Our guide was Hend and she made our experience wonderful, relaxed and insightful. Hend is extremely knowledgeable on all Egyptian history and explains it to you in a very understandable way. Her English is outstanding and she is just a very nice person to be with. Do not hesitate to ask for Hend if you are booking with Eygpt Tailor Made Tours. We did two days with Hend - firstly the Giza pyramids, The Sphinx and the GEM. And second day we did Memphis, Saqqara and Dashur. I’d recommend those two full days to anyone that is uncertain- Tailor Made Tours were flexible is arranging that itinerary. Our driver Shaaban was very a very good navigator and courteous as well.

I had a fantastic experience visiting the pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur with Sabry I was traveling solo, and Sabry picked me up directly from my hotel with a private driver, making everything smooth and easy from the very beginning. Sabry was incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the day, gave great advice and adapted the visit to my pace and interests. Starting early was an excellent recommendation, as we managed to avoid the crowds and really take our time exploring these incredible sites. We did 2 full days of private touring, exploring Saqqara, Dahshur, Memphis and Giza with Heba (our guide) and Hossain (our driver). Heba was amazing--warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She engaged all three of us every step of the way, including our 12-yr-old daughter. Can't recommend highly enough. And Hossain was also terrific--always polite with a smile on his face, and a professional driver.

A good value since it included all the admission fees, but price is obviously negotiable because they tailored the experience to fit what we wanted to do as opposed to just having a set program. Further more, the team set up additional transfers from my other locations, so it’s a one-stop shop for your travel needs within Egypt.

Flawless from start to finish! Everything from the airport pickup to our visits and explorations at the pyramids, tombs, and GEM was wonderfully organized. Our guide, Heba, went far beyond our expectations. She was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke perfect, fluent English. Our favorite highlights were the noble tombs at Saqqara, the Bent Pyramid, and the unbelievable Serapeum. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My wife and I booked this tour for the day of our arrival in Cairo before a guided group tour through Egypt that started the following day. We had great communications with Egypt Tailor Made tours from start to finish. They had a representative meet us as we got off the plane and assisted us with getting our visa and walking us through immigration. He then ensured we met our private driver for the tour. This really made things very easy for us. Our driver picked up our guide, Heba, along the way. We were at The Great Pyramids of Gizq right as they opened up. Awesome timing!!! We can't say enough great things about our guide Heba. She is a fountain of information and seems to know how to read her clients and give the perfect amount of information. We learned so much!! She took many great pictures and made our 1st day in Egypt very special. We continued on to Saqqara which turned out to be our favorite location. Seeing the Step Pyramid along with amazing art filled burial tombs was amazing. Saqqara is not to be missed. Our next stop was Dahshur. We followed Heba's great advice and climbed down into the Red Pyramid which was easier than going into the Bent Pyramid. Our final stop of the day was to pick up lunch which was included in the tour price. She recommended both the standard falafel wrap and one that included eggplant. Both were fresh and amazing. She even got us some Egyptian baklava for desert. We were driven back into Cairo and dropped off at our hotel. Our driver was amazing all day and an expert at driving through the insane Cairo traffic. He also kept our luggage safe throughout the day. This was a perfect introduction to Cairo all thanks to Egypt Tailor Made tours and most importantly, Heba!! She was truly amazing and one of the best guides we have ever had. We hope to tour with her agan. She even made sure we didnt miss the tail on the backside of The Great Sphinx (inside joke).

My first full day in Egypt could not have been better. Sabry was an outstanding guide from beginning to end. We started at the Pyramids of Giza, including going inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu, followed by the Sphinx, Saqqara and Dahshur. Sabry has an incredible knowledge of Egyptian history, but what really sets him apart is the way he tells the story. He made thousands of years of history easy to understand, interesting and entertaining. He also knew exactly how to navigate each site, which made the entire day feel relaxed and never rushed. Our driver was excellent as well—professional, punctual and incredibly skilled at navigating Cairo traffic. The car was always ready when we needed it, and I felt completely comfortable throughout the day. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how personalized the experience felt. There were no unwanted shopping stops or tourist traps—the entire day was focused on experiencing the history and seeing what I came to Egypt to see. An incredible introduction to Egypt and easily a five-star experience. I would absolutely recommend requesting Sabry.

We were in Cairo for four full days. Hend and our driver [Ishmael] were with us the entire time. Hend was fantastic! She's extremely knowledgeable and told us a great deal about Egyptian history and culture as we saw the various spots we visited. She also went above and beyond her duties as a tour guide - helping us bargain at the markets, taking us to a wonderful cafe around the markets that made the best sandwiches, taking us to a high quality perfume and oil place as well as a jewelers where we could get custom jewelery with our names engraved in hieroglyphics, taking us to a carpet school where we saw how quality rugs were made, and she always helped make sure we were getting quality items at a fair price. I had hurt my foot pretty badly just before arriving in Cairo. Hend was instrumental in us getting permission to have Ishmael drive us to the pyramids in our van [instead of us having to stand in line and take the bus] so that I'd have a cool place to sit if the walking became too much, and at every stop we made Ishmael made sure to come help me out of our van. Then, when other members of the party got sick, Hend also took us to the pharmacy and helped us get the right medicine. These are just some reasons I'd recommend this tour company [and this guide specifically]. We had a wonderful time in Cairo, and I'd love to come back some day.

Was really fun and fascinating to see the pyramids and to learn about all the history about ancient egypt. My tour guide Hend and the driver Ishmil were awesome with helping us grab food, teaching us about all the sights, taking us to pharmacies when we were sick, being on time , and helping us bargain prices. They also took us to recommended spots for buying and were really nice to us which all made my experience the best.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and full of information about every site. We would highly recommend him.

Heba was an amazing tour guide! She took great pictures and showed us everything we wanted to see. Very informative and friendly, my wife and I felt very safe the entire time.

We had a great experience on our tours, we did the two areas over 2 days which I can recommend if travelling as a family with youngish children, rather than cramming into 1 day. We got lucky with the weather and smaller crowds and really enjoyed the different places and information we were given around the history and detail of it all. It was well organised and comfortable and we would recommend ETM to other travellers.

What stood out most was his personality—he had a witty, warm vibe that we immediately connected with, and by the end, he genuinely felt like an Egyptian brother to us. He was very patient, always attentive to our pace and interests, and took us to hidden spots that we wouldn’t have discovered with a typical tourist group. The guides in other locations were also very good, professional, and knowledgeable. However, if there were an option to have Sabry guide us in Aswan and Luxor as well, we would absolutely choose that in a heartbeat 😄. The driver accompanying Sabry was equally professional, and the communication between them and with us was always prompt and seamless. We always felt taken care of. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this travel partner—especially if you get the chance to explore Cairo with Sabry!

Amazing private tour experience through the wonderful pyramids thanks to our guide Heba and driver Mustafa. Organization and atmosphere were perfect. As we also could visit each site at a different tempo than crowded groups, we could not imagine a better way to visit the pyramids.

We had a fantastic time visiting the great pyramids and seeing saqqara’s tombs and temples. Our guide hend could not be more knowledgeable, she was incredibly detailed in her descriptions and explanations of Egyptian culture, history and traditions. Fascinating trip to the pyramids of Dashur, Sakkara and Giza, as well as the Sphinx, with excellent guide Mr Ahmed Suliman who was very knowledgeable and informative, as well as speaking superb English, and being patient in answering loads of questions. The day was very well organised, and driver Mr Gaddafi was extremely efficient, pleasant, and a safe driver on busy roads. Highly recommended!

We were hosted by the most wonderful dynamic duo Wessam (guide) and Kazafi (driver) for a fully packed day exploring all major pyramids. Both were super friendly and welcoming. Wessam shared with us lots of knowledge and stories behind the pyramids, we learned so much. Kazafi bought us to-go lunches during Ramadan, it was the best falafel ever! The only regret we had was adding an additional activity to ride the carriage. The carriage driver (don't know the name) was pretty pushy and horrible at taking photos. He made me go on a camel when I told him I didn't want to then made us tip him when we didn't want to. The camel also spat all over my camera. I would say this portion is entirely skippable.

We used Egypt Tailor Made Tours for this trip. Here in Cairo our tour guide was Hend, she was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and accommodating (and flexible to our needs). We toured the Giza Pyramids, GEM, Citadel, Mosque, Churches and Synagogue plus the 600+ year old market. The last day we toured Dachur, Memphis and Sakkara. Hend was with us all the way and shared details of all sights. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport as well as to and from our hotel every day. It was a seamless experience. Our driver Kdafi was also excellent and very pleasant. I would highly recommend using this service, this guide and this driver for a positive experience.

Naama was an excellent tour guide! We had a great time and everything went smoothly. Be aware though that they will take you to a jewelry and papyrus shop which are not on the itinerary. It would be a lot better if they were just upfront about this instead of sneaking it in.

We had a wonderful day with Mr Sabry and Mohamed the driver. His knowledge of the subject is phenomenal and he keeps up with all the most recent developments. He uses his knowledge to give such clear and informative explanations. We cannot recommend him more highly.

We were really excited about our private tour of the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara and Dashur, and had high expectations - particularly after reading lots of positive reviews. We certainly were not disappointed. It was the best private tour we've been on! Both our driver and guide were excellent, and the transport was clean and very comfortable. The communication we received a few days before the tour was great. Then, on the morning of the tour, we were met at our hotel by Sabry, our Egyptologist for the day. We could not have had a better guide. From the moment we met him, Sabry was super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for Egyptology was infectious. It turned out that Sabry is also a wonderful photographer and helped us capture some great photos of our day (thank you!). We visited the Giza pyramids first, which enabled us to enjoy a quiet visit before the crowds arrived (it was a Friday). We then enjoyed time at Saqqara, where we were shown a beautiful tomb that some tour groups seemed to miss, and Dashur, where we went inside the red pyramid. Our priority was to explore the sites and learn as much as we could. So, we really appreciated it that there was no pressure to visit the papyrus making places or go on camel rides. The option is there though if that's something you are looking for. We had chosen the option with the guide, driver and tickets included, which was definitely the right option for us and gave us the flexibility to choose when and what to have for lunch. Sabry picked us up some delicious falafel flatbreads, which we really enjoyed. If we'd have had more time in Egypt we would have loved to have done another tour with Sabry. The only problem is that we're not sure how future guides are going to match him!! We are already talking about returning to Egypt and visiting Luxor. If so, we will certainly be looking at booking through Tailor Made again.

Mindblowing, educational, and just plain fun! We had a wonderful experience of Egypts many wonders. Mr Sabry has deep knowledge and could answer any question that our history-loving group could throw at him. His genuine passion for Egyptian culture enthused us all. Energetic, charming, with an impish sense of humor, Mr Sabry is also very kind and generous. By far the best guide we have ever had.

My guide and Egyptologist, Mohab, and driver, Shaban, were excellent. Mohab’s knowledge is vast and he is very interesting and extremely affable. Shaban is careful and kind and drove me from the airport as well, always with a big hello! I wish I could have them throughout my travels.

Our tour guide, Heba, was exceptional. If we could give her a seven instead of five stars, we would. Of course, we had many questions regarding Egyptian history all of which she answered providing rich detail. This day trip of the pyramids at Saqqarq, Dahshur and Giza was amazing. Being able to go inside pyramids and see hieroglyphics on the wall was truly special. Seeing the scale of these incredible structures and get an understanding of the building off the pyramids developed by visiting all of these sites was fascinating. The whole experience was made even better by our fantastic guide, Sabry, and brilliant driver Mustafa. Sabry’s knowledge and passion for the history made everything all the more interesting. My guide Othman was the most attentive & knowledgeable/ caring guide I've ever encountered! He treated me as his daughter which was really nice as a female solo traveller at Christmas time! I cannot recommend him enough. He helped me barter for great prices. The tour was great, three amazing sites visited and the tastiest food provided! The driver, Mustafa was also a true gentleman, waiting patiently and opening the door for me at every opportunity. Plenty of water provided.

I had an amazing day at the pyramids in Saqqara, Dahshur, and Giza. Sabry was an excellent guide, sharing many stories that helped bring the history to life, plus insisted on taking many photographs for me to have memories to share (and make my friends jealous). After reading reviews and blogs we came across Egypt Tailor Made tours. From our first communications with Naglaa it was clear that she was going to help us create a great itinerary to meet our requirements. We were encouraged to book our own hotels which helped with budgeting. Entrance fees we payed on the day, so we could choose what we wanted to see, this gave us plenty of flexibility. From the date we booked, we had access to Egypt Tailor Made tours through Naglaa. she was always on hand to answer any questions and change finer points of our intinery a couple of times. A few days before the tour a WhatsApp group was created so that we could talk to the admin staff and guides. This made us feel safe. We were picked up at Cairo and helped with getting our visa which seemed far easier than getting the visas online before we flew. We were also helped through immigration. We arranged a 9 day private tour, which included split with two different guides. In Cairo and Giza we were fortunate to have Sabry as our guide.  Egypt has always been on our bucket list, we had so many questions. Sabry’s knowledge of Egypt is immense. It was clear he is passionate about his country and this enthusiasm transferred to us. He answered all our questions and advised us on what to see during our 3 day private tour, which included Saqqara, Dhashur, Memphis, GEM, Pyramids of Giza and Coptic Cairo. He had a different personality to our guide in Cairo, but again it was clear that he was passionate about his country and was very knowledgeable. The more we talked to him, it was clear to him that we were genuinely interested and he told us some great stories and theories. We enjoyed Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna, followed by Luxor both East and West Bank. A lot of praise goes to Hussain our driver, he did a lot of driving whilst we napped in the car. Our overall experience was really positive with Egypt Tailor Made tours. We are usually independent travellers, but Egypt isn’t a country I wanted to DIY as there is so much rich history. We saw groups of tourist trying to keep up with there guides and many tourists wandering around but to get the best I recommend a private tour. We didn’t have to go to any shopping trip detours or unnecessary lunch stops, instead we were treated to some sites which a lot of tourists never get to see.
