We had an amazing time to Egypt as a family. It was the first time for our kids and we felt safe, looked after and everything went so smoothly. Not one hiccup during the trip. Everything was planned and went according to the itinerary. Kids were very well looked after and always considered. We saw all the sites we wanted to see and often were first at a temple which makes it better! We had a beautiful trip as a family and highly recommend this operator. We went on overnight trains, spent the night on a felucca, dined at local restaurants - we went a bit off the beaten track and it was just the best family trip! Thank you!

We just returned from an amazingly well-planned and executed 9 day tour by Egypt Tour Gate. . Mr Ibrahim our manage did an absolutely fantastic job at planning, managing our expectations, providing flexibility and more importantly providing us with a journey worth to remember. We were so lucky to have him plan and deliver without hitches. He was always available. When in our party of four we needed flexibility in the pace. He arranged for it. He had a fantastic team of Egyptologist guides like Dalia and Abdul who were knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. His team made the journey through various airports smooth and easy and timely. He arranged for special events like birthday and was always there throughout the journey to proactively address our needs. He was awesome and he has the best team. ! Thank you for facilitating this fantastic journey through the most wonderful landmarks in human history.
We went on a 7 days/6 nights private custom trip, based on an itinerary we proposed. Egypt Tours Gate delivered beyond our expectations. Everything was perfect. In the south (Luxor, Dendera, Abydos, Esna, Edfu) we had a very knowledgeable and passionate guide - Ismail. He would guide us through the sites, explaining and answering our questions and then he would give us time on our own, without rushing us at all. In Cairo /Giza we were very lucky to have Dalia as a guide to the Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara and Dashur. Dalia was a bundle of energy, knowledge, and joy and a fantastic guide. The hotels we stayed in were excellent, with very attentive personnel and excellent amenities and services. Transportation was with private vehicles, very new and comfortable. Egypt Tours Gate made everything smooth, we had nothing to worry about and we would not change anything. We had been to Egypt twice before, with another agency, but this was next level up! For us it was very important not to be rushed at the sites. We had long days indeed (some even 10-12 hours) and we appreciate it, as this is not usual with other tour companies. Oh! And the food was delicious! The agency arranged all lunches at great restaurants! We will go back in 2027 and arrange everything through Egypt Tours Gate again.
Absolutely top tier tour company. Our guides were like our friends, they took such good care of our needs. They kept us on track with time management, pick ups, and we're so knowledgeable and able to answer every single question. I also appreciate their building in breaks or changing the schedule based on our needs. We had an excellent experience all around.
Perfect tryp and very professional assistance all it was amazing Professional guide we touched the most powerful places in Egypt. Sure we wish to come back soon to visit more and to have a stay in red sea.
Locale guide Atef for Italians is very good, fantastic trip,we are really really happy ,beautiful experience to remember
We travelled around Egypt with Ibrahim as our guide. We absolutely loved our tour. We learned so much about Egypt and the history behind it. Ibrahim was very knowledgeable about everything to do with Egypt. Doing an organized trip made it so much easier to get around and we were able to see so much more than if we had tried to do it on our own! 5⭐
WOW! The best experience I've had with a tour agency in my life. I don't normally like to use tours as I work in the travel industry myself but knew I wanted to get the full experience in Egypt, primarily as we were going for my mom's 70th birthday and I not only wanted it to be flawless in terms of logistics but also did not want to be among the masses especially in the museums which get very packed. It being a bucket list trip, I wanted to be sure we had the right guides to get a full history of each site and not have to queue or deal with faulty audio guides. Ibrahim and his team were professional from the start and helped plan out my itinerary given my budget and dates. All internal flights, cars and guides were booked we just showed up! Our guide, Ashraf, in Luxor/Aswan was a walking encyclopedia , SO well read and knew exactly what time to visit what to avoid crowds. Ahmed, in Cairo was excellent as well and was flexible with our schedule throughout the day. Both have such a passion for Egptyology and are full of SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE. November was a perfect month in terms of weather with cooler temperatures in the mornings and evenings and sunny and perfect in the day. All the cars used were new, with strong A/C and power outlets for the phone (important!) Egypt is 100% worth doing with a professional not only to avoid the hassle of driving / taxis etc but to really learn 1:1 the fascinating history. I can not recommend Ibrahim and his team enough and will be recommending Egypt Tours Gate to all !
Ibrahim and Egypt Tours Gate were recommended to us by happy customers, and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of touring Egypt. Everything for our trip went perfectly, from planning to airport transfers, drivers, boat captains, and especially our guides and expert Egyptologists, Ahmed and Peter who were sooo knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It all made for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday that we will talk about for years to come! Thanks everyone! Our trip was customised by Ibrahim, to meet our preferences for places to visit, and our schedule, so we skipped Hurghada, and added Abu Simbel, and a balloon ride over the valley of the kings, and ended with a day trip to Alexandria, while also taking in all the ‘usual’ sites in and around Cairo, Giza, Aswan, Luxor, plus an overnight on a felucca where we played cards under the stars, while enjoying delicious Egyptian food, and next morning watched ibis fishing in the Nile as the sun came up; such memories! There were suggestions to cancel or defer the trip because of the trouble in Gaza which has a border with Egypt, but our trip brought us no-where near that conflict. We travelled from Alexandria on the Med coast all the way down to Abu Simbel, 40 km from the border with Sudan, and while we saw security at the entrance to all sites, it only served to make us feel safer, and the Egyptian people everywhere were friendly and welcoming. An amazing, unforgettable vacation. Thanks again.
We just finished our 10day trip and we're so delighted with how incredible every single day was, and so thankful for how well taken care of we were by Ibrahim and his team the whole time! (Thanks so much!!) Ibrahim helped us build an action packed itinerary (Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, hot air ballooning, overnight on a felucca, and just about every temple & obelisk from Abu Simbel to Alexandria!) and somehow managed to make everything happen in a way that was so seemless, comfortable, & fun. He checked in with us by WhatsApp regularly and responded to any message almost immediately. I really feel like he went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience of Egypt possible! (Thanks again!!) Our tour guide for Cairo, Giza & Alexandria was Ahmed, and he was brilliant! Really knowledgeable, positive, chatty, and able to guide us through a huge amount of history (& terrain) in a really engaging way. He's also a brilliant photographer and suggested some great views & vantage points (as well as some great restaurants!). Peter was our guide for Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo & Luxor, and he was just the most wonderful person. He made the history of the sites into a kind of game that kept us all not only interested but also laughing. He was so well informed and genuinely imterested - a born tour guide (if not historian!). He worked in extra activities for us, and he fit in with the group like an old friend! (taught us a new card game and everything!) We couldn't say enough positive things about our guides, our trip, or about Egypt itself. Such an incredible experience!!
Egypt Tours Gate are THE company to book with for your trip to Egypt. Meticulously planned and action packed itineraries meant that we really covered a lot of ground. Ibrahim and his team even tailored the trip to specific changes we requested and accommodated our every wish. Seamless airport transfers and transportation. Incredibly knowledgeable guides who were always so engaging, helpful and determined to give us the most authentic and enjoyable experiences of Egypt. Peter in the South (Aswan and Luxor) was born for this job. And Ahmed in the North (Cairo and Alexandria) is an outstanding guide. And even Harris, who we met briefly twice as he quickly guided us through a confusing Cairo airport on our return and departure to Aswan. I cannot recommend Egypt Tours Gate enough, they really went above and beyond for an incredibly luxurious, flawlessly planned TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!! We simply would have not been able to get to visit all the sites and experiences we enjoyed without their tireless efforts. Do not do this once in a lifetime trip without them. I cannot Thank them all enough, I loved every single minute.
Without doubt the best company to travel with in Egypt. Firstly, addressing the elephant in the room...the areas that we visited in Egypt are completely safe, regardless of the current situation in neighboring countries. Ibrahim and his team made sure to explain where we would be traveling, in relation to the ongoing issues in the region. That aside, we never once felt anything but safe. The Egyptian people are some of the nicest and friendliest in the world and I felt grateful that they shared their country with us and made the trip so much fun for us. This was simply one of the best trips I have done in my life. It's been a dream of mine to come to Egypt since I was a kid, learning about Ancient Egyptian life so expectations were high and Egypt Tours Gate delivered, over and above. Ibrahim arranged everything for us and was flexible in adjusting the trip to suit what we wanted to see and do, and to fit our budget. The whole trip was seamless. Everything from the airport pick-ups to the drivers (Mustafa, our Cairo driver, is one of the best drivers I've ever seen - when you see Egyptian driving, you'll appreciate this) to the internal flights..to the hotels...to the Felucca...to the meals and excursions...SEAMLESS! Our Guides - Peter is an Egyptologist and historian. He took us through Aswan, Abu Simbel & Luxor and was with us for 4 days. He was so incredibly organized…had all of our tickets in advance so there was no queuing or waiting around…he knew the best times to go to things and the best spots to take pictures. A really engaging guy. Great sense of humor. Incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the architecture or factual history...but also the salacious stories and scandal of the Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs and their families (I'm a slave to celebrity gossip, and the like, so this was a huge green tick for me). And he went above and beyond to entertain us on an extra excursion in Luxor one of the evenings, where he didn’t have to. He was, in many ways, the sixth member of our group. Always turning around in the car to answer our questions and share his insights or get involved in our family banter. He also taught us a new card game one of the evenings! Ahmed is an Egyptologist and a historian. He took us through our Cairo (Giza, Saqara & Old Cairo) and Alexandria trips and was with us for 3 days. He is beyond knowledgeable of Ancient Egyptian history and also the span of history post Pharaohs (i.e the Romans, the Christians, the Persians, the Arabs...right up to current day). It's a great wonder of the world in itself that one man has so much knowledge in his head. I hadn't fully appreciated the richness of Egyptian history before I met Ahmed. He also had a great sense of humor, a great way of explaining things and was really easy-going, while being so professional. Always keen to answer questions and engage in chat with my family and he is one of the best photographers. He knows all of the angles! He also knew all of the best restaurants in the areas we were staying and we just really really enjoyed his company. If you take a tour with Egypt Tours Gate...you MUST request these two guides. Do - ALL of the above ... plus… 1. Take a Felucca in Aswan on the Nile but only do one night...it's enough... 2. If you can, add a couple of days in the middle of your trip to chill out in Hugharda. We didn't and we wish we had. While we had no problem with our trip, at all...we squeezed a lot in to 8 days and we could have used some time to decompress and digest the enormous amount of information that had been shared. 3. Buy a data card at the airport for your phone for mobile data, as wifi can be sketchy or enjoy the rare opportunity to feel off-the-grid 4. Hot Air Balloon over Luxor and the Valley of the Kings 5. When you get to Abu Simbel, hang back for a while and let the crowds pass. We got there around 12:30 - towards the end of the convoy of visitors. People pass through the temple quite quickly and if you hang back a little while you can have the whole place to yourself. Maybe see Nefertari's temple first and then come back to Abu Simbel. 6. Stay in Zamalek when you're in Cairo city. It's a buzzing part of town, in a fun way. Loads of great shops and restaurants. Safe to walk around. Staying in Giza is important for seeing the Pyramids but it’s worth a move in hotels to Zamalek for anything else you want to see in Cairo. DON'T - 1. Get too wound up with the sellers in markets. We came to just accept this is part of the culture. "La Shukran" is your new favorite phrase. It means No Thank You and is highly effective. 2. Forget to get lots of small change for when you're on the move. You'll need it for bathroom visits and general tipping. This is also part of the culture.
Perfect trip, everything impeccable, a wonderful tour, super kind and helpful staff, ready to satisfy every need. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were accompanied and assisted by Aimen, who was very kind and super helpful. The Nile cruise was a unique experience that allowed us to explore the wonders of Aswan and Luxor. The icing on the cake was the guided tour in Cairo, to the pyramids and the GEM; accompanied by our guide Hassan, an exquisite and very knowledgeable person, who gave us an authentic dive into Egyptian history and civilization. Highly recommended tour.
It was a unique special trip to take your breath away. I thank Ibrahim for accompanying us with his professionalism and kindness in a world unknown to us; he was able to grasp what I would have liked from the trip by organizing it impeccably without leaving anything to chance. Advise everyone the Egypt Tours Gate agency if you want to organize a trip different from the usual standards.
Trip organized together with the Top Viaggi agency through Vagamente di Modica. Impeccable organization, friendly and helpful guide and memorable trip! . Highly recommended!
Magnificent tour, also made unforgettable by the Atef guide, who organized everything for us perfectly! Super recommended
