Camel & Horse Ride At Pyramids

Riding horses and camels around the Pyramids was an incredible experience, and our guide was super friendly and helpful. The tour manager even called during the trip to check if we were enjoying everything, which was so thoughtful. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable Day at the Pyramids This was honestly one of the most fun experiences we had in Cairo. My family and I really enjoyed riding the camels and horses around the pyramids. Seeing the pyramids from the desert while riding was such a unique experience and gave us some great memories and photos. Everything went smoothly, and the experience felt relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. The kids had a great time, and even the adults had so much fun. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The tour guide spoke very good English. The guide came on time. It was such a great experience. After I finished the ride the driver brought me back to the hotel. I am a solo traveler. Our camel ride by the Pyramids was the absolute highlight of our Egypt trip! Our guide was fantastic, very friendly and took amazing photos for us. I booked the Travel Connection Tours at the reception of this hotel. The tour guide picked me up from the hotel. He speaks very fluent English. During the camel ride, I did it for 2 hours and it felt like a scene from a movie, such a surreal experience. The tour guide also explained the long history behind the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx so it was an awesome history lesson as well. The tour guide also brought me for authentic Egyptian lunch. The tour guide met me at the hotel. From there we road a horse and carriage to meet up with Ali the pyramid guide. From the get go I had the choice of riding Arabian horses, Camels, or ATV. I selected the camel. As and FYI a camel is an extremely large animal compared to a horse and there is some physicality in mounting and dismounting required. From there is was all inclusive as a flat rate. Tickets to all exhibits were acquired and we swapped the horse carriage for the camel inside the pyramid complex. The tour is very extensive and includes seeing all 9 pyramids as well as entering the pyramids and access to restricted areas. Also a visit to the sphinx and plateau are included. Ali takes excellent photos and speaks great English. He also gives you a history of the Giza pyramids. It takes over 2 hours to complete the tour and ends in the gift shop with some cold drinks. Well worth the trip as a solo traveler from Philadelphia, USA. This was a true one on one guided tour. Highly recommend!❤️🇪🇬👍🐪

I spent three lovely hours ❤️❤️on his Arabian horse and it was the best three hours of my life. He went very fast. He taught me how to run the horse. He taught me how to jump of the horse and he taught me many new facts about geezer. He came at the perfect time and spoke very good English. Solo I come from Mexico, I booked with the travel connection tours, a booked the tour camel ride with the tour guide who speaks native English and the tour guide come to me in the right time I stayed Marriott hotel and the guide and driver were on time for the pick up, five stars service and felt safe and comfortable and I have a great time highly recommended

The camel ride was great, BUT BEWARE, the ticket says that all fees and taxes are included. However, when we got to the camels we were told if we wanted to ride up to the pyramids we would have to pay the entrance fee. (The entrance fee is 200 EGP, which is less than $7). Since we just gotten into Egypt and didn't know we needed to pay a fee, we only had US dollars. They offered to pay the fee for us if we gave them $10 each, without telling us how much the entrance really cost. I feel we were misled and taken advantage of. On the way to and from the camel ride they stopped at three shops and we had to endure a presentation and pressure to purchase products. Again not in the description. If it was just the camel ride without the misrepresentation and pressure I would give it 5 stars, but the feeling of being scammed ruined the experience. If you want to do this experience, message the company before leaving home and get the details in writing.

My tour guide was very outgoing and I would love to do more tours with her again when I come back with my family. The driver was excellent and was a safe driver. Amazing affordable tour. I was able to visit the city of Cairo and check out the Sphinx and pyramids. I also was able to do sand boarding for the first time it was so much fun. Amazing tour!! Our guide Wela knew so much! Taught us about ancient Egypt! If we would have went alone, we would not have been as impressed as we were knowing the history behind it. They picked us up from our hotel in a nice car, started with the camel rides, got close to the pyramids, went back to our start place and Muhammad gave us amazing hospitality! Got to hang out and eat at the roof top with the view of the pyramids. No place like it! Looks like a movie. 5 stars for them from start to finish!

I came from Bogota, Colombia and stayed at the Marriott Hotel. The Travel Connection Tours company picked me up very punctually and from the beginning they proved to be very professional. They gave me a guide in Spanish, with a 3-hour camel tour 🐫 accompanied by a native guide who explained in detail the history of the pyramids . Then we were taken to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where we also received a full explanation in Spanish.
