I was with Ayoub and had an excellent experience. Very accommodating and never rushing us we had the time to enjoy every part of the tour. Very friendly guide worth the money especially since the guide knows how everything works and u don’t loose time.

After our driver, Ahmed, picked us up, we met our tour guide, Hany, at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. It was an interesting and educational tour, as the museum contained many fascinating artifacts. Hany was extremely friendly, patient, and provided detailed answers to all of our questions. After the tour was over, I asked Hany for suggestions on where to buy souvenirs, so he took us to a great shop where I was able to get great gifts at reasonable prices!
Definitely recommended. The Grand Egyption Museum is really grand and takesh you through a journey and if you are lucky to have Kyrllos Eskandar as your guide it enhances the experience. Kyrllos is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt and its history. We felt very comfortable with him and came out much more educated. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time touring Cairo with Fatimah. The guided experience was truly exceptional. Since one of the sites was closed when we visited, she customized the itinerary just for us. Fatimah picked us up from our hotel bright and early, and she brought water bottles for our convenience. When we reached the Giza Pyramid, her deep knowledge of Ancient Egypt, including fascinating figures like Cleopatra and Ra, left us in awe. She patiently answered all our questions and made sure we understood the rich history around us. She went above and beyond to ensure our shopping was effortless and organized our lunch, which was a lovely touch. Even after our visit to another city, Fatimah checked in on us and offered great recommendations to help us maximize our time. We really recommend guided tour with guide Osama. We really had such a wonderful time together. She showed us the best spots and took many wonderful pictures.
We had Amr Moses and all I can say is what a day, top quality guy and knowledge was second to non, felt like he actually wanted to show you around rather than just his job. He does other tours so will definitely be booking with him again. Tour said half day but definitely wasn't from a UK citizen point of view anyway, was at least 5/6 hours. You go absolutely crazy on the quads as well. Pickup and drop off from hotel which was nice.
Amr Moses was an amazing tour guide, we had a fabulous day thanks to him, definitely recommend! We had a day of pyramids, camel riding, ATV, lunch, sphinx, and Egyptian papyrus, essence oil, jewellery and spice experience.

This tour was amazing and came with so much more than expected! Manar was very knowledgeable about the history of each pyramid, and was very flexible in regard to the order of which sights we saw first , ensuring we got the more taxing ones out of the way before the heat increased. The camel ride was a fun addition that led to some great photos, and there was even a little bit of shopping after lunch through traditional papyrus shops, oils and fragrances, Egyptian cotton, and gold. Our driver Mostfa made sure we weren’t waiting too long in any one particular spot and ensured we got everywhere we needed to safely. Definitely a must do while in Egypt

A tour with all the highlights. We saw all the pyramids and learnt about how the pyramids were built and went inside of one of the queen’s pyramids. Abanoub was very knowledgeable and efficient. We did not need to wait for anything and the tour went very smoothly.
The trip is well organized. The pyramids are really amazing and going with a tour guide just makes it even more meaningful since you know the history of it. The private tour also gives you the flexibility and the convenience to avoid all the scamming and most importantly to make a lot of cool pictures!!!!!!! Trust me you will love those pictures. The camel ride is also very special which you can see the panorama view. Overall I really recommend the day tour. Ayoub is by far the BEST tour guide we could have had for our first time in Egypt. My husband and I came for our honeymoon and prior to coming out here, he’s been in communication with us since back in November keeping us in the loop of what things we could do during our visit. He educated us on the history of the Great Pryramids and was very patient with us when it came to all the questions we had. Ayoub shared the “hidden gems” of the city of Giza and even took us to see where the famous papyrus paper is made. My husband and I truly enjoyed our time with Ayoub and also getting to learn about him and this great country. Not to mention, he came highly recommended by a close friend and did not disappoint. We came across Egypt tours destination on Tripadvisor when we were looking for a tour company for the 1/2 day Pyramids tour. Adam was quick to respond and explained all the different tours they provide and the costs associated with them. We chose to go with Egypt tours based on no of 5* star reviews they had and the price of the tour. Adam got in touch with us closer to the tour date to confirm location and pick up time. We then got a message from Mina the night before introducing himself. He readily made himself available for any questions we had during our stay in Cairo. I messaged him quite late at night to ask him about taxis/restaurants etc and he was always quick to respond. On the day of the tour Mina arrived on time and waited for us as we were running slightly late. He told us what the tour entails and explained what we would be doing every step of the way. I haven’t met anyone so passionate about their job as much as Mina. His knowledge about ancient Egypt and the pyramids is remarkable. He took time out to answer our questions and is very patient as we love taking photos. He also took some amazing photos for us which are very cool. I would definitely recommend ETD and I would ask for MINA as your tour guide as he is simply one of the best tour guides we have met and you will have a wonderful time with him . Thank you for making my life dream come true. Ayoub took us to spots where we could take the best photos and even took many for us, he was an amazing photographer and tour guide. Ayoub explained ancient Egyptian history in such an enthusiastic way, it made the trip so much more memorable and meaningful as we*re Egyptians who grew up abroad so it was nice to learn about the history of our country. He was very sweet and fun to talk to, definitely the best tour I've ever been on!! Highly recommend :D

WOW WOW WOW! if you're thinking of booking a tour in Egypt let it be this one, our tour of the pyramids was incredible and the museum is amazing! There are soooo many artefacts you could spent literally hours just wandering around. We got the best photos at the Giza Pyramid Complex and enjoyed it so much, we went as a family of 3 (with a 3 year old) nothing was too much bother for both our guide and our driver. A wonderful team & we couldn't recommend them enough. (Ayoub knows all the best photo spots 😉)
If you can only do one thing in Giza then you have to do the Pyramids but finding the right guide is important. I highly recommend this tour, so knowledgeable and open minded to discussions. Had an amazing half-day tour to the Giza Pyramids with the very knowledgeable and impassioned tour guide, Mina! Ancient Egyptian history is a long and storied history and Mina was able to give clear and comprehensive insight into various historical facts. Would highly recommend this tour and also recommend the 7am timeslot to enjoy a less crowded experience!
Mina was an excellent guide and Adel was the best driver. We had such an amazing time visiting Giza and all of the sights here. We opted for the full all-inclusive package which included admission to the grounds, in to a pyramid, a camel ride, luxurious lunch, and very clean and cool transportation between all the sights. Mina was so knowledgeable and did a great job helping us learn about the history of each site and how/why they were built. I learned so much. It was a seamless experience with Mina and Adel nobody hassled us and we were treated like VIPs at every step. Absolutely Recommend!

My family and I had the opportunity to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum during our trip to Cairo. The tour of the museum provided by our guide Ayoub was phenomenal. He explained the history of the museum and pointed out the architectural highlights of the museum. Although the museum is not fully open, I believe the museum is a must visit during any trip to Cairo. The colossal statue of Ramses is just amazing. Then there is a long staircase with countless artifacts displayed in a way that only the Egyptians could do. Our guide Ayoub explained the history of all the pieces to us. We were also able to get amazing photographs thanks to Ayoub. Our package included lunch at the museum overlooking the grand staircase. Surprisingly lunch was at Zooba and Zooba served my favorite food in the world. The falafel and accompaniments were so delicious I cannot describe in words. For any falafel lover you must add Zooba lunch to your tour. On my opinion this is a must do tour while in Cairo. If you are lucky enough to have Ayoub as your guide you will have the time of your life.
After some last minute changes, we booked a tour. Got a ride from our hotel to the pyramids and the sphinx and back again. The driver took a very scenic rute and our tour guide, Khalefa, had an amazing knowledge of all the dynasties and ancient Egyptian history. And if you ask for mango juice, he knows a great location for a great price. I am differently recommending him to all my friends and family if they ever visit Egypt.
This was our second time being lucky enough to be taken out by Ayoub (tour guide) and Adil (driver) who hosted our amazing tour today, and we could not have been happier. Mina was a great tour guide to take us through the museum of civilization and the grand bazaar during our afternoon layover in Cairo! Everything was arranged through Star of Egypt tours and was very professional and informative. We normally aren't the kind of people to take tours but Mina added a lot of context to the artifacts and exhibits in the museum of civilization and really helped enrich the short time we had to visit. Next time we visit, we'll be sure to visit the pyramids too.
