Cairo Sailing Boat Tours On The Nile By Felucca

A perfect hour-long sightseeing experience It was a relaxing way to take in the sights and history. Sailing on the ancient waterway, pivotal to Egyptian civilization for millennia, was surreal. We appreciated our guide Amer's commentary and we must also give acknowledge our driver Tamer who provided excellent service for us from our hotel, to the fallucca back to our hotel.

My wife and I had a relaxing and peaceful sailboat ride along the Nile with Emo Tours. They picked us up from our hotel on time and dropped us back afterwards, which made everything easy. The driver was polite, and our guide, Ayah, was lovely – she spoke with us throughout and made the experience more enjoyable. The weather was perfect, and we had the entire boat to ourselves. The boat was steered by a friendly man named Muhammad, who was calm and professional. A great way to unwind and enjoy the Nile. High recommend the company.

It was a wonderful experience to see the nile river. Our tour guide came with us on the felucca and shared some of interesting pieces of their history. There is nothing really special about and it can’t be compared to the big boat cruise on the river, but if you want a private leisure tour of the nile, away from the crowd then this is a good experience.

Well it wasn’t a Felucca and it wasn't much of a lunch. However it was a very enjoyable private boat trip on the Nile. Lunch was a takeaway chicken shawarma! Ok yes it was very tasty but we ate it in the car en route back! Not quite what we had thought it would be. So the 3 stars are really only because it wasnt as advertised but we did have a good time.

Beautiful leisurely Nile trip with a very entertaining Captain, who sang to us and danced too. Perfect way to see the Nile. Had an amazing lunch afterwards in Cairos oldest restaurant, food was amazing!

Great experience. Because there was no wind that day our guide recommended we do a different boat so we could see more of the river.

The stay was really good and I was especially impressed with their staff. So courteous and well behaved and professional. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. My room was served by Joyjit and he was a delight to talk to. He always used to come and inquire about me if I needed something done, and it gave a very homely feeling to me. It really left a very good impression on me and now I will prefer to stay at Taj hotels if possible. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so peaceful and effortless.

The guide did not say a SINGLE word on the way to the boat nor the whole way back to the hotel. When we got to the boats, he got out of the van to make arrangements and came back to the van and told us the government said there couldn’t be any felucca rides that day! Had no one checked in advance to confirm with the boat owner? Our only choices were to go back to the hotel (!!) or take a 30 minute ride (instead of the hour ride) in a motor boat. Faced with these choices, we chose the motor boat. But wait, the guide didn’t go on the boat with us so we had NO narration, just a ride with a driver. We were so disappointed. Viator hasn’t let us down in the past and we’re hoping they don’t now.

Decent tour to experience the Nile river. Friendly guide and experienced captain Would highly recommend.

This was a relaxing shirt and sweet ride on a sailboat on the Nile River. My wife and I enjoyed it very much and recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to commit to a long tour but still wants to get out and do something.

Guide nice and kind but doesn’t know basics of the Cairo and The Nile. The place for the lunch was terrible. We preferred don’t eat

The guide was kind and nice but she doesn’t know information about things we saw in our trip. We ask to her basic thinks about Caíro and The Nile and she can’t answer most of them. The place for the lunch wasnt good, we didn’t want to eat there.

A wonderful experience! We enjoyed a delicious lunch aboard our private felucca with beautiful views along the Nile. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this experience!

Scenery and touching the water. The boat was very nice and we were able to take pictures and the guide and driver where great!!!!

After we paid for this we were then informed by the tour company that they no longer did this trip but it would be a lunch on the docked boat & the a 1 hour ride on a Feluka boat. What we got was a takeaway chicken roll, a packet of chips & a can of coke to eat on the Feluka ride. NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR.

When you offered me the choice of daytime or night cruise I chose the daytime as I am travelling along and do not like to go out at night. I should have taken the chance and the option of the night cruise. The guide and driver were very nice. Lunch was from a takeaway place, food called something like cadgeree, three guavas, a bottle of water and some cane juice which I had mentioned I liked. The felucca captain was also very nice but we jus seemed to go round in circles. Not my most favourite memory. M Clulow

Was supposed to be a 2 hour cruise on the Nile and a buffet lunch. There was NO cruise. The boat never left the dock. There was no buffet lunch... We had only one choice of a meal... chicken.

It was an amazing experience. The boat ride was very smooth. The view on top of the ship was breath taking. We were so grateful to have Mahmoud Anwar as our English speaking tour guide.

We had a great Tour guide (Ahmed Mohammed), he comes to our hotel with Ehab (who is a very nice driver by the way) and we went to the cruise. It was funny and the food was very good !

It was great fun to have a Belly dancer accompained lunch on the Nil. Ahmed tonsi who guided the tour is a very courteous and pleasant Guy.

I was very skeptical about the tour guide service, but the way Mr Ahmed Tosin took care of us is simply great. Door to door pick up and drop, punctual, reasonable price, and very knowledgeable. We have booked a second day trip with the agency after this great service. Simply great. Keep up the great work mate😊😊😊😊. We were able to organize this outing with emo tours egypt, Tamer the guide was really friendly, he gave us plenty of good tips for us to have a good stay in Cairo. We had a car with private driver. Regarding the activity, the buffet meal was varied and very good, the artists' shows were perfect. To be done again with pleasure and always with emo tours egypt.
