I am one of the people who barely writes reviews but I had to write for this company. I am a paranoid person when it comes to trusting people and it’s hard to please me with service but I kid you not this company went above and beyond to make sure we were in good shape. Starting we only had one day and I arrive in Cairo Egypt at 1 am and they were waiting for us outside already. We had a delayed for our bags but they still waited for us. We also booked our hotels in Giza area to save our time as it’s an hour drive from the airport and this company did their very best to drop at the hotel. At 9am sharp as promised the guide and the driver was here to pick us up. The guide was very fluent in English and had great sense of humor. He knew we had one day in which we had to cover pyramids of Giza, camel riding at the pyramids, national museum of civilization, salahuddin ayubi fort and Mohammad Ali mosque, a finest lunch experience, felucca ride at River Nile then going to see Al Azhar mosque and explore khan Al Khalil bazaar where we shopped our souvenirs and then dropping us to the hotel and this was all in one day 12 hours. The guide was very knowledgeable and very respectful. He managed all the attractions so well that we didn’t feel rushed. The car was super clean and they also offered us bottle of waters. Everything I mentioned had our tickets included and the company literally treated us like their own family. I admit that I couldn’t fully enjoy Egypt in a leisurely space but that’s because of short on time on my end. However I believe I will be back and will hire the same people again to explore more of Egypt inshallah including Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan. We plan to come back either this year again. Our travel manager was Zizo and our tour guide was Muhammad Afifi (hands down the best guide ever) and an amazing photographer. He was truly and all rounder. I wish to come back soon and hire him again with the same company inshallah

Pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by tour guide to start your tour . The Giza pyramid complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also includes several cemeteries and the remains of a workers' village.
The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.
Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple.
Khafre's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple and the king's pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Several were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860.
The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human.[1] Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre.[2] Cut from the bedrock, the original shape of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks.[3] It measures 73 m (240 ft) long from paw to tail, 20 m (66 ft) high from the base to the top of the head and 19 m (62 ft) wide at its rear haunches.[4] It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC)
The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, and houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era. The architect of the building was selected through an international competition in 1895, which was the first of its kind, and was won by the French architect, Marcel Dourgnon. The museum was inaugurated in 1902 by Khedive Abbas Helmy II, and has become a historic landmark in downtown Cairo, and home to some of the world’s most magnificent ancient masterpieces.
Khan el-Khalili is a famous bazaar and souq (or souk) in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. Established as a center of trade in the Mamluk era and named for one of its several historic caravanserais, the bazaar district has since become one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is also home to many Egyptian artisans and workshops involved in the production of traditional crafts and souvenirs. Tour Finishes with drop off at Customer Hotel in Cairo or Giza
The Giza Plateau (Arabic: هضبة الجيزة) is a limestone plateau in Giza, Egypt, the site of the Fourth Dynasty Giza pyramid complex, which includes the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers' village and an industrial complex. It forms the northernmost part of the 16,000 ha Pyramid Fields in the Western Desert edge of the Nile Valley that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Memphis and its Necropolis. The plateau is elevated approximately 60 meters above sea-level.

The tour guide (Kareem) and driver (Mohamed) arrived at my hotel promptly at 8am and introduced themselves, before taking us to the pyramids. I won't go into the details of the destination, but it was truly remarkable! After this we proceeded to the Egyptian Museum, where Kareem took us around and showed us some key artifacts. After the museum we went back to our hotel. Mohamed, our driver, was very courteous and was always on time and drove us safely between destinations. There are not many words that explain how amazing Kareem was as our tour guide. He is one of the nicest people you can hope to meet, and his knowledge of the subject matter was incredible, having studied archeology. He showed such a genuine passion for the ancient history of his country and it made our day so truly impressive. He was also patient, attentive and supportive - ensuring we got to just enjoy the day entirely. Thank you SO much Kareem.
booked via WhatsApp, reluctant to make any payment in advance online so agreed a cash payment after the trip. Met straight at arrivals hall in Cairo, straight to the pyramids with a driver and a guide. They want to make the day about you so although they suggested things like camel ride, various view points and some shopping they didn’t push when we said no. Guide happy to talk us through the history at our pace and show us around. Then went on to the Egyptian museum and again talked us through key items to provide history. All entrance fees included (except to actually enter a pyramid that’s an additional few $), lunch was at a local restaurant with traditional food and drop off back at the airport. We finished quite quickly and asked what else there was to do but struggled a little with additional things to do other than shopping. Very happy with the experience and would recommend to anyone who wants to tailor they own Cairo / Giza experience. Not overly expensive in comparison to others, $160 for 2 adults and a 5 year old.
It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Essan was very friendly, polite and made the whole experience memorable. He knew everything about history and he guide us through all the important statues in the museum. We loved the pyramids and the sphinx, we took amazing photos!!
Our driver was professional, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for our guide. His knowledge of most places we visited was equivalent to what you could find on the back of a postcard, but only if you know the exact lineage of pharaohs and time period of each of them. Unfortunately, my knowledge of world events is generally tied to years, which was not helpful in this situation. When we asked probing questions, we generally received dismissive answers. Once at the museum we were asked if “5-10 minutes would be enough” and he was not pleased when we requested an hour and a half. The best part was visiting the local craft (papyrus) and oil shops. I understand that guides generally receive commissions from these stops, but we are traveling for a long period and do not need the extra weight in our bags. We politely partook in the demonstrations but when we did not buy anything, our guide was visibly upset. He did not say a word for approximately an hour after we left these shops. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on a private guided tour. We booked this one due to the high previous ratings so, I assume, we were just unlucky with our guide selection. Unfortunately, this experience essentially ruined Egypt for us. We would have been better off with no guide and Wikipedia than what we had. If it hadn’t been for the driver, who was great, I would have rated this experience 1/5
Tour was given by Ahmed Refaat, due to the long time between arriving and return flight I got a fully packed tour: pyramids, museum, coptic Cairo, bazaar, mosk. Gave interesting information at each location, all the while making sure I wouldn't have to queue. It was a very hot day and Ahmed took care of hydratation every chance we got.
EMO Tours we’re excellent in their service. Our booking agent Zizo and our Tour guide Sameh were both fantastic. Zizo always kept me updated throughout our whole trip and helped me and my family feel comfortable in Egypt. And Sameh our guide was extremely knowledgeable, fun to be around and very considerate guide. He helped us on every tour and made this experience a lot of fun. I would recommend using EMO Tours to see whole of Egypt as they have every tour available in every city in Egypt. And choose Zizo as your booking agent and request Sameh as your guide and you won’t regret it at all. Absolutely the very best!
Sameh was a fantasist tour guide and shared loads of amazing knowledge about Egyptian history, had a wonderful day in Cairo. Would definitely recommend! 🙂
We had a fantastic experience since the very beginning in a private tour with a nice car, great driver and our fantastic guide (and photographer as well), Mohamed Hamed. He lead us to the best spots for photos, explained the history very well and treat us very kindly all the time! It really worth hiring a tour with all inclusive (Transportation, Guide, Tickets, Lunch, etc) because simplify your decisions and you spend your time better.
We booked a private tour and that is the way to go. I have never been to Egypt and I wanted to maximize our time. Nesma and Agmy kept us on schedule and we had a great time! Highly recommended.
Tonsi was an exceptional guide. Highly knowledgeable and let us go at our own pace. Great to have a guide in the bazaar and really helped us with negotiation of the best price. I totally recommend as going around Cairo for the first time can be intimidating Took us arrounf the Museun so we saw all the important things but then gave us ample time to expose on our own. Many thanks for a great day
Thank you so much to Ayman our tour guide, he was brilliant and very informative and made our journey comfortable. The driver was also fantastic and took us around the main sites. Would definitely recommend and book them again.
Emo Tours Egypt is very professional and takes care of us. We had a great time. Ayman was a great guide and we enjoyed going on the tour with him.
My mom and I took a trip all around Egypt in October of 2021. We heard all of the great reviews about Emo Tours so we booked a couple day trips with them. Emo transportation: Every Private tour had a guide and a driver so we never had to worry about parking. It really allowed us to maximize the day. The cars were very comfortable, clean, and a modern vehicle. The first full day we did was to the Giza Pyramids, Egypt Museum and Pyramid of Djoser. Our guide Sayed Mahmoud was the best guide we could have had. His english was great and his history and archaeologic knowledge was unbelievable. Where ever we were driving or touring, he gave some history about it. When we went to the pyramids Sayed took his time to make sure we had great photos to share and made a great effort to give us the best private experience. When we got to the pyramids he purchased our tickets for us and we went on into the site. We walked around and eventually made our way inside. Going up to the top was a tight squeeze but definitely something you should do while you're there. Sayed took us to ride some camels near the pyramids which made for some great photos. He did all of the translating and made sure we were not being taken advantage of financially. We felt safe and he took great care of us. For lunch he took us to a great local restaurant where my mom and I could enjoy some chicken and vegetables. After the Pyramids, we toured the museum. Currently some of the artifacts are being stored at the new museum, so not everything was there, but we were still able to see the artifacts from king tuts tomb. Sayed gave us so much information about all of the special artifacts. He knew which ones were the best and gave us a great tour. Overall, We highly recommend Sayed Mahmoud as a tour guide. English was great, Knowledge was great, and he was just a fun personable guy the entire time. We ended up booking future tours with him as well. Ill share in a separate review in Alexandria. (Library, Citadel, Catacombs)
A day full of different wonderful experiences. Mr. Mamdouh Kamal was very attentive to our needs, also very extensive and knowledgeable in his explanations and guidance through the different experiences … especially during the old museum tour. And also to mention his driver Mr Gouda was very swift and navigated the crazy Cairo traffic very well.
We had 1 day to visit Cairo flying up from Hurghada. We looked for a recommended tour company to give us the day we wanted being specific on the places to visit. We arrived at 6am and were picked up by our taxi and tour guide Sayed Mahmoud . He was very welcoming and friendly. We headed out towards the Pyramids and we stopped for a breakfast experience Egypt style. It was a real treat sampling the local foods. Next stop was the Giza Pyramids, WoW what an experience.. Sayed was exceptional in his knowledge of the history of the Pyramids. He advised we should go inside which of course is definitely worth doing. Sayed took some fantastic photos of us at different places which was a great help. Next stop was the Egyptian museum, Sayed again was exceptional with his in depth knowledge of the items around the museum, he really made visiting the museum so worth it as we learnt so much about history. He again took several photos for us, his photo taking skills are great! After the museum we headed for a local Egyptian lunch, it was a great experience, the restaurant was very Egyptian style, the food very traditional and the people very friendly. The next stop was The National Military Museum, such a beautiful building to see, externally it’s got so much great architecture and inside it’s truly beautiful. Sayed again told us some very interesting facts of history along with more photographs. We then headed to The Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the building is again so beautiful full of amazing architecture and history, it was a real pleasure seeing such great places. From here we headed back to the airport for the 6pm flight, we arrived with perfect timing from our private taxi driver. Overall the was truly amazing, our tour guide Sayed made it outstanding day with his passion for the job, giving us so many fantastic photos and in depth history of the places visited. He came across very professional and very friendly with often making sure we are happy with how the is for us. It was a ‘full packed day’ and we made many great memories that we shall always look back at.. We would definitely recommend Sayed Mahmoud as being a tour guide, he’s definitely one to give you amazing memories. Thank you all involved. PhillSQ Southampton
Fantastic!!! My guide was Ahmed Hamed and he was really great. He gave me a local’s perspective without all of the fakey tour guide stuff. It really just felt like I was spending a day with a friend who was also very knowledgeable! He spend a lot of time explaining the history behind everything in a very clear way but also took time to allow me to explore for a bit alone. He also was a fantastic photographer and made sure I got many amazing shots to take home. My driver was Mostafa Koti who was an expert! He lives near the pyramids so he knew the best routes to avoid traffic. The car was always ready for us as we exited every stop and it was a very nice car. Ahmed was sure to ask me about what I wanted to see most and truly tailored the experience for me. I gained a new friend! Very highly recommended this company and this tour!
Excellent experience. Our tour guide was Ahmed Alsayed, would definitely recommend him to everyone but especially those who love history like myself. He is very knowledgeable, and has both great communication skills as well as storytelling skills. The tour started at the giza pyramids and continued with the museum to end with authentic Egyptian market visit. Ahmed explained everything in great details and gave us tips on how to get the best out of our tour. It's needless to say that the car ride was super comfortable and the vehicle was super clean with a professional driver. All in all this experience was more than worth it. I would do it again myself when I visit Egypt again.
We were collected in private car from our hotel and met by our guide Ahmed and driver Farouk(?). Both followed social distancing and covid safety protocols. Ahmed was very thorough and briefed us on the itinerary and gave us recommendations about the pyramids - we wanted to go into the great pyramids, but on Ahmed’s advice we went inside the pyramid at Sakharra- this was a great choice as they were no tourists, and inside they are inscriptions and the tomb- where as in the great pyramids there isn’t- plus as lot more tourists all vying for space- it looked like covid central! We had a great tour with the team and felt very safe and Farouk acted like our own security making sure we weren’t hassled by the end less hawkers. Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history, his English was excellent and we understood him perfectly. At the end of the tour we had a fantastic lunch (included except drinks) try the fresh mango juice- the Egyptian starters and breads are amazing-( fattoush, houmas, chick peas, falafel (so light) grilled aubergine, tzatziki ) we actually took the mixed grill main course away with us! All in all it was a great tour and the guys were very appreciative to have tourists back in country. If I go back to Egypt I would use Emo Tours and would encourage you to do likewise.
Mohamed El wazir is a great guide, very attentive, helpful and we were delighted with the tour. we learned a lot about egypt and will be back soon.
It was amazing well organised tour, We enjoyed the day accompanied with a lovely and professional tour guide ola. Definitely we will book with emo tour for our next trip to Egypt and I recommend emo for anyone who wants to enjoy Egypt in a safe environment and with a professional guides.
This was our best tour in Egypt. Our guide was Mobamed. He was very respectful, have knowledge of all the places that we went that day and always offered himself to take pictures of us. In addition, the driver was excellent (after we took different tours we understand that in Egypt this turned to be an important thing). Our favorite part of the tour was in the Pyramids. 10 stars to this company and guide team. If you are going to book a tour in Egypt, we fully recommend Emo Tours! Thank you.
We had a 3 day private tour with Emo tours and we did all our booking online and they are really flexible with the booking. It was an excellent experience and we had an amazing, well knowledgeable tour guide Ms Ola who guided us through the history. She also suggested us the best possible itinerary based on our budget and some local hotels to stay centrally where we can really explore the Egyptian culture and cuisine. Our kids Mohammed (7)and Ayat (6)really enjoyed her company. We would really come back to Emo Tours to explore more and more!!!
Very happy to find a guide like Ibrahim Alankily who is extremely knowledgeable around Egyptian history, sharp pick at my hotel and from there he did ensure how to see maximum place, save time and money. Especially my child who is 8 years old liked him a lot with his jokes and story telling mode history explanations . Since we began our tour with this gentleman our entire Egypt trip is soo memorable and special thanks to driver Mohammed who showed us Egyptians National Food khosary, we just loved it.. superb service and I recommend egypt travelers to begin with Pyramid Tours ,then Museum & then travel to Luxor , Aswan and others , so that you can relate the history.
5/16/19 My father and I had an amazing trip with Essam, such that we had to go with him again on his tour of the citadel, Coptic area and qalawun complex. He’s likely the most knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide in the area. His policy is to work with the tourist to really experience the sites at their preference. He seems to be an almost boundless source of history and explains it to you in a way that just hits home. Whether that was explaining each of the pyramids and relevant dynasty’s in context of the dynastic timeline, helping you notice some patterns in hieroglyphics or considering the many different materials that make up the various periods associated with restorations, Essam can’t be beat. All of this praise comes from my heart; this tour, and the way we all learned from each other made my trip to Cairo evermore memorable.
Had a great tour with Mr. Sayed Mahmood and our very safe, reliable driver Mr. Ahmed. Mr. Sayed was very pleasant and ensured that we had a great time and took wonderful pictures. We initially booked for a one day tour to see the Giza pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis, but we had such a lovely time that we booked another tour the next day with Mr. Sayed to see the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel mosques. Our kids (age 8 and 11) had a great time during the trip and felt very safe with Mr. Sayed. We got to experience AWESOME falafel from Felfela restaurant and koshary from Abou Tarek restaurant (YUM). We even got to eat some Toot fruit and drink sugar cane juice (so yummy!). Mr. Sayed also took us to see a papyrus shop, lotus oil shop, carpet shop, and bazaar. We got to see how papyrus paper is made and carpet weaving. Some people in other reviews complained about being brought to these shops but Mr. Sayed didn't force us, he offered the opportunity and let us decide if it was something we were interested in.
My mum and I had an amazing day tour with Essam! He’s very knowledgeable and informative which was superb! He was very attentive and very hospitable and ensured our safety the entire time and he made a great photographer too! Some of our best moments in Cairo were captured by him 😃😃! I would recommend Emo tours to anyone and yes be sure to ask for Essam!
Great tour with Mohammed Moussa - very knowledgable, got us up close and showed us all the good photo spots. All ran very smoothly. Highly recommend.
Mahdy was our guide and gave us a great experience, picking us up from our Giza AirbnB and taking us on an all day tour of the Giza plateau, incuding the great pyramid, the solar boat museum, great sphinx, a short camel ride, a stop by a local cotton factory and carpet making school, buffet lunch, and finally a visit to saquaara, and Memphis. A great guide a willing to answer any questions we had.
Marwan was absolutely incredible! He took us to all the best spots at the pyramids, gave interesting and relevant historical and modern day context (while not talking too much and checking in with the group to see what we wanted to hear more about), and led a great day trip to Alexandria. Overall outstanding experience, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Egypt.
Had a great day today which started with a punctual pick up at 8.00am. My friends and I were met by Adel Hakem and the driver Mohammed. We visited the pyramids in Giza and were given a very detailed commentary covering all significant sites and items of interest. Adel managed to negotiate a good price for camel and carriage rides for the group. We captured some great moments! After a quick stop at the Papyrus and perfume shop we headed off to Saqqara. Lunch was served closer to Saqqara after which we visited Saqqara and Memphis before the day ended with a drop off to the hotel. Definitely recommend if you have never visited the Pyramids! Adel and Mohammed were great. Adel knee his stuff and was on hand to answer questions and make sure we got the best out of the trip.
Mohammed Mussa was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and professional. He was punctual at pickup and made me feel at ease always asking if I needed more time for taking pictures. Overall, amazing experience with the Giza Pyramids, Sakkara pyramids, Dashur Pyramids, and ancient Memphis.
As a group of students traveling studying abroad in the Middle East, going to Egypt seemed completely logical. But as most college students our funds were not unlimited. The tour with Tonsi was superb. Easily one of the greatest trips I've had the pleasure of doing and the ATVs!! What an experience! Once in a life time and amazing, 100% recommend.
The tour guide Lamia Gamal was very knowledgeable and knew all the details about the various structures that we visited on this tour. She would also help protect against any people trying to sell you overpriced trinkets or "services". The tour was great as you got to see the famous structures up close and were allowed to take as much time as you needed.
Our guide was not as knowledgable as other guides we had while in Egypt which was a real bummer (he didn't know any of the dates, etc). Also when they picked us up they told us we were just going to the Giza Pyramids even though the description includes the step pyramids and Memphis. It took a good 30 minutes going back and forth and the guide on the phone with his management until he agreed with the description of the tour. If I could redo it I would pay for something more expensive hoping for a better guide.
Emo Tours Egypt provides a very professional service. They are prompt to respond to queries, and their guides/drivers are always on time. On this tour, my guide Mira and her driver were excellent. Mira is very knowledgeable and great fun to talk to. She speaks very good English.
Samara was excellent. She was very knowledgeable polite and understood our needs . She took us to places that were of prime importance and also fed us best falafelvery good
Our tour guide Essam was fantastic. He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the history of the pyramids and Pharoahs and Queens. Was willing to answer any questions we had. Very friendly and pleasant to spend the day with. Highly recommended full day tour, great for those not spending a lot of time in Egypt.
We did the full day tour, Giza, Sphinx, Sakkara and Memphis. Emo Tours did a splendid job. Our tour guide Essam, really went out of his way to accomodate all of us. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. Thank you very much for a fine day. Sakkie
You must request our guide Walid and his driver Hassam. This was our best day in our three day agenda-packed tour of Egypt. Walid is a true professional. His knowledge of the locations is outstanding, He treats you to little extra side trips (e.g. Mena House, eucalyptus trees) and tells historical stories like a movie narrator — exciting and fun. You can tell he has a passion for the history and his country. Walid patiently takes photo after photo, knowing all the best locations and poses to give you memories for a lifetime. Our driver Hassam, kept the car always on the ready and always air conditioned to the chilliest temperature; a lifesaver in the intense heat of the day. He even stopped to treat us to fresh sugarcane juice! We can not recommend this day enough - we will remember it forever and recommend it to all of our friends. Here’s what to expect: - Included: The full day includes your tour guide, hotel pickup and drop off, driver, and all admission fees to the sights, lunch at a great restaurant with a view of the pyramids - Not included: The crawl through the Giza pyramid, your drinks at lunch, an awesome camel ride at the pyramids (but definitely pay for this extra add-on) - Lots of walking, about 5 miles in exposed sunshine. Bring comfy shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. - Several stops at handicraft locations, including a rug, papyrus, and perfume factory and a salt and cotton factory.
We arrived at our hotel just before Midnight. In hindsight, booking a professionally organised tour on our first day proved to have been hugely successful. If like us, you have not visited Cairo before, you’ll find it a sprawling, urban area with a manic road network. Booking a local guide and driver is essential for your safety and stress levels. We had decided to visit the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara and Memphis. Having a driver and Guide with local knowledge made our day thoroughly enjoyable but immerse ourselves in some of Egypt’s magnificent historic sights. Our guide Osama has a great command of the English language, a sense of humour and an aim to ensure we had a great experience. Osama was more than prepared to amend the itinerary to ensure that we were able to maximise our experience of Egypt on our first day. Thank you Osama!
We did a full day private tour with me (Steven) and my wife (Jess) and our two kids: Elden (2 yr old) and Orlo (7 months old). We were a little nervous because we had such young kids but our tour guide Ayman gabry made it such a pleasant and seamless experience. He even held Elden, who loved it! Mahmoud salah was our driver and kept the car cold every single time we jumped in the car! Overall would do it again.
I don’t even know where to begin! Mahmoud and our driver Farrg picked us up on time with snacks in a ac vehicle. But we preferred the windows rolled down for fresh air. He offered my husband and I cigarettes and we hit the road. After hitting a major traffic jam on the way to the pyramids they did everything to find another successful route. Along the drive he provided us with more than enough facts about Cairo. Once we arrived to pyramids he organized our tickets and camel ride. If you are a history buff, he is your guy because he knew so many facts! He was patient with my obscene amount of picture requests for social media. The restaurant he took us to after was a hole in the wall but the service and food was SUPERIOR. And they had decor that would be optimal for picture taking. After that he treated us to coffee, shisha, sugar cane juice and even bought me flowers. Our driver made sure that he was on time and got us to our locations quickly and safely. I would definitely recommend Mahmoud and Farrg again.
Our half day tour included the following: Giza pyramids, the Sphinx, and Memphis. Our driver Karem knew what he was doing behind the wheel and our Egyptologist, Ibrahim, was ridiculously knowledgeable. It is very hot this week here so we called ahead (as required) and changed start time from 8am to 7am. This allowed us to get to the pyramids a little before 8. We finished everything by about 2. I highly recommend this tour group. We are currently in Luxor using emo tours down here as well! Highlights: They arrived early for pickup at Ramses Hilton. Ibrahim explained the history and reasoning behind pretty much all the built forms we saw and also matched their stories to items within the Egypt Museum. (We visited the museum the day before separately)
W had 3 great days of adventure in Giza, Cairo & Memphis. We highly recommend emo tours as they were prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Egypt and Egyptian culture /history from our guide Hosam. Our driver was great too, made us feel safe, I think his name was Amr. We will definitely book with emo again!!
Emy was our guide and showed us everything we wanted to see while providing us a detailed history of each sites visited, we swapped out Memphis for the Serapeum and it was amazing. I would highly recommend her for any tour. She's very well spoken and goes out of her way to make your experience enjoyable. What a great day we will never forget!
Uau...what an amazing experience we had. The tour was really nice organized, the guide Osama was very friendly and professional and the driver Kareem very good driving in the chaotic traffic of Cairo. I really recommend this tour, you can cover the guize famous pyramids but also visit Sakkhara and Memphis which are also really amazing. I want to thank Osama and Kareem for the fabulous day and for the great pictures

This is such an amazing and useful tour. We covered too much and learnt a lot about Egyptian ancient time in just a day!

If you are ever in Egypt and want to take a tour please contact Emo Tours!! Our tour guide Haitham was the best!! Our driver Fares was an outstanding driver!! The traffic / driving conditions in Giza/ Cairo was unorganized and chaotic. Despite all of that Fares was able to maneuver through the chaos without compromising our safety!! Haitham had so much patience with us and answered All of our questions! Haitham and Fares went over and beyond the call of duty for us!! Haitham also assisted by taking pictures for me! I mentioned to Haitham I wanted to buy some perfume and a cartouche and they took us to Topaz Bazaar and Alfayed Perfume Companywhich was not part of our tour! For lunch we went to El Dar Darak the food was delicious and the entire staff was outstanding! I can't say enough about Haitham and Fares they exceeded our expectations!! I must say they made our trip memorable! My companion and I went to Egypt alone and we became friends with Haitham and Fares!! When we come back to Egypt we will request our dynamic duo again!!!

We took the tour with Ola and Heni, and it was *amazing*. We started off with the main pyramids (which we went inside—not a lot to see, but a cool experience nonetheless). I highly recommend taking the camel ride out afterwards, we just did a short 10 minute ride but the photo-op and experience was worth bearing the heat. The rest of the day included the Sphinx, Solar Boat, Saqqara, and Memphis (which were all great, of course). We did the two person private tour which also allowed us to customize the stops a little bit and visit cool shops for souvenirs etc. While it was exhausting, it was well worth the trip. Ola and Heni were both highly professional, and certainly having them show us around accentuated the experience. At every stop they offered us water which helped bear the heat. They were very knowledgeable about the history and significance of everything we were seeing. Egypt is one of those places you really do get a different perspective just by having an Egyptologist there to explain things and answer your questions, so I’d highly recommend the day tour.
