We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our private tour of the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Our tour guide, Mohamed Sobhy, was fantastic from beginning to end. He was extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history, but what made the experience truly special was the way he explained everything in a simple, interesting, and engaging way. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the sites, take photos, and ask questions. Mohamed was also very professional, friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the day. He made sure everything was well organized and that we were comfortable at every stop. His passion for Egypt and its history was obvious, and it really added to the experience. The Pyramids were breathtaking, and the Grand Egyptian Museum was simply incredible. Having a private guide like Mohamed made it much easier to appreciate both places and understand the stories behind what we were seeing. Highly recommended! He knew everything we needed to know, and never left our side to make sure we were not getting lost in the shuffle. He seemed very well known at each location much brought us so much comfort and ease. Egypt is safe and Mohamed was the best.

We had a wonderful experience exploring the ancient wonders of Cairo and Giza, Our tour opetator Tarek was very helpful customizing a great well detailed itinerary for our trip to Egypt. Also our tour guide Mohamed was very knowledgeable about ancient and modern Egypt, Our driver Alaa was also an expert. We are highly recommend Cairo private tours.

The trip was alot of fun! We enjoyed seeing the GEM, Farha was very knowledgeable sharing the most iconic peices as well as providing in depth stories into the the history behind various peices. She is very knowledgeable and was happy to answer questions. She was more than happy to take pictures of us together as well. We spent some time at a few local shops/factories and felt slightly pressured to buy items, would pass on this aspect in the future. After we went to the pyramids which was such a neat experience. Being able to see the area from multiple points allowed us to appreciate them even more. At the end of our journey the driver took us back to the airport. Traffic was slightly crazy from what we are used to. Nothing at the tours fault, but highly recommend bringing medication/tools for car sickness. We ended up getting into a fender bender amid the traffic and craziness. Overall an amazing tour to see the highlights of Egypt with an excellent guide!

I had an incredible time! Amany is an extremely knowledgeable and kind tour guide who took care of every detail on my short visit. The pyramids were spectacular and met every expectation. We were lucky enough to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum during its first couple of weeks open. Words cannot do it justice. The exhibit of King Tut’s grave goods is the best museum exhibit I’ve ever seen, by far. Amany shared an inexhaustible wealth of knowledge and kept me on track towards the most important items in the vast museum. I would highly recommend Cairo Private Tours, and ask for Amany!

Amazing experience! Tarek and his driver picked us up on time from the cruise terminal in Alexandria. Bonus: He had cold water waiting for us. During the 3 hour drive to Cairo / Giza he explained much about the history of Egypt and current life and culture. He is extremely knowledgeable due to his extensive educational background. He was personable and easy to chat with and ask questions. He was able to adjust itinerary based on our needs (when hungry, want to see a specific place or item, need a break or WC) to cater to our desires for the perfect day. We visited the pyramids of Giza and sphinx, went inside two pyramids, went on a camel ride with great panoramic photos of the entire area, went to the museum to see the mask of king tut and many other treasures…we checked off several bucket list items in one day! Tarek is also street smart. We felt very safe with him navigating through the Cairo chaos. He explained common scams, what to look for, how to negotiate and kept scam artists at bay. He also took great pictures and videos for us to document the day as well….great eye for the perfect shot! Highly recommend Tarek for your tour in either Alexandria and/or Cairo/Giza!

We had the best tour in Egypt. We arrived in Alexandria via Cruise Port and were able to see all the sights in Cairo with our tour guide. Tarek our tour guide was very professional, educated and I highly recommend.

Doba was an excellent guide. The experience was great for the whole family (adults and kids). It was specially very convenient to have a car to drive us until the entrance of the museum, pyramid, and restaurant. Strongly recommend as Cairo driving system is very chaotic, mainly for pedestrians.

My friend and I spent 3 days in Egypt. Salah was our tour guide and Mohammad was our driver for the entire time. Mohammad was very skilled and always on time. With a day to explore Cairo, I decided to book a last minute tour. I took a chance with Cairo Private Tours and had an excellent experience- especially considering I booked at 9am the day of. They went out of their way to find a driver (Magdy) and a guide (Mohamed) quickly! With the help of Magdy and Mohamed, we made the best of the day considering we got a late start (the tour typically starts at 9am). Mohamed ensure we spent the time as I preferred and was very flexible. We spent a few hours at the new Grand Egyptian Museum, then hopped over the Great Pyramids of Giza, had a quick tour of the Sphinx, stopped by a papyrus paper demo/art shop (I had to get a few pieces), and finally had a quick bite to eat! Mohamed made the day fun (even tho I was a bit jet lagged) as he was friendly, funny, and personable. His english was excellent and most importantly, he is extremely knowledgeable! I love history and he was able to answer all my questions on the fly! I can’t recommend Mohamed and Cairo Private Tours enough.

Mahmoud Khalefa was a great tour guide who showed us everything and gave very interesting facts about the history of Egypt! Khalefa is by far one of the best photographers in Egypt and we shall always cherish these memories.

We had the pleasure of spending the day on a private tour with Sala! We were picked up at our hotel and learned about the sites both on the car rides and at the sites. Lunch was included- we went to a buffet style restaurant with many food options. It was nice to have your guide so that you weren’t overcharged for souvenirs/entrances included/ nice & friendly camel ride tour guide as well. We were only in Cairo for 3 days so I highly recommend to take this tour to see many sites in one day.

We spent a whole day with Salah whose incredible knowledge brought the history of the Giza pyramids to life - we learned so much more than we expected giving us a greater understanding and it made our experience way more enjoyable. Having the private van meant we could move between the pyramids with ease and allowed us to see so much and get away from the busy tourist areas. Once at the Egyptian Museum Salah then wove the many exhibits into what we’d seen at Giza making everything really interesting. The old town and bazar was a great experience too. If you have limited time in Cairo this tour is perfect which we highly recommend.

After waiting 25 years I finally made the trip to Egypt with my family and I must say this had been one of the best. The highlight other than the amazing sites was definitely our super tour guide / photographer/ Egyptologist / security / bargain hunter / negotiator and most importantly my new brother from another mother @ Khalefa.. He made our trip so enjoyable and informative and showed us professionalism, patience and love that was unlike anything our family ever had. He took the most amazing photos which are our memories to cherish for a lifetime. We did Cairo , Pyramids, Museums , Mummies, day trip to Alexandria , Hot air balloon in Luxor, cruise along the Nile and ending in Aswan. Tarek is the guy you are looking for! sure there are many guides around, but he is pleased to help you with everything. We always felt secure and well with him and his crew. He organized all our transfers (Cairo Airport --> Hotel and back, Hurghada Airport --> Hotel and back). We made the Pyramides. Museum and Luxor tour. There is no issue with the time. You are able to start whenever you want. To always be connected, we needed a sim card, but we arrived late night at the airport, so his crew delivered this to us at night (3am). Already on the Airport he supported us with a guy that helped us out with the language and the visa. We are used to travel and to do much on our own, but we wanted to be sure in Egypt. All the pickups were well coordinated. The guides and drivers were cool guys. The privat bus was pretty new (MY23) and the food was very good. There is always fresh water in the car. all in all i think i have found a new "guy" in Egypt. Tarek will always be the guy i will reccomend to anynone going to egypt. thanks again for everything, we had an amazing time in egypt.

We started off with a tour of the pyramids followed by a camel ride, taking us to the view point. Then we went to see a local perfume shop, the papyrus factory and a spice shop. We ended the tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum and a traditional dinner. Our tour guide Khalefa was very warm and welcoming, making us feel as part of his family. Five stars to the Man!

An amazing day with a very knowledgeable guide. We had young children and the private tour was very flexible to our needs and adapted the tour accordingly. Seeing the mummies at the Civilization museum was a highlight.
