We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Emad Salib. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the trip. Everything was well organized, and he made the experience enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful tour experience!

This is our second experience (day) with Emad Salib. I recommend him without hesitation: informative, professional, punctual for pick-ups, not in a hurry except when the program requests. We visited the Citadel, the Civilization Museum, the Hanging Church, and the Egyptian Museum. Good balance between direct, spoken information and time for use alone to see things around.

The tour was excellent. Our guide, mister Emad Salib, offered us a lot of information in an easy-to-follow way and in a very clear english. He answered our questions well. He is also a very polite, attentive and kind person. He even helped us better interact with local venders. He is punctual and a good driver. These really are not empty words: this was our second tour with him - a 10-hour tour, and it was worth every minute. Thank you, mister Salib!

Emad Salib took us through the entire Egyptian history with vivid details and we enjoyed it thoughly. I learned a great detail and he is a very knowledgeable egyptologist. Very highly recommend his tours.

Emad took us on a full day tour of some parts of Cairo. We first had a visit to the old Egyptian museum. Later, we went to the Coptic area and the Citadel, and then ended the day with some shopping of artisinal Egyptian products. He was súper friendly and knowledgeable of Egyptian history. I would recommend him for your tour!

Emad Salib was both driver and guide. He picked me up at my hotel on time. He was friendly and professional. I really enjoyed all the places we visited but especially the museums. I had not planned to go to the Egyptian Museum downtown because I had been there before: but I learned new things and was very happy with his chronological tour there The mummies at the Museum of Civilization were incredible! I also enjoyed the Citadel including the Mosque there and the Coptic churches and synagog. These were things I had not seen on a previous trip. All in all, I had a very good day and I recommend him. This is the first time I had a private guide and it was well worth it. Going solo to Egypt was slightly scary, but it worked for me due to great guides.

It was a seamless trip from the beginning to the end. Emad Salib is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. He picked us up at our hotel on time and ensured smooth passage to each of the locations we have booked. While en route, we were briefed on the history and the significance of the locations/sights we were to see. Ice-cold water was a nice touch. A Great tour of the old Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Coptic Churches/Synagogue. Emad is so knowledgeable and kind. My wife had difficulty climbing stairs and he used the lifts where possible and a golf cart in the Citadel. He gave us a highlight tour of the Museum which enabled us to fully appreciate the key exhibits. Again, in the Citadel he explained the history of the Mosques as well as providing insight into Islam. The Coptic Churches were also fascinating and Emad helped us better understand Coptic Christianity. We also visited a Synagogue. All in all a comprehensive look at the history and key religions of Egypt. Thank you.

We booked this tour (through viator) given the amount that we could see in a single day and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The opening of the GEM meant that the old Egyptian museum and Museum of Civilisation (containing the mummies) could easily be seen in a day as well as Coptic Cairo and the citadel. Our guide/driver Emad Salib was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and it was a very interesting day. We’d been unsure of whether we would need a guide in the old Egyptian museum but are very glad we did as the labels are limited and we got so much more out of it through having someone explaining the objects and history. We did the tour on a Friday and he suggested changing the order for the day to make the most of the roads being very quiet until lunchtime. We were grateful for that as we had clear roads between the different sites. Lunch was lovely. It was in a BBQ restaurant (again we were given a couple of options) where mini BBQs were placed on each table with the cooked meat on it. We would definitely recommend this tour and guide.

We had a fantastic trip with a very knowledgeable and professional guide Mr Emad Salib. His professionalism started with his punctuality in picking us from the hotel.. He had a deep knowledge and explained to us about the Egyptian History with regards to NMEC and Old Egyptian museum visits.. He explained to us about the significance of the Coptic Churches and also about the citadel .. He is a honest man and his work ethics are the best..

I decided I really didn’t want a group tour of the main Cairo attractions, so we found Emad, and I can honestly say best decision of the short time we had in the city. Emad tailor made the tour to suit us, we did adapt it slightly to include the Grand Egyptian Museum rather than Coptic Cairo. No problem for Emad. He is so knowledgeable but pitches the tour perfectly, checking whether you want time yourself or a coffee. There’s no pressure, no hurry. Emad took us round museums making sure we saw all the important artefacts in an order that made sense and so we missed the crowds. I was able to spend time with virtually no one else in the room looking at the most important pieces. Can’t recommend Emad highly enough, my advice…don’t do a group tour get a tailor made one where you can ask as many questions as you like and hear the answers.

Emad was one of the best guides we had during our entire trip. He was incredibly flexible and kindly adjusted the tour so we could start a bit later, since our flight the night before had been delayed by five hours. Despite the change, he made sure we saw everything, sharing his deep knowledge and great attitude throughout the day. You can tell he truly loves what he does- and it shows! Also, our driver Ismaiel made us feel safe and comfortable everywhere we went.

Great tour of the religious historical sites of Cairo. Favourite part was seeing the citadel and the magnificent Alabaster mosque. Salib is the best. He knows everything and explains all the important historical facts with passion. Answered all my question professionally.

Our driver Medhat and our guide Osama were great in leading us through egyptian history: Osama knew how to navigate the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, without getting overwhelmed and while still getting a great overview on the huge collection and vaste history. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions as detailed as required. The tour through coptic cairo afterwards was a great continuation: not only did we see several important landmarks of different religions, osama also was able to explain to us how the egyptian beliefs changed after the pharaonic times and what caused the different religions to become important in the last ~3000 years. He delightfully mixed all that interesting history with remarks on the architecture and history churches, synagogue and mosque themselves which we saw. Both our driver Medhat and our guide Osama were very nice, and skillful in their respective duties.

Great day out!!. Salib was an excellent tour guide and mostafa a perfect driver. arrived on time to begin with then we got to the museum early to get tickets and be one of the first inside the museum. Salib was very knowledgeable about all the pieces he showed us and was able To answer any questions we had. Spent about 2 hours inside the museum with some free time if wanted which I felt was plenty of time. We had lunch which was delicious and was the shown around the Coptic churches which were beautiful. I would 100% Recommend for anyone to this tour and for those who love history - you won’t be disappointment :)

He will smoothly guide you through the Egyptian Museum.He will also gice you a lot od information about the egyptian history. Just booked the Museum without the City-Tour......and it was worth it.....Salib is the best Guide you could ask for ....he knows EVERYHING about Egytian History...Organisation (Car, Pick-up, etc...) was perfect.....Museum is bigger than I thought......

Salib was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught my husband and I a lot about the ancient Egyptian culture. He was so hospitable and even took us to get some authentic Egyptian street food, which was delicious. He knew all of the cool places to get gifts to take back home.
