we actually did 2 days with our tour guide Mohamed Salah and with driver Rashdy. 1st day was pyramids -Giza and Saqqara - 11 in total, carpet maker, spice store. second day we visited Cairo Bazaar and the Grand Egyptian Museum . Amazing! food was fabulous at lunch both days. this was great and well organized by Mohamed and Memphis tours. Rashady was a master driver and Mo was amazing in his knowledge.

Memphis tours along with Sahara tours are the best companies we have dealt with. They gave over and above what we expected, everything being a five star experience. This was a dream trip of a lifetime and Memphis was so spectacular in every way. My wife and I booked a private “luxury” tour with Memphis, which included Pyramids, museums, 4 day Nile cruise with Sonesta St George, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, and we also added on Alexandria day trip. In addition we did a 5 day Jordan tour through Memphis and its partner company. From the first steps of planning the trip with Marwa via email (who was wonderful) and our arrival in Cairo we knew we made a good choice with Memphis. Our tour manager Monica met us and was so kind and helpful bringing us through the arrival process and prepared us for the itinerary. Monica and all the other tour managers were amazing and always available for any needs/support throughout the trip. All our drivers and guides/egyptologist were excellent. Our guide Yasser was particularly incredible that we had for 4 day Nile cruise/Luxor/Aswan. This was a big trip for my wife and I and a long time dream, so investing into a company is a big step and we were more satisfied than ever expected. The company was very helpful to provide some customizations to the main itinerary and went out of it’s way to always make sure we were having the dream trip we hoped for. Our tour was customized, we decided to visit Egypt and Jordan and the places of interest in each country. Memphis Tours organized all, very detailed and procuring 4 and 5 stars hotels only. We had the time of our lives, my dream to visit Egypt came true and my wife and I got to admire this beautiful country, its pyramids, the GEM, temples: Philae, Kom Ombo, Karnak, Luxor, Hapshetsup, Valley of the Kings, the Nile cruise, unforgettable experience!!! And at the end a pause of history a resort in Hurghada on the Red Sea. Jordan surprised us, very beautiful country as well and so many places to visit and of course Petra which is breathtaking, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, Mont Nebo, Jesus baptize place, etc. We couldn't asked for better guides, we had the best: Farouk (Cairo), Mohamed (Nile cruise and Luxor), Oday in Jordan, very knowledgeable and professionals, Farouk is even a University professor in Cairo. Memphis Tours deserves a 5 star, we never were left alone and they secured our transportation and accommodations the whole time.

He brought the history of Egypt to life. You will be lucky to have Hassan Saadi as your tour leader in Egypt. In Cairo, Ahmed Zaki took care of us. He is a veteran Egyptologist, specialized in pyramids constructions. At Giza and Saqqara, he expertly explained how they were made, provided great advice for navigating local vendors, and thoughtfully accommodated our physical limitations. We loved exploring the GEM Museum, Old Cairo, going inside the Step Pyramid, and Alexandria. We will miss our daily Turkish coffee stops, fabulous restaurants views and his generosity to poor people and those serving the public! Special kudos also to Mustafa Rafat, a wonderful young man who took fantastic care of us throughout our journey, helped getting our visas and arriving to the airports and hotels. Also, to Ahmed Hussen, our polite driver in Cairo, who was so skilled at navigating busy city traffic and highways wherever we went. Lastly, our thanks to Hytham Hesham, who, with his extreme patience, put together the tour schedule we wanted and accommodated our needs. Memphis Tours delivered the experience of a lifetime. This is the second time I’ve booked with Memphis Tour, and everything was perfect. My husband and I booked direct with Memphis Tours and booked the “Pyramids & Nile by Air” tour! It was absolutely amazing! We cannot recommend this company or tour enough! Everything was so fabulous. They are well organized, efficient, knowledgeable, and the communication is great! Our consultant was Ahmed Fathy. Our tour managers were Amgad Fawzy, Mohamed (Medo) Ahmed, and Abdelrahman Mohammed Taie. Our drivers were Mahmoud Ramadan (Cairo), Khamis (Aswan), and Mohamed Ibrahim (Luxor). We had a great time visiting Egypt with Memphis Tours! Monica, our tour coordinator, was fabulous and would bend over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. Tarek, our guide, was so knowledgeable and provided detailed history at every stop. This was our first time visiting Egypt and we couldn't have been in better hands.

We were in Egypt for 8 days and did 1-2 tours a day with Memphis every day. The guides were excellent for the most part. very knowledgeable. It just got annoying when they basically started demanding X amount of tips, again this was only 1-2 guides but the the tour company itself. We were tipping very generously in USD to begin with especially compared to everyone else who was on the tours with us. The highlight of our trip was a photo shoot at the pyramids. This was for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. the photographer did a great job. this was on day 1 and we were promised our photos (digital) and an album within 2-3 days. after day 4 we asked about it and were told the album was being made and it would be just another day. we still had a few days so we weren't too worried. the next day we were told it was finished and would be delivered. every day after that it was harder to reach the person who was in charge of our trip, it got to a point where we thought we were just going to be ghosted because we wouldn't hear back from them for the entire day when before this they would respond within minutes. They assured us that they just had to deliver it to us but always had an excuse for why it was not delivered. our last day of the trip we were told it would be at the hotel when we arrived, it was not. the following day the driver showed up and told us they were on the way to the hotel with our album. we waited out by the street for about 10 minutes and they never showed up. we were told by the driver and guide that we had to leave for the airport otherwise we would risk missing our flight. At this point the company was not answering our calls for the driver/guide. when we arrived to the airport they once again told us that the person would meet us there. this also never happened and we had to board our flight with a promise that they would ship it to us. at this point we demanded that they send us a digital copy before we leave. they sent a link to the guide that dropped us off and he forwarded it to us. this guide was extremely helpful in this situation, which had absolutely nothing to do with him in the first place. fast forward a few weeks, they tell us its been shipped but provide no shipping info. i keep demanding tracking info and they finally provide it. when the album arrived it was heavily damaged as it was only packaged in a plastic bag that the post office provides, no cardboard NO type of protection whatsoever. i send pics to Memphis and was told i would have to take it up with Egypt Post. after day 5 and especially the final day i could tell it was just lie after lie about our pictures/album. Just before we checked into our flight they told us that the driver was involved in an accident. After days of lies I had no reason to believe this was the truth. The majority of the trip was amazing as were most of the guides but this was a horrible way to end our trip.

The cruise on the Nile was excellent. The boat was very nice and very comfortable. The hotel in Cairo was wonderful. The tour guides made every temple, ruin, pyramid, museum a wonderful experience. The information given, explanations of what we were seeing were very thorough and helpful. The tour guides were fantastic! The entire experience was much more than I ever expected it would or could be. I would highly recommend the Egypt Tour to everyone.

Choose Memphis tours, Ahmed Rabie is the best tour manager. His team was excellent and very courteous and prompt. They hire the best local guides and we saw the pyramids, grand Egyptian museum,Karnak, abu Simbel and so much more.

I did a custom week long solo tour through Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor and it was great. Everything went shockingly smooth from airport pickups, meeting with guides, and doing other various activities. Their communication was really good and i never felt confused on where to be or when to be there. My guides were amazing, particularly Amin in Cairo and shaimaa Baheeg in Luxor. They were passionate about their jobs and also gave me the freedom to do what I wanted, not following a particular script. I would recommend this agency if you’re going to Egypt and don’t know where to start. My only negative was Aswan. It added a 3 hour drive from Aswan to Luxor and I don’t think it was worth it since I was only in Aswan for a day. Aswan would definitely be worth it, but you’ll want to spend at least a few days there since some of the sights are a decent drive away from the city which I didn’t have time for.

We have been looked after by Memphis Tours throughout our travels in Egypt. Osama was our vontact and support on Dahab and wS excellent. Ee had a few issues with the hotel which he followed up. In Sinai we had a fabulous time in Dahab and visiting St Catherines monastery. The highlight was the night hike up Mount Sinai to watch the sunrise.

Mohamed Elkoumi is excellent tour guide. His English is very good and is extremely knowledgeable and patient. It was a pleasure have him as out guide.

Fantastic tour of the pyramids arranged by Memphis Tour. We had a private Egyptologist Reem who was outstanding. Reem taught us everything about Egyptian history and found a wonderful restaurant for lunch. She was so knowledgeable and also took fantastic pictures for us. Our driver Walid was also amazing. Ahmed Helal our tourist guide was very informative and also spoke very good English, he helped with our lady who was disabled ensuring her safety was foremost at all times. I would recommend him for your tourist guide as he could not do enough to help us. Also Moosah the driver was very helpful too, would not hesitate to use them again.

My 13 year son and I just returned from a 12 day tour of Egypt. We used Memphis tours as our tour company. This was the best decision. I had them do everything. They have excellent customer service. I told them what I wanted to do and see and they took care of everything. This included flight( international and domestic) and hotel. Just let them know the level of accommodations you were interested in. Keep in mind a three star rated hotel over there I would rate it an 4 or 5 star. They were extremely nice. Once we landed in Egypt we met Kero, the tour coordinator and Saeed, our driver.From that point we were treated like royalty. Everything went smooth. The tours, transportation, entry fees/ tickets you name it were all well coordinated . Our tour guides, shout out to Kiki, and professor Osama, were phenomenal. I have to make a special mention to Mohamed Emam. Mohamed was our tour guide for the Nile Cruise, temples and Valley of the Kings and Nubian village. Talk about limitless knowledge of this historical period and people. He broke it down so we could understand. We had six in our group. We were all so impressed with him. I highly recommend him. Last but not least. During our domestic flight to Sharm El Sheikh, the airline lost one of our luggage. I didn’t even have to worry. Kero and his team, in particular Ahmed, took care of everything. Ahmed picked up the luggage at the airport and delivered it to the hotel the next morning. Talk about service. I was so impressed. This is the tour company to use.fyi we went in June. June happens to be they’re slow season. No crowds. so we got to do a lot of things and avoided the long lines. something to keep in mind

We spent 3 days with our guide Ahmed Ramadan visiting the Giza pyramids, Sakkara and Daschur as well as the GEM and the Egyptian Museum. That all these places are absolutely spectacular goes without saying. Ahmed always brought the little extra to the table: his background information and explanations were really helpful and based on a deep knowledge of Egyptian mythology and culture. Memphis Tours was absolutely amazing from start to finish. My husband and I worked with Abdo, Fathi, Mohamed & Karam. Our tour guide Karam was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and safe throughout our whole tour. The sites, restaurants, and souvenirs shops were clean and outstanding. We will be recommending Memphis Tours to anyone we know that will be visiting Egypt. The only recommendation I have for Memphis tours is for them to let us know in advance the souvenir shops we would be visiting so I could do my research before hand and plan out souvenirs I would like to bring back with me for friends and family. We visited an essential oil shop one day, I purchased a bottle of my favorite oil and after doing my research and comparing prices back home, I now wished I could of purchased more for my family. It was a great adventure visiting Egypt covering Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and the Nile Cruise. Weather was really good all last week of December through the trip. Memphis Tours was recommended by friends and they made this trip really comfortable and planned it to fit our schedule. All the tour guides (Mr. Amro in Cairo, Mr. Zakaria in Abu Simbel) did an amazing job, special thanks to Mr. Azab who was our guide on the Cruise Ship tours. He was very helpful throughout our cruise would let us know ahead of time on the next day plan make sure we have all information on the historic site we are visiting or the shopping options we had in exploring the history of this beautiful country. All the guides were walking in steps with us sharing the historical facts and the significance of each part of the amazing places we were visiting through this tour. We took the balloon ride as well in Luxor totally worth it.

I was in touch with maged to organise the trip since July . He did a great job organising. We saw Pyramids of giza, egyptian museum, alexandria and sacara along with fayoum. Overall we got a great tour of egypt. The tour guides Imad and Ahmed were great in organising as we're the drivers Reda and Ahmed who did the driving and heavy lifting. We had Mohammed who was our case officer and a big help in case we needed anything along the way. Would definitely recommend them going forward but the operators made our trip seamless and hassle free

The places and the food was amazing, the guides (Azab and Mustafa) were very interactive and made it interesting. The only problems was the schedule was messed up because of a few people delaying the cruise from leaving and hurrying the temple visits during the cruise. This led to us not being able to take proper photos and understand about the temples. Overall was a good experience.

An excellent experience with Memphis Tours right from the time the proposal of the itinerary by Marwa, having the Tour Manager Menna met us at the arrival area & helped us through Visa on Arrival and a fast track service through immigration avoiding the long queue to having the guides, Ahmed at Cairo & Saimaa at Luxor waiting for us us earlier then the appointed times and having a treasure trove of information of the sights. Both guides understood our needs and customised the tours as required. All the drivers were very professional and the transportation was comfortable.

This was our first tour that we were booking with an unknown operator. Reviews looked good and we posted a request for a customised tour of Egypt. Saaima from Memphis was swift to respond and prepared a clear itinerary (they’ll specify the exact hotels and cruise while others will say similar). I later interacted with her manager Toba for further fine tuning. Pricing was more competitive and paying advance through a link was easy. To our surprise we were greeted by one of their agents just as we landed in Cairo. He helped us through immigration and with our bags and escorted us out till the parking. We were greeted by the tour manager Ahmed Khogaly whose team of tour leaders, drivers and guides were to take care of us across Cairo. A special mention for our driver in Cairo Mostafa Mohamed, who was always there before time and went out of the way to help us find a supermarket when we needed. Our guides Magical Ahmed Farahat (Cairo, Sakkara & Alexandria) and Mansour (Aswan & Luxor) were the best we could get. They were jovial, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. A special mention for the trainee Islaam Essam who was so caring and helpful that he almost felt like family. While Ahmed’s witty sense of humour made the trip lively, Mansour’s exhaustive knowledge and intricate explanations blew our mind. Memphis helped us feel safe, secure and took care of every little detail during the entire trip. While I’ve missed out a few other tour leader’s names, I felt they a reliable team that can make your trip a perfect one. We booked several tours with Memphis for our trip to Egypt and they were all great! We are a Peruvian Couple, and first we did the Nile Cruise with the help of Memphis and they gave us a tour guide, Osama, that spoke Spanish and was great. Afterwards, we had an English-speaking tour guide, Mervit (or Mary) and she was amazing! She took us to the Giza Pyramids, Sakkara Tour, and the next day to the Egyptian Museum and the citadel and we had a great time with her. Highly recommended!

The Memphis Tours part of our trip was booked through the company that we are diving with in the Red Sea. At first we thought it was a US based company not realising that the name Memphis is originally Egyptian. The service by Memphis Tours was flawless, punctual and informative. We are all seasoned travellers with plenty of experience to judge. It started at the airport with Amgad Fawzy meeting up at the airport gate and making immigration clearance quick and easy. Straight to our hotel which was the Pyramids Resort by Jazz which was an inspired choice both in quality and location. He got us into our room early. This was most welcome after flying 24 hours from Australia. Memphis had the three of us on a private two day tour of the Pyramids and Citadel of Saladin. Our guide was Tarek Rady who had a great command of English and an encyclopaedic knowledge of ancient Egypt, plus he had a great sense of humour. Both days went like clockwork. His recommendation of where to have a sail in a Felucca on the Nile, worked out perfectly. Amgad picked us up and took us to the airport for the flight to Hurghada where another member of Memphis Tours picked us up and got us into our rooms straight away, four hour before the official check in. Memphis Tours have been awesome.

If I could give this company a 10 star ⭐️ rating, I absolutely would!!! They went above and beyond to make my trip to Cairo, absolutely fantastic!!! As soon as I walked off the plane, Mustafa was waiting! I didn’t even have to look around! I got to Cairo at 1:30pm. I was planning to just go to the hotel and sit and relax until the actual tours started the next day. On the way to the amazing hotel, Mustafa asked if I’d like to do something that night instead! I was down! He personally took me on a felucca ride, To the Cairo tower, to eat and to walk around and visit coffee shops! The next day, I started my tours. Ahmed Zaki, the Egyptologist went above the call of duty! He made sure I didn’t miss out on anything!!! He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and was eager to share invaluable information!he never rushed me and never made me feel stupid when I’d ask question after question! Also, he made sure I got photos of a life time! When we went shopping to the bazaar the next day, he would intercept to make sure I got what I wanted and at a great deal! Also. Speaking about above and beyond, he would stop and make me drink water because I was so excited, I’d forget! I can’t say enough good things about him! Reda, the driver! Outstanding! Very safe and very accommodating!! He went out of his way to make sure he had an ice cold bottle of water before every tour and he’d be waiting to open the door for me and hand me another ice Cold bottle of water on my rerun! The transport vehicle was great! It had amazing AC and curtains! Walid, the Egyptologist trainee who accompanied us was superb! He spoke great English and was very friendly and helpful! He took me to the light show at the pyramids the night before I left. He made sure I got a great seat, a beverage and that I was enjoying myself! I had him for three of the four days! Also, above and beyond the call of duty!! All in all, i couldn’t be HAPPIER with my treatment and tour. For the price you pay, you’re treated like royalty at an affordable price! I was never once afraid or uncomfortable! The second we all became acquainted, we became like old friends! We all talked about every topic under the sun and it was never awkward! I will be going again and of course with Memphis and I will request the same people! End note, when they left me at the airport to leave, they kept in touch for the 40+ hours it took me to to get back to Oklahoma to make sure I made it safe and sound!!
