Khaled_tour_guide Osama was the subcontracted tour guide for this 9-330 tour where we visited pyramid area with camel ride, papyrus/perfume stop and original egypt museum (still open, has mummies, while the big new one is overcrowded with all the Tut artifacts). Nice guy who knows his stuff, perfect English and Spanish, good reference material on his phone, patient driver (traffic in cairo is noisy and an adventure by itself). Plenty of photo ops and customization if you prefer not to enter hot shallow pyramid or reduce shopping component. Make sure you know what is included and what is not so you can budget, especially if there is a low fee special (i had no surprises). Having a tour guide saves you time and you’ll experience less haggling & hustling. Note that admission fees are paid in EGP by card (not cash) to musea.

Itinerary
Begin your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Ensure you are dressed comfortably with proper footwear, as the day will involve quite a bit of walking. It’s also a good idea to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. A bottle of water is essential to stay hydrated throughout the day. Your first stop is the world-renowned Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Giza. As you approach the plateau, the sheer size and grandeur of the pyramids become apparent. Built more than 4,500 years ago, the Giza Pyramids stand as a testament to Egypt’s engineering prowess and the religious beliefs of the ancient pharaohs.
Following lunch, your next stop is the world-famous Egyptian Museum, located in Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo. The museum houses an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, offering a deeper understanding of the culture and history that shaped the civilization. • Key Exhibits: Among the must-see exhibits are the treasures of King Tutankhamun, and the statues and artifacts recovered from the tombs of various pharaohs. • Artifacts of Daily Life: Explore a vast collection of items that showcase the daily lives of ancient Egyptians, from jewelry and pottery to tools and papyrus scrolls. Your guide will highlight the most important exhibits, explaining their historical significance and how they provide insight into the lives of the pharaohs and their subjects.
No visit to Cairo would be complete without experiencing the bustling energy of Khan El Khalili, Cairo's largest and most famous market. Located in the heart of Islamic Cairo, this vibrant bazaar has been a hub of trade and commerce since the 14th century.
The Sphinx - The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.
One of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts, the Egyptian Museum takes pride of place in Downtown Cairo, on the north side of Midan Tahrir. Inside the great domed, oddly pinkish building, the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun and other great pharaohs lie alongside the grave goods, mummies, jewellery, eating bowls and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history.
Midan Tahrir (Liberation Sq) gained world renown in early 2011, when millions of Egyptians converged here to oust then-president Hosni Mubarak. On a regular day, it’s just your average giant roundabout (traffic circle), albeit one where half-a-dozen major arteries converge. The main reason you'll pass through is to visit the powder-pink puffball bulk of the Egyptian Museum.
Established in the 14th century, Khan El-Khalili in Old Cairo has always been an important district for cultural and economic activities. Here is your guide to Khan El-Khalili market and the surrounding area . Tour Finishes with drop off at Customer Hotel in Cairo or Giza

If you’re short on time but want to see the best of Cairo, this is the tour for you. The Giza Pyramids and Sphinx were spectacular, and the Egyptian Museum gave me so much insight into ancient Egypt. Khan El Khalili is bustling and fun.
Today, Mohammed Kamel crafted an unforgettable experience. We started at the vibrant old town Bazaar, enjoying Turkish coffee, before heading to the Egyptian Museum where Mohammed shared his deep knowledge of Egypt's ancient kingdoms. Next, we visited the Pyramids of Giza, taking in stunning views of all nine pyramids and the Sphinx. Lunch at the “9 Pyramids Restaurant” offered a delicious mixed grill, fresh pide bread, and traditional Egyptian dips. A surprise professional photo shoot with Mohammed’s photographer friend made us feel like stars! We ended the day with a relaxing stop at a Shisha Bar and refreshing Hibiscus Tea. Thanks to Mohammed’s flawless planning, there was no waiting in lines, and his driver was both safe and reliable.
We had a great time visiting the pyramids, sphinx and the GEM. Mohamed was very helpful and adapted the tour to our liking.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Wael and our driver. Wael clearly has a passion for ancient Egyptian and was very good at sharing it. He was great with the children and ensured they were having a great time (which is a feat in itself as we were very tired as not slept much the night before). The tour was flexible and good value for money. We were very happy and learnt lots!
This was a wonderful tour to pyramids, museum and bazaar. Our guide Wael was very knowledgeable about ancient Egyptians and had such a passion for sharing it. He was brilliant with children, they really enjoyed learning from him. I would definitely recommend this tour. It was good value for money and as we only had 1 day in Cairo - it really helped is to see everything quickly.

Mohammed Kamel curated an extraordinary experience today. Starting with a visit to the vibrant, fragrant old town Bazaar including a taste of Turkish Coffee. Then a visit to the Egyptian Museum. There is nothing Mohammed doesn’t know about the 3 ancient Egyptian Kingdoms and their culture, traditions and monuments. We then headed for the Pyramids of Giza. A casual walk around them with uninterrupted views of all 9 Pyramids and of course the Sphinx in the foreground. We lunched at the beautiful “9 Pyramids Restaurant” overlooking the Pyramids. There Mohammed organised a delicious Mixed grill with freshly baked pide bread and a mixture of dips and snacks. All traditional delicious dishes, again indulging us in Egypts very best. A big surprise was found whilst visiting the Sphinx, where Mohammed’s ‘Photographer friend’ treated us to a complete very professional photo shoot, making we old people look like superstars!! Big bonus. And finally we had a special treat of a Shisha Bar visit with a taste of delicious Hibiscus Tea! There was never any waiting in queues with Mohammed and his driver was incredible and very safe and reliable. Today’s experience rates as one of the very best in the world. Beyond any expectations. We can not recommend this tour more highly. Thankyou so so much Mohammed of “Nile Navigators”
