The tour was amazing Joseph was amazing at explaining everything he was patient and very humble he went above and beyond even me traveling solo he helped me out I have traveled around the world a lot and this was by far the best experience ever.

Very comfortable. Pick up and guide. Only thing is that I thought the entrance fee is included, it is NOT … Guide also offered taking us to visit a mosque or perfume shop, we chose not to. Whole visit was 2 hours to see the Royal mummies and transit. Nice view point of the Mohamad Ali mosque too

Dina was a friendly, knowledgeable and excellent tour guide. Pick up and drop off from the hotel were seamless.

This is only on two floors. Only one floor of items were on display. Some of the galleries were closed but the entry fee was the same. Visit only if you want to see the 'Mummies', otherwise the Museum at Tahrir square (although very poorly maintained) has much better collection of items. However, the 'Mummies' have been extremely well preserved. Even the Grand Egyptian Museum is better.

Had the best private guided tour to the National Egyptian Civilization Museum with Hoda. She was a wealth of knowledge, sharing details of Egyptian history and culture. Our private guided tour with Dina was fantastic. When our Viking Nile river cruise got canceled, we scrambled to find other ways to visit Cairo and the surrounding areas and we lucked out finding this organization. In addition to a visit to GEM, this museum is highly recommended during a visit to Cairo. It is simply delightful. The museum's disply of 22 Royal mummies are simply amazing. The ground-floor display is well organized to enrich our understandings of how people lived. For example, you see an ancient boardgame, Senet, from 3,100 BC. You see the importance of cosmetics (especially eye liners), mirrors, and wigs from ancient times.

Miriam was a very good guide. She was also friendly and interesting to talk to. The driver was also an interesting gentleman and very friendly. They both spoke good English. Miriam was an expert in Egyptian history and all the way to the museum she gave us a very good presentation on the history of the Egyptian pyramids and mummies.. Guide was very knowledgeable and listened to our requests. We wanted to see the non-major attractions as we were visiting again with our tour group. GEM was amazing. We were not rushed and pick up and transport were perfect.

Beautifully designed space; interesting exhibits. The resting place of the Royal Mummies is informative while fittingly respectful. Our guide, Simon, is an enthusiastic Egyptologist and generously shared her knowledge of both ancient and modern Egypt. Dina was amazing!!!! She is so sweet and knowledgeable. We were picked up directly from the hotel right on time and made our way safely to the Museum. The Civilization Museum was incredible. Dina took us all around and gave the backstory about all the incredible objects. This Museum was incredible, you literally get to see the Ramses from the Moses story!!! It’s hard to take in all the objects because the history of them is overwhelming!!!!

Museums in Cairo might be difficult to navigate but with our tour guide Hoda we could fully experience these places and their history. Amazing museum with so much history and culture. I was fascinated visiting the Egyptian museum with our tour guide Hoda. She made sure we are well informed and also tailored to our needs on what we want to see. Everything she shared was well received in a simple way and she also try to sound out the name of the pharaoh Hatshepsut (Hat + Ship + Suit) so we can easily pronounce. Hoda was very good in English and can understand her very well. I visited this place on a weekend. Tickets are available at the entrance. Per tourist, it's 500 EGP. This place is most famous for its showcases, including some kings mummy It was not crowded for a Saturday and it isnt big. Worth to visit.

At excellent service provided by Mario and Kyros who was driving the car. Picked up right on schedule and had a very nice introduction talk on our way to the National Civilization museum. Always very attentive, he gave a very detailed explanation about Egyptian civilization history and gave me enough time to see most of the museum attractions
