Our favorite tour of the trip! Absolutely wonderful day with our guide, Rania. She is a total professional. The tour through Cairo was thorough but not overwhelming and we were impressed by her knowledge of everything. She is scholarly but makes the information accessible and understandable, so that our 9-year old was also engaged and following along. Rania is a wealth of information about the various exhibits at the Egyptian Museum and showed us all the highlights with in -depth and serious explanations. We saw so many things throughout the day --- the citadel, the Nile by boat, Coptic Cairo, just street scenery's, and our guide explained everything along the way and took our questions seriously. What we enjoyed the most about this tour, though, was our guide's warmth and willingness to answers all of our questions about modern Egyptian society, food --- everything. Furthermore, I appreciate her honesty and that there were no factory tours or trying to get us to buy things from shops. The felucca ride was wonderful and lunch at a local cafe was highly enjoyable. We loved eating local food. We wholeheartedly recommend Rania as a guide and we loved this tour!

Fatima certainly transformed the experience into something incredible. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious! She always has good insight from all the spots. The lunch break was an amazing surprise. Would definitely recommend and return.
This felt more like a self guided tour. Guide did not provide any information about the places he took us to. He did not even bother to ask us if we had any questions. My companion was older and he walked slow so the guide left us behind and the would looked at us bad. I will not recommend this tour to anyone based on our experience with this specific guide. Maybe he was having a bad day…
I dont have enough words to say what an amazing day we had. It was truly unforgetable. The museum was extraordinary, the felucca ride was so much fun, the sightseeing was interesting, and inmersing ourselves in the shouk to shop, haggle (as expected) and laugh, was the best way to end the day. Manar, our guide, is so knowledgeable, very attentive, and overall, a great person. So was our driver, Pazim. We lucked out with this tour and guides. Highly recommended.
A guide can make or bet your tour, and Fatima made our tour the highlight of our stay in Egypt. While the pyramids and Sphinx were definitely awesome to see, the entire day was memorable. The camel ride was an absolute blast, and lunch was phenomenal. We wrapped up the day at the Egyptian museum, and her expertise was evident. Nothing short of a glowing review. So glad we did it. :)
At 0800 hours sharp our guide was waiting at the hotel. We headed to the pyramids and after we visited some Egyptian manufacturers. After we had a delicious meal (never thought Egyptian food would be that delicious - guys please do Egyptian only while there, the variety and flavors are unforgettable). After lunch we headed to the local market and museum. By the way, if you are into a great Turkish coffee, ask your guide to stop at the coffee shop at the market. The people are very welcoming, warm and crazy funny. Our tour guide, M. Gouda, was very insightful, professional and very easy going. He had all the answers, shared local myths and we had super interesting discussions, not only about ancient Egypt, but also about the nowadays life there. Was a delightful experience.
First, I wish I could give Gouda way more than 5 Stars. He was the best tour guide we’ve ever had and we’ve had a lot! The day of our tour the airlines lost our luggage and we got 3 hours of sleep. Gouda was so kind to be flexible in starting an hour later and made it no stress for us. He is by far, the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met....close to his PhD in Egyptology. He explained everything so clearly yet so thoroughly that I felt like I truly understood and it made the tour so much more enjoyable. He picked us up local food for lunch that was seriously the best tasting falafel, it was delicious. Gouda was patient with us, let us take the stops and time we wanted. He also connected with our next tour and to help us out he dropped us off at our next tour instead of our hotel which was a huge help. Everywhere we went, everyone knew Gouda and they all told us, “you have the best guide!” And we agreed, we had the best. Even after our trip, we still had issues with our luggage in Cairo after we left and he helped make phone calls to help us out. Booking with Gouda is a no brainer that you won’t regret.
Excellent guide with good knowledge of all attractions. Very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended Mohamed Gouda if you are able to request for him as a guide for your booking.very punctual with time ..with private tour you can move at your own pace. Transport used was almost new, clean and comfortable.
This was an excellent day spent seeing the highlights of Cairo with Rasha,a helpful, very knowledgeable guide whose grasp of English is very very good and who knew exactly where the best viewpoint and photo could be taken by myself or great by her.She exceeded my expectations entirely.I loved the camel ride with Abo Hawash. He was funny, careful of me and took great pictures also! The lunch and unexpected photo ops with the manager were so much fun an the food was great. Of course the Sphinx, the museum and bazaar were especially good with such a knowledgeable guide as Rasha. She was simply exceptional A++
Amazing welcome & introduction on our first visit to Cairo with Fatima. She shared her enthusiasm & vast knowledge of Egyptian history & culture throughout the day at the Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Khan el-Khalili market. Included special surprises that made our tour so memorable. We highly recommend Fatima for touring in Egypt. Dave & Mary
Ibrahim was an excellent guide. He was great at explaining Egyptian history, so we could understand what we were seeing at the Egyptian Museum.
Giza piramids where amazing to see, Yasser our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Piramids and the Tut Egyptian museum which was an amazing experience to see. Part of the tour was to ride a camel, and that was exciting to ride and view thw paeimids at the same time. We where taken to amazing restuarant for a very tasty lunch thank-you for a wonderful day.
Our tour guide Ibrahim was fantastic! He was so nice and helpful. It was the perfect start to our Cairo trip. Highly recommend!
We had the BEST experience in Cairo with Manar as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She picked us up from hotel at 8am and provided phenomenal “white glove” experience.
We had a great time visiting The pyramids with our guide Adam, he explained us very well The history of the pyramids, we had a great camel ride, wich was fantastic, after we went for launch at a nice restaurant with view at The Sphynx and The pyramids. Next we visited the Egyptian museam, where our guide was outstanding, explaining everything and we finished with a Walk in The bazar.
Took a this private tour with my husband on our honeymoon. MANAR our tour guide was AMAZING so when you book, please request her!!! Our tour started off with an on time hotel pick up. Immediately Manar began pouring out information all about Egypt and its rich history. The driver had a nice clean car and drove us to the first stop which was the pyramids. Once there we walked around as she told us all about the pyramids and how/ why they were built. Before actually stepping onto the pyramid grounds she asked us if we wanted to climb the Great Pyramid (which was not included in the ticket) and warned us that it may not be good for someone who is not ok with being in small spaces. We had no problem with that so we opted for that and it was very worth the extra ticket price for the experience! She took several pictures for us once we were outside of the pyramid (as many as we wanted). Our driver then took us around the way to ride some camels and take beautiful camel riding photos with the pyramids behind us. After that they drove us around to a few shops to learn how Egyptians made paper, oils, and a few other interesting things. We then drove over to eat some DELICIOUS Egyptian food (and I am a picky eater). All throughout the tour and at lunch Manar’s passion for sharing Egyptian history was was so evident in her knowledge and presentation of it all. She is even an Egyptologist. After lunch, we drove to the museum where she informed us about the differences in Egyptian art, their way of life through the artifacts that were there. We saw everything from real mummies to artifacts in King Tut’s tomb, and several sculptures. I was sooo amazed by the time I walked out. We ended our tour at the market where she patiently waited for us to do our shopping and even helped me pick a few things out. This is hands down the best tour that I have ever been on and she is the best tour guide that I have ever had. I learned so much! I highly recommend booking this tour you will NOT regret it I promise you. I feel lucky, not blessed to have been able to experience what I did that day!!!
The private tour with Rasha and the driver Hassan was exceptional. Me and my younger brother were given a warm welcome by both, had cold water, and breakfast at the market. Then we went to the Museum, no queues and full access. Rasha did a great job showing us around and we were given some free time to wander and revisit what we were interested about the most. After that, we were taken to a Mosque/Fort which had amazing views and arhcitecture, and had lunch by the Nile in a cruise. The end of our tour was at a papyrus factory and got our names printed in hieroglyphs.
Booking this tour was the best way to experience Cairo. Ahmed Maged with Tree of Life Day Tours deserves a 10 out of five. He answered all of our questions and then some, he showed us the best sights while making sure we had the pictures. Ahmed was so much fun to talk to, but deserves extra points for laughing at my husbands joke. Thanks for showing Ken the proper way to wave. (*inside joke*)
I was fortunate to have been able to tour Cairo with Mira! She was very nice, accommodating, knowledgeable, and flexible in helping me have the best experience possible. She listened to my needs and wants and made sure that I had nothing but a great experience. She is also a photo pro, taking so many photos and ensuring I came out great in them! I've never been with a tour guide that also did that for me (especially since I traveled solo) so I am especially grateful for her as I now have many beautiful documented memories! Thank you Mira!!!
Mi wife and I had a great experience in this tour. Our spanish speaking guide, Abdul, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us arrange everything and he explained the most important pieces of the Museum with great passion. We recommend him highly!
Today, my family and I completed the 8 hour private tour at the Pyramids of Giza with our wonderful guide Manar. She was extremely knowledgeable and kind. She took the time to answer all of our questions. We had a delicious lunch across the street from the Sphinx and then onto the Egyptian museum. A great day was had and we were happy to share that day with Manar. I highly recommend her on your next visit to Cairo.
We had a wonderful tour with Manar. She was so knowledgeable about Egyptian history and artifacts. That coupled with the incredible treasures in the museum made for an unforgettable experience. Manar worked with us to make sure that we had the experience we wanted on the tour and took us for an amazing traditional Egyptian lunch. It was a fantastic day!
We participated 3 days Cairo and Luxor tour and we just finished second day. Departing our hotel 8:30 and headed to the Egyptian museum and observed main (and famous) items including mask of Tutankhamun with our private guide, Mr. Yasser, who was serving us from yesterday. After the museum we walked through the Bazaar for one hour, the guide never took us to any specific shop, but leaved us as we wanted to go and the guide followed us. After Visiting Mohammad Ali mosque, we have lunch at buffet restaurant (hygienic, but taste might be at average level). And in the afternoon, we visited Coptic churches and synagogues. I appreciate both Yasser and Tarek(the driver) for there services.
Went to the Egyptian Museum, the Hanging Church, the Mary Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Citadel and Alabaster Mosque. Out tour guide Manar was awesome! She had so much knowledge about the history and culture of her people and was eager to share with us. Each place we went, she provided information before we got there to prepare us on what we would see. This allowed us to see things in a different way and we were able to appreciate where we were going and what we saw. For anyone wanting a guided tour, Manar is by far the best guide. She takes you to where you need to go, explains the history and even asks you questions to make you think about what you are seeing. You really get more than just a tour, you get to see things thru her peoples eyes.

Excellent job by our tour guide, Taha. He is very knowledge about Egyptian history and provided a high level of service, even making changes to make our day better, at our request. I highly recommend Taha and Viator. Thanks!

Just had the most amazing day with Khaled Mamdoh! He was super engaging- funny, friendly, a great storyteller, super knowledgeable and a great photographer! He and our driver Sasa took us around Cairo and made our one day in Cairo an unforgettable experience. We saw the bazaar, the Egyptian Museum (where Khaled’s knowledge and passion really shined), the papyrus factory, the essence factory, the pyramids and the Sphinx. He arranged everything for us and we couldn’t ha e been happier. He also had great ideas for photos and was happy to take photos for us. We couldn’t have had a better day and highly recommend!

5 Stars all the way BABY!!! Mike was an amazing guide. We had him for both of our tours and wish that he couldve been our guide for all of our other tours as well. Weĺl definitely be keeping his business card so we can be sure to book him for our next visit!!!!! Thank you , Mike. You really helped to make Jarretts birthday trip the most memorable one ever!!

Today we took a walk through the pyramids. We went upstairs to check the incredible size of the stones. It was a sunny day and we had a driver and a ten-star guide. He showed the three pyramids. We took several artistic photos made by the exceptional guide also as a photographer, named Yasser Fouly. Included in the tour was a ride with a driver of an incredible delicacy, careful and kind. We also visited a papyrus factory and were attended by the professional who did a thorough demonstration and asked us to marry... We recommend these moments that we will keep in our memory.
We had a wonderful day in Cairo, we started by the pyramids of Giza where we made the internal visit of the pyramid, we paid the ticket separately that had a cost of 360 Egyptian pounds (recommend) then we followed to the camel tour (30minuts) where we took many photos and walked through the Plateau of Giza, then we visited the sphinx where we made another stop for good photos :) we gave a parade for lunch and then followed to the Museum where we saw the belongings of Tutankhamun and also saw the mummies of the ancient pharaohs (ticket for visiting the mummies 180 pounds) and to finish we went to the main market of the city to make some comins :) It was a wonderful day, complete even, exceeded all my expectations, our guide Yasse was wonderful, extremely attentive and friendly took us to also make a visit to the perfume shop and the papyrus factory, which was very interesting and only added in our tour, in addition to helping us with a lot of information and accompany us everywhere, thank you Yasser, you made our trip to Egypt even more magical! I recommend 100%
We chose this formula that allows you to discover the essentials of Cairo in a few hours. The guide Adam was at the top, he picks you up at the airport with a driver and adapts to your needs. He has a great knowledge of Egyptian culture and history. He took the time to introduce us to the pyramids or the Cairo museum with many funny anecdotes. We highly recommend Adam!
My family enjoyed an excellent day around all cairo on ungia k explained in english everything about how wonderful k is this country, a great tour with lunch included drinks and much more k we enjoyed as a family
Thank you to Malak for this wonderful day where we discovered the Citadel, the Coptic district, the Souk and finally the museum. It was a busy day and we learned many things from Egyptian history. Malak has complete command of French, which is very appreciable so as not to miss anything. Lunch by the Nile was a nice surprise.
My visit to Cairo was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I always wanted to know more about the culture and thank God we had an extraordinary guide his name, YASSER. A professional guide, fun and respectful and knowledgeable of Egyptian culture. Someone every tourist would like to be fortunate enough to be guided by someone like him. Tree or life thank you for giving us in my opinion the best guide for what we needed. Egypt, a country to which I will undoubtedly return. And of course I would like my guide to be YASSER again.
