Egypt was the top place I wanted to visit in the world, and it did not disappoint at all, we were going to go without a guide but through our hotel we got Maryan as a guide to take us through the museum and then the pyramids on a bit of a rushed trip. What an amazing way to end our trip! Had breakfast this morning where we talked about it being more of an experience than breakfast with all of the wonderful flavors. Then a driver picked us up and our private tour guide. The car ride in itself was an adventure! We toured the Egyptian Museum, before being treated to a delicious lunch while sitting along the Nile River. To end our day we visited the great pyramids. We are just in awe!

We've been to Egypt museum and Giza pyramids with our guide Maryam. In the museum Maryam chose the best parts to see and tell about. And in Giza there was some "important" delegation of VIPs but our guide was bravely protecting our interests as tourists to enjoy the pyramids. Maria was a great tour guide for the day. We began with the Cairo museum, on the way there - (we had a separate driver) she explained the history of the Egyptian kingdoms, and went into some detail on specific sites and structures at both th Giza plateau and Saqqara/Memphis/Dashur. Once at the museum, she managed to usher us through the organized chaos at the entry gates, and quickly secure our tickets and get us in the DOOR. Once inside she took us around the museum, pointed out various specific artifacts, and presented both the history and significance of said artifacts. In particular she excelled at highlighting the small details of specific statues and figures, small inscriptions, eye structure, etc. After the museum we stopped for a quick lunch of typical Egyptian food, which was very good and then proceeded to the Giza plateau. Maria has a very good tour system worked out on the plateau: we pulled up to the great pyramid, and she explained the overall history of its construction and other points of historical significance while we still sat in the air conditioning, so we did not have to roast in the Egyptian heat. This process continues through out the plateau. On the plateau, we visited the pyramids up close, the Sphinx, the temple adjacent to the Sphinx whose name I unfortunately forgot at the moment. At each site Maria explained additional information. In addition to all of the above, she knows good photography spots and how to deal with the local security staff and the various tipping culture complications on the Giza plateau. All in all an excellent experience.
Maria was a wonderful tour guide and I would highly recommend her! She took us on a full day tour of the Cairo Museum and the Giza plateau. Her patience and clarity in explaining Ancient Egyptian history was fantastic. Since I was more interested in Ancient Egypt and the ancient Egyptian daily life she made sure to take time in the museum to make sure I got to see those exhibits and artifacts. She made sure we had no issues getting into the museum or into the archaeological park at Giza and made sure we knew all the add-on that we available to us, if we chose to do them. As well as making sure we got wonderful photos and explanations of the monuments. Maria made sure to take us to a restaurant and shops off the beaten tourist track to so that we had the best and most authentic experience we could possibly have, as well as unique locally made products, purchase and enjoy at home! I canβt highly recommend Maria enough if you want to have a truly wonderful experience exploring ancient Egypt!

Maryam and Mohamed were such wonderful tour guides! I called 2 days before I intended to be in Cairo, and Maryam curated a perfect tour to accommodate a very early morning arrival at CAI and a same-day return that afternoon. We saw some many sights, she relayed so much history, and I never felt rushed. In 9 hours I was given transport to and from the airport, crawled through the Great Pyramid, rode a camel, saw the Sphinx, had a delicious lunch, and went to the museum. Maryam was our tour guide today. She was very thoughtful straight away and gave us the chance to stay out of the hot summer sun and stay in cool places as much as possible. Her knowledge off modern AND Ancient Egypt was phenomenal. There was no question she didnβt know the answer to and we had lots of great discussions as a result of questions we asked. I would describe her as a good, kind intellectual. We tasted authentic Egyptian food and even got the whole story behind the restaurant, we visited the parfumerie, the pyramids, camels and museum. Each was planned for our maximum Egyptian experience and with our timetable to get to the airport in mind. We were very lucky to get her as our guide and cannot recommend her enough.
This was an amazing tour, not only did we get to see everything and learn a lot and eat an incredible lunch but we saved so much time that would have been wasted in lines. Our guide Maryam was the best and really knew all the best tricks to get the most out of this tour! Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and fun, she also really made us feel welcomed! We were picked up in the morning by car and had a quick stop for breakfast at a street-food place with excellent Falafel. At the spectacular Great Pyramids, our guide Maryam not only proved excellent knowledge about the history of the Pyramids and ancient Egypt knowledge but also knew the best spots for the obligatory photos, but as a Giza local, she could also get us where you'd normally not find yourself as a "standard" foreign tourist. A nice walk through the streets around Khal El Khalili then was followed by a fantastic visit of the Egyptian Museum where Myriam had lots of stories to tell, including extensive hieroglyphic knowledge. Very impressive and a must see. Following our wish to have lunch not to early, we concluded the day with a very delicious Egyptian feist and some nice spinning at a traditional essence maker and Egyptian cotton shop. The full day tour with Maryam was a great experience. We did not have much time in Cairo, so we chose this tour to maximize our time, and Maryam did it very nicely, thoroughly, and explaining everything with detail. She collected us at our Airbnb, we did a quick stop for a local breakfast (a delicious falafel), and our first stop was by the pyramids. There is a lot to learn about these wonders of the world, and I assure you Maryam has the knowledge to answer all your questions. That is not all, she is also a great photographer. If you, like me, is an anonymous person at the internet, I bet you will want to become an influencer after she takes pictures of you. After the pyramids, we went to the Museum, and again, there is also here a lot of information. So, listen and learn. The museum has a great collection, and we could have spent days, even months or years to look at everything. Maryam took the best of it, and made quick masterclass in Egyptology, if I can summarize like this. At the end we were of course starving, and she took us to this delicious local restaurant. We tried all, and forgive me, Maryam, if I don't remember all the names, but they were all tasty. And quick tip, order the mint lemon juice. It is very refreshing (mainly if you are visiting Cairo in June, July or August). To end the day, we went for what I would call an authentic shopping. We learned about traditionally made, authentic flower essences (pure petal oils), and how papyrus is made. I would highly recommended this tour. And thank you Maryam, not just for your time, but also for your lovely company.

We spent 2 days with Egypt Legends Tours in Cairo. Visited the impressive pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian museum on our first day. Our talented guide Maryam introduced us to the Islamic Quarter of Cairo. The visit was very suggestive because it was in the evening with many people on the street in an atmosphere of joy and celebration. The tour also included a visit to the spectacular pyramids of Giza that Maryam explained to us with great competence and professionalism.
