Sherif was an awesome guide and the trip was so worth doing. Will remember it forever. Thank you for everything
Our guide Ashraf and driver Yasser were fantastic! Great English and great information. Definitely recommend it to visitors
I had a fantastic day with Fatima. So knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Ten out of ten all round. Fantastic guide. Fantastic driver. Fantastic car and FANTASTIC sights.
Brilliant guided tour. Picked up from hotel in Soma Bay promptly at the time specified. Our driver Mohammed took us to Cairo where we were joined by Ashraf, our Egyptologist. He was knowledgeable, courteous, patient and had a great sense of humour. This was our last guided tour following a Nile cruise in a group. As a couple, Ashraf was able to give us his full attention and the experience beat all the other tours by far. If only we could have had him all week. The tour is a must for anyone interested in seeing the step pyramid as well as the world's oldest building at 4,650 years old. We especially appreciated having the time to go inside the great pyramid which was an additional option to the tour. Would highly recommend Ashraf and this tour.
My now fiancé and I travelled to Egypt and were provided exceptional service by our guide Rado! He was very knowledgeable about all thing Egypt while being extremely personable as well. He now shares a very special moment with us as he is the one who took these photos and was the first to know of our engagement! Even after only knowing him for such a short time he feels like family! I give Rado 5 stars but I would give him 10 if I could! Thank you so much Rado! Can’t wait to request you when we visit this magnificent country again! -B
We had an incredible day in Cairo with Gouda seeing the pyramids, Sphinx, art and local crafts, a tour of the Egyptian museum and a visit to the market. Gouda is exceptionally knowledgeable about all of the places we toured plus the history of Egypt. We had such a delightful, easy going, learned day. We couldn’t have done this on our own!
Today was one of the best tours we've taken in all of our travels around the world. Very informative, from our guide Radwan. He was very well informed and knowledgeable. The lunch was excellent and Radwan was very helpful. I would recommend taken a tour with Radwan.
My friend and I had a splendid day with guide Rasha and driver Hassan! Rasha was very professional and knowledgeable; there wasn’t a question we asked where she didn’t know the answer! Our lunch was superb and very filling, and there was enough time to do all the things we were excited about. Special thanks to Rasha and her great fun-photo-taking skills at the pyramids!
Very enjoyable and educational day with our guide Sameh to the pyramids and beyond. Just the right pace, Sameh very knowledgeable, good driver with great air conditioning and a very tasty more-than-enough lunch included. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour, highly recommended. Good if you don't have too much time in Cairo. Good photos and lots of fun, also the lunch is very traditional so you can get the chance to taste Egyptian flavors.
It was great. Very good explanations, kind, gave us many free time, takes awesome pictures. Also, he helped us with buying stuff, so we don't get high-tourist prices
Our guide was excellent, fluent in English, well educated and fun! We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
My guide was Manar Atwa and she was amazing! She knew so much and was very helpful throughout the tour. She took great pictures and was really took me back through history by helping me understand the ancient Egyptians! I definitely recommend this tour!
My wife and I had the best experience on the tour. We felt very safe the whole time and learned a lot of history. Our guide Fatma was the kindest, most knowledgeable guide we’ve ever had! I’d definitely recommend this company and Fatma to anyone who visits!
Tuesday, 3 September 2019, my brother and I had the opportunity to visit Cairo and all the wonderful sites. We would not have been able to do that without the excellent guidance and knowledge of Yasser. He was truly a professional and an excellent friend. We started off the morning with a tour of the pyramids of Giza. It’s amazing to see in pictures, but even more in person. Then, we went and rode camels (as a tourist in Cairo must do...) which he was able to take some great photographs of us. After the pyramids, we saw the Sphinx. His knowledge of the building process, the purpose and history is amazing. After that, we went to visit how papyrus is made and some local oils. Had an amazing lunch overlooking the pyramids and sphinx. A great highlight was after lunch when we got to tour the museum. Can’t say enough about how awesome that was. What made it better, was Yasser and his intimate knowledge of the artifacts and Egyptian history. After that, did a tour of the local bazaars. Overall, had an awesome day in Cairo, thanks to Yasser and his company - Tree of Life Day Tours. Amazing! Solid 5-star rating!
Starting off, Yassar found us in our hotel, very promptly. From there we went to the pyramids and was toured around all of them, including a camel ride. It was great having our own tour guide who even took pictures of us and explained the city, the country and the culture. We saw papyrus get made, smelled essential oil, walked the local bazaar. Lunch overlooking the pyramids was also fantastic. The museum was such a highlight as well, could have spent days walking around. King Tut was a special favorite. After that, yassar booked a dinner cruise where there were performances and again amazing cuisine. It was really a pleasure to meet him and Salah, they made us feel like family. Definitely giving 5 stars for a wonderful day.
Egypt has many things to offer. In a scale from 1 to 5 our tour guy (Bassem) and our driver (Ebrahim) were a 10. They took their time to explain, guide us and make us laugh. Their honestly and humility was greatly appreciated. His passion for the history of Egypt is contagious and they made the tour more enjoyable. Definitely must visit this great place again.
We were lucky enough to get Bassem as our Egyptologist tour guide and Ebriham as our driver. The knowledge and love that Bassem had for his country, culture and history was evident as he made the history of 5,000 years past come alive today. He made this once in a lifetime trip even better.
A must see tour. My mom and I had an AWESOME time. We were only there for 2 days but seen so much within that time frame. Our guide was Yasser and our driver Salvex ** Is the name of a famous Egyptian football player who plays in Liverpool ** Both guides were very energetic and very informative about the history of Egypt! Yasser was very helpful in assisting my mother and taking his time when she needed assistance in walking on uneven areas and stairs. Overall trip would not have been so Amazing without the assistance of Yasser and Salvex. Book through Tree of Life and request for Yasser and Salvex. Mention brown sugar sent you!
Yasser the tour guide was great! He made a great impression from the start. He arrived at our hotel on time and patiently waited for my mom to come down to the lobby. He was full of energy and very knowledgeable about Egypt. We started our tour with a tour and camel ride around the pyramids. After that, we had lunch. The food was good. We then went to the papyrus gallery where papyrus paper was made. I got a beautiful painting for a really good price. We went to the Egyptian museum and saw REAL mummies. Everything about our tour and Yasser was great! I can’t wait to come back to Egypt and book another tour with Yasser!
Manar Nabil was extremely informative and kept us from spending money foolishly. I highly recommend this tour and Manar as a guide
We had such a great time, and Rasha was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and she took the most amazing photos of us. Highly recommended.
The 8 hour tour we had today was great! Adam was our guide and I love the way he catered the tour to our needs. Half of my family decided to bail out mid tour because they were tired due to jet lag and he happily obliged to continue to tour with the remaining half. We went to the Pyramids of Giza, rode camels, visited the Payprus shop, the bazaar, and went to the Egyptian Museum where we saw King Tut. He also happily took pics of my family without us having to ask which is extremely helpful so we didn’t have to ask strangers to take a family pic. All in all the day went smoothly and we learned so much!
I recently took this tour and loved it. It was the perfect option for someone who is looking to see the biggest sites in Cairo in a short amount of time. My tour guide, Manar was excellent as well consistently demonstrated her vast knowledge of Egyptology and provided great insight on Modern Cairo.
An unique and unforgettable experience. Everything was explained very clear and detailed. Pyramids, Camels & Museum where just awesome! Abdul was very nice and great traductor. Excellent tour, excellent guide, excellent service. I would definitely go back! #sauce #salsa
Very satisfied the way our tour turned out. Rasha our tour guide was very punctual and attentive. She met us at our hotel promptly, spoke perfect English. Our driver for the day was very good, drove safely and vehicle was clean. Rasha made sure our experience was top notch, went above and beyond even after I lost tickets prior to entering an exhibit, she was able to speak to the crew which allowed entry even though I lost my ticket. Highly recommend her as a guide.
Our gide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the pyramids and everything else, the tour was fantastic!
A full day watching the pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur. Including a 30 minute camel ride, a stop to watch the papiro fabric and a place of different essences of Egipt. Our tour guide pick us up early in the morning in our hotel and he was very kind explaining all the history and important things of every site we visited
We went to Giza Pyramid and the Sphinx with my partner that really was an amazing experience and part of my bucket list. Camel ride was good and a must to do while our pictures were being taken with magnificent pyramid as the background. Sumptuous lunch and friendly tour guide Yasser and Amado the driver. We also saw Saqqara and took good pictures with the oldest pyramid of Zoser. Afterwards, we headed to Memphis city, bought good quality perfume and good coffee. Thanks to Yasser and Tree of Life Day Tours. Highly Recommended 100%. Thank you so much!
If you’re short on time or have a quick visit to Cairo, THIS is the tour you want to take! Our tour guide, Mira, made us feel right at home. Coming to a new city, it was comforting when she contacted us to let us know what time she would be at the hotel lobby, the next morning. Our tour started at 8 and she was right on time. We hope into the van and we’re on our way. Navigating the busy Cairo streets, it’s good to have a driver that knows what they’re doing, and our driver was a true PROFESSIONAL! Our first stop was the Pyramids. Mira got our entry tickets, we pass through security, and there they are. I can’t even describe the feeling of seeing these in person. It’s truly AMAZING! We spend time a good amount of time at the Pyramid site. There is no rush and plenty of time to take pictures and ride the camels, if you’re into that activity. As we leave the Pyramid area, we drive by the Sphinx, snap some more photos and we’re on our way to the next stop. Our next stop was at a Papyrus gallery. We are given a presentation, then some time to look around and browse. The way this paper is made is very interesting. There is no obligation to buy anything and you aren’t pressured either. You either buy something, or you don’t, but there are some beautiful pieces for sale. We then head to lunch at a restaurant nearby. Let me tell you this: The food was DELICIOUS and the folks there were very accommodating. You had a choice of grilled meats, chicken, or fish. Also included were soup, various appetizers, and fruit for dessert. Your drink will cost 30 EGP, though. Did I mention the food was delicious? After lunch we headed back to the other side of town to see the Egyptian Museum. There is so much history in there and I can’t even explain it all. Mira also told us that there’s more in storage! YOU JUST HAVE TO SEE IT! All in all, this is a fantastic tour! Mira is very KNOWLEDGEABLE on the subject matter presented. She made sure we were taken cared of, and we really appreciate that, especially coming to a new city. Also, a special thank you to our driver. It may seem chaotic riding around the streets of Cairo, but I wouldn’t hesitate being a passenger at any time, with him behind the wheel! So, come to Cairo, book the tour, and take in all the history you can! Most of all, ENJOY IT!
Love, love, love this tour! My tour guy Yasser and our driver assistant Tamar we’re both phenomenal!! They were both very pleasant, and amazing people. We had a wonderful time at so many different places like the pyramids of Giza, Dashur, Sakkara and Sphinx. Definitely coming again in the the future!
On 18 Dec 2018, we had a wonderful day trip with Ashraf as tour guide and Hassan as our driver. Traffic in Cairo is hectic, however Hassan moved us through the city streets smoothly and we felt very safe with him in control of the wheel. Both Ashraf and Hassan are very friendly and have great sense of humor. They made our trip more enjoyable with good jokes. Ashraf speaks excellent English. He is very knowledgeable on the subjects: the history of Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx. We had a wonderful camel ride here. He also talked about the history of mosques around the Grand Bazar where we had time to wonder for an hour with his advice where to go, what to buy and how to bargain. We learned about the biggest muslim cemetery in the world with tens thousands of graves. A stop in a jewelry gave a lesson of our first name’s writing and meaning in Arabic. Visiting a papyrus paper shop with a demonstration on how ancient people made this paper is very interesting. At the shop we bought a real papyrus painting with our names in Arabic symbols written on it. Lunch was delicious. The visit to Egyptian National Museum, at Tahrir Square, gave us more understanding of the country’s history. Ashraf lead us through important objects which signify the key periods. King Tut displays was immense and wonderful. A huge new museum is being built near Giza Pyramids. I highly recommend Ashraf as a tour guide. The night before, he sent a text message telling us that he will pick us up at 8AM. Promptly at 8AM, he is at the Sheraton Hotel lobby to greet us and we follow him for 8 hours, from 8AM to 4PM. It was so wonderful to have him as our guide.
Mira was an exceptional guide. Ahmed on the wheels was convenient amd efficient. English and Arabic explanations of the important parts of the pyramids, sphinx, and museum were concise, precise and informative. The food at rhe restaurant of choice was good and filling. All in all this was an excellent way to experience the daysvofbtge Pharos in a limited amount of time. Will definitely reccomend this tour to friends and family. Thanks Mira!
We had a great time with our guide Yasser and Mido! We experienced the Giza pyramids, Sakkara and had the best meal in 2 weeks for lunch at El Dar Darak. Highly recommend for the best time in Egypt!
What an amazing, action packed day. Yasfer and Hamida, our guides, were fantastic ! Very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and navigated through the crazy traffic in Cairo and Giza. The restaurant, La Dar Darla, was delicious. Highly recommended!
Bassem was a great tour guide! He takes some amazing photos of myself in front of the pyramids. Very friendly and his english was perfect. This tour is a must do if you are in Cairo! Was a life changing experience!
Manar and Bassem took my husband and me on a tour of the Giza pyramids / Sphinx, papyrus paper factory, Egyptian museum and old market. The tour was the highlight of our trip to Cairo. We were treated like VIPs the entire day - every detail and logistic was perfectly executed. Manar is a world class tour guide - she is a true expert in Egyptian history and life, sharing informed perspectives on Cairo’s past, present and future. Additionally, she was attune to my husband and my needs throughout the day, suggesting breaks when we grew tired (we were a little jet lagged). We left the tour with incredible photos, wonderful memories, enthralled by Egyptian history, and with and appreciation for the Egyptian culture and people. Initially when planning our trip, my husband and I considered a similar tour more expensive company, but I’m very glad we picked this one because I can’t imagine a better experience. I highly recommend this tour and suggest that when you book, you request Manar and Bassem by name
My experience with Tree of Life Day Tours was truly amazing. My guide, Zenab Hanafy, was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. Just myself, our driver Bassem and Zenab, we went at a leisurely pace to first see some of Cairo and then the great pyramids at Giza and even ride a camel around them. Bassem is an excellent driver. Next stops were at a perfume museum and a papyrus museum (both highly recommended). A bit of shopping next and then a tasty lunch was included. In the afternoon we toured the Museum of History and then an open air market. Ms. Hanafy was fully prepared to keep on going, but I had to say goodbye, as I had taken in all I could. It was something I will always remember and cannot recommend it enough for everyone !!
I was picked up in the airport at 08:00 am with no problem, exactly where they told me. We went through the city center, then the Egypt museum, nice lunch. Then the main attraction for a tourist, the pyramid. They knew pretty well what a tourist need and want to see. The perfect spot for photos, and suggesting you the funniest poses. I would do it again for sure!!
Our guide Zenab was terrific! She spoke very good English and we got to see everything we wanted to see in 1 day. We’re glad we chose this company.
We had The Best Day at The pyramides and Cairo on The museum and different sites with The Best guide yasser who knows all of The pyramides and egyptian history.
This tour was a great way to see all the highlights of the Giza/Cairo area in one day. It was a jam packed day, but our tour guide, Ibrahaim Rashad, was FABULOUS! He kept the day moving at a pace that was comfortable for us and allowed us to take in all the wonders of the pyramids without being rushed. I would highly recommend him. He was knowledgeable about the areas we were touring and was able to give interesting information about each area. He was friendly and took so many great pictures of our family while we were sight seeing. I would recommend this tour without hesitation and specifically, Ibrahaim Rashad for his friendly, professional tour guiding skills!
First and most and I want to say thank you to our tour guide, Khaled Mamdoh. My friend and I learned so much with him, and this tour was great, absolutely amazing!!!! Loved the fact that Khaled was so knowledgeable and explained everything with so much passion about the history of the pyramids, the Nile river and Egypt itself. An absolutely unforgettable trip.
I took the tour with Fatima. She was very good not only at pyramid knowledge but also at time management. We were able to enjoy the tour without stress, avoiding the terrible traffic near Giza. My parents were also very pleased and were happy to be able to take the tour with Fatima. I recommend Fatima. Thank you, Fatima. Keep up the good work!
Pyramids of Giza: Something amazing, a very detailed explanation and the best thing is that very agile also solve your doubts. Camel ride: A very fatherly experience, it could be a bit complicated if you don't wear the right dress, but of course it's worth it, especially the photos they helped us take were excellent. Papyrus Museum: Excellent place where you can know the process to obtain the papyrus paper. You're surprised what can be achieved Lunch: No doubt very rich food with a magnificent view in front of the pyramids in the restaurant Abou Shakra Egyptian essences: I am a fan of perfumes and there I found exquisite aromas, I was just going to see and I took 4 that will certainly be the envy for many. Egyptian Museum: Even with a somewhat heavy day, you could not need to know another bit of history and especially the highlights of the Tut treasure, real mummies, animal mummies, the Tut mask and the jewel room. Congratulations and endless thanks to Adam (Yasser) and Salah for a wonderful day.
Yasser our guide(who speaks perfect Spanish) picked us up at 8:0am to start our adventure in Egypt.I don’t carry on fulfilling an expected dream all my life of seeing with my own eyes the pyramids of Giza. On a camel ride we could get fantastic views. Next we head to Saqqara and Memphis to soak up knowledge of one of the most exotic cultures in history. Yasser has extensive knowledge of this Egyptian culture and explained it to us patiently. Thank you very much Tree of life for assigning us this great guide.
