Visit the most famous structure in the world was built by King Cheops (IV dynasty) around 2650 B.C. on an area of 13 acres. Its height now is 137 m (originally, it was 146 m). Almost 2.5 million blocks of stone were put into building this pyramid, which measure 230 m square at the base. Close to the eastern flank of the Pyramid of Cheops lay three small pyramids dedicated either pyramids to his wives or family members. The second pyramid and its Valley Temple are belonging to the king Chephren. The mysterious Sphinx which represents the king with a lion body and a human face is guarding the area. Penetrating the interior of the great pyramid of Cheops is allowed. And finally you will visit one of the papyrus galleries located in pyramids area.

The experience was memorable and undoubtedly a key highlight of the holiday on our first day in Cairo. Muhammad Rady drove our family and brought us safely to where we needed to be. He gave us valuable information and advice for the area to ensure we got great value from the experience.
Cairo check ✅ Pyramids: bigger than my expectations Camel ride: 10 min of feeling like Cleopatra Egyptian Museum: saw Tut's mask IRL and its wow 👌 Heat: 100/10 Memories: priceless
It was an easy and comfortable experience. Rimo is a very organized company, especially since I was surprised that the driver was a girl.Hadeer Mohamed, thank you, she was very friendly and professional.
Peaceful ride and safe ..cnt wait to come back experience egypt hospitality again
Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this driver, he was extremely friendly and welcoming.
A perfect tour with Muhammad Rady. He's an excellent driver and explained everything perfect. An absolute recommendation!
We went on a full-day trip to the pyramids and the New Cairo Museum and had a wonderful experience. Abu Yazid was very kind and service-minded. Our guide, Huda, was also excellent—she explained the history of the pyramids in a clear and engaging way.
The long and short of it? Do not use this company. They do not live up to what they promise and expose you to multiple scams. We were holidaying in Egypt visiting Cairo and Luxor. Having seen some positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to book a tour of the Sphinx and the Pyramids with Rimo. We were informed that since we wanted to start later in the day, they would need to arrange a special guide for us and that would cost a additional US$60. We agreed and we were informed that the tour was all inclusive and we'd need to pay only the entrance ticket for the Pyramids and Sphinx complex. Since we were heading to Luxor next, we asked Rimo for cost for sightseeing tours of the East and West bank. We were quoted rates that seemed on the higher side which we felt maybe due to their reputation. When we asked for the itineraries of the tours to confirm what was covered, we were informed that we'd receive them only after we'd paid in full and only when we arrived in Luxor. We felt this was strange and decided to hold off on our decision to use them till after our Sphinx and Pyramids tour. We were picked up on time and then taken to see meet our guide who was waiting at a shop. This is when the alarm bells started ringing. Turns out that the 'guide' was an old lady who was the owner of a papyrus painting shop. She told us some fantastical myths of how the pyramids were built and then her shops staff tried to sell us some hideously overpriced papyrus paintings. Having checked the prices of paintings earlier, we knew this was a set up and we said we'd consider buying after the tour. They insisted we write a positive review in their book before we left. Having failed to get any money out of us, we were then driven down some narrow lanes to an 'office' where we were introduced to the next 'guide' who informed us that it was difficult to trek through the area on foot and we should use their horse carriages. Since there were three of us, we'd need to take 2 carriages. The carriages themselves were completely ramshackle, and we were told we'd need to pay another obscene amount of money for the carriages. When we protested and mentioned that the tour was supposed to be all inclusive, the new 'guide' insisted that it did not cover the horses and the carriages. Since we had come all the way to Egypt, we decided to go ahead. We were taken to the entrance of the complex and the new 'guide' purchased our entry tickets. As soon as we entered, we noticed that there were actually modern, electric buses to transport visitors around the complex free of charge. We immediately questioned why the guide had insisted that horses and carriages were absolutely essential to see the complex in comfort and ease? We paid for the entry tickets and informed that guide we would use the free buses. Thankfully we'd negotiated payment after the tour for the horses and carriages else, we'd have been out of pocked by a few hundred dollars. We never saw our original 'guide' again. I contacted Rimo immediately and questioned them about why these things had occurred. I pointed out how the original guide apparently was not even a guide and then had disappeared immediately after we entered the complex. Initially, they claimed to be surprised by the guide's behavior and then apologized and confirmed they would refund us (I was dealing with Suzet from Rimo). Of course, that never happened. Suzet actually had the temerity to then ask us if we would continue with the Luxor trip with them. Based on our experience, this is a travel Agency to be avoided completely. They charge a significant amount, extract extra costs under different reasons and then send you down a path of other vendors who then try to extract their share of the pie. You absolutely do not need to book horses to see the complex. The buses are well organized and you can take them from one location to another. When I started checking newer reviews on our return from Egypt, I noticed that other travelers have been through the same experience and therefore it appears to be their working style.
Rimo Tours Egypt was an excellent choice for our first visit to Egypt. Nour is very professional and her responses were prompt and clear, and the entire experience across Cairo and Luxor was very well organised. The tour guides were knowledgeable, professional, and engaging, making the history come alive while ensuring everything ran smoothly. We felt well taken care of throughout. Great value for money and a very reliable team. Recommend Rimo Tours Egypt to anyone visiting Egypt for the first time.
Fadi showed us around the city of Cairo, and we had a wonderful journey. He is very punctual, arriving at the hotel to pick us up right on time. His driving is safe and professional, and he would introduce us to the unique features of each tourist attraction. It was very comfortable and relaxing to be with him.
It was a good tour. Guides were friendly and helpful and explained everything well. Tour Met our expectations and beyond.
If you're in Egypt you must see the Giza pyramids. Mohammed Radhi was a great and attentive driver on our tour - on time, informative, and super friendly. Thanks Mohammed!
Excellent ride 👏 Rimo Tours with Tamer Gamal took us to the pyramids and we passed an amazing journey with Hamouda Al Gabri who tooked an amazing photos and videos of us 👌
had the best time ever with Remo tours. I had an incredible time on this tour! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and brought the history of ancient Egypt to life with fascinating stories and insights. Highlights included the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and down the Nile—an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were comfortable, transportation was smooth, and the entire trip felt safe and well-managed. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the wonders of Egypt!
We booked the trip to Giza pyramids and SPECIFICALLY got Rimo to included camel rides for all 5 of our group. Their confirmation email listed "Camel Ride Included". When we got there, we were delivered to the office of a camel ride operator who asked if we would like the 30, 60 or 90 minutes ride. We informed him that we had paid Rimo for the trip, so we would accept whichever camel ride they had book for us. The operator told us that Rimo had booked NO camel ride so we would have to pay extra for one. As we had children with us who would have been EXTREMELY disappointed, we paid (what we later learned was WAY too much) for the camel rides that we had already paid RIMO for. As far as we are concerned, RIMO are dishonest con artists working with local agents to scam vulnerable tourists. We had also booked RIMO for 2 further tours to Alexandria and Saqqara which I cancelled (for obvious reasons). They promised a refund, which has not yet come through to my Visa card but, so far, it's only been a week. I will update this review if the refund does/doesn't materialise. I could detail a whole other story about being taken, en-route, to the shop of papyrus sellers who gave us a VERY long (75 MINUTES+) lecture on pyramid construction conspiracy theories, but that was just annoying, not technically dishonest
We booked most of our airport transfers from booking.com which is partnered with Rimo Tours. Later we also booked the Giza Pyramid Half Day Tour with them. The cabs of Rimo Tours were not clean and needed maintenance. Overall the staff, experience, the customer care service everything was just average. Our tour guide was very experienced. Her shop office we were sitting at kept forcing us to buy something. Their horse cart vendor named Ali, at Giza Pyramids kept passing comments and flirting with us women, which really pissed us off and ruined our Giza experience. While we were in Egypt we also found Emo Tours Company in Luxor and Cairo. They gave us a much better and professional service compared to Rimo Tours. I strongly recommend booking with Emo Tours rather than Rimo Tours. Emo tours competitively had much better customer care support, staff, experienced tour guides and very nice and comfortable cars.
I had already been to Egypt and I wanted to take my daughter to see this splendid Country. Rimo tours organized this and other tours for me quickly and with professionalism and competence. They gave us a guide, Hoda, who was very good, knowledgeable and very kind, who patiently accompanied us together with the equally good and very kind driver Fadi to discover the beauties of the Country. I publicly thank Hoda and Fadi for their courtesy. I will definitely organize my next trip to Egypt through Rimo tours asking to be accompanied by them.
Would give less than 1 star if possible. Truly felt scammed. Briefly: The Rimo Tours "office" was located inside the airport (T3), so as to give an official feel. We were politely talked to about a few hour trip, and promised an English tour guide, tour of the pyramids + sphinx, as well as a brief stopover at a local market. We paid $65 per head for three. Outside the Cairo airport we were introduced to a driver who took us over to his car and as driving away told us that he could not speak English. We were communicating through Google Translate (Arabic to English and vice versa). The driver then went through crowded lanes (wasting valuable time) leading to guides, horse carriage dealers, all of who could give us the tour! When we declined the driver just left us outside the Pyramid + Sphinx complex to fend for ourselves. It was hot and extremely difficult for us to find our way, fend off locals wanting to give us rides, buy tickets for us, etc. Truly was a nightmare experience. Really took away from our experiencing the beauty and grandeur of the Egyptian monuments! We rushed back to the car, did not speak a single word to the driver. There was no market stopover either. Regret very much trusting Rimo tours and their operator/s.
Husband and I are in Egypt for two weeks… we booked two tours with Rimo tours. Very good with communication until you’ve given them money. Then radio silence. The tour says English speaking guide - not true. Drivee didn’t know English, kept taking us to shops that kept pressing us for money. Driver took us to a Giza tour where we were told the only way to the pyramids is by private tour (we thought we had paid for this.) Ended up being charged £170 on top of what we paid. Tried contacting customer service for two weeks - limited to no response. All we were given is the below ‘ Hello, Dear Thushyanthi, Greetings from Rimo Tours Group, It's a pleasure to assist you at any time with any requested services. We are already investigating into this case, and we will reply back to you ASAP. Thank you’ Still yet to receive any money back or an explanation. Claimed we booked an additional upgrade while on tour - we didn’t have any other option but to go on this tour, this is where the Rimo tour driver will take you.
I had Emad Naguib, he came to pick us at the airport, our flight was 1hour late and he was still waiting us. I would recommend you this company and Emad Naguib! Very nice and friendly! Thank you! ✨
I wouldn’t recommend going with this company, we paid 40 usd just for a ride and basic talk about it. There after we were recommended to another guy who we paid 110 usd for the actual tour. So basically over paid, we were lied to basically that that tour was for 40 usd initially. Anyway Hoda was decent. I wouldn’t recommend this travel company for a trip to the pyramids
Rimo tours were very friendly, helpful and provided good inputs to select the tour and we're also able to organise a guide as part of the tour that helped us relate to the story of the pyramids lot better. Our driver Mr.Fadi was superb, not only being patient with us while we covered the tour but also ensured that we remained comfortable as a family throughout the time and also showed us some unique viewing points from where we could see spectacular views of the pyramids and the panorama. Mr. Fadi also doubled up as a photographer and entertained our requests in clicking family pictures, very kindly.
Good activity. Hoda explained everything we needed to know about pyramids. Yosery (the driver) was very nice. We enjoyed the trip. We recommend the activity. One bad point for the unexpected stops (shop/ camel/ horse). We would appreciate to be informed before going.
The service was excellent and adaptable to our needs, the staff very friendly and honest. I recommend the Hoda Papyrus store in Giza. Thanks so much for everything. We lived a beautiful and magic dream ♥️
We lived a safe and interesting tour at pyramids with the help of guide Hoda and Mohammed the driver !!! We left the place with a lot of historic information and memmories .thank you
Our personal guide Hoda was very nice and informative. We enjoyed the trip. My daughter was excited. Ivan recommend Hoda, because you can get very interesting historical facts
Great day, Hoda was fantastic, really informative, made us think with the stories & theories she was saying. Would recommend.
Me and my friend had a good trip today. We got picked up from our hotel and our first stop was the NMEC, which we enjoyed. From here we then went to the pyramids. We stopped off at a Papayus shop where Hoda gave us some information about ancient Egypt, which was very insightful! She was amazing. We then went to a camel/horse riding tour company, which we didn’t ask to do, however we ended up getting a camel tour, which was a good experience. However, we felt pressured into buying this experience and in hindsight we should have just completed this on foot. At the end of the pyramid tour Hoda then met up with us again to give us some more information about the pyramids, which was a nice touch! All in all, we had a good time. But make sure you do your homework before you book.
I bought this tour on Viator for $120 as it was advertised as all-inclusive (except for tips), including admission, camel ride, etc. After getting picked up and taken out to the first stop, I was told it would be $180 more to get access to the pyramids, camel ride, etc. Apparently all the $120 fee pays for is an expensive pick up and then hustling cheap Egyptian paintings you could buy in the US at gas station parking lots next to velvet Elvis paintings, followed by trying to sell you oils. The fee is a scam as it is not all-inclusive.
It was a wonderful trip with you. Thanks to Mr Mohammed for all. Services 5 stars. Best price. Nice car. It was amazing expérience. I Hope see you soon for an other trip my friend.
I got a private tour from This company and Mohamed lmam was my tour guide. He got there on time, gave us a lot of information, took us to a good shawarma restaurant and took us hundreds of photos! I really recommend him.
Our. My son and me, First Trip to Cairo was very positive. My son enjoyed much our sightseeing Tour to Pyramids...Very well organised and thanks to our Guide Mohamed Imam....
Emad Naguib,Hurgada Taxi driver was perfekt!!!! Sebastian Koczan He was gently and kinldy, and respectfull. Best Regards
We had a pleasant day with several guides from an excellent driver to a great guide in the desert to the pyramids and of course Hoda, the professional lady behind all of it. She shared her broad knowledge with us and we were able to ask all of our questions! Super interesting and friendly, definitely a recommend if you want an authentic insight into Egypt’s history…
Excellent experience. Madam Hoda is an excellent guide. She made sure our trip is pleasant. Great hospitality
Rimo Tours organized a tailored trip for us consisting in 4 days. Day 1: meet and greet by shaima. All went well and shaima was extremely helpful and professional. Also the transfer to our residence was good Day 2: over day in Luxor with hani. Hani was our guide in Luxor, a very kind person and extremely knowledgeable. We visited everything we wanted to see. Day 3: Giza pyramids and tahrir with madame hoda. She is a very nice guide, professional and knowledgeable, can explain in multiple languages. She explained everything we needed to know and answered all our questions. Day 4: full day in saqqara and mummies museum. Amazing trip highly suggested. Our driver was amrabalrhmain. Highly recommend, professional and skilled driver.
All thanks to Remo Tours for the good treatment and all the helpful and kind staff Especially Mr. Tamer Gamal, with the utmost respect and cooperation
Tour was well arranged and excellent explanation about Egyptian culture, tradition and history by Mrs Hoda.
Very nice. Not expensive. Makes great pictures for you! Comfortable car. Knows all the “things” to see and more.
We had good experience with Rimo tours. They provided good services for visiting giza pyramids and sphinx. We had Hoda as our guide. She provided detailed informations on history of pyramids, the size of pyramids, how it were made in ancient times etc. and she was good. Deducting 1 star because of the front desk staff who Booked the tour does not inform us that roads to pyramids will close at 5pm and we entered at 5pm in the pyramids. However, rimo tours did their best by taking alternative small routes so that we can take good pics however from distance.
Huda is Excellent person, guide and saleswoman! She Explained everything beautifully and it was very knowledgeable!
We had a great trip! Driver was very safe and efficient. We spent a little more than we wanted on camel rides but the pictures we got made up for this. Our tour guide around the pyramids was very friendly and he had great knowledge of the area. Thank you for a great, safe trip.
Atef Mustafa The driver was very hepful and friendly. While travelling he explained the places via translator. Because of him we felt safe and reached our destination happily.
Mohamed Abdelkarim was always willing to provide good service and went out of his way to deliver on time with a smile. The guide was very good and provided a lot of interesting information. Would definitely advise making use of Rimo Tours.
It was a one-day trip. Mahmoud Fahty from Rimo Tours picked me up at Cairo airport, took me to the Pyramids in Gizah, Cairo Museum of Civilisation, lunch and back to the airport. For a woman travelling alone, it was safe and easy. I liked it.
Amazing trip, all the details are perfect A great company and I will repeat the experience with them And the manager in charge Saeed Ismail was friendly and helpful
We took airport pick up service, and half day Pyramids tour, the service is great and they offer excellent service with very good price, Ms Yasmin always was there and make sure our service to be great, big thanx for the driver Ahmed Abdulfatah, he is very kind and friendly, he takes us everywhere and makes sure we dont miss anything. And thanx or the tour guide ms Huda she was really friendly and was doing her job ver well even she explains everything in good way, she is always smile and happy. We really were happy with this company’s service. No mistake and no negative point.
Abu Nidal give me a tour of the area. He was an excellent tour guide. This was my first trip to Egypt. He coordinated my full day tour of the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian museum. He was excellent, knowledgeable and thoughtful. He picked me up at the hotel where I was saying and was on time. Told me about all the sites and landmarks, the history behind them, as we drove past first on our way to the museum and to see the pyramids. He told me how much everything was regarding prices. Abu Nidal arranged it up so I could see the pyramids riding a camel. I also had the option to ride a horse or carriage to see the pyramids. I chose the camel. Also, he told about all the hot spots- where to eat and what not to eat in Cairo. He’s very friendly and respectful. His car was very clean. He also told me where guests can stay to save. He took some time out of his schedule where we stopped and ate. He was not pushy or insisting. He took his time with the tour. I will be using Abu Nidal to coordinate future trips. He definitely made you feel safe as a foreigner female traveling to these sites alone. Abu Nidal was excellent! I’m glad he showed me around the city and to see these two beautiful sites.
Everything was great. The tour guide Hoda was really nice and we could choose what to see. The driver Muhamed Rady waited for us as long as we like and even called us one time to check if we are ok. 5 stars.
