The tour began at the Pyramids, which were truly breathtaking. However, we felt that the guide could have provided more in-depth information about their historical significance. We had also booked a 30-minute camel ride, but unfortunately, the actual ride lasted only about five minutes. For the majority of the time, the camel was stationary with no clear explanation provided. Later, the guide mentioned traffic in Cairo and proposed an alternative route that included stops at three high-end shops (aromatherapy, papyrus, and Aswan spices). These visits felt more like sales opportunities rather than part of the original itinerary, and the prices were quite high. It seemed as though there may have been an incentive for the guide to bring us there, which was disappointing. The felucca ride, advertised as 30 minutes, was also underwhelming. We spent about 20 minutes waiting due to technical issues, and the actual sailing time was very short, covering only a small loop on the water. One positive aspect of the tour was the guide’s enthusiasm in helping us take photos, which we appreciated.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is one of the most anticipated cultural treasures in the world, offering an extraordinary journey through Egypt’s ancient history in a modern, breathtaking setting. During your tour, you’ll explore vast galleries showcasing thousands of artifacts, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time. The museum’s grand atrium, dominated by a colossal statue of Ramses II, sets the tone for an immersive experience that blends cutting-edge presentation with deep heritage. As you walk through its expansive halls, you’ll encounter meticulously preserved relics, interactive exhibits, and architectural marvels that highlight Egypt’s brilliance across millennia. A visit to the GEM is not just a museum stop—it’s an inspiring encounter with the past, offering a rich and memorable chapter in your day’s exploration of Cairo.
Pyramid of Cheops (The gretest Pyramid on earth and the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world) Pyramid of Chephren (the second pyramid in Giza and it still keeps great part of its outer casing) Pyramid of Mycerinus (The third and smallest Pyramid and it is partially covered with granite blocks) Sphinx (the huge mystical Guardian of the pyramids with the body of a lion and the head of king Chephren)
The area of the Bazaar of Khan El Khalili is a must see in Cairo as it is the oldest oriental market and the experience of bargaining and walking by ancient mosques and houses is something not to be missed.
A felucca (traditional sailboat) is quite a relaxing experience and soothing time during the day of your tour.

Michael contacted me evening before to confirm and arrived on time at the hotel with a driver. The itinerary was discussed and the day was superb. Michael’s knowledge of Cairo and the destinations was excellant and the team were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure the day passed perfectly. Highly recommend this tour you see everything in detail and skip all the lines. Really enjoyed the day and took loads of photos and memories thank you
Me and my gf from Denmark/Danmark visit Egypt between Christmas and new year, a bit cold during this week but still warmer than DK , We really enjoyed this tour guide especially the camel riding was fun Our guide was a woman and she was very kind and friendly, and she also speaks very good English, especially compared to the average Egyptian we came across during our trip You can pay to the entrance fee when you are at the pyramid, it isn’t that expensive and with student cards it is even cheaper (450 egp) the same goes for the museum (300 egp) Side note: The toilets in the museum doesn’t have toilet paper so have some on you if you are consumer of toilet paper during bathroom visits and you need to go around here
Manual was an exceptional guide on our tour! She knew a lot of information, was very genuine, helped us find amazing shawarma, and was very patient. If you book this tour, make sure you read that tickets are not included. Though it was affordable to get in, it was a little annoying lol.
Thanks to mimo and yasin we had a great time in egypt. We started our day at the pyramids, we then stopped at the museum where we saw king tut's mask, the bazaar, and ended our day at the nile. Mimo and Yasin made sure we were comfortable, took their time to wait for us when we wanted to shop, answered all our questions and hooked us up with the best shawarma and falafel in Cairo. Thank you so much mimo amd yasin for the unforgettable experience.
This was the best tour I took in Egypt. Zenab, my tour guide, was patient, not pushy, and spoke excellent English. She showed me unique spots and made the experience smooth. The driver was also kind and patient. Highly recommended, especially if you need a calm and chill guide. Plus, she’s a fantastic photographer!
Everything was awesome,a perfect way to see some of the most important things in Cairo.I liked that the program was somehow flexible.
This was by far the best tour I took in Egypt. My tour guide Fatima Muhammad was hads down the best tour guide I've met. She was very patient wasn't pushy at all. Her English was so good. Most tour guides I could barley understand. She took me to some amazing spots and helped me get by. The driver was also very patient and kind. I would highly recommend her. It was a calm day and I needed a chill tour guide. I wouldn't want anyone else. She was also an amazing photographer
For my last real day in Egypt I booked this tour to see the pyramid, Sphinx, the bazaar, Egyptian museum and to have a boat ride. To start off Nour my tour guide and Hussain (I think that’s how you spell it) met me at my hotel in which Nour greeted me as the driver opened the door for me. I was introduced to them both and Nour explained to me what we were going to do. So to start we went to the Giza pyramids which was fantastic. Nour was very knowledgeable and had a clear accent so that I could understand what he was saying about the pyramids and then I experienced the camel ride where the driver drove us to the sight of the ride. The camel ride was amazing having pictures taken and it wasn’t a bad price just need to remember to tip due to that’s how they make their money, but it was very good I thought I was going to fall off at one point 😂 but the camel guide reassured me. Anyways after we went to the Sphinx where Nour explained about the Sphinx and then we headed off to the Baazar. The Baazar was luckily not busy and we saw many shops there where you could get your souvenirs and the driver Hussain picked us up promptly when we were done. After the Baazar we went to the museum which was busy. Lucky we could still move and there you got to see different things but especially King Tuts the boy kings golden mask and what was buried with him. That you had to queue for but your not allowed to take pictures I’m afraid but Nour explained everything that we saw even saw a couple of mummies too which we could take pictures off and finally to finish the tour we went on a boat ride on the Nile which was very relaxing. After the tour Nour was dropped off and the driver Hussain dropped me back to my hotel promptly and walked me to the gate of the hotel to make sure I got there. I loved the experience and can’t rate the tour guide or driver enough for this chance to have this tour. Thank you.
What an amazing experience!!! It’s definitely a fully packed day my Guide irakie and his driver were awesome and cater to whatever I wanted to do . It’s definitely worth the money. The guide is super informative knows a lot of archaeological knowledge. The driver was super safe. I really really enjoy this tour!!! And he takes A ton of really good pictures options !!!
Had a great time in Giza and Cairo, our tour guide Memo, and driver Hany were so kind, they catered to our needs and focused on what our group wanted to do.
We had a wonderful day experiencing the magic of Egypt with Ashraf. He is very knowledgeable and provided the facts and has a great sense of humour. The Pyramids and museum were amazing and we enjoyed the visit to the Papyrus display and the tips on other sights to see while in Cairo. Would highly recommend this tour.
Arshraf and Michel guide us perfectly to the phyramids and museum without any stress of street venders!!! We all enjoyed the whole day and got unforgettable experiences riding camel around the Pyramids!!! Thanks Arshraf & Michel
Our guide/captain was Ashraf and the driver Michel from Tree of life tours. They were both nice guys that likes to make some funny jokes!! Ashraf sure has amazing knowledge about anything you see during the tour and Michel was a great driver(Ashraf will make a joke that he is the worst driver in Egypt😜). They also gave us a recommendation of a restaurant to go afterwords and the place was nice. They are not only good guide, you can ask them any tips for your whole trip.
Overall this tour was good. Our guide Mohammed was a really nice guy and knew his facts. He was funny and personable and gave us alot of information about Egypt. The tour stareted with the Pyramids which were amazing. We went early in the morning which was a great time to go. We saw the Spyinx and had a lovely camel ride. (please tip the camel guys, this is how they make a living). The next bit was the perfume factory which was not cool at all and an uncomfortable waste of time. We felt this and the Papyaras Paper place were unecessary tourist traps and we felt very pressured. We wasted about an hour and a half of our tour there and as a result did not get to spend enough time at the Museum. Lunch was good food and they tried very hard to provide for my daughter and I who are Coeliacs. There was plenty to eat and it was clean. All in all we had a good day and we really appreciated our guide who was a true professional.
We had a 20 hour layover in Cairo, so wanted to set up a day tour. Even though we didn’t know where we’d be staying until the last minute, the tour company connected us with our guide to make arrangements. Our guide, Ashraf, was excellent, as was Michel, the driver. The tour was adjusted to our preferences. Ashraf’s English is excellent, and his knowledge and interpretation of the sites was great. I had lots of questions about things both ancient and modern, and appreciated Ashraf’s insights. He helped us negotiate the hawkers, and took us to great local places for coffee and lunch... the best falafels! Thanks for a great introduction to Cairo!
Michael my tour guide was awesome. He was on time to pick up and very friendly. We went to the pyramids and was able to tell me a ton of history with his vast knowledge. Then went to the Sphinx. Took a camel ride. All while Michael was telling me stories about the area and the past. He was also taking great pictures for me. Then went to the bazzar, had some lunch. And then off to the museum where his knowledge of everything was able to give me a better experience than going alone. Great tour at your own pace. Highly recommend.
I decided to book this tour because I was traveling alone and my time was limited in Cairo. Fatma was an amazing tour guide from start to finish. She was early for our 8am pick up time, she went out of the way to ensure I had breakfast, so I would have energy for the full day. (which is not included in the tour, but goes to show you Fatma's caring personality) I would have to say that I was fortunate to get Fatma, she was so knowledgeable about everything from the Pyramids, Sphinx, to the Egyptian Museum. We even went to the papyrus museum and the Essences & Aromatherapy Shop, she was so patient. Lunch was a delicious feast! To top things off, Fatma takes the BEST pictures. I have so many to choose from I dont know which to share. I would recommend this tour 100% especially if you get Fatma as your guide.
Our guide was Fatima and she was truly one of the best guides I have had. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She made sure we had all our questions answered and would wait for all picture taking and paced to take in my bad leg. Would highly recommend her to others!!!
What an incredible experience! Our tour guide was Mohamed Goda and he was great ! His English was very good and he was easy to understand ! Mohamed was a great help throughout the entire day catering the day to exactly what we wanted. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and the history of Egypt. I learned a lot ! 11/10 would recommend this trip and asking for Mohamed Goda as your guide. This has truly inspired me to come back for more adventures with Mohamed by my side ! Also he’s a great photographer!
This was an amazing tour and we had an awesome guide! Mohamed was very informative and catered the tour to us! I highly recommend Mohamed!
We visited the Pyramid at Giza with our wonderful guide, Rasha. Rasha seemed very knowledgeable about Egyptian history. She certainly made our visit to the Pyramids and the Museum come alive with interesting stories and tidbits. While learning about Egyptian history, we also found out about her family and kids; she was able to make a human connection with us. We really appreciated the opportunity to glimpse at a normal Egyptian family and their daily life struggle. Good job Rasha!
Mina treats his guests Fairly, friendly, and perfectly. He is keen to make the tour is organized. He is organized, and very punctual. The tour program was was scheduled well, was on time. We didn't miss anything during the tour program. He is very humorous. I would recommend him to all my friends when they visit Egypt.
Amina should receive way over 5 stars as she was absolutely excellent. Her English was fluent, she has years of experience so she’s full of knowledge, she’s friendly & she made me feel as if I was meeting up a longtime friend here in Egypt to go explore for the day. I know she does this many times but she had such enthusiasm as I did for seeing the Pyramids for the first time in my life!! And then she went the extra mile! I had an upset stomach due to the night before and she made sure I ate something light for breakfast. She was checking on me throughout the day. She even went with me to the pharmacy to get some medication. At the end of the day she walked me to my hotel but a few minutes later she came back with snacks & a 7up for my stomach. I was so grateful because after a long day & with my tummy the way it was I had no energy to go back out & somehow she knew that. That’s why Amina deserves well over 5 stars ⭐️!! I’ve had many private tours this week & Amina is the top # 1 hands down. Thank you!! ❤️
We spent the whole day with Ashraf who picked us up at the exit of the elevator. He took care of us in the best way possible giving us many tips to use within the city. We visited the Pyramids in Giza and had some of the best explanations available there. After the pyramids he made sure we had the best Camels to ride for approximately 30 minutes before he took us to a Papyrus institution and then to eat local Egyptian food. We then directed ourselves to the museum where he showed us the necessary objects and made sure we had the best explanation. He also answered all our questions with amazing description! Lastly he took us to the Bazaar where we saw the many shops and then had coffee with locals. He then made sure we were brought back safe with our great driver! Thank you very much Ashraf!!!
My husband and I cannot stress enough how wonderful an experience we had on this tour. Rasha was not only prompt, knowledgeable and professional, but she was also friendly, helpful and caring. She went above and beyond to ensure we saw all the best there is to see in Cairo. Rasha provided a personalized “no-rush” experience and took the coolest pics for us in front of the pyramids and the Sphinx. Rasha really shined (and showed her expert knowledge of Egyptology) when we visited the Cairo Museum. So, if you want the experience of a lifetime, and especially if you’re a bit pressed for time in Egypt, book this tour and ask for Rasha!!
Me and my husband had a great day visiting the pyramids, the museum and shopping at the bazaar. This tour included riding the camel, which was amazing. Our guide, Rasha, was awesome and help us get good deals when shopping. This tour is a must when visitong Cairo. Thank you guys so much for making my stay unforgettable.
I did 8 hour tour throughout Cairo and museum plus grand Bazar. My tour guid was Fatima. She had very broad knowledge of ancient Egyptian history and she explained all well and patiently. She has great sense of humor and she is a great photographer as well. I tried others tour guilds but Fatima is the most energetic and friendly one. Thanks Fatima for making my trip more enjoyable and unforgettable. Kiss Hasna
My friend and I came to visit Cairo only for a few days and decided to book one of your tours. Our tour guide Radwan, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and willing to go the extra mile to make our day complete (even took the time to take us to an essential oils and perfume bazaar for my friend to purchase Jasmine oil) We enjoyed learning more about the Egyptian Ancient civilisation and honestly didn't want the tour to end. Thank you so much Radwan, for this amazing day... 10 stars (if that's even possible) and hope to book again next time we visit Egypt. Also thanks to Pyramid Land Tours for calling during the day to check on how we were enjoying the tour. I am impressed with the service. Thanks!
From the start to finish it was such an amazing day. My tour guide Rasha was very knowledgeable with the rich history of the Pyramids and the museum history as well. She was great!! I would recommend her to anyone taking this tour.
This tour does everything it says on the tin! Driver was arranged all day, tour included the Pyramids, lunch overlooking them, The Egyptian Museum and a bezaar, with entry fees all paid. Our guide was great, very polite and seemed to have a good relationship with the various entry points. This took all stress away from the day and allowed us to relax.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Amina, the guide, was knowledgable, warm and friendly whilst driver Emad showed remarkable skills in the Cairo traffic. The best about this tour was the flexibility to.allocate our time according to our priorities. I would unreservedly recommend this tour and Amina and Emad to anyone visiting Cairo.
I had a great private eight-hour tour with Fatma Mohammed. Her English and knowledge of the various sites were excellent. We started with the Pyramids, where I even got to go inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, through the Grand Gallery to the Tomb Chamber that contained the granite sarcophagus that once contained Khufu's mummy. Afterwards I had a 20-min camel ride, with the three Pyramids in the background - the camel was very well trained and tame, like a big dog who enjoyed getting his head scratched afterwards. Then we visited the Great Sphinx. After a very tasty lunch at a local restaurant, she took me on a tour of the Egyptian Museum, with knowledge and commentary on the many relics, including many from 5000 years ago, which included the many items buried with King Tut. We finished at the Cairo Bazaar, where you can buy anything you can imagine - and haggling is part of the charm! Throughout the tour she was able to answer any questions I had. She also took photos of me at each of the sites. Strongly recommended.
The eight-hour tour to the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum was the perfect, memorable first-day introduction to Egypt. It provides just the right amount of sightseeing--not too much, not too little--at several of the area's key landmarks. With that initial taste, one can make a decision about if and where to circle back on a future tour or visit. I especially enjoyed the camel ride at the pyramids. My guide, Radwan, was thoughtful, insightful, and entertaining. He provided the right balance of background, history, and context--without information overload. He also snapped photos and provided recommendations for other tours. I highly recommend him and the tour!
We had a fantastic time seeing the pyramids, sphinx, Egyptian museum and bazaar. Our guide Ashraf was very friendly, knowledgeable and was very easy to understand. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo, especially with Ashraf.
Amazing tour takes you to the best locations for pictures and amazing views of the Pyramids. My guide Rasha was really informative and answered all my questions. Really good tour would deff do it when i come back
Ist day of tour: We were welcomed warmly by our one of the tour guide Mina He assisted us to take visa from the immigration officers of Egypt borders..and finally we were introduced by the whole team headed by Yassher our main tour guide and two drivers 2nd day of tour It was magnificient, whole day time well spent with our tour guide Yasher, highly intelligent man, he gaved us a short lectures about every places we went with full patience also assisted us with our needs from small things to whatever we needed..he is also a professional photographer willingly extend his service to us Places visited: > nile river at sunrise, boating over the wonderful calm green water > amazing salah el din' fortress and Mohamed Ali mosque (Egyptian military museum) located on top of a hill > Egyptian museum of antiques astonished to see real mummies, jewelries many more arts and crafts of their rich culture back to early civilization with their kings and queens >papyrus factory, short lectures given how paper from papyrus produced, several samples of paintings in it > marvellous great Pyramid of Giza the high lights of our tour and just below of it stands sphinx > visit to the main essential oil exporting company, had several samples from them 100% pure oil > Avr = touring around the area of great pyramid of giza > during the night had a great time ,went to nile cruising seen wonderful traditional dances, dinner was good appeticing one! Back to our hotel to spend the night
Ibraham was the most knowledgeable tour guide and we truly had the best time in egypt because of him. He was so friendly and fun but also taught us so much about egypt's history and culture. I would recommend anyone coming to egypt to do this tour, and if so definitely ask for him! You will not regret it
Ashraf is a nice and professional guide, is well informed about the cultural history of Egypt and very professional in his work,
This was one of the best tours I’ve been on. We were picked up on time, Manar was very educational on everything pyramids, pharaohs kings and ancient Egypt. She explained everything thoroughly and made it enjoyable. Also she took us to some local stores which I thought was amazing and showed us around we got to stop of and drink fresh sugar cane juice, which was refreshing. Overall this experience was very fun and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to explore the pyramid.
As a solo female traveller I was a bit on the fence about touring around Cairo and Giza alone, so I took a chance and booked this tour as it had great reviews! Let me tell you, my guide and certified Egyptologist, Bassem did not disappoint! He is literally amazing! His knowledge of literally everything Egypt will blow you away (we even had other guides stop to ask him questions they did not know), he knows everyone and this will totally be in your favor, and he will watch over you (but not smother). Not to mention he wasn’t just in time to my hotel, but early and waited patiently for me as I was running behind. The private tour is absolutely the way to go as you are moved from point to point in a private, clean, new car, with an excellent driver and Bassem! I almost chose another one (on a bus) and I am so glad I didn’t! Don’t waste your time on being bussed around and standing in line for tickets for everything! Those people looked miserable! Lastly, Bassem is a fabulous photographer! As I was traveling alone he offered to take photos for me and used my DSLR with ease! He’s had formal training and was incredibly generous to share this skill. I got professional quality photos that I will treasure forever! Book this tour with Bassem!!!!!
An amazing day in Cairo covering the pyramids, a first time camel ride, Sphinx, Egyptian museum, a perfumery, papyrus making store, the local bazaar. Our tour guide Radwan was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. He gave us so much relevant information about the history and culture dating back to 5000 years ago that helped us understand this amazing country. It was over 8 hours and he didn’t rush us at any point and ensured we were well taken care of. Thank you for our amazing experience of Egypt!
This was our first visit to Cairo, and it couldn't have been better. We were greeted by Manar at our hotel and knew immediately it was going to be a great day. She obviously loves Cairo and has endless knowledge regarding its history and culture. Very interesting day!
Radwan was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful as well as flexible with whatever we wanted to do throughout the day. Highly recommend. Only thing I would say is when I booked this tour on viator, the voucher says lunch at a restaurant overlooking stunning views of the Sphinx. Really inaccurate. We had lunch at a cafe type place and it wasn’t very nice at all. Other than that, everything was great.
Our tour to the pyramids in Giza was unforgettable. Our guide Amal has to be one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever met. We travel a lot and we know a good guide when we see one. She knew soo much history it would be crazy not to enjoy such a tour. Me and my wife only spent a couple of days in Cairo but this tour was one of the best. If you are a history buff and have always wondered about the Egyptian empire, Amal is the guide for you.
My brother and I had an 8 hour tour that was absolutely incredible! Our tour guide, Mira, was kind, educated, and spoke very good english. She gave us plenty of free time to explore each space and was very knowledgable about all the locations we visited. We always felt safe, welcomed, and intrigued at each stop on our tour. Not only did Mira take us to the big attractions (the pyramids, the sphinx, and Egyptian museum), but she also took us to small shops around Cairo to support local businesses. The lunch provided was amazing and we overall had an incredible day. I would recommend this safe, fun, and educational tour to anybody considering!
Great day out. Rasha was knowledgeable, but also allows you time to yourself to walk about as you want. Would recommend her.
We had so much fun with our guide Mony! She was so knowledgeable and interactive with us. She made sure we saw all the important things, got all the pictures we needed and always asked if we were ok or needed anything. We are recommending her to our friends coming later in the year, she was the best tour guide we have had while on this trip.
We had an absolutely amazing time on our tour with Ashraf. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and was willing to tailor the tour to what we wanted to do
Had a great time on our first day exploring. Our party of 6 was treated like royalty - we toured the pyramids and took incredible jaw-dropping pictures!! After, we saw the making of papyrus paper and was once again in awe. We took some time and ended up bringing home a few great pieces of art - our salesclerk was very accommodating considering how indecisive we are. Following, we had a delicious lunch. Since the day was named one of the hottest days in Egypt history, Yasser was able to make arrangements to move our schedule around to spend less time out in the scorching sun. After cooling off at lunch, we drove to the museum to grasp more about Egypt and mummy history. Then, we spent time learning about perfume and scents. That was a fun and interesting experience so we brought home a few bottles of different oils! Again, our salesclerk was accommodating. All in all, the private tour was amazing and we have absolutely no complaints!! Yasser is super intelligible and informative about e v e r y t h i n g - not to mention outgoing and kind! Can’t wait for day 2...
