Amr spent the day with us and took us promptly from the airport to the pyramids, for lunch, and the museum. Could not fault him, he was a very safe driver

Mr. Mohamed was highly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visits to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Qaitbay Citadel. His explanations were informative and engaging, and he ensured everything was well organised and coordinated. We particularly appreciated his thoughtful attention to our vegetarian food preferences and our wish to experience authentic Alexandrian cuisine. He even kindly bought us some of Alexandria’s famous traditional sweets, which was a lovely and unexpected gesture! We would also like to thank our driver, Mr. Mohamed Okasha, for driving us safely and comfortably from Cairo to Alexandria and back. We sincerely appreciate his efforts throughout the long journey. The tour was great. The driver came on time (and was ready even before the scheduled time). The tour guide Mohammed was amazing. He made the tour interesting and interactive with his narration-based story telling of the history of the places we visited. He was very accomodating and kind also. The food we ate was great, one of the best I’ve tried in Egypt. Alexandria is an unforgetable experience because this trip went great.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Alexandria with our tour guide, Mohammed!!From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making our day special. Our full-day tour included Kom El-Deka, where we explored the impressive Roman amphitheater and ancient ruins, followed by the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, where Mohammed explained the unique combination of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman influences. We also visited the beautiful Bibliotheca Alexandrina and ended the day at the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. What made our experience even more special was that Mohammed listened to us and personalized the tour. When he learned that we were from Greece, he went out of his way to show us additional places connected to the Greek history of Alexandria. He took us to Kavafis Street and to an excavation associated with Alexander the Great, which was such a wonderful surprise and made the experience feel much more personal and meaningful to us. Mohammed shared interesting historical information throughout the day, but he never made the tour feel rushed or overwhelming. He was patient, attentive, and happy to answer all our questions. You could really feel that he enjoys his work and loves sharing the history of Alexandria with visitors. We are especially grateful that he went the extra mile to make our visit memorable. His kindness and attention to our interests turned a great tour into a truly special experience. If you are visiting Alexandria, we highly recommend asking for Mohammed as your guide. I would like to mention ibrahim specifically for his exceptional hospitality. He made us very comfortable and made us feel safe on the boat trip he would constantly check up on us and even use translate to communicate there was never a moment we didn’t feel welcomed.

My tour began by being picked up by Mr. Waheed at my hotel in Cairo. The prior communications from NiceTours were excellent. Nice Tours shared the name of the drive, a picture of the car, and the arrival time with me. (A very important detail given all the random taxi drivers that approach me every time I leave the hotel or some other venue in Cairo.) Mr. Waheed was punctual, friendly, and professional. I felt very safe during the ride from Cairo to Alexandria. Mr. Waheed stopped at a halfway point to allow me to get a cup of coffee and stretch my legs. He even accompanied on a walk over to McDonald’s so that I could review their menu. McFalafels! Who knew? We proceeded on to Alexandria and picked up my tour guide, Alaa. She was also very friendly and showed me around the catacombs, the library, and the citadel. Alaa was very flexible in allowing me to alter the schedule slightly to have lunch at the end of the tour. Alaa shared a ton of knowledge about the three sites. She was very patient with some of my mobility issues. Alaa brought me to a lovely fresh seafood restaurant with a gorgeous view overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. After lunch, Alaa was so accommodating in accompanying me to a pharmacy to pick up some much needed over the counter medication. After dropping off Alaa, Mr. Waheed drove me back to Cairo. He was very flexible in dropping me off at a different hotel near the airport for a minimal additional fee. This saved me a lot of time and an additional Uber ride. All in all, a really great day!
