Luxury Felucca On The Nile With Lunch

Habibi and I booked the Felucca tour with lunch. Ahmed, our driver and guide, picked us up at our hotel on time in a nice SUV with AC. He is a very nice and friendly man. Lots of knowledge about many sites and he told us about Egyptian culture. We went to the Harbour and boarded the boat. We were the only people on the boat, which was a surprise. Captain Mohammed was a very good boatsman and did a great job with the felucca. The Nile river tour was very stress free and relaxing. We had lunch on board. I am a fussy eater, but the chicken meal was very good. Desserts were also tasty. Tea and water was provide. A great way to see Cairo and have lunch. I highly recommend this tour.

Dealing with Adam online in the booking enabled an easy booking for 8 of us. Our guide arrived half an hour early for the pick-up and waited until we were ready. A minibus was provided for transport both ways. We had the felucca to ourselves. The pre-ordered meals were brought on board as we arrived and there was juice and soft drinks/water provided. The cruise itself was relaxed, enjoyable and informative. We tacked this on the end of a tour to fill in time before an evening flight and it was better than many of the organised events on the tour!

Ahmed was exceptional.. We had time of our life. Mostly will remember forever. What a beautiful person he is. From picking up from office, the experience, welcome, interaction, food and pictures. He just made our Egypt tour so much special! Ahmed he will have a special place in our life. Anyone reading this, your tour to Egypt is unfinished without Ahmed.

Was an awesome experience start to finish. Ahmed took very good care of me and my wife starting with a warm friendly introduction, a very thoughtful romantic gesture for my wife and taking multiple sunset pictures and talking about what we were seeing on the river banks. Captain Saed is a real pro and makes navigating the Niles effortless. The sunset was stunning. Highly recommend. Ahmed even took me and my wife clothes shopping on our way back as we needed something to go to the pyramids the next day, they are real professionals.

We booked a private Nile River boat trip with Ahmed and Captain Saidd on 4th October, and went with my mum. We had a great experience from start to finish. Ahmed was very informative and friendly, and it was a lovely way to see Cairo from the river and take in the sights at a more relaxed pace. The pickup was prearranged with pictures of the vehicle. Ahmed was fully engaged with us through the ride and cruising down the Nile. He was very informative about every day life, culture and any questions we asked. The captan was quite talented with steering the boat. Awesome experience

Such a wonderful special time! Ahmed picked us up from our hotel (great communication by the way) safely and expertly drove us (not easy in Cairo) to the location to get on the Felucca. The Felucca was so charming, beautifully displayed table and Ahmed and the captain truly wanted us to relax, enjoy, and take in the beauty of the Nile and all that she has to offer. Everything was taken into consideration and Ahmed made sure we got photos to capture it all. I thought the food was great; I had the Moussaka and my husband had the chicken. They took us down the Nile with this beautiful breeze guiding us, along with our expert captain. Ahmed is a very special person, very kind, very thoughtful, very sincere. He was very generous with his time in helping us with a situation and we will always remember him for that! An incredible human being! Book this one! It is a Gem!!!

From the moment we met, Ahmed was warm, funny and incredibly enthusiastic about his country. His passion for Egypt and its history is infectious — once he starts talking about Egyptology you can see how much it genuinely means to him. By the end of the afternoon I had apparently also acquired an Egyptian brother! The felucca itself was fantastic. We spent several hours sailing on the Nile with Said, our captain, and Camba, the photographer. There was no feeling of being rushed from one thing to another. We sailed around the island, stopped, talked, ate an enormous Egyptian meal and simply enjoyed being on the river. The food and hospitality were incredibly generous — so generous, in fact, that they had accidentally prepared enough food for two guests even though I was travelling alone! I also booked the photography option and I’m so pleased I did. Camba took 187 photographs during the afternoon, while Ahmed also took around another 50 on my phone. It meant I could actually enjoy the experience rather than spend the whole afternoon looking at the Nile through my phone screen. There was also a very personal reason this particular trip mattered to me. My mum had died exactly three months earlier, and shortly before Ahmed collected me I asked whether there might be somewhere quiet and discreet where I could scatter a small amount of her ashes on the Nile. His response was immediate and incredibly kind. He simply said yes, offered his condolences and told me he would help me. When the time came, the boat was taken to a quiet and private part of the river. The music was stopped and I was given all the time I needed. Nobody made a spectacle of it and nobody rushed me. Ahmed quietly filmed the moment for me on my phone while Camba took photographs, meaning I now have something incredibly precious that I wasn’t expecting to have. Afterwards, Ahmed gave me a hug. It is difficult to explain in a review how much the way they handled those few minutes meant to me. It was done with complete respect and kindness, and it allowed me to include my mum in a journey to Egypt that she had encouraged me to take. The rest of the afternoon was full of laughter, conversation, food and beautiful views of the Nile. On the drive back to my hotel, Ahmed was still enthusiastically talking to me about Egypt and its history. When we arrived I went to shake his hand goodbye, but he wouldn’t have it. we did the private tour on he Feluca it was great ride up the Nile to see many points of interest. the food was enjoyable (alot of it) our guide Ahmed was great and very knowledgeable of the trip

Ahmed was friendly, informative, and generous from pick up to drop off. We had a great conversation while cruising the Nile, and he was a wonderful photographer, capturing so many special photos that we will cherish forever. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would recommend highly to anyone!

Ayman is a nice person. He tries to make experience as good as possible for you. I’d recommend booking during the day though, it’s not as good at night as you can’t see as much.

Ayan, Camba, and Abo Mohamed were so good to me and my wife for her 40th Birthday. They took us on the Felluca down the Nile, and Ayan told us all about the local farmers and fisherman, as well as the history between Cairo and Giza. Camba's photo shooting skills were incredible, the photos were very professional and have given us memories for years to come. Our boat captain Abo Mohamed was very humble and nice, all 3 of these guys have given us an experience we will never forget!
