I went with my brother who thinks travel is a waste of money. He spent the entire Kom Ombo tour photographing crocodile mummies and texting our mom. I consider that a win. The temple is unique because it honored two gods Sobek and Horus and the symmetry is beautiful. Our guide laughed at my brothers non stop questions and answered every single one patiently. Admission fee was included and we appreciated not haggling at every site. Visit length at Kom Ombo was about ninety minutes which was sufficient. Atmosphere was hot obviously but the riverside breeze helped. Crowd size was moderate with several European groups. Staff at the cruise prepared a small birthday cake for my brother even though his birthday was three weeks ago. We ate it on the deck watching the Nile turn gold. Best for skeptics who need proof.

We booked this as friends who argue about everything from politics to pizza toppings. Egypt forced us to agree on something finally. The Valley of the Kings was the turning point. Standing inside Seti I tomb looking at ceilings that kept their color for three thousand years we all shut up at the same time. Our guide Mina explained the stripping of tomb treasures and how tourists in the nineteenth century carved their names into the stone. We felt embarrassed for our ancestors. Admission fee included three tombs and we paid extra for Seti which I recommend. Crowd size was okay because we went at eleven when groups were at lunch. Length of visit was two hours exactly and we needed every minute. Staff at the cruise let us store our absurd amount of duty free chocolate in their fridge. Best for friend groups who need something bigger than their arguments.
I never really understood why people fall in love with deserts until I stood in front of the Great Pyramid at sunrise. My wife and I booked this trip as a bucket list thing and honestly I thought it would be just checking boxes. But the moment our Egyptologist Mohamed explained how these blocks were moved without wheels I felt stupid for ever thinking ancient people were primitive. The Grand Egyptian Museum is still partially open but even the staircase alone is worth the trip. We spent almost four hours inside and could have stayed longer. Entrance fee was smooth because the guide handled tickets while we drank sugarcane juice. Crowd was manageable at GEM but Giza was wild with camel vendors and selfie sticks. Staff at the cruise ship remembered our names by day two which never happens in big resorts. Best for couples who want actual history not just beach. Mohamed noticed my wife was tired and quietly arranged a front row seat at the Sound and Light show without making a fuss. That is service you cannot teach.
We went as a couple and my boyfriend is obsessed with military history. The Citadel of Saladin was not originally on our radar but our guide added it as a bonus when we had extra time. The view of Cairo from the mosque ramparts and the history of Muslim and Crusader conflicts kept him talking for two days. Admission fee was minimal and included in the adjustment. Visit length was about an hour which was sufficient. Atmosphere at the Citadel is fortress serious. Crowd size was light and we moved freely. Staff on the cruise arranged a late dinner when our return from Cairo was delayed. Best for history buffs with specific interests.
We went as a couple celebrating our retirement. Sixty five combined years of work and we picked Egypt. Our guide was exactly our age and we talked about retirement plans and grandchildren between temples. At the GEM we sat on a bench facing the colossal Ramses and just breathed together. Admission fee covered the entire experience and we never counted pennies. Visit length at the museum was three hours of slow walking. Atmosphere was dignified and unhurried. Crowd size was moderate but the building absorbed soundStaff on the cruise helped my husband charge his hearing aid battery when he forgot the adapter. Best for retirees.
I have mix feelings about this trip since I have two totally different experiences with this company. 1) Cairo experience: overall it was awful, BOB my first driver was AMAZING! he was king, talkative and made the first drives pleasant, however, my first guide was AWFUL, probably the worst i have ever have and I have been in 65 different countries. POOR hygiene, he didnt let me take pictures, rushing me around, I did not like him at alla he was rude as well. Also, the second DRIVER was also awful, he drove like a MANIAC, and rushed as well, overall the qualily was poor and I lost my GEM museum experience since I was rushed all the time. 2) ASWAN & LUXOR: AHMED was amazing, BEST BEST BEST GUIDE EVER!!!!! he was kind, funny, patience, took picutres, knowledgeable, on time , he made those 3 days AMAZING! i totally recommend him 100%. I wish I could provide 5 star but since cairo was 2 days and it was an awful experience I feel 3 stars is fair. If you go and book with this company book AHMED! Also, note that my first guide was for spanish language and then changed to english. In terms of pricing and quality of cuise and hotel it was as expected and I dont have complain, as an advise for the company they have to make sure they stabiize their standards its important! All other logistics, tickets and else was fine, no complains.
I traveled solo and usually I hate guided tours because I like moving at my own pace. This one earned my trust. The domestic flight saved me a full day of driving and the cruise ship felt like a floating boutique hotel not a crowded barge. I woke up in Luxor went to breakfast and walked off the ship into sixteen hundred years of history. Admission fee for the Luxor Temple at night is separate but worth it because the columns are lit from below and look like they are floating. Crowd size was thin at the evening visit. Staff at the front desk remembered my room number without checking the computer. Length of visit at the Cairo sites was well paced and I never felt chased. The GEM staircase alone is a masterpiece. Best for independent travelers suspicious of groups.
We booked as friends and we are all tall guys. The temple doorways at Karnak and Edfu were not built for our height. I hit my head twice. Our guide laughed with us not at us and pointed out ancient Egyptian doorways which were also low. Defense mechanism probably. Admission fee included everything and we felt the value immediately. Visit length was comprehensive and we appreciated the water stations. Atmosphere was hot but bearable. Crowd size at Karnak was busy but the columns are so massive you forget people exist. Staff on the cruise offered us ice packs and ibuprofen without being asked. Best for tall travelers
I went solo and I collect perfumes. Our guide noticed my interest at the Cairo museum and recommended a small essential oil shop near the Aswan market. The owner walked me through ten different scents including lotus which ancient Egyptians wore. I bought oil for my sister and she cried when she smelled it. Admission fee for the shop was zero and the purchase was forty dollars. Visit length at the main sites was never rushed. Atmosphere at the perfume shop was intimate and generous. Crowd size at the market was lively but the shop was quiet. Staff on the cruise helped me pack the glass bottles in bubble wrap. Best for fragrance lovers.
We went as a family and my son is autistic. Routine changes are hard for him. Our guide checked in with us every morning and explained the plan using a small whiteboard with drawings. The cruise director assigned us the same table for every meal and the same cabin steward. Small consistency made everything work. Admission fee was prepaid so no surprise transactions. Visit length was flexible and we skipped the Sound and Light show when he was tired. Atmosphere at the quieter temples like Dendera was calming. Crowd size was managed and staff redirected foot traffic near us. Staff at the cruise never made us feel difficult. Best for neurodivergent travelers.
I went with my business partner after closing a big deal and we needed something that wasn't another boring beach. This trip rewired my brain honestly. Standing at the base of the Great Pyramid and realizing it was already ancient when Julius Caesar was born put my quarterly targets into perspective. The GEM has this massive statue of Ramses that dominates the entrance hall and I just stood there for ten minutes not speaking. Admission fee structure was transparent and our guide handled the Valley of the Karnak complex without any waiting. Crowd size was moderate at the Sphinx viewpoint but we arrived early enough to get front row. Staff at the cruise treated us like regular people not just wallets. The Egyptian airline flight was short and efficient. Length of visit at Aswan was perfect because we did the felucca ride at golden hour. Best for business people who need to disconnect by reconnecting.
This trip felt tailor-made for couples. We started with the pyramids, where our guide gave us time to soak in the majesty without rushing. The sleeper train felt like an adventure, and then came the cruise luxury on water. We loved the variety of food,💕 especially enjoying meals together as the Nile glowed at sunset. Staff attention was perfect: attentive but never intrusive. It was both romantic and deeply cultural, a trip we’ll cherish.
Traveling solo through Egypt could have been complicated, but this package made everything seamless. From the first night at the hotel near the pyramids to the final day in Aswan, every detail was thoughtfully planned. The night train was more comfortable than I expected, and the 4-night cruise offered excellent meals, beautiful Nile views, and friendly staff who made me feel welcome. I had the freedom to explore but never felt alone💖💖
A memory that will last a lifetime. Every detail put into this trip made it go efficiently. We visited so many temples. The Nile cruise ship that was booked for us was spectacular. The hotel was great. Based on previous reviews, we decided to take the airplane from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan back to Cairo. My most favorite memory was honestly going for a cup of coffee in the market and getting to know the REAL Cairo. Ali was the kindest soul. However, Dr. Gaber became family to us. We were so sad to say goodbye to him. He is so knowledgeable and an archaeologist. He is so kind and accepting. He truly wants you to learn but also is willing to have you experience the Cairo that will stay in your heart forever. Incredibly kind and funny drivers. Everyone was respectful. Food was amazing too. Thank you Hassan for a well thought out trip and the people you hire to work with you.
The cruise and crew were amazing and we got the chance to visit many breath-taking temples and sites. I highly recommend it.
We are very happy we have chosen to follow the advice and planning of this agency. We got to see many things we would have never by ourselves. The ship they selected was beautiful and created a marvellous atmosphere. We got to make some new friends. The only black spot is the amount of time you can dedicate to each of the wonders you see. Having so much to do, sometimes you end up with just a very general idea of the sites you are visiting. Anyways, I would recommend this to anyone, specifically to those who go to Egypt for the first time and need someone to guide them step by step, without any worries about arrangements.
Just completed my Egypt tor planned and executed perfectly by Hassan. His experience of over 20 years is evident in his handling of small details and accommodating my needs. He has extensive knowledge of the Temples at Luxor, Karnak and Abu Simbel. Kept track of any changes by the cruise or airlines and made sure I had the transport and hotel. Feel fortunate to have Dr. Gaber fir the Cairo tours. He worked in teams with Dr. Hawasi, who is the top authority on pyramids! Dr. Gaber shared his deep knowledge of the Giza and Saqqara pyramids and Temples. Will try to bring my family here for my second trip to be taken care by Hassan and his team. I highly recommend Hassan to any one who is looking for a real understanding of the ancient Egyptian civilization! Pradeep Polavarapu
Great way to discover Cairo, Giza, Sakkara and Alexandria with the best guide: Shaban. He was very flexible and adapted to our needs.
Awesome experience. Good relation quality-price. I would totally recommend it. Cruise was clean and quite new, food was good too.
The trip was amazing from A to Z! All taken care of, incredible tours, meals, people, Guide Hassan, all of it. By far one of the best trips of my life!
We had an amazing holiday with Hassan as our guide, I wish I could do it all again! The journey was well planned and explained, the accommodation was always wonderful, I felt safe and happy at all times and Hassan was a wonderfully knowledgable and friendly guide who took great care of us. It’s hard to squeeze the magnificence of Egypt into a short holiday but somehow Hassan and the team managed to give us a flavour of the country both modern and historic, and we experienced so many amazing historic places. Hassan gave us history of each site we went to but also gave us time to explore on our own, which was perfect. I highly recommend this experience of Egypt and you will have a wonderful time with expert Hassan! Cannot recommend highly enough. Go and explore Incredible Egypt!
My trip to Egypt was a huge pleasure to have visit. I loved everything about our trip and the people were friendly and helpful at all times.
We traveled as a family and it was everything we expected! The places we visited were beautiful, although Cairo is a bit chaotic and crowded, but we still enjoyed it a lot. Our guide in Cairo was Dr Gaber and was very friendly and patient with us. He accompanied us and explained everything we needed to know. The cruise was perfect, Hassan was our Guide there and was watching every detail, even helping us recover a suitcase that the airline lost us, but in the end and after much insistence and your help we were able to recover it. Fully recommended!!!
