All Inclusive 2-day Ancient Egypt And Old Cairo Highlights Tour

We had Michael as our tour guide and I can’t remember the drivers name but they were both so lovely and made us feel very safe. It was a great tour and we were able to swap out the Egyptian Museum for the new GEM. Although the tour operators themselves weren’t very nice or easy to deal with whilst asking to swap the museums, the actual tour guide and driver were very friendly.

Mahmoud hoka was an amazing guide. He took us to Giza, Memphis, the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and many more amazing sites.He is a qualified Egyptologist and really knows what he’s talking about.

We had a fantastic 2 days full private tour all inclusive with our Tour Guide, Nour, and our Dedicated Driver - Emad. This was our first time in Egypt, and the whole journey for the 2 days was packed with fun and enjoyable sightseeing. Nour is an expert in Egypt history and he makes our visit so interesting. His excellent storytelling abilities of all the historical sites make it all worth it. We enjoyed the local food lunch and are grateful for all the arrangements! Thanks for such a wonderful experience! We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt!

Fatima, our tour guide was knowledgeable and we thank her sincerely. But there are major issues with tour operator- 1. Unscheduled Stops The guide took us to a perfume and papyrus shop that wasn’t listed in the itinerary. This unplanned stop consumed 2–3 hours, forcing us to rush through the main attractions. It felt like a tourist trap, and we only realized the impact once the tour was over. THIS SHOULD BE AVOIDED BUT STICK TO THE ITINERARY. 2. Driver’s Unprofessional behaviour On the second day, the driver got into an argument with the guide and abruptly left us stranded. Fathima had to contact the tour operator for alternative arrangements, which caused unnecessary delays.

Our guide, Mr Nour is an expert, knowledgeable guide that i would recommend to my family and friends. His expertise in navigating us throughout 2 days trip around Cairo and Giza is outstanding, as he planned carefully to avoid us stuck in traffic and crowd while we were sightseeing during peak weekends. Together making our trip was a breeze was our driver, Mr. Eman(?) whose driving was excellent. The tour schedule was perfect, not rushing and we were able to cover important parts of our trip and still have time and energy for our personal itinerary afterwards. The meal provided also tasty. Mr. Nour also able to fit in Jumaah prayer during trip for my husband to experience performing it with locals.

Michael Raouf out tour guy and the driver both wrere very polite, nice, reliable and very helpful. Michael had a lot knowledge of ancient Egypt. We got to cover a lot for 2 days. I did not like much the places he took us that I did know was part of our schedule. Like the oil, papyrus place… although it was okay it took too much time. I felt like I was rushed at some point.

camel riding was such an exceptional experience. also the pyramid, museum, old cairo, and churches were very interesting.

A wonderful tour taking me back 5000 years and to the present. My guide was Nour, a highly educated and experienced guide. The 2 days were perfectly planned, skipping the crowds and getting to see the sites with less people. Nour was able to answer all my questions and was flexible with timings. I would highly recommend this tour - 2 days you’ll never forget!

The best tour to visit the key highlights in Cairo for 2 days. It's a private tour so me and my partner had the driver and our fabulous tour guide for ourselves! Phoebe was fantastic, always accommodating us, protecting us from scams and making sure we were comfortable (and hydrated!). She was basically one of the highlights in Cairo. The first day we went to the pyramids complex and had lunch with a view. I really appreciated that this tour included also Saqqara and Memphis. I've got the best pictures of Egypt from this day (and we were around for 2 weeks!) The second day we visited Old Cairo and the Egyptian Museum. After being in both I don't think I would have been able to survive without a guide so really thankful for having Phoebe with us and for all her knowledge. The lunch on the second day was my favourite. We went to a local restaurant near the Hanging Church and it was so so nice. It was our first time in Cairo so having this very complete tour with such a fantastic guide really made the difference for us.

2 day tour seeing amazing history and culture of Cairo and surrounding areas. Pyramids of Giza, artifacts in Memphis, pyramids in Sakkara, perfume/essential oil factory, spice store, authentic Egyptian lunch, mosques, Christian church, markets, the Citidale. So much to see. Amazing 2days. Zanab did a great job explaining everything and the driver was amazing getting through the crazy traffic.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide, Eraky was fantastic and has a PhD in hieroglyphics so he knows a ton and is passionate about ancient Egypt. He gave us so much information in two days that I felt like I really got to know Cairo well. Eraky also seems to know everyone in Cairo so it made the tours even more fun. Lunch both days was delicious and our driver was very safe and navigated “crazy Cairo” seamlessly. We had a great two days in Cairo with this company.

Mimo our tour guide and Ibrahim our driver for the two days was exceptional. Nothing was too much hassle for them. Mimo made our experience great, he made sure that we had everything we needed going at our own pace especially with a 21 month old baby. They adjusted pick up time by half hr as 8am was too early for us. He is very knowledgeable and has tons of information to share. Our trip to the Saqqara was part way abandoned due to the extreme heat by ourselves and Mimo refunded our tickets for it- brilliant service. The camel ride was shorter than the allcated time but Mimo made sure this was completed and sent us back on again- he gave us the choice of riding the horse and carriage. He really went the extra mile to make sure we had time to experience, rest and explore thoroughly. Ask for Mimo if you do book and you will see how accomadating he is. He even stopped to get us watermelon at our request! Food was good in a nice resturant the first day, then shawarma on the second. Everything is explained clearly and fully- adjustments are made according to the client- it is your tour so go with what works for you. All addidional stops that isnt part of the tour was a treat too. He did not push us to buy infact he made sure the locals especially in Khan-el-Khalil bazzar werent ripping us off with extortinate prices- he made sure we didnt fall for it and kept us all safe throughtout our two day. We already miss his company. Ibrahim is a true gentleman, opening the door helping with our stroller making sure the car was always clean. Aircon great what luxury! There was no pressure and we were relaxed. Thank you to both men for making our trip pleasant.

We had great experience with one of the best tour guide Mr Micheal and Mohammed ,,we had booked private tour were we had big and spacious mini van ,,they made so comfortable adviced us about the locals to take care ourselves and took us to an great sight with multiple clicked beautiful pictures .each time we were about to go out from vehicle they used to come and open door for us which made us feel so special ,,I wish I had more days to stay ,,unfortunately we have to wind up .They offered us cold chilled water ,,made us so relaxing after each spot…overall experience was ossom and great outstanding .

In short time all important points covered. Comfortable arrangements and a small lunch was served on both days. Covered Memphis , Sphinx , Great Pyramids , Bazar, Step Pyramid , A mosque and a church , Cairo Museum Nur our Guide was good and friendly.

We had two great days with Nour! On the first day he took us to the Giza Plateau, Saqqara, and Memphis. In addition to seeing the awe-inspiring historical sites, he also took us to a perfume-smelling experience and a papyrus-making experience, both free-of-charge with no obligation to purchase anything. We chose to do a late lunch and our day ended with a delicious meal at a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the city. On the second day, Nour took us to the Egyptian Museum. He let us know that many of the exhibits had already been moved over to the new museum (which was not yet open when we were there), but showed us the highlights left in the old museum. Well worth it - we saw some amazing historical artifacts and Nour provided great information! We also went to the Khan el-Khalili market where we were able to pick up some little souvenirs, which was great fun. Our tour also included a visit to the Citadel and the Hanging Church, both great places for those interested in religious history. Our second day concluded with tasty Egyptian cuisine at a local restaurant. Nour speaks excellent English and answered all of our questions about Egyptian history and customs as they came up. This tour also came with a driver and we found it very affordable given how much was packed into our two days in Cairo.

Fantastic tour. Everyone on the group loved the itinerary and especially Ahmed, he's just the best, believe me. Informative, funny, never boring. Mour was a fantastic tour guide! He was knowledgeable, answered every question we had, took photos for us, and made sure to take us to some of the most famous sites, as well as show us some not so well known. I booked everything at last minute and I’m very glad that I did it. Special thanks to Ahmed and Mohamed for this amazing tour during the Ramadan. My guid was Ahmed Abu Emirah, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was taking his time to answer all my questions, even taking very nice pictures. He gave really nice recommendations about the food, places to see, and etc… I could learn a lot about the Egypt. and really convinced that I should plan another trip to see more. Thanks to Youssef and Emam for taking for around Cairo for two days. I appreciate with the heat it was difficult to do this during Ramadan, but both were professional. Youssef has good knowledge about Ancient Egypt and was always happy to answer questions, the lunches on tour were also of a good standard. I also appreciate the tour owner calling to follow up, I can see he takes interest in his guests.

This tour was incredible. Firstly the tour guide Michael was amazing - super punctual, knowledgable, well organised and he looked after us so well throughout. He made sure we saw so many things in just two days and even helped us modify the tour based on the needs of the kids on day 2. It was a great mix of adventure and learning. The communication was seamless throughout - I HIGHLY recommend (of note we were 12 people from UK- including 2 elderly and 4 kids).

We had the most amazing Egyptologist called Amir who was very responsive leading up to the tour, VERY knowledgable, well organised, seamless and genuinely great company to be with. Our driver Emam was also great and made getting around really easy and comfortable. Had a traditional Egyptian lunch on the first day and shawarma on the second day - which were also delicious at a nice location! For anyone who hasn’t been to Cairo before, this is the perfect experience to do!

You should definitely book a two day tour with Tree of Life Day Tours. It is the perfect tour if you are in Cairo for a few days. Our guide Fatima was awesome, she was very knowledgeable about all things Egypt. She went above and beyond by telling us different places to check out when we were done with our day tours. Then, when our plans fell through to go to Luxor she helped us plan that night out on a fun boat tour and then took us for another awesome day tour to go more in-depth on what she taught us the previous two days. This two-day tour is an excellent overview of most major sites in Cairo. Booking and logistics were professional and timely. Transportation and driver were great. Guide (Gouda) was extremely knowledgeable about subjects presented. Any question was easily answered with graduate level understanding. Tour was organized in a logical and easy to understand manner. Strongly recommend the Tree of Life Day tour with Mohamed aka Gouda. His passion for Egypt is very evident and he is truly a scholar. Not only is Gouda extremely knowledgeable and professional he is very cheery. We had the added treat of a wonderful driver (Yassir) and AC vehicle for our group of 4 women. We felt very well informed, taken care of, and appreciated Goudas honesty and integrity. He is truly a wonderful guide who understands the importance of a well planned out itinerary and good pace. If you are lucky enough to get Mohamed Gouda as a guide, you are in for a treat. PS he took us to a falafel spot on day 1 for Lunch, and they were the best falafels I’ve ever had! I had Amina as my guide for the two days in Cairo, Saqqara and Memphis. The two is an excellent way to get a good oversight of the area - and was the perfect intro to Egypt for me. It took in all the things someone with limited time in Cairo would be interested in, and there was no stress whatsoever of finding transport, parking, clean WCs or avoiding touts. Amina is a fountain of knowledge and an absolute joy to be with. With her careful planning the information and activities were tailored to my interests and speed, and she ensured that the itinerary each day suited my travel plans - avoiding traffic and meeting my ones do travel. She also went above and beyond to buy me fresh fruit and snacks, and to call my train company to ensure everything was in order before writing me transport instructions for after the tour. I would recommend her to anyone visiting Cairo.

I went on this tour with 5 of my girlfirends for a weekend trip to Egypt and absoulty loved it! The tour guy was fantastic, super knowledgable and wasn't boring at all. Our guide Mo aka Gouda was fantastic. He was clearly so passionate about Egyptology and seemed to have detailed answers for any questions we asked (which were many). He is very professional - knowledgeable and passionate in Egyptology and Egyptian history, attentive and considerate to my needs, always checking if I'm happy and if I have any questions, and taking photos for me all the time. We were in Cairo for a little over 3 days and wanted to see all the main sites. This two day tour was fantastic and our guide Amal was a wealth of knowledge on the history of Egypt. There were just two of us and Amal along with a nice private driver and new clean car. She took us all around Cairo and other locations to see the Pyramids, Coptic and Muslim sites as well as a detailed tour of the key treasures in the museums. Amal was very friendly and super informative. She was also flexible in terms of different things we wanted to do. So if you are looking for a tour of all the highlights in Cairo we highly recommend this one.

Me and my husband had 3 full days in Cairo so this tour was great to see the highlights without thinking about transportation and entrance.They have taken us everywhere written in the list. Our guide was Amal. She was very friendly, had a good knowledge about history and the places we visited. The car was comfortable and the driver was experienced which you definitely need in Cairo. They also take you to some touristic shops which we didnt know so if you dont want to buy anything, you should tell your guide to save time. Also you get around 2-3 hours in the cairo museum and if you want to experience it more tell the guide beforehand as well. Overall, I can warmly recommend this tour if you have few days but also would like to see the highlights in Cairo.

We had a great time on our two day Cairo tour. Day 1 was the pyramids/desert activities and day 2 was inside Cairo (mosques, museums, and bazaar). Our tour guide was Amina - she was knowledgeable and very kind. Our group was four adults - definitely recommend!
