Half Day Tour To Giza Pyramids And Sphinx

I made the best choice. My guide, Amir Alaa, and his driver, Salah, gave me a wonderful tour, sharing a wealth of ancient Egyptian history. Sam was outstanding as a guide. Knowledgeable, adaptable and passionate about his subject expertise, Sam guided us through the pyramid complex with information that we had not seen in other guides. Sam felt like a friend from the start and gave us all the relevant details (pick up time, driver and car details) that we needed to make our trip educational but safe. If you are looking for an educational tour from a Egyptology student enthusiastic about his subject, that bypasses all the usual tour guide patter (and unwanted purchase opportunities from their friends) we would recommend Sam in a heartbeat.

I would definitely recommend this tour! Everything was smooth from pickup to drop-off. We were picked up on time and we felt safe and well taken care of. Our guide was great! My 13 year old daughter and I (female) were met by our guide Amir and driver in the morning for a pick up at the hotel. It was an amazing tour which included all the highlights of pyramid's and the Sphinx. On the spot, we decided to go for a camel ride for a fixed fee of 1000 egp which was exciting. On top of the highlights and the camel ride, we were so lucky with our guide Amir who was kind, trustworthy, helpful and very knowledgeable. Overall, an amazing experience.

The tour was outstanding, once you book, salah contacted me and gave me all the info for the tour, On the second day we met sam on time, the car was clean, sam was very informative, helpful and we felt like he is one of our family. Book with mummies tours, highly recommended!!!!

We only had a short window in which to get in a tour of the Pyramids. We loved that we could choose our start time for the day, giving us plenty of flexibility to meet our other commitments. Our guide, Sam, did a great job capturing all of the fun pictures (holding the pyramid, leaning against it, kissing the Sphinx, etc.) for us to have as memories. Although not originally part of our itinerary, we were able to stop at a papyrus store to learn how the artwork is made.

We had such an amazing time! The tickets were sent to us so we could access them on our phone, and our Guide (Sam) was amazing!! We've done a lot of small/ private tours, and he was beyond wonderful. The information he shared was relevant, helpful, and very informative. If you are questioning about who to have with you during your stay, you will be 100% satisfied!

One of the best days of my life! I had a private tour with just me (solo) with Sayed as my guide and Salah as my driver. Both were extremely kind and helpful. Sayed knows the answer to just about any question you ask him! I was able to learn everything I wanted to know about the pyramids and Egypt in general, take a camel ride, and get some spectacular photos! Sayed seemed to know everyone at the ticket desks, security, and even the restaurants we went to and Salah was always on standby with the air conditioned car when we were done. It feels like you’re getting the completely deluxe presidential treatment in Egypt. Don’t hesitate to get a guide to Egypt. Everyone I know who went here (including my father many years ago) gets one. Make your trip to Egypt a memorable one! I was so happy with the tour, I got them for two additional days. One day we went to the Egyptian Museum, NMEC, and Hanging Church. The other day we went to Al-Azhar Park, Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and Al-Azhar Mosque, and Khan el-Khalili (the famous market). Both were extremely nice, time efficient, and extremely memorable. If you’re happy with the trip to Giza, make sure to ask about hiring them for additional days. You won’t regret it!

My tour was an amazing experience. Mohsen is one of the best guides I’ve ever had. As a woman traveling solo, he made me feel very safe and comfortable while still maintaining respectful boundaries. He took care of all the logistics I needed so that the trip was smooth and easy going. Mohsen’s English is first rate and he really goes into detail about everything you see. He is super knowledgeable and is really good using that knowledge to tell you a story, rather than just throwing facts at you. I 100% recommend any of his tours!

Our guide Ahmed Mohsen was very professional and knowledgeable. He was always punctual. We learnt so much about Egyptian history and culture. And you can tell he’s passionate about being a tour guide. His knowledge was not only limited to the Pyramids but Egyptian history in general. I highly recommend him 👍🏼

Experience was fascinating। The guide was very friendly and we'll versed in English। He had a commandable hold on Egyptian history the tour was very nicely articulated। Special mention to the awesome photo locations highlighted by him। We had crazy fun। The best part was that he suggested an incredible restaurant for the lunch as we wanted to try local cuisines। Would highly recommend this tour

I had a great experience with Mohsen and team! He is literally one of the best guides in Cairo! He was attentive to our needs, made our experience very personal, and (not to mention) he is an EXCELLENT photographer, which makes it even more worth it. I enjoyed Mohsen so much that we booked him for almost everything else we did. No other tour guide or company compared!!

We had Mohsen as our guide to visit the pyramids and sphinx and couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He provided us with a lot of historical knowledge throughout the day and had genuine enthusiasm for his job and what he could teach to others.
