I went with my wife, and our tour guide was super nice. She taught us everything we needed to know and showed us everything we needed to see. She answered all our questions, and her english was excellent. Thank you, Roaa!
Started with roaa who greeted us at hotel lobby , we had a great conversation as curious with Egyptian history and she was able to fill in the gaps especially since this tour is after ancient egypt . The sites taken were unique and since we did an extensive tour prior , the time for each area was just perfect for Cairo. Thank you !
Roaa gave us a good overview of the historic buildings, the cultural context and shared a few anecdotes. Plus she was able to answer all our random questions. It was the perfect way to end our Egypt trip.
Spiritual tour for us. Our tour guide explained and answered all of our questions and gave us time to observe and pray.
This is a very good presentation of Coptic Cairo led by a enthusiastic tour guide and Egyptologist, fair amount of walking and sights included.Highly commendable! Fascinating sights and well presented!
This is a must do tour. My guide was friendly, knowledgeble and great with kids/family. Amazing experience, arrived on time and the churches are breathtaking.
Our first day in Cairo started out to be a wonderful experience, thanks to Yemani, our driver. He went above and beyond the call of duty. His communication was excellent. He possessed the knowledge about the places we visited and pointed out interesting information about various places on our way and gave us some valuable insights. He ensured that we were comfortable and safe and we were able to go at our pace.
What an amazing tour this was. Our guide Abdu was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about everything and he was so polite. If I had to rate him out of 10 it was an 11. We loved going to the Cave Church what an experience, we loved Coptic Cairo and the Cavern Church and the Hanging Church. We added on two extras which was not an issue for Abdu and we went to the Citadel and the Civilisation Museum. Both of these are a must if you are in Egypt. There were so many highlights but seeing where Joseph Mary and baby Jesus hid for three months in Egypt was very special. Another highlight was the sharing a coffee break with Abdu and learning so much about the culture of Egypt. If you are planning on visiting Egypt consider this tour and make sure you ask for Abdu.
First off, Abdu was an amazing tour guide. He spoke English very well, patiently answered our many questions, and was so informative about each site he took us to visit. He has a lot of passion about the history, which made the tour feel even more special. We were never pressured to visit specific shops, which was a relief. Highly recommend you book this tour and, if possible, ask for Abdu!

We had a great tour, and would recommend it. It’s good to see more than the pyramids and in Cairo the mosques and other religious buildings are a great addition.
Lovely tour guide who was very knowledgeable and great fun with my daughter which meant I could relax and enjoy the tour.
The tour was great, the guide was super friendly and strived to meet all of our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. His explanations were very detailed
Cave Church was amazing and so was the entire complex associated with it. The adjacent garbage city neighborhood was also something to see.
This was one of the easiest and most interesting tours I have been on. Abdelrahman was full of knowledge, he answered every question I had, and quizzed me on the facts he taught me. We walked through parts of the old Cairo together, we went to churches, a synagogue and a mosque. He bought me falafel and sugar cane juice. He was lovely and we chatted about his recent travel to Saudi Arabia. I chose to wear a head covering as I knew we would be going to a mosque but this was not necessary (in the mosque they provide comings). Would definitely go again. (All the photos bellow he took, he has a passion for photography and he’s good at it)
I really enjoyed the tour with Abdu and Mo hegazy is a very polite driver Abdu is very knowledgeable and took many nice photos… more than I ever expected…above and beyond
Abdu was awesome! I went with him initially on the Coptic Cairo tour, but later he had time and took me to Khan El Khalili Bazaar and gave me a tour their as well. Abdu is well educated (engineer) and well informed about the history of Coptic Cairo. He was patient with the group and answered all our questions. Later that day I had another tour booked for Khan El Khalili Bazaar with a different tour guide who had not responded. So I asked Adbu whether he would take me. He said he was free and would take me. So we did a solo 1-on-1 tour and I even got to ride in the local public transport vans in Cairo to get to the market since no Ubers were available. I wouldn't have gotten this experience if I was not going with a local like Adbu.
I went on Abdu's walking tour of Coptic Egypt during my stay in Cairo (Jan 2024). Abdu exceeded my expectations! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Egypt and the construction of the various sites we visited. The highlight for me was seeing the cave where Jesus and Mary hid for three months; it felt surreal. I also really enjoyed Abdu's explanation of the similarities and differences between Islam, Christianity and Judaism. It's remarkable to see a synagogue, church and mosque co-existing near each other together peacefully. What an inspiration to society given all the religious unrest in the world.
Amazing excursion and many tales and interesting historic information from the guide. It was a really fantastic afternoon in this district.
Such a fantastic tour! Abdu went out of his way to adapt the tour to what I most wanted to see and was so knowledgeable - I learned so much. What a fantastic way to spend a day, can’t say enough good things!
It was a great experience! So glad we had the chance to visit the whole Coptic area with Abdu! Really worthy! We totally recommend this tour!
Didn’t know which tour to choose so ended up spending the whole day with Abdu! Very easy to get in contact and book your tour through WhatsApp! My parents and me really enjoyed our time and company! Abdu went all the way to show us around from buying things at the bazar to local restaurants to eat and drink. Learnt a lot about a less famous part of Caïro (Coptic) and got picture perfect photos from the whole tour. Thanks to my personal photographer, Abdu himself! Visited a lot of highlights on my list on this tour. Very friendly and easygoing guy. Would highly recommend!
