorrow program which leads us very little or no time to pack for check out tomorrow from the cruise. They are very disorganised, seems that they have no experience in tourism. what to wear in egypt winter time is not advised too? First time, joined get your guide tour by nice tour scared off by their unprofessional behaviour. i will not join their tour next time. unlike klook their guide are nice and professional.
Today I visited the Karnak Temple complex followed by Luxor Temple, and I can’t say enough good things about our guide, Mena Oweda. He was extremely well informed and clearly knows Egyptian history inside and out, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully he shared it. He didn’t just recite facts; he added context and interesting details that made the temples feel alive and meaningful rather than overwhelming. Everything about the day was smooth and well organized. Mena was punctual, attentive, and very personable, always checking in to make sure the pace was comfortable and that questions were answered. He managed the timing perfectly at both sites, which made the experience feel relaxed rather than rushed. The driver Shenoda also deserves mention: courteous, attentive, and professional, with a clean, well-maintained car. Everyone was on time, and the logistics were seamless from start to finish. If you’re visiting Luxor and want a guide who is knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely pleasant to spend the day with, I would highly recommend Mena Oweda.
Overall, it was a pretty good trip for our family. We visited last week of Nov to first week of December. Everything was taken care of very well. The guides/drivers showed up on time as anticipated and are quite knowledgeable. We also got upgraded to a Luxury ship on our Nile cruise at no charge which is very nice. The hotel at Cairo is also reasonably good. I would advise Viator to also offer 5 star class of hotels for a higher payment as an option for an enhanced experience. As part of the package , our hotel was a 4 star hotel per Egyptian standards. For fellow travelers, I would suggest choosing a 5 star hotel in Cairo and a Luxury ship for Nile cruise for a great experience.
We just finished the tours for day 1 in Cairo/Giza and had a great day seeing the pyramids with our tour guide Mina! He is very knowledgeable and has made sure our day was enjoyable!
An amazing experience, made even more wonderful and comfortable by our tour guide Asmaa. Took very good care of us. Would recommend her to everyone visiting. Thanks!
We explored Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon with Mohamed Refaaie, and he was truly outstanding. His passion for Egyptian history is contagious, and his knowledge is remarkable. What we appreciated most is how interactive he was—always keeping us interested with incredible stories and engaging explanations that brought every site to life. His energy, humor, and genuine love for his work made the experience unforgettable. We absolutely recommend Mohamed to anyone visiting Luxor. An exceptional guide and a fantastic person!
Shirif Ali made a great Trip with uns he was very Kind and took his time to explain everything to us. Very nice Trip. Nice day
The visit to the pyramids were truly memorable with our guide Mina ensuring we were able to see everything. He also explained everything to us in great detail to ensure we truly appreciated the historic marvels we saw. Our driver Waleed also ensured we got to all places in time in the Cairo traffic.
Very good and I am happy , I would love to come again with my kids next year in hope that Gigi will help the kids to enjoy the tour like I did
We feel very fortunate to have booked the 9-day tour package operated by Nice Tour in November 2025. The entire experience was excellent, and we enjoyed every moment. The itinerary was well designed, and both the operations team and the customer support team at Nice Tour were responsive, supportive, and consistently helpful. They kept us informed in real time and even offered flexibility throughout the trip. The tour truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it. All the drivers and tour guides arranged by Nice Tour were top-notch—friendly, patient, and professional. We feel sorry that we weren’t able to record all of their names due to our poor memory. We would especially like to mention the following individuals who demonstrated outstanding service and excellent communication: 1. Day 1 – Alexandria Tour: Driver Abdelrahman and tour guide Engy, who provided an excellent and very knowledgeable tour of Alexandria. 2. Day 6 – Abu Simbel Temple Tour: The tour guide gave us a very clear, detailed, and informative experience. 3. Day 9 – Luxor Tour: Driver Mark, who was extremely helpful and punctual. His service allowed us to travel with complete confidence and peace of mind. 4. Day 9 – Cairo: Nice Tour representative Youssef and the Cairo driver, who kindly met us at the Cairo airport after midnight and brought us to the hotel safely and smoothly, again giving us great confidence and no worries. We sincerely appreciate the dedication and wonderful service provided by Nice Tour throughout our trip.
Amir was very knowledgeable, competent and friendly, we spent a fun and informative day with him in Giza we highly recommend him!
The guide( Kyrillos) was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about Egypt’s history. Everything was perfectly organized and ran smoothly according to schedule, without any delays.
The best time I had was with our guide Hishek and our driver Rimon. Out of all the guides and drivers these two were by far the best ones. They were both extremely respectful, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I was finally able to get my 9 year old son to get involved with the Egyptian history because of Hishek he was super great and en energetic he seemed passionate about what he was doing which made us all happy, while Rimon our driver was extremely compassionate and helpful unlike other drivers who either didn’t speak to us or charged us extra for taking things off our tour that weren’t mandated and charging extra to get breakfast. Rimon spoke to us made us feel great treated us for some coffee, tea, water and gave us bracelets. I rate these two a 10 star, 5 stars was not enough. Thank you both for making this trip even for one day a great one only wish I had you both for the rest of the 6 days we were lucky enough to have a guide or a driver lie either of you.
Nice tour experience with Hadir who have shared every details of the history of each places and Structures that we visited.Exhilarating & enthralling experience of majestic monuments & architecture.
I’d like to recommend the day trip with Hadeer. She’s a fantastic guide with good recommendations. She guides us through the Giza pyramids and the Egyptian Museum.
We had a lovely time in Giza. I learn with Mohammed Wagih about the history at the museum. The Pyramids and the Sphinx was amazing to see!!!
Guide nassier is very friendly and wonderful knowledge of Egyptian history. We enjoy his guide. Also he always give us the option of the schedule and that also helpful.
My wife and I had an amazing day tour in Cairo with our guide, Doha. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. She brought Egypt’s history to life and made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend her!
Hadeer was absolutely amazing tourist guide… full of information, knowledge and genuine fine guide. She even was happy to answer any questions regarding Egypt.
Things the tour company didn’t tell you was about the tipping. We were asked to tip the whole boat, the staff was hovering over you the whole time, it was unpleasant. Communication was difficult on many occasions. Being fustrated and angry made the experience unpleasant at times.
We took the Giza tour with Ana, who was extremely knowledgeable and well-prepared. The tour was fantastic, and she even recommended a lovely essences and perfume shop. Thank you, Ana, for sharing your knowledge!
This is a sort of "tour of tours" and my guess is that the planning done by Nice Tours is rather difficult. They did a brilliant job of keeping me informed in real time, despite that. So let's call out some people in approximate date order, some of whose names I will unfortunately mangle and even moreso because I appear to have lost some of my notes: Ba4r who picked me up at CAI and Madne who gave an excellent tour of the Giza pyramids; Manuelle (who I forgot my cash and couldn't give a tip to, even though she was great) and driver Mohammed Kassem in Alexandria; Mary at Karnak Temple; Hanni in Abu Simbel; Mohamed Ati; and Demiana. All of my guides were top notch, very informative, and a joy to visit with. The crew on the cruise as well as the drivers/"wranglers" :-D for the ballon trip were also fantastic. On the downside, the communication between Nice Tours and my hotel in Giza didn't go so well. The room wasn't particularly good, the staff was the least friendly on the trip, they tried to charge me for things I wasn't supposed to be paying for, and they just didn't do in a timely manner what I have every reason to believe they were asked to do. So while Nice Tours really made up for it by giving me a place for a few hours in Luxor before my late flight back to Cairo, that hotel didn't do what they needed to when they had the chance. I'll also point out that as a solo traveller, I was "assigned" a table by myself in the back corner of the dining area. This is not conducive to conversation with others, and I've made more friends in the first two minutes on my subsequent one-day tours than I did in several days on the ship. Please don't assign seating in that manner. Fortunately, amongst the many Spanish speakers on the cruise was a nice family from Seville. Between the fact that their daughter's English is very good and my Spanish is half-decent, I enjoyed some time with them. Finally, the Egyptian tourism industry...ay ay ay. It sounds like some guides aren't getting work unless they're given five star reviews by the next day (it has taken me about five to get this written which is quick considering how I travel and after losing some notes, as mentioned). And if you only go on a couple of tours you might be able to stand the hard sell tactics of the people they'll take you to visit. But after a week with near-daily trips to see spices, scents, papyrus, stone carvings, and extremely agressive bazaar vendors? Enough already. The government or whoever is requiring this needs to reassess before the nascent tourist boom gets a bad name amongst travelers. In the end though, this tour was well worth the price. You'll see what most tourists want to see, learn a lot about Egyptian history from excellent guides, and it will cost far less than some others. With the exception of one day of running a gauntlet while leaving Edfu Temple, it was worth dealing with any problems.
Mahmoud was a super guide in Alexandria. As a local, he is clearly passionate, but also well versed, in the city’s and the country’s history. On top he is amusing, and flexible when it comes to the itinerary.
Everything is very fluid, the tour guide Manal is very nice and explained everything clearly. A great tour to deepen the rich Egyptian culture.
