We just came back from a nine day Egypt trip. Cairo , Aswan, Luxor , Sharm. They took care of everything from all airport pick ups , drop offs , private tours with cars and English speaking guides, dinner reservations, our vacation was hassle free and so comfortable , everything was on time and there was no issue at all , highly recommend them , specially in a city like Cairo which is so chaotic I am glad i dint have to deal with any random taxi drivers , getting scammed etc. no standing in lines at ticket counters or entrance at any major sites. We had a good experience overall. I communicated with Armia Amgad the whole time as our tour operator , Ahmed our guide in Cairo was the best .

We traveled with Sun Pyramids on an eight-day Egypt itinerary booked through KimKim. The historical sites themselves were extraordinary—pyramids, temples, tombs, and the Nile cruise were unforgettable—but the execution and guiding by Sun Pyramids frequently fell short. There were serious professionalism issues with multiple male guides. Two different guides showed us shirtless photos of themselves without any prompting. Another made a long explanation about why women should cover themselves by comparing women to chocolate bars left in the sun, then laughed and refused to answer when asked how men fit into that analogy. These moments were uncomfortable, unnecessary, and inappropriate—especially traveling with my 18-year-old daughter. Communication and planning were also major problems. We were repeatedly required to wake up at 4–4:30 a.m., only to wait hours for flights, boats, or site access. Ship departure times were inaccurate, which caused us to miss anticipated evening temple visits. We were often told things would happen “soon” (wifi, departures, schedules) that simply didn’t. Guides at times appeared disengaged, impatient with crowds, or more interested in smoking breaks than helping us adjust plans or explore alternatives. Aggressive sales tactics were constant and exhausting, including shop stops with extreme overpricing and vendors shouting into our cabin windows from boats while we slept. While we understand this is common in Egypt, there was little effort from guides to buffer or manage these experiences. One bright spot was our Cairo guide, Mary, who was knowledgeable, warm, and professional throughout. She demonstrated what excellent guiding in Egypt can look like. Egypt’s history is unparalleled, and we do not regret seeing these sites. However, Sun Pyramids needs significantly better guide training, clearer communication, and stronger expectations around professionalism and respectful behavior—particularly toward female travelers.

Very interesting trip! My driver and guide bring me to Dendera and Abydos and the were really professional! The guide speaks a very good german and he tell me a lot of interesting thinghs of the aegyptian culture. I also organize two transfers in Luxor and all was very well organized!!

I visited Egypt on Nov 2025, and moved to Luxor from Cairo via sleep train and had nice sightseens at Luxor. It was planned by SUN PYRAMIDS Company. Mr.Omaru picked me at the Luxor Station smoothly, so there was no trouble at the station. After the tour of Luxor, Mr. Omaru brought me to the station and wait the train with me. I was so helpful because the station was so clouded. Aporecite the kindness of Omaru.

The trip was simply fantastic. From the moment we started planning with Yosef, they were extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions. We did the entire 7-day package through Egypt and it was incredible. I have no complaints. The entire organization, the logistics of the tours, the freedom they gave us to decide on some schedules, the dinners, everything was wonderful! In addition, we had Hassan as our guide, and he was incredible. Simply the most amazing person we met in Egypt. He treated us like family and made everyone feel extremely comfortable. We booked all our private excursions, tours, and transfers in Egypt with Sun Pyramids Tours, covering Cairo, Aswan, the Nile, and Luxor, and we were very happy with the experience. From the very beginning, Menna was fantastic — she helped us plan and customize our itinerary months in advance and stayed in touch throughout the trip, always responsive and accommodating even to last-minute changes. In Cairo, our guide Saïd was friendly, flexible, and very knowledgeable, and our driver Ahmed made us feel completely safe despite the famously hectic Cairo traffic. In Aswan and Luxor, our guide Aladdin brought great energy and deep knowledge to every visit, making each site come alive. We were met and assisted at every airport, and all transfers were punctual and smooth. The restaurants chosen were generally very good — only one stop near the Saqqara pyramid was below average, but that was a minor exception. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, worry-free experience in Egypt.

Our trip of a lifetime was made so by Sun Pyramids. We never had to worry about anything...they took care of it all. The guides and drivers were always on time, took care of every little aspect, even up to the point of scheduling a wake-up call for us and texting the agenda of the next day to us the night before. They thought of things that we would never have expected. Also, when we asked our guide to allow us time for shopping and told him what we wanted to buy he made it happen and helped us get a good deal. One day we were so tired that we told the guide that we didn't want to go to the last activity (shopping at a bazaar) and he was totally understanding and took us back to our hotel. And Fatima, the agent at Sun Pyramids....wow....she checked in on us several times throughout the trip to make sure that everything was grand. They even provided a SIM card for the phone so that we could stay in contact. Well worth every penny!

My trip was absolutely perfect. From the private driver at the airport to the very end. Everything was thoughtfully planned out. Eslam was a wonderful tour guide who worked with me and my sometimes difficult schedule. He made sure I got to see every site I could and was very detailed. I really enjoyed my time with him. Mr. Ahmed arranged an extra trip for me for a hot air balloon ride from my cruise and he did a great job as well. I highly recommend booking with Sun Pyramid and asked for Eslam.

Trip of a lifetime. Two of us and our kids 15 and 9 years old. Aya Yasser helped us to arrange everything. It was perfect from the start to the end. In Cairo pyramid view dinner with a help of Mustafa. Next day whole day tour in Cairo instead the Egyptian museum, pyramids, Sphinx camel ride around pyramids and very, very professional tour guide Dalia. On the Nile Cruise we had everything arranged also by Aya. In Aswan - Nubian village by boat, Edfu horse carriage to Edfu temple and Luxury hot air balloon and tour with very professional tour guide as well. Will totally recommend Sun Pyramids tour operator and Aya who is very professional with arranging everything. We will be back!! Egypt is one of the most friendly countries I have ever been to. This was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE.. The food was very delicious, the music was very good, the entertainment was great, the vibes were outstanding and the hospitality was superb. We went on a 4 day 3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Our guide was Zakaria from Sun Pyramid who picked us up from Airport and guided us for the entire trip. We had a great time and loved the history of Egypt and Egyptian culture and how it was influenced by Greek/Roman/Christian/Muslim culture. Zakaria is a very knowledgeable guide and he has a deep understanding on history/culture. He was an excellent guide for us and we would highly recommend him. Sun Pyramid Tours put together a three-day package tailored for what I wanted to see around Cairo. We did a night cruise with live entertainment, Giza pyramids including climbing deep inside one of the pyramids, a camel ride, the great sphinx, Memphis, Saccara, New Egyptian museum with over 30 mummies, the citadel, and a few other experiences along the way. They were easy to work with in building a package that worked really well. The drivers and guides were friendly and knowledgeable about just about anything we saw or questions I had. I loved every minute of the tours.

We’ve loved our experience in Egypt. Our tour guides were excellent! Zakaria was very knowledgeable, patient and attentive! He guided us from Luxor to Aswan. He went over and beyond to help us with other things for our trip too. Mary guided us in Cairo. She was excellent too! Knowledgeable and kind. Our experience couldn’t have been better! Thanks to their effort, we are considering to revisit Egypt after the new museum is open.

Edfu and kom ombo. Day 4. Aswan The shore excursions was seamless and well manged with no hiccups. Zakaria was patient to answer the myriad questions we had, inspite of the mad November rush.

We had the pleasure of being guided by Zakaria. He provided us with fabulous knowledge throughout the trip. He always ensured that we didn’t queue and found great photo opportunities. I unfortunately was not well and Zakaria was most concerned, he altered the tour to suit me, he offered what ever assistance he could to provide the upmost care. Zakaria always worked with polite and friendly drives to help make experience pleasant. We also enjoyed lots of interesting conversations generally about life in Egypt, he made sure we purchased our souvenirs at suitable prices. We did Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with our guide Zakaria. He was very knowledgeable, addressed all our questions, and guided us to the best spots. Radamis cruise had good accommodations and food. We visited all of the major sights in Luxor, Edfu, and Aswan.

Mustafa was very accommodating he made us feel right at home 5 out of 5 💋 . He met us at the airport and ensured we were informed on what to expect while giving us a brief overview of the area.

We had such an awesome time cruising the Nile river from Aswan to Luxor, visiting the Philae temple and High Dam in Aswan, Nubian village in Aswan, temples in Kom Ombo, Edfu, as well as the Luxor and Karnak temples in Luxor. Sunpyramids does an amazing job taking care of guest needs, checking in every once in a while. We had a gentleman of a person in Ehab Michael, who genuinely cares for his guests. He treated us like his family, ensured all our needs are taken care of, guiding us on the dos and donts all the time. He even kept in touch with us after finishing the cruise, checking in to make sure we are ok during other parts of our Egypt tour. Cairo was as amazing as i have ever imagined and it worth our long journey to Egypt. We were accompanied by our tour leader Ahmed Yassin who made sure we were comfortable and entertained at all times. he took very good care of us and made our days there Cairo so much fun and memorable. The nile cruise had good food and dance at the night that we enjoyed a lot as well. Overall I would highly recommend everyone to take a trip to Cairo.

I used Sun Pyramid Tours to organize my trip to Egypt with my family. I already had a clear idea of the route I wanted to take and I had booked flights and hotels myself. However, as I was travelling with my two children, ages 3 and 6, I wanted to be accompanied and taken care of on site, from A to Z. It was while booking on a website that I discovered Sun Pyramid Tours. The agency contacted me on WhatsApp and we then organised the whole programme together. Mariam, who was my interlocutor, was very responsive, flexible and good advice. The whole organization was done via WhatsApp and it was simple, fluid and efficient. We included in the program all transfers, Francophone guides and tours. Once there, we were perfectly taken care of by the teams: drivers, coordinators and Francophone guides in Cairo and then in Luxor. And finally, transfer to Hurghada. Overall, everything went well. As with any trip, there may be some adjustments along the way, but the agency has always been very responsive and found solutions quickly. We were initially very skeptical about whether the booked trip worked as planned. BUT: We all agree that we will book here again should we come back to Egypt. The deployed guides (Mohamed on the Nile cruise and Amal in Cairo) were very friendly, reliable and very well trained - they also became friends in the week together! Two of us had problems with our stomach/intestines. Every time on the day of a transfer. The resulting necessary changes of bookings or change of plans was also TOP. We have just concluded a wonderful trip to Egypt that left us speechless. I booked this holiday through Evaneos and the guys at Sun Pyramids were immediately super attentive to customizing my tour. For the visit to Cairo our guide was the Egyptologist Akef, a person of great cultural depth who transmits passion and dedication to his work. Once we boarded the Radamis II cruise, our guide was Mido and it was like traveling with a friend. He accompanied us on this journey of discovery, helping us to understand even the most difficult concepts, transmitting to us his love for his work and the history of his country. All the transfers were super precise and there were no, but I mean no failures. I would recommend it to everyone, it's a beautiful trip!

Magnificent experience 4 days on the cruise from Aswan to Luxor in which Ahmed acted as our guide, and we loved both the treatment he gave us and the explanations of all the visits, a person to keep in mind for future adventures, My partner and I have wonderful memories of those days.

It was a spectacular trip because Egypt has incredible historical wealth, but the agency does not deliver a Service that trusts because one has to be very vigilant about fulfilling the activities and reservations committed in the itinerary. For example, they changed our cruise without warning and put us in a worse category. They say they give some things away when you've already paid for them. Also the restaurants they choose are not good. It also gives the impression that people who work at the agency are underpaid because some are too attentive to the tip, which ends up inconveniencing. On the positive side I highlight punctuality, very skilled drivers and friendly guides with extensive knowledge.

We stayed two days in Cairo with a visit to Giza, Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Saqqara. We then continued with a Nile cruise with a visit to Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor. Everything was organized very well and timely. Special thanks to the guides Muhammad and Mido.
