It was nice. Our guide, Tarek, did a good job of explaining the surroundings and some history of the buildings, city, and split between Cairo and Giza.
Overall the trip was good, the travel guide was having excellent character however the trip duration was not fulfilled as stated in the trip details, it took around 40 minutes instead of 60 minutes.
All was perfect. Great tour and great guide. Booked for 2 hours on the water and that's what we got. Easy to book and hotel pick up drop off. Great price. Saw herons,egrits and an eagle swooping down Some kids swimming in the shallows opposite posh hotels. Very highly recommended. Dave m

Since I needed to buy two extra tickets (for my wife and my son) they asked to pay 60 euros. They are dishonest.
Sailing on the Nile was so relaxing and peaceful, a huge contrast to the crazy streets of Cairo. There was enough wind to fill the sails and we sailed about 1km from the jetty. We saw a black kite snatch a fish from the river right by the boat. Our guide, Mustafa, was really nice and helpful, and arrived at the hotel to collect us bang on time. Car was clean too. Minus points: tour operator tried to move the trip 1h later, then told us that the included lunch was not going to be on the boat. The driver took us to a restaurant in downtown Cairo, where food was plentiful and very tasty, but switching plans was unsettling. Trip description should make this clearer.
It was a sweet evening. The tour guide and diver picked me up from my hotel, then on our way to the felucca, the guide picked up my koshari dinner. The ride was quiet, with just me, the felucca driver, and my guide. I got to see the fountain go off in the Nile, and see a peaceful sunset. I booked the night before as an Egyptian friend recommended I do a felucca ride, and this was a beautiful trip.
We had a blast on our felucca tour with both Hamada and Fouly! They truly made the experience one of a kind and treated us just like one of their friends. Emo Tours was very clean, safe and overall a terrific company to book with. They accommodated both pick up and drop off at our hotel as well. Hamada and Fouly specifically helped with the proposal to my girlfriend on the felucca and they went above and beyond to make it a special evening for the two of us. This will be a trip we will never forget!
We went about 10 yards from the shore then towed back to shore by motor boat. No wind. Your operator shouldn’t have taken us
Just a fun, easy, relaxing experience with a delightful young "guide." He was more like a chaperone - getting us to the activity, getting us on a boat, etc. We were expecting some info about the Nile and didn't get that . . but it was still a lovely experince.
Nermin and the driver, were brilliant, helpful and insightful. They arranged our transport and felluca trip, they made the activity easy for us and we found it to be a brilliant end to the trip, best at sunset
Fantastic Felucca ride on the Nile we were picked up on time and had a fantastic translator I think she was called Saba ( Apologies if I have her name wrong ) . Trip was very well organised and pleasurable and lovely scenery. Our boat csptain was very friendly and also spoke great English a really lovely trip. .
Hamad Abo Rakika was great, gave us lots of great information about the Nile and allowed us to have a relaxing trip on the Nile. We were also picked up on time for the first time during my the trip which was nice, would definitely recommend.

The boat cruise was so nice quite and relaxing. No motor just sailing. They asked if we would like to have music, we decided not. The captain was very friendly and it was a very nice trip. The car was waiting for our way back to the hotel. They even asked if we would like to be dropped of anywhere else. So thank you very much.
I highly recommend this for couples ,such a romantic date it is especially during sunset with cold breezez from nice river.the tour guide Aya is a amazing girl. This was booked at 15.30. The pickup was 15m late. At 17.30 (the trip was booked for 2 hrs) we were still waiting for a boat. Nice views but no information was given on the sights. The lunch was a takeaway sandwich from a roadside cafe though tasty. No toilet on the boat contrary to what we were told. Boat just kept circling around a small area. The guide did take and share some lovely pictures.

Nice felluca tour on Nile at the sunset. View of all the surrounding buiding, I took a lot of pictures with the help of our guide and as we had the tour at the afternoon, the sunset gave a lot nice shots .
What a fabulous experience sailing along the Nile in a purely wind driven authentic sailing boat , no noise from engines etc to intrude on this magical experience. So amazing to see the city by day and night and to watch the sun setting over the skyline of Cairo. One of the best boat tours we have done this year , so peaceful and relaxing.

We ran out of time to do this in Luxor so we tried to do it in Cairo. Everything was great with the guide, driver and boat but the bridges that cross the river are too low for the felucca to pass under. Had we known that we would be in a very limited space we would have passed on the activity. Again, the people were great and we had fun but it would have been nice to have more of the river accessible for the trip.
If you have nothing better to do and need to waste 45 minutes of your time, then do this. Otherwise don’t bother. We got picked up from our hotel by our guide and driver. I’m not sure what the guide was there for as she was totally clueless about anything to do with Cairo. Any questions we asked about the buildings, culture, food she just shrugged. For the last 15 minutes of the ride she was on her phone. Very rude! We opted for the motor felucca, and we were able to go further up the river, but we just couldn’t wait for it to end. A guide is supposed to be engaging, fun and knowledgeable. I shall be requesting a refund !

I liked that we had the option to go by motor or sail felucca. We chose motor felucca because we could see more of Cairo because the motor boats could go under the low bridges. The guide was funny and pointed out many interesting sites.
They were amazing people, very helpful. They made sure I felt comfortable as I was by myself. The boat tour was amazing the route they take you on is beautiful. They were very patient as I botched the pick up location several times and they allowed me to change it. They were very punctual coming 10 minutes early They offer both pickup and drop off.
We unfortunately had to cancel our boat ride due to extreme heat that day, but I am leaving a review to commend the tour operator company's professionalism and flexibility. Despite Viator having a no refund policy, we were assisted by the local tour company and given a refund. I will be contacting this company for all my tour needs during my next visit.

The Felucca ride is ok. The guide really does not know much, though she is very nice and friendly. Felucca ride in Aswan is much more impressive.

We purchased this tour as it fitted into our itinerary while on a short stay in Cairo. We went for this option over a dinner cruise as the reviews of food on the dinner cruise weren't great and we wanted to see the skyline from the water while it was still light outside. The word "cruise" is used in the descriptor of this trip but we didn't cruise anywhere - we drifted! Our boat had no motor and wind was low so we were towed out by a motor boat to around 400m from the riverbank and then we literally went around in circles for the hour. We didn't see anything only what was around that specific area. I think this weather is pretty normal for Cairo and we should have been offered a motorboat option rather than this. Our guide was OK but on pick up he was quite persistent trying to get us to upgrade to a dinner cruise which we had to push back on multiple times. I understand the traditional boats don't have motors, but this trip shouldn't be described as a cruise as it's not a fair descriptor

Our guide Mostafa picked us up very timely in front of our hotel and was very friendly and gave us several dinner options that we chose from and got before getting on the boat. He also took great photos of us and it felt like friends being on a boat. very calm and relaxing experience.. Just what we needed on that day. can definitely recommend.
We were picked up 30 minutes late but the company had notified us beforehand via WhatsApp that they were running late due to traffic. Our tour guide Ahmed was a university student studying languages (English and German) and therefore had a very good command of the English language. We were in our own felucca and enjoyed a lovely peaceful sail while Ahmed described the various sights. The large fountain in the middle of the Nile activated as we sailed by, further adding to our enjoyment.

Good advice from Feru. Sailboats can't go underneath bridges so best to opt for motor boat. You see a lot more. Great experience.

Very nice experience with felluca s on the Nile. 1 hour tour on the Nile is perfect (maybe more time will be boring). We saw Egyptian Museum, some embassies which has beautiful buildings 5 star hotels, bridges, boat restaurants...shortly it was fantastic time
