It was a nice Trip to the Museum, the coptic Cairo and the Bazar!

Safety is a major priority, not only did we have a private car, driver, guide but also a guard. This booking met all our expectations! Our guide Hazem was kind, generous, knowledgeable and joyful. My family truly enjoyed his presence and our guard Abdul was as equally kind and joyful. The experience was exceptional. We learned so much, saw so much, and bought so much at the market! As a slightly anxious traveller who had heard all the horror stories about Cairo’s chaos and safety, I can honestly say the experience couldn’t have been smoother, safer, or more enjoyable. From the moment we were picked up in a private minibus by our driver and our guide Hassan, we felt completely looked after. Hassan stayed with us the entire time – not hovering, just quietly making sure everything was easy, comfortable, and fun. Day 1: Cairo Highlights We visited the brand‑new museum, the historic churches of Cairo, and wandered through the Islamic streets and markets. His pride in his country and its history shines through in the best possible way. Day 2: The Pyramids Another phenomenal day. Seeing the pyramids is unforgettable on its own, but having Hassan with us made it even better. Everything was organised, relaxed, and completely stress‑free. Walking through the streets on Day 1 was a bit overwhelming at times – as Cairo can be – but we felt safe and supported throughout. Hassan and our driver created a bubble of calm around us, which made it possible to enjoy the cultural experience instead of worrying about it. A fascinating tour of the highlights of Coptic and Islamic Cairo including the Hanging Church, the Mohammed Ali mosque, the famous Al Muizz Street, the Khan el-Khalili bazaar and the Museum of Islamic Art. We were picked up from our hotel on time and our driver (Omar) was brilliant at negotiating the somewhat unpredictable Cairo traffic! Our incredibly knowledgeable guide Zizou took us on a journey through 2000 years and explained the key historical and religious developments brilliantly. He tailored the day to our wishes and we highly recommend a tour with him.

Zizou and Ehab Our trip today was amazing. 🤩 We went to the Egyptian museum saw so many intriguing things. Zizou was so knowledgeable and shared all the best highlights. We went to many churches and a synagogue and ended the day at the bazar. Without him we would have been lost. Ehab picked us up and dropped us off at every destination with a smile. I would highly recommend bothers guys. Truly one of the best experiences. Lunch was also delicious.

We had a private tour today to Egyptian museum, copyic egypt and khan Bazaar. Zanaty Mohamed was our tour guide. It was another day of excellent experience. He showed us theses places gave a good idea about the history. He also took us to a place for local food which as superb. I would highly recommend Zanaty Mohamed as tour guide. It is worth as one will know and enjoy the trip

Mohamed Gomaa was a fantastic tour guide! He was so impressive with his wealth of knowledge. His humor made the experience so enjoyable. I highly recommend the tour with him. And he’s super cute too. We had our own tour through Deluxe that we requested that they did not offer but accommodated us. So all in all it was just perfect.

On Day 2 I visited the churches, Egyptian Museum and a market. The guide was so knowledgeable and I learned a lot about the Egyptian history. If I had more time I would have spent more hours in the Egyptian Museum, but the guide selected the most important exhibitions to make the limited time valuable. I am so thankful to this tour company to make my short visit so valuable.

Amazing day touring the most sacred places in Cairo. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny throughout the whole day which made it so fun! He also showed us a fantastic restaurant serving the Egyptian national dish. Very nice and respectful of our time and was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

With Zizou as a guide the Egyptian Museum was the perfect way to put all we had seen and heard in our time in Egypt into context. Zizou answered all our questions and helped us learn so much about the history of Egypt and surrounding areas. He has a fantastic way of teaching so even teenagers are dying to know more.

We had a wonderful day touring Cairo with Mahmoud. He is a highly knowledgeable guide, and he showed us a number of great sites. I couldn’t recommend visiting the Hanging Church more, and with Mahmoud it was even more interesting. He also had deep knowledge of the Egyptian Museum and its contents. You can’t go wrong with Mahmoud!

Mohammed was engaging and incredibly knowledgable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We never felt rushed. Our driver was wonderful, safe and sure driver always opening and closing our doors.

100% recommend this tour! It was a great kickstart to our holiday. We had the BEST Egyptologist, Henry Ayoub. Request him! Extremely knowledgeable, interesting and made the day very enjoyable. He knew the best parts of the museum, takes you through a journey of the entire ancient Egyptian history and keeps you fascinated. Henry isn’t a typical tour guide, he’s completing a PHD and soon to be University professor, so you’ll want to book him before he gets even busier. The activity itself was great. The museum was incredible, Coptic Cairo and the old market was very cool. We also got to see authentic papyrus and scent oil production which was a fantastic addition. Very lucky we found this excursion!

So much to see! Started with the Citadel of Salah El Din and Mohamed Ali Mosque, Saw them Coptic Cairo (Hanging Church, Church of St Barbara, Church of St George. All were spectacular. We then went to the Egyptian Museum and got close up to King Tut before finishing up at an uber-local coffee bar while waiting for our train to continue the tour to the south. Everything was perfectly executed by our tour guide Mohammed.

After experiencing the ancient pyramids on the first day, Mohammed brought us to the The Citadel, The Hanging Church and the Egyptian Museum. He did an amazing job connecting everything on the historical and cultural timeline. We had a great time!

Mohammad is extremely good, professional, and flexible (really appreciate this!) and for that, he deserves special thanks. He is respectful and goes the extra mile to help. Mahmoud Badr was a great guide for us during our tour through Cairo. He knew a lot of information about the city and museums. He was very passionate about the history of Cairo which was exciting. Everything went as planned from hotel pick up to drop off. This was an all day tour. Our tour was for Ciradel, the national egyptian museum and coptic cairo. Our tour guide Mahmoud was very knowledgeable of all these sites and his English is very good. He made us feel very comfortable. We are from the US and dont speak any arabic. I enjoyed the entire tour, including seeing the alabaster mosque, the mummies of great Pharoah Ramses and many more, and the hanging church. Suggest wearing comfortable shoes as there is alot of walking. Also a head scarf to be respectful if you are going inside the mosque. I was certain to wear clothes below the knee and no bare shoulders or low neck lines. Women may where what they want, but it is easy to just where a modest outfit. We also stopped at a papyrus shop and watched how papyrus is made. There were artist paintings on papyrus for purchase as well. This was a private tour for my husband and I with a driver and our guide. Traffic in Cairo is a bit crazy, but our driver did a very good job getting us around safely. I strongly recommend this tour with driver and our amazing guide Mahmoud.

We went inside The Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Mohamad Ali mosque with Mr Moumad - our Tour Guide Egyptologist. He was to able to provide us an educational experience going around the museum. The best part was to see the King Tut’s golden coffins and the story about the book of the dead. I love listening to him the way he tells stories about pharaos and kings and queens. He is the best! We also had the chance to see the bazaar market place and he helped us around to see souvenirs, jewelries etc. I would also like to commend our tour driver Mr Moumad (they have the same name). He always opens the van door for us. Such a cool guy.

This was day 2 of a 2 day tour. Didn't fail our expectations. Traffic is crazy in Cairo but our driver Sabri...he was amazingly patient and skilled in the chaos of the roads. Mahmoud our guide excelled at all the knowledge of everywhere we visited. He was also happy to accommodate us if there were things we didn't want to do. Lunches on both days have been fab too. So apart from being tired out now, we are both happy souls from having had such a great experience with Deluxe and Mahmoud and Sabri. We would recommend them as safe, good value for money, incredible knowledge and expert guidance. So a little snooze now.....watch some football at the hotel...and then to bed feeling very very grateful.

Great experience in english. Sam was very knowledgeable about Egyptian ancient history and made our time at the museum unforgettable and authentic. We were also lucky enough to be the only two in our tour, making it a private one-on-one guided day.

Saw the egyptian musuem which is a great treasure followed by the coptic cairo, the citadel and khalili market. Our guide Bestravos took us to a coffee shop of 17th century and we had coffee there. Thank you Bestravos& Deluxe tours. We would like to visit Egypt once more again.

I can’t say enough good things about deluxe travel. They went above and beyond from the moment I got of the plane. Mohamed met me and got me through security, and on the drive to my Airbnb offered all the tours. I did much research before coming to Egypt, I just didn’t know how I was going to feel up to doing. Deluxe travel accommodated me with a perfect balance of tours and recouping from surgery. They also helped find a tattoo artist that was out of this world, they were always on time and communication was A+++. Nice, my personal guide, was so knowledgeable and was on every leg of the trip. I can’t tell you how engaging he was. He answered every question I ever had and if he couldn’t answer it, he found the answer for me. I am a first time solo traveler from the United States. I would have never been able to experience Egypt with these guys, and if you haven’t booked anything yet, make sure you go with these guys, especially if you think you might need anything outside standard tourist needs, like a cool tattoo artist!! The whole day went smooth. Museums, markets, mosque, all good. Really nice car, Sabri was a very good driver, great tour guide, Mahmoud Badr, very knowledgeable, good english, great person, very Accommodating. First class!!! Highly recommend.

Our favorite part of the experience was seeing all the hidden gems of Cairo with our super informative and friendly guide Titto. He has a wealth of knowledge and was very accommodating, constantly making sure we felt comfortable. Would highly recommend this company and tour guide!

We did a day tour of Giza, Saqqara and Dashur with guide Galal and driver Walid. Galal and Walid were both excellent! Galal was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions throughout the day. He had good recommendations of what we should prioritize seeing and what we could skip. He also gladly accommodated our requests of specific things we wanted to see. We were very happy we saw not only Giza, but also Saqqara and Dashur (the Bent & Red pyramids). You can best appreciate the more famous Pyramids at Giza if you also see the earlier pyramids at Saqqara and Dashur. Seeing how the pyramid design evolved over subsequent kings was really fascinating and so I'm glad we saw the Bent Pyramid, Red Pyramid, and Step Pyramid. Walid drove comfortably and safely and he was very friendly as well. The car was a small bus (current Toyota HiAce model) and was clean, and well air conditioned.

Amazing tour and adventure filled two days! If you take this tour, ask for Galal, you definitely won’t regret! Galal is the best and most knowledgeable guide we’ve ever had traveling around the world. He gave us in depth details about history of Egypt, significant periods and events and talked about each place with such an enthusiasm that it was very interesting and memorable. We often get bored on long touts but it wasn’t the case at all with Galal! We spent two days with him, one visiting Saqqura and Memphis, and other day visiting a museum, Citadel, church, Mosques and Bazaar, both days were filled with great stories and interesting facts. Galal is an egyptologist with extensive degrees, as well as archeologist, and he does his own research, so it was especially interesting to get all historic information and details from him, kind of like first hand information! We will recommend him to all friends and family visiting and will definitely be in touch with him for next visits to Cairo and Egypt! Driver was great too, with safe driving, clean car, meeting us at the front, and opening doors. Thank you so much for showing us Cairo and wanting to come back again!
