Giza Pyramids & Sphinx Day Trip

My trip to the Pyramids with tour guide Mr. Mohamed was wonderful. The organization was smooth, transportation was comfortable, and the schedule was well planned. I really enjoyed visiting the Pyramids, and the guide made the history easy to understand and very interesting.

I had a horrible experience, the service provider was a No Show. They never honored the deal and did not take my calls, they should be removed as a service provider.

Seeing the Pyramids & Sphinx and hearing the story behind them, as planned this was the highlight of our trip to Cairo.

My mom and I booked a two days tour. Mido is an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. He was very pleasant and provided information about each site as well as add on options for each site. He made sure we were comfortable and took amazing photos. The tour was great. My mom and I enjoyed seeing the pyramids and sphinx in Giza as well as the sites in Memphis and Cairo. Tour was well planned and driver and tour guide arrived on time for tour days as well as transportation to and from airport. Mido made us feel like family rather than tourists and it made the tour more special because it was like visiting family members and them giving you a tour of the city. I would recommend this tour for one day or multiple days.

I booked a day trip on my first visit to Egypt. I was welcomed at airport by Mido and out sincere and very kind driver who also helped me with my luggage. They had cold bottles of water to beat the hot Cairo heat. The first stop was the national museum of Egyptian civilization which was a great first stop to get familiar with the history. I was then hungry and wanted to try the National dish of Egypt we proceeded to go to a nice local hangout to try Koshary I went a bit too hard on the Chilli I need some water. Mido took me to have Turkish coffee and a local hangout. I am so happy Mido was my guide as he took the most picturistique pictures that I only see on Pinterest and Instagram of me at the Pyramids. He is well breed on the history and I leave the country with so much knowledge of the people, good and culture. We also saw the Spinx and the temple all in a day. Thank you Mido and I will recommend you all to book tours with him.

I had a wonderful time on my tour with Mido and Sherif! Sherif is a wonderful driver and always waited patiently as I took pictures and lingered during site visits. Mido was so knowledgeable about Egyptian history and he always drew connections between different archeological places to make it into one coherent story. Also, I cannot speak highly enough of his photography skills!!! He knows the best picture spots at the pyramids and gets social media worthy shots! From opening the door for me each time I got in the car to keeping me hydrated throughout the trip, this pair was phenomenal to have.

The trip was special, we enjoyed it very much, and the tour guide, Mr. Mohamed, was able to explain the historical events with distinction.

My last tour was with "Visitors Egypt Tours" We done a Full-Day Tour at The Egyptian Museum & Citadel & Old Coptic Cairo. It has been THE BEST tour during my stay. Mido has been excellent, knowledgeable, funny and patient. If you ever decide to book with "Visitors Egypt Tours" I strongly suggest you request for Mido.

Visitors Egypt Tours was a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating, as we were very jet lagged and need a bit more rest than we had planned. They allowed to change start times easily through WhatsApp and when on the tour were very responsive to our needs. Every site was easily navigated due to their inside knowledge and community buy in. Mido our guide was very kind, knowledgeable, and caring. We also did not go to a site where he wasn’t met with smiles and handshakes by his peers. A true gentleman. We even had a little trip and fall which resulted in some scraps and bruises and he and Sharif, our driver, were very attentive and supportive during a minor emergency. We were very grateful. Sharif was an excellent driver and a very kind and courteous man.

The views were amazing and our tour guide took amazing pictures of us. He was really nice and took us to nice places and made sure we saw all the great sights. I’d recommend this tour to anyone!

The experience was amazing. Mido, the guide, was very friendly and flexible, we changed a lot our plans and the schedule, but he managed to acomplish all our requests. He also took for us amazing photos. All the time we felt safe having him on our side.

It was a delightful adventure. Mido , the guide, is friendly and well educated about the history of the pyramids and the pharos. Safety: I felt safe - Mido picked us up from the hotel in a clean car, took us to the pyramids, and then back to the hotel. Overall, I would recommend people to try this adventure! I cannot thank our private guide, Mido, enough for providing us with an unforgettable experience at the Pyramids. Mido’s punctuality, knowledge, and entertaining nature made the visit truly exceptional. Not only did he engage my 9-year-old daughter throughout the tour, but he also shared fascinating insights about ancient Egypt, assisted me with a forgotten hat, and arranged a safe camel ride. He also amazed us with his photography skills, capturing breathtaking moments at the most picturesque spots. I highly recommend Mido for an unforgettable and truly exceptional experience.

Mido, our Egyptologist guide, gave us a lot of information about ancient Egypt and the pharaohs. We went by car at the Giza plateau, because the area is big and the temperature is very high. The car with air-conditioning was great to cool off. That's why Mido explained most about the piramids in the car. We went inside the pyramid (buy extra ticket) and did a camel ride to the view point. We loved it and recommend adding these 2 to the tour. Mido took really great pictures and video's (like a photographer). We had a great time and enjoyed it very much. The tour included a stop at the papyrus shop (only 5 minutes drive) which was interesting as well. We enjoyed the tour and we highly recommend it.

We had a great tour with Egyptologist Mido. He explained about the concept of the old Egypt and farao's. It was very interesting and he knows a lot about the history of Egypt. We went by car to the pyramids (nice with airco, so we could cool down because it was hot!) and Mido took great pictures. He arranged a camel ride to the view point and we went to the Sfinx and temple. Next stop was the papyrus shop which was interesting. We had a great time with Mido and we will recommend his tour!

Easily are favorite tour during our stay in Egypt! If only all tour guides could be like Mido and all drivers be like Sharif! We went on this tour on our first day in Egypt. Mido and Sharif promptly picked us up at our hotel at 8 am. From there we went to the Pyramids. We enjoyed amazing views while Mido explained their history and entertained our daughter. Mido acted as our private photographer, getting all our good angles. We added a camel ride to our trip which cost 500 EGP each. We also had the option of going into the Pyramids, or going on a horse and cart but my daughter was desperate to ride a camel. The camel ride was a little shaky but we got amazing views. Next, we went to a Papyrus shop where they taught us the ancient art of papyrus making in Egypt, we bought a few pictures and had our daughter's name written in hieroglyphics on one of them. We then had a choice of 2 museums, the Egyptian Museum or the Civilization Museum, we chose the latter. We also had the choice of visiting an aromatherapy clinic/shop, however by this point, our daughter was very tired! In all, the trip was amazing, and it was a great way to start our Egyptian holiday. Mido was very attentive, making sure to stop off regularly for drinks and checking we were okay. Noticing our daughter was getting a bit hot, he also bought her an ice lolly. We will miss Mido and Sharif very much and would recommend them to anyone, especially with young children.

Easily my favourite guided tour in Egypt. Mido picked e up earlier than requested and was with me all the way through. He provided enough explanation and allowed me to develop the understanding of the history behind Egypt as I delve into more questions. He was not only passionate but also very friendly with his time and knowledge. Thank you Mido! I'll also add that Mido knows how to take some solid photos. In the case that you don't have one, he'll easily be able to take photos as you need. Knowledge, passionate and strong photographer with an easy going driver made my trip around the pyramids to be painless and smooth. Thank you! 🙏

We started the day at 8 o'clock, being promptly picked up in a nice, clean, air conditioned car. We then chose an add on of going on a panoramic view on a camel (We could have chosen a horse and cart or, instead, to go into one of the 3 pyramids) the camel ride was great fun, we had photos taken in a great location. Our guide Mido was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and a really good photographer. He went out of his way to do what we wanted.

We, German family of 4, had a great 1 day tour in Cairo with our tour guide Mido and the driver Mohammed. Pickup at 8am at the airport, then trip to Cairo downtown to see Bazar area and old Islamic center including the citadel. We were early, so not many tourists around. Then trip to national museum, very nice local lunch in the tour bus to save time. We went to the pyramids in the afternoon and finished off the trip with an extra camel ride along the pyramids to get to the best photo spots. It was a very pleasant day with Mido and Mohammed. Mido took well care of us, showed us the best spots, as we needed to rush a bit he brought us to the top exhibits in the museum, provided snacks and drinks and also shot many nice family photos. He was always very friendly, transparent and not pushy e.g. regarding potential extra events. Mohammed navigated safely through the Cairo traffic and sent us back to the airport afterwards. We fully recommend the trip with them - you might just consider more than 1 day in Cairo… 😁👍

Our trip with Mido was awesome. He accommodated all our needs, and provided us with alot of useful information regarding the sites we visited and the history of Egypt and the ruling families. Highly recommend him.

We visited Giza pyramids on February 20th 2023. Our guide was Mido - the best guide! He explains history on an easy and entertaining way and remembering "boring" facts with Mido becomes fun and easy! He looked after us (family of 5) very well, we didn't wait in any entrance. He did faboulous family photos of us in front of the pyramids, Sfinga and everywhere we went with him. The tour was very interesting, easy going and fun. And whats most important we felt safe. Mido advised us where to buy or not to buy things. I would recomend this tour and Mido everyone and everytime 😊

Great visit of the pyramids and the Sphinx with Mido. You have a guide and a driver that are taking greak care of you. You can decide what to do and how long you stay at each place. No hidden cost, everything was included. Mido is a great photographer. Very good experience.

We went to Giza today with Mido and we had a great time. He is the most entertaining guide we have had. We had 3 kids with us, smallest 4 yrs and we all had fun. He was easy going, had simple language explaining main facts from Egyptian history, interesting stories. He took a good care of us and made a great photos of pyramids and sphinx. Afterwqrds he took us to a great places like fragrances factory and papirus galery. Had really awesome experience of Egypt.

We loved every minute of our visit to the pyramids and our guide Mido was very knowledgable and answered any questions we had. Great tour guide and very hospitable and the end of the tour he felt like family. Felt very safe and knew all the staff at the pyramids so sailed through the entrance and he sorted out the entrance tickets for us. Thanks again Mido from your Scottish family.

Perfect experience during a long flight connexion in cairo aéroport I could have seen the 3 pyramides and the sphinx plus have had explanations about the history of theses structures It was much better than waiting at the airport

Really enjoyed the trip mido and the driver were such gentlemen. They made us feel like princesses! I felt like I’ve made family with mido. Mido was amazing. Very knowledgeable, makes history easy to remember and enjoyable. An extra bonus he is an Excellent photographer. Truly a man of many talents. We had a beautiful day. Mido was great! guiding all the way and explaining the History and facts of those amazing places in Egypt(The Pyramids, The Sphinx off-course), He knows great spots where He take pics of you that look amazing . Went to the New Museum of Civilization(Ramses II's Mommy is there!!), and showed us some other places around the city, Well I can only say I Highly recommend Him(Mido), this tour and any other tours this company has.

Mido is one of the best tour guides I've ever been with. He was so full of life and made our day even better!! He showed us around and fulfilled all our special requests. The tour itself is very efficient and interesting. We visited the Pyramids, Sphinx, National Egyptian museum and the Citadel. Mido provided us with ample supply of water and snacks to help us along the way. On top of everything, he took some really cool and professional photographs during our tour.
