I booked the tour with the agency but the never showed up! In the morning of the trip, I sent several messages through Viator application and by email but they never bother to answer. They let me waiting at the hotel lobby and almost lost the day doing nothing.... I contacted the support of Viator and they were very helpfull saving my day arranging the trip with another agency. To avoid absolutely!!

Our guide, Tifa was wonderful. A great conossieur of Egyptology told us a lot of information about the Egyptian civilization and took us to the best area for lovely pictures.

I would never have had the tremendous experience of Giza pyramids without Aly Elsheemy. Walk near by the pyramids and can talk on any subject, from Egypt’s ancient empire to current events and recommendations (i.e. natural oils) with him. Aly Elsheemy is friendly, easy going and is very knowledgeable about Giza pyramids and ancient world. He pointed out details which were very subtle. He went out of his way to tailor the tour to my interests. I would not pass up the opportunity to tour with Aly. Aly Elsheemy is the best tour guide, my experience with him was as great as the great pyramid of Giza.

Although my experience of Luxor was more phenomenal than Cairo (Pyramids of Giza), I still thoroughly enjoyed my tour. Eman was a fantastic tour guide and her Ancient Egyptian knowledge was great. Overall I had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend visiting the Pyramids of Giza if you're interested in ancient architecture and ancient timelines. 9/10

Booked this tour through booking.com and couldn’t be happier with the experience my brother and I had. Our tour guide Nour and driver Saad were fantastic, they both had great knowledge of the areas we visited and were able to answer question about absolutely everything too. Nour was friendly, informative and made the whole experience extra fun. We managed to hit every historical site we wanted to all in one day. Great tour with an excellent tour guide, thank you Nour and Saad!

Mohamed El Wazir was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and funny. The pace of the tour was just right. I never felt rushed or forced to stay anywhere longer than I wanted. He took some really great quality pictures of me as well. I am looking forward to utilizing his services for another tour tomorrow.

We had a great day with Youssef as our guide. My traveling companion was an archaeologist and we had both done our homework before taking this trip. Our guide recognized that we were very much interested in a more educational experience and tailored the tour and our experience based upon our interests. The trip was well-planned and all our needs were taken care of during the day.

The guide never showed up to pick me up for this tour. I texted and called the agency several times, without any answer. I contacted them days before to confirm, and they didn't reply. They complete ignored me. It was my first day in Egypt and they just left me stranded. Luckily my hotel managed to arrange a last minute guide for me and I still had a good time and managed to see the pyramids. I am in the process of requesting a refund and talking to Viator about this experience as this tour is a scam, they take your money but don't show up.

We ordered the tour to pick us up at our hotel at 8am and received a confirmation for the times and tour itinerary. The driver and guide never arrived. I began contacting them at 7:45am to tell them our location in the hotel lobby with no response. I frequently tried to contact them with the contact information provided and our concierge attempted to contact them multiple times by phone. We did this until 9:20am. We then decided to take an Uber to the pyramids and do a makeshift tour of our own as we didn’t want to waste our day in the lobby of our hotel. We ended up having a good time on our own despite the hiccups. It’s unfortunate that the tour didn’t happen, it looked fantastic based on the reviews. It unfortunately didn’t work out for us. It was also more upsetting that the company has not gotten a hold of me at all to apologize, especially since the What’s App messages have been read. No ‘I'm so sorry, there was a miscommunication’ or something. I have already put in for a refund, as this tour never happened.

The guide spoke very fast and with very weird English so it was hard to understand, then he gave me a guilt trip because I tipped him the same as driver and he didn’t have enough money for his child’s treatment. The driver was really nice though

Had an absolutely fantastic informative day with Ahmed Elsayed. He is so knowledgeable and showed us all the best places to take photos. Such a wonderful day and extremely good value.

The experience has been incredible, the guide Moahmed Mahmoud does everything possible to make the day great, he helps with everything and explains everything very well in a fun way, he has a great knowledge of history and adapted perfectly to our requests, he Driver Bassam fares very polite and attentive always opening the car door and with a pleasant smile. an unforgettable experience thanks to these two great people.

Sarah was a great guide. She had a masters in Egyptian history. The driver was always there. Private trip is the way to go.

Overall the tour was good for the exception of being taken to a few stops that were not part of the itinerary (perfume shop, papryus paper shop) where we were met with a sales pitch to buy their products. Our guide Amir was really great, knowledgeable, and was a wonderful photographer. He was patient, answered all of our questions and never rushed us through any of the sites. Would 100% recommend him as your tour guide.

Tour guide was 2 hours late, which delayed our day and made the tour guide rush us through, especially the most important site at Giza. Iman Morsey pressured me to write a review during lunch, which was very unprofessional. We have taken many trips with Trip Advisor and always have had enjoyed them, until this one. She also wanted to take us to a Papyrus factory ( this was interesting but high pressure sales) and a Perfume factory (we refused), as they get kick backs from these places. She wanted us to spend more time there than at the cultural sites that we came to see. We did get some cute pictures. The highlights were that we got to go to all of the sites, got to go inside the Red Pyramid, ride a camel, and had a very good lunch (great Kofta and soup). I would recommend this with a different guide and tour group. This one was by Bes Egypt Tours.

Excellent overall experience with A very knowledgeable guide, Mimo, and a great driver. The tour was flexible to accommodate our needs making it a unique experience.

Paula was a fantastic guide, and so thorough. We got to see everything in Dahshur and Saqqara with lots of interesting history and plenty of time for photos. Best of all, Paula was incredibly flexible and helpful; he even went down into the depths of the Bent Pyramid with me (NOT for the faint of heart or weak of legs, btw -- I'm still sore) while my dad wisely walked around outside. We had so much fun exploring all the sites, and even my dad enjoyed shopping. If you end up going to the oil factory, don't miss the hibiscus juice! And don't miss out on traveling with Paula!

The tour was really wonderful. Tour guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Definitely recommend this guide. There was a little confusion on entry ticket charges. I had already paid it; but I was told during the tour that it wasn't paid. And I had to pay it. In the meantime, I raised a query with Viator and they confirmed that it was paid. So I got my money back. But such things disturbs your sightseeing. Hope Viator would take care of such things in future. The only thing that we didn't like was the weather :) Try not to come during summers. It will really make your tour a little tough. Or else everything was superb and well organized by Viator

Very good experience. Ahmed our guide was very kind with us and comprehensive. I play the photographer in order we can have the best memory of our trip. We recommend 👌. The landscapes were beautiful and we never get bored. Fantastic

I felt that our guide was going at an appropriate pace and gave us great recommendations of what and what not to see. I really enjoyed him and felt that he enjoyed our company too.

Summary of the story below: Bes Egypt Tours stood us up after confirming THREE separate times and then wasted more of our morning by falsely promising that somebody was on their way to get us. We called Bes Egypt Tours directly and booked the “9 hour experience of Giza Pyramids…” tour 6 days in advance. The guy on the phone said we were confirmed and that he would text us the name of our driver and tour guide over WhatsApp. A day later, when we hadn’t received a text, we called him again and he said “yes I remember you, your booking is confirmed, you will be picked up in the lobby of your hostel at 9am. I will text you when I am done driving”. Two days later, still no text, we called again and he remembered us and told us a third time that we were confirmed and promised that someone would be there in our hostel lobby at 9am. Nobody showed up. We called the same number a bunch of times with no answer. At 9:30, he picked up and said the driver would be there by 10:15 and he’ll give us half price for the trouble (it was clear he never booked our tour and was just sending someone out right then). We were bummed to start so late (there is a lot to see and the heat can get bad in the afternoon) but we accepted. By 11:00, nobody was there and so we told him we were canceling and left to make something of our failed morning. Eventually, a driver started texting us saying he was here and we could still make the tour and blaming us for “booking last minute”. Many of the pyramid sites close at 4:00 pm, so at that point there wasn’t even enough time to have a so-called “9 hour experience”.

Yasser was an amazing guide. He was very energetic and insightful. The tour of the pyramids was so happy interesting and the camel ride was a great new experience!

Our guide Mona was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. Our driver Saeed was just as good. Would recommend this experience to everyone. We went to Dahshur, Memphis, Saqqara and Giza plateau. Our hosts were excellent and very accommodating to all our requests and needs.

BEST tour ever! Everyone should take the advantage of this awesome package since it won’t be available for ever! ;) Our driver was Mr. Said and our tour guide was Gamil/Jimmy. Car was clean and Mr. Said drove very steadily, he was also always nearby so whenever we are done with one site he’s there to pick us up right away which was very convenient especially under this hot weather! Gamil is the best tour guide yet! In the business for so long he pretty much knew everyone everywhere we went lol obviously he was very knowledgeable; not only did Gamil explained the historical backgrounds of all the attractions we’ve visited but we were also able to learn the modern Egyptian society in an interesting way driving around the city, he’s considerate and so kind we were very comfortable throughout the whole trip and we really didn’t have to worry about a thing! We were so proud of the choice we made to book this trip and very thankful for Gamil we are going to recommend him to every friend we meet here :D

The tour was fast specially at the great pyramid of Giza, the guide walked really fast that he was very far away from as not guiding at all. and the 30 minute camel ride was more like 10 minute. The guide will take you to shops like papyrus shop and oil shop or cotton shop that you didn’t ask for for a pressure to buy which I didn’t and if it was the company policy should’ve been disclosed since the begning and if I pay for 9 hour tour guide I would’ve loved to enjoy it and use the hours I paid for that service not for you guys to take me shopping. Not saying those places are not nice but I didn’t ask for them nor it was mentioned in the listing. Our guide Mohammed or Mahamed(Ahmed) speak good English but felt like his eyes was in finishing the tour fast so he can go shopping!

Mohamed Mahmoud is an excellent guide. He picked us up on time and made sure we are comfortable all the time. He bought us snacks and took wonderful pictures. The tour is a wonderful way to see ancient Egypt. Driver Medhat is a good driver with a nice and clean car.

It was a magnificent day. Our guide Bossy was knowledgeable with great sense of humor. She arrived on time and this helped us make the most of our day. She understood the value of good memories and took lots of nice photos with panoramic views and shared them with us. She also explained to us our lunch options and helped us choose a good restaurant with a good spot. Our driver was also great.

This tour was incredible. Ibrahim is one of the kindest persons I’ve ever met and treated me like a brother. He taught me so much and he was very patient. Awesome experience! Our Tour guide Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! He took us to all of the cool spots and explained the history behind it. Even the lunch stop was delicious

The driver and guide were on time, and made wonderful (and successful) suggestions to avoid the worst of the traffic at the major sites. She was very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor, and made the most of our time. She clearly has a passion for history. I would highly recommend this tour.

From the minute Mohamed picked us up from our accommodation we felt like we were in good hands. As a Cairo local he shared lots of knowledge of all the sites we visited and any questions we had along the way. We felt we had a fantastic overview of the pyramids, Egyptian history and mythology. There were options to spend longer or shorter at certain sites, we visited some local businesses but never felt pressured to make a purchase. A really full day tour leaving at 8am and getting back at 6pm was exactly what we were looking for. Mohamed had great energy and enthusiasm the whole day and made sure we had fun.

This tour is fantastic if you'd want to visit all major pyramids Egypt. We started the day by visiting the pyramids of Giza and the Sphynx, after which we stopped at an antiquities place where you can make your own name in a cartouche in silver or in gold (that was cool). After lunch we continued to Sakkara and Dahshour where we got to see the bent pyramid, the step pyramid, and got to enter one of the pyramids (very nice experience). We also got to visit a papyrus store where they show you how they make it. The tour company is very professional and our guide Khaled Mamdouh was great sharing his passion and telling us all about ancient Egypt stories. He was not the type of guide who pushes you towards buying things or seeing an attraction that needed extra payment, he gives you the choice and advises you and lets you decide which was very good of him. And of course he was always welcoming of any question that hit our minds :)

Great day out, got to go inside two pyramids. Our guide was very friendly, full of good information and provided us with plenty of water to deal with the heat. We missed breakfast so he took us for a typical Egyptian breakfast that was beautiful and had us full for the day. Would highly recommend

This was the best tour I've ever been on!!! Ahmed Elsayed Abdelhamed was a fantastic guide. All of the pyramids (red, bent, step, Giza) Memphis, an amazing traditional lunch, camel ride, and more! I never once had to ask Ahmed to take my picture, because he was always ahead of me on asking to take pictures for me. He knew the best places to get good pics and fun poses to do as well!! You CANNOT beat the price for this tour. Would recommend a hundred times over!!!
