⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Excellent service and a wonderful driver!** We had a fantastic experience with Emo Tours Egypt on October 17, 2026! We booked a private minivan for five people at very short notice, and they responded immediately and arranged everything quickly. The vehicle was modern, spotless and very comfortable, and the price was extremely reasonable. Our driver, Ahmed, arrived exactly on time at 11:00 a.m. and took us to Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. He was absolutely lovely — friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the day. He even bought us water and was especially kind to my husband, who has mobility difficulties, helping him get in and out of the vehicle and assisting him when walking. We never felt rushed, even though the trip lasted longer than the originally planned six hours. Excellent value for money and wonderful service from beginning to end. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour. We had a fantastic day with a knowledge guide being shown the pyramids of Sakkara and Dahshur. Although we booked the group tour there were only 3 participants. The tour was well paced and the sites were not crowded at all. The guide also took some great photos for us.

Communication prior to the trip was non existing and I had to message them on WhatsApp and TripAdvisor to get confirmation. Driver was 10 min late at pick up point and still pressure for more tips at the end (already tip him 100 egp per person). Guide was good but rushing us a bit. No time for lunch so everyone was starving at the end.

A good tour of the dashur, Memphis and Saqara sites. Sayed and Esmal were good tour hosts - punctual, friendly and with good knowledge of the sites. Sayed recommended fantastic options to go inside tombs and pyramids for no extra charge. If you pick the option with tickets included the experience is smooth and the sites themselves are awesome and definitely worth seeing. Would recommend this tour - we were lucky and it was just the two of us which meant it felt like a private and personal experience.

I had an incredible day exploring Dashur, Memphis, and Sakkara with Emo Tours. My guide Sayed Mahmoud and driver Ibrahim Abido picked me up right on time from my hotel in the morning. Ibrahim was an exceptional driver — smooth, safe, and professional. I was really tired, but his driving was so comfortable that I could actually sleep peacefully on the way to Dashur. Sayed had amazing energy from the start and kept my spirits up throughout the day. He’s not just a guide — he’s a natural storyteller with deep knowledge and experience. Every question I asked, he answered thoroughly and passionately. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to connect with him — our conversation felt effortless and genuine. I could tell him what I was interested in seeing (and what I wasn’t), and he adapted the tour perfectly to my preferences. In Sakkara, we also stopped by a carpet workshop, where a lovely guide explained the craft in both English and French. She was super engaging and, honestly, a great salesperson too! Be prepared to walk inside pyramids, very difficult but well worth the experience. You see another side of Egypt leaving the city of Cairo and travelling to Giza and Memphis

I had the best day with Mustafa and Daniel. I got picked up on time and we headed straight away out to Sakkara. Mustafa was really good with his informations about all the sites we visited. He even had more infos about other sites too. I honestly couldn’t have had a better time! They made sure I had all I needed (water, food) and the whole day was well planned. As a woman solo traveller, I felt really safe too. Highly recommend!

The guide didn't understand English well and spoke English with a heavy accent. He read his explanations from his mobile. We visited a carpet factory, souvenir shop and papyrus shop. Good lunch!

You should book this tour. It is laid back and knowledgable. With plenty hidden gems. Sayed mahmoud, the guide is most womderful, and the driver Mohammad M. Dousnt attempt to kill you with his driving.

Mohammed was our guide through this experience. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and he knows how to convey vast amounts of information in a way that is digestible. He is also personable and taught us a lot about Egyptian culture. I felt Mohammed was the best part of the day - teaching us so much, and feeling like we made a new Egyptian friend too.

Good tour of different types of pyramids compared to Giza pyramids. These pyramids provide a different perspective compared to large pyramids in Giza.

What was a day tour n i thought in a small group turned out to be private with just me. I usually dont enjoy that as attention too concentrated n gratuities a pain. Still the +ve this time is a lady guide. She was very jovial n laughing all the time chatting up a storm with the driver. They played local music loudly without a by your leave. Their seats were pushed back leaving narrow leg room behind but am short so bearable. Guess customer care is more towards pictures taking. Explanation on site was okay.

We visited Saqqarah, Dahschour and Memphis before being transported to the airport. It was a half-day excursion with transport, chauffeur and guide. The tour was enjoyable, well planned and well executed by the team . Our guide, Amira was fantastic. She gave us in-depth explanations on every monument and took her time to thoroughly answer our questions. She also spared us enough time to discover the sites on our own. Amira was very methodical in executing the itinerary. She helped us enjoy our last day in Egypt without stress and catch our flight on time. Our chauffeur, George was also kind and punctual. He helped us taste falafel the Egyptian way as he explained which we found was a pleasant experience.

My guide Sayed Mahmoud was very knowledgeable, he is a good communicator with a good command in English. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the less visited pyramids and tombs outside of Cairo.

Really interesting. Great information given. We thought was even more interesting than the Giza ones... Definately worth going into them, a bit hard inside but do it.. a great day with the help of our great driver Abdullah and our very knowledgeable guide Muhammed.

Brilliant half day tour with our guide Sayed Mahmoud and our driver Amgad. We visited Dahshure first and almost had the whole place to ourselves. Welll worth going in the bent pyramid - better than the Great Pyramid. Then onto Memphis where we learnt more about the history of Ramses II. Last stop was Sakkara. Recommend going into King Teti's tomb - easiest pyramid to access. We had lunch included and went to an amazing barbecue buffet. Must-do!!! All sites very quiet.

I visited Sakura and Dashur and Memphis with guide Sayed Mahmoud and driver Ahmed Amer in March and it was a life’s dream. Sayed was just perfect. He explained everything carefully, was so kind and friendly, and went out of his way to make sure my day was exactly as I wanted. I’ve been all over the world and this was in the top 5 tours I’ve ever taken. You owe this to yourself to see these places, and ask for Sayed. You won’t be disappointed. Ahmed navigated us safely through lots of traffic and was the perfect driver. I won’t ever forget this day and I feel like I’ve met two friends in Egypt. Miya Miya habibi!

We went through everything we had to see in Gizeh today, with our awesome tourguide Sayid Mahmoud! Funny and interesting tour from the beginning too the hotel. 100% recommend this experience! Only negatuve point is that we want to come back now!

This is a real archeological experience and none of that touristy stuff. I felt like I was discovering unknown parts of Egypt for the first time. Our expert guide Habiba Eldaly and our driver Ahmed Mataro know everything about the sites we visited and all the in's and out's of navigating the various cities. We started in Saqqara, the same Saqqara where a new archeological discovery was made and yes, I got to see a live archeological dig in action. But, the adventure hasn't even started yet. We got to see and learn all about the infamous Step Pyramid of Djoser (which pre-date the Pyramids of Giza) and the entire complex of structures. We ventured inside the Pyramid to reveal the most beautiful, pillared hallway and ends at a dramatic, cavernous shaft where you find...you have to see it to believe it. In one of the tombs we enterted within the complex, we were shown many of the hidden secrets that can only be seen in person...it's unlike anything I have ever seen, absolutely breathtaking. Now we are on our way to Dahshor with our expert driver at the helm. We learned all about the many Pyramids here, that pre-date the famous Pyramids of Giza and then ventured inside the Red and the Bent Pyramids. This is where the tour ceases to be a tour and we became the archeologists. I can't say anymore, because words have no meaning for what I experienced. To wrap up the day we headed over to Memphis, again Ahmed made traveling simple and safe...always on time, always courteous. Here we saw some of the largest, most detailed statues I've ever witnessed. Each statue, each carving and every artifact has a story. There's so much to learn and can only be truly understood with a guide like Habiba. Thanks Emo Tours and special thanks to Habiba and Ahmed for making this tour so unique and special.

This tour was not a success. Cairo down town is a congested place and travelling consumes most of the time as Saqara is quite some distance from Cairo. Many good tour operators and better guide as I experienced are not very strict about the total duration, but in our case our guide was dead strict to the time and clearly stated that exceeding the time means extra payment. I must admit that we started some 10 minutes late from the planned time and our guide had to wait. We are really sorry for that but I doubt if that is some reason enough to be hurried all along the tour at every location. We had to visit all places very quickly and finished the tour in time with lot of dissatisfaction. Any one having some interest in ancient civilization should not opt for the tour or must have a clear discussion with the tour operator beforehand about the duration.

Our guide Mohammed was very knowledgeable. He explained the history and described what to note at the various sites in detail. He was even reading out the hieroglyphic script for us and explaining what it meant. Also he allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted at each site. We had a very good time on this tour.

Our guide Essam was fantastic. He provided us with great Egyptian and archeological knowledge about the ancient history, dynasties and Pharaohs. His knowledge of the construction of the various pyramids was exceptional and provided us with the background knowledge of why the various burial site of the pyramids are varied. We explored Saqqara, Memphis and Dashur followed by lunch. Our driver Mohammed was extremely accommodating. I fell ill during the morning and the care and comparison shown by them both was very much appreciated. A wonderful experience, a private tour with the best guide, and the best driver. We visited these unforgettable and magical sites of the ancient Egyptian civilization and enjoyed every moment. Vodic tried his best to explain everything to us, to take us to see everything, without any rush, and of course he took pictures of us, it was not a problem for him. We entered pyramids, tombs, all in all for every recommendation.

Great tour with a very helpful guide. The car picked me up straight from my hotel on time. Very comfortable and air conditioned ride. We saw three sites outside of Cairo and my guide Sayed had loads of great information and insight. Would definitely recommend as it's a good price for everything you get to see and is off the beaten track so fewer crowds. Also some great views of the desert. We were picked up by Mohammed and the driver. Had an enjoyable and memorable time with Mohammed as he filled us with lots of Egypt history along the way. Entered the Step and Bent pyramids (would recommend Bent for more challenging experience), visited the carpet making and papyrus making shops, and had a great local meal. The driver was also really great bringing us around places and was really polite! Felt like we covered a fair bit for a half day tour with them. Would definitely recommend them!

I recommend this trip for anyone interested in Egypt. The privat tour is more expensive than a tour with a group but the quality of the experience is certainly worth it. The driver and Egyptologist were very kind and helpful.

I had a WONDERFUL day a dahshour, Memphis and Saqqara with Sayed Mahmoud and Mohamed Ragab as my guides. They provided an excellent service, picked me up on time, the car was lovely and clean and Mohamed drove us to and from the sites smoothly. Sayed was really knowledgeable in the historical sites (and an excellent photographer as well!!) he was happy and answer all of my questions and allowed me enough time to see everything. He made sure to point out all the amazing details in the tombs. I would book with them again. They always made sure that I was comfortable and enjoying myself! :) and extremely friendly and hospitable. 10/10 trip for me :)
