Layover Tour From Cairo Airport

Marco and his driver were great guides in Cairo during my layover tour. I was a bit short on time so the tea made sure we cover a lot of points in a timely manner. Marco was very knowledgeable about history, answer all of my questions. He also taught me quite a few Arabic words. It was not only fun to explain myself to locals in Arabic but it was handy when I was leaving Egypt and needed to explain why I have certain diving equipment. Marco took great photos with no tourists in the background and some of them will become my profile pictures. In addition to the standard tour route we also stopped by at a papyrus company and I learned how it is processed, at natural oils shop, and the team grabbed me local food and cookie. The tour team felt very safe what is great for solo female traveler. Overall, a great experience if you have 6-9hr to kill in Cairo. Recommend

I had a 23 hour layover in Cairo and I booked my trip with this group and had an amazing time! My tour guide was Hassan Ghanem and he communicated with me before my trip about the locations I wanted to visit and even made some recommendations (such as visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum instead of El Tahrir) which I took and ended up definitely being the right decision! He was super knowledgeable about the history of all the attractions we visited and had great open communication with me about my needs such as food or additional wants. His English is native-level and he as super friendly and cordial throughout my trip. Some of his standouts moments was his additional recommendations which became some of my favorite parts of the trip, such as the boat ride through the Nile, and being able to accommodate additional requests into our busy schedule (such as fitting in time to find a jewelry and perfume store) while still finishing everything we planned! He was also proactive with offering to take photos for me (and they look great as well!). We also got soda and ice cream in the middle of car rides which really adds that spontaneous fun experience. Additional, our driver Abdullah was fantastic as well. He knew great spots for photos, such as at the beginning of the trip with the Nile, and he too was super accommodating with my additional stops! He really made an effort to communicate with me despite language differences which I truly appreciated and he was able to navigate the busy streets of Cairo like a pro! Overall, I felt like I was truly able to experience and learn so much about Cairo in less than a day and I attribute that to Hassan’s and Abdullah’s help!

I wish I could rank more than 5 stars. An amazing opportunity to see the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The experience was made all the better by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable expert guidance from our Egyptologist. Hugely grateful for all of the insights, history and authentic introduction to the Pyramids. Complemented further by a comfortable pick-up and drop-off, and a delicious lunch. Do not miss this!

An extraordinary layover experience! The logistics were seamless, and Ebrahim was both highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The camel ride around the pyramids offered spectacular views, while entering Khufu’s pyramid was extraordinary. Lunch was a delightful falafel feast, and the cultural touches throughout the day were perfectly curated. This tour absolutely transforms a tedious stopover into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

I had a great experience and booked this last minute tour a day before I arrived. George was very responsive and I was also with Mohamed and Mori who provided a great experience for my 17hr layover. Went to 5 different locations and had time to get back to hotel shower and eat before my flight. Highly recommend

Incredible whirlwind tour of Cairo! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a short layover. Our guide Marco was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was flexible with the itinerary and gave us what we wanted and more. He was well complimented by Badr, our driver, who made sure we got everywhere ahead of time. We toured Old Cairo, Hanging Church, Egyptian Museum, and the Citadel with Marco. We learned so much from Marco. He is like a walking encyclopedia. I have never met a tour guide who says you cab ask him about “any object “ in the museum (and we did) and tell you everything about it. Marco was so kind, didn’t put any pressure on you in terms of anything feeling like a sales pitch, gave you options, treated us to yummy date crackers, and genuinely tried to maximize our time. Hesham was our driver who graciously braved the Cairo traffic back and forth between sites to accommodate us. Hesham is a safe driver, punctual, and funny. Their communication is clear and they work together as a great team. The duo went above and beyond even after the tour was over. They asked if we wanted to see anything else. We were able to see the Rock Church after paying some additional fees to the company! We were so grateful because it was such a long day already. Incredible experience. Thank you again for everything!

Marco is a fantastic guide who is friendly and knowledgeable. He looks after our group so well and showed us the hidden gems. It seems like everyone in the museum knows him! Go on a tour with Marco and you won't regret it :)

I'm so happy that we picked this tour! Marco (our guide) was nothing short of exceptional. He was extremely knowledgable, thoughtful, and generous with his time and attention. Marco adjusted on the fly the plan to our interests and shown some spots I did not know existed or were open to tourists. Since I've been to Cairo before, I was a bit apprehensive of the level harassment by street sellers, but this trip was different and I credit that to Marco. Overall, great experience!

My coworkers and I had a great time touring the Pyramids and learning about the Egyptian culture while there for work. Me and my daughter had the loveliest time touring Cairo, the Pyramids and the Museum. The tour guide Nashat shared interesting information about history, Egyptian language, insights about lifestyle of modern Cairo and Egypt. He was very pleasant, caring and attentive. He shared all the best spots for photos! He even followed up via WhatsApp on some suggestions regarding my Islamic and coptic architectural inquiry. 7-8 hours of touring went very fast. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! The company has excellent communication, and were very prompt when picking us up. Our tour guide made my wife and I feel safe and comfortable, spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgable. We saw everything we needed to see in one day and there was no stress regarding making it back to the airport in time for our next flight. The experience we had from this tour was beyond our expectations and we would recommend that anyone who is interested in experiencing the beauty and mystery of Egypt book this tour. I will definitely be recommending friends and family to book this tour and experience the magic we did when visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx and museum. It was absolutely awesome!

Did this on a long layover. Normally I don’t do tours but with not a lot of time I didn’t want to have to think about getting back to the airport on time. Was the right decision. Amir was a very gracious and knowledgeable host and Ayman was a super friendly and fun driver. Their priority was that I went where I wanted and did what I wanted. No pressure to buy anything - just a stress free way to see the sites. If i just took cabs everywhere I would not have seen so much or learned so much and I think it would have cost more or about the same.

I had a fantastic time on this tour and cannot recommend it more! We climbed the pyramids, visited the crypts and tombs below the pyramids, the sarcophaguses, saw some of the ancient ruins, got to take wonderful photos by the Spinx and Maria knew exactly where to see the views the best and take the most amazing photos. I had such a great time that on my next visit I’ll be using deluxe tours and Maria again!!

Nevin is a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable but above all as soon as you meet her you feel like you’ve know her for years. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back and book some more tours.
