King Mina is very friendly guide. I have got a lot of good information about Egupt. His English is great so I can understand almostv100% of explanation.
This was a very good experience. King Mina is one of the best guides that we have ever met. He knows so much about history and is so passionate about it that makes us very interested in hearing him. I would recommend to everyone. King Mina is also very friendly and helps with everything. We are glad we did it, we learned a lot. The ship was also very good, we saw some review saying that the boat is old or the food is repetitive, not at all… a huge and beautiful room , very nice food and every time different ! We are very happy
We had an amazing experience with King Mina during our Nile cruise. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great way of explaining complex Egyptian history and mythology in a way that was easy to understand and remember. He was also very organized and genuinely took care of us throughout the cruise. He even went out of his way to help us arrange a trustworthy private ride for our onward trip to Hurghada. We learned so much from him and always felt well taken care of. Highly recommend King Mina!
We had an amazing 4-day Nile cruise with King Mina as our guide, and he made the experience even more special. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history, very organized, and communicates everything clearly. He always made sure we knew what was happening and where we needed to be, and he was happy to answer all our questions. We learned so much from him and really appreciated how smoothly everything was organized. You can really tell that King Mina knows and loves Egyptian history. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, organized, and reliable guide for their Nile cruise!
The guide King Mina the best! Im From spain and was easy to me to understand him. He know How to tell egiptian history very good.
Khaled, who is an Egyptologist, was our guide. Suffice to say that he was very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited and able to answer any questions the group had. He was also very friendly and extremely accommodating to the group’s and individual’s needs. In addition, he made the trip even easier by purchasing tickets and coordinating transportation, drivers, and additional guides ahead of time, as well as having the forethought to have enough Egyptian money on hand to exchange for the group members if needed. If possible, I highly recommend asking for Khaled to be your guide.
Mostafa was yesterday a very nice tour guide. He explain us propely the egipcien history About temples in Aswan.
We had the best tour guide that anybody could ask for his name is Magdy. He was so educated in his line of work. Spoke clear English and made sure you understood everything about the tour. He knew a lot of the locals everywhere that were working at all the venues that we attended. All meals were included during the duration of stay. Cruise was wonderful and staff were very caring and considerate.
The Whole trip was excellent. Well organized, comfortable and informative. Our guide through Aswan and Luxor Mustafa was truly amazing. Not only so knowledgeable but also very helpful and a genuine nice guy. Anyone lucky enough to have this man as their guide would be truly blessed.
The boat was a good overall experience. Clean overall, food was a mix of buffet style Egyptian food and western style food. The cruise allowed for access to all the main temples that we wanted to see. Sun deck had comfy chairs and was a great way to spend the afternoon. I would give the boat an overall 4/5 stars. Tour guide Magdy was overall awesome. He was the best to have on your side to get you to the temples ahead of the other groups, navigate everything your trip needed and was very knowledgeable on Egyptian history. He had great energy and made the overall all experience top notch. He was very efficient navigating the Egyptian time schedules and adjusting where and when it was needed so you didn’t miss anything. I would give Magdy 6 out of 5 stars. BK
We had 2 days in Aswan with our guide Big Mac and we would like to share our experiences about these two days. First day in Aswan we visited the High Dam and got to know interesting things about the circumstances. After these we were in Phliea temple, which was beautiful as well. During back to the Cruise, we stopped by a place, where traditional perfume are made. Here a woman showed us special and useful essences. Second day, early in the Morning we travelled Abu Simble temple, which was really beautiful and magnificent. Big Mac has great knowledge about everything and he also shared with us some interesting facts during our trip. He speaks english really well and loud so we could hear him talking while there were lot of turists around. He was really kind and helpful for us, he always asked us if we understood everything, or we had any questions. We would like to thank him for everything. The rating is for him and for his guidance.
We did a two days visit of Aswan dams, Philae temple and Abu Simbel. The guide was clear and nice, the service in general was good. I had a small “miss understanding” caused by the travel agency that in the end was solved. But it could have been handle better by both the guide and the agency… Transportation between places was done with good driver and comfortable vans :)
Fantastic experience with Magdy. He was extremely attentive and accommodating of our needs and his knowledge and enthusiasm for Egyptology made each site visit so much better.
Khaled El Saady is an excellent tour guide. We got an authentic experience of great Egyptian food and high quality craftsmen at fair prices that Khaled helped negotiate. He was very knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history and was able to tie together themes through multiple sites. Regularly checked in to see how he could improve our trip and dealt with any requests we had. I highly recommend this trip!
Khaled was an excellent tour guide. I’m very impressed with his knowledge of the temples and he’s very friendly. We didn’t have any issues with the locals because he was right by our side .
I just want to tell you that our experience has been great and we are going to recommend this company to our friends so they can enjoy as well your good service
I really enjoyed the tour and as we had some changes in itenerary we have seen all the sites in program and the Nile cruise was very good and unique experience, sailing and watching everyday life and beautiful landscapes. Guides Dosa and Khaled and all the drivers were very nice, helpful and passionate about egyptology.
We had a great experience through Tour Radar with sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan, then sailing back up the Nile to Luxor. Khaled was our tour guide for the duration and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He met us at the train station and took us around to all the temples in Aswan and Luxor. We also wanted to do the optional tour to Abu Simbel and hot air balloon over Luxor and he arranged both- made it very easy on us! If you're a student, bring your ID card for half price admission. Definitely recommend the hot air balloon tour over Luxor Valley of the Kings ($60), it was fantastic! Some days are busy and long but if you don't want to see an attraction, you don't have to. We skipped walking on the Aswan high dam (just did quick drive on it) and were too tired and hot to see Sakkurra pyramid at the end of our first long day in Cairo. Advice is to skip Abu Simbel and just enjoy relaxing on the boat that day - it's a 3.5 - 4 hour drive one way starting at 3:30 am for an extra $60 plus 255 Egyptian pounds entrance fee. It is a cool temple (two actually), but for the couple hours we were there, it made for a crazy, exhausting long day. You'll see giant statues at Luxor temple and other temples. River boat had a pool, comfortable, nice rooms, coffee/tea time on the deck at 4:30 pm daily, and great food. Appreciate Khaled and his time and energy. We had a great trip seeing all of Egypt! Thanks!!
Excellent trip with Khaled! Enjoyed the sunshine, the food, the cruise and learned a lot about ancient Egypt! Great one!
Great experience overall (Khalid, Peter, Sheriff) Heres some insight on the trip to know before ya go 1) lots of early mornings (hot air balloon surpassed expectations but wake up at 0300 & go all day afterwards) 2) lots of bread in takeaway boxes when you can't eat at hotel so ask for something different if possible 3) do research on attractions before so you know pricing and whether you want to skip some (you need extra money for sure, probably like 300$ if you have student discount card which is 50% off, otherwise need more for adult) there's an ATM stop if you can't get beforehand 4) lots of information from Khalid which is great but tiring after waking up early and going to bed late 5) limited wifi on board available Tour was jam packed most days, some time to relax with travel, but you do get to see absolutely everything for a great price. Well worth it overall! Oh and food was amazing for vegetarian and regular options
Great experience, met all expectations for the trip with many historical sites visited and amazing boat cruise on the Nile, tour guide khaled was very helpful and knowledgeable
The guide Khaled did a great job! told me about all the temples and I also he left time in every temple to explore myself. Also the transportation was perfect !
The ancient history sites were amazing and our guide Khaled really brought them to life. His knowledge of the area was almost overwhelming and his advice about practical matters (tipping, where to buy sundries, etc.) was very helpful. The cruise ship was fun, the food was very good, and the boat staff were great. Can’t comment on the sleeper train, since we flew to Aswan and back from Luxor. Two of the optional tours we took—Abu Simbel and hot air balloon over Luxor—were awesome, but started very early, about 4 am. We were only subjected to one local-craft-tourist-trap store, which is not bad at all for 4-days of touring.
Our guide Khalid was very informative! He always had something to say about everything we saw and also was not boring. Good trip!
The cruise was very nice. Clean rooms, updated boat and a wonderful staff. Food was ok. Nothing special. Khalid was our guide and he made the whole adventure amazing. Having a guide that is also an Egyptologist is a game changer. His knowledge of the ancient Egyptian culture and the different temples was wonderful. I watched many tourists wandering around temples and they have no idea what they are looking at. Mr. Khalid had amazing insights from his years of experience.
The trip was great Khaled was an amazing and knowledgeable guide from the temples to everyday life around the place we went
Your Egypt vacation must include this Nile cruise. Our trip just ended and we were very satisfied. Our guide was BEE, and he was with us from the moment we got off the sleeper train in Aswan until he dropped us off on way back to Cairo. He was our exclusive guide on every excursion and on the cruise, and he was fantastic!! We shared meals, drinks and laughs as well as his vast, impeccable knowledge of ancient Egyptian history. Clearly the time to travel to these amazing places is NOW. No lines, no hassles, no waiting, no rushing !!! And lots of personal attention from EVERYONE! Highlights: picked up from hotel and brought back to hotel on both ends. Private tour guide all to ourselves. Meals on the cruise were delicious and plentiful, though the options were a bit limited (surely due to Covid) BUT ULTRA FRESH. They customized our excursions to us. Great history and detailed info, Bee was also our private photographer!! The cruise and stops along the Nile river were breathtaking. There is so much more than just pyramids here is Egypt!! Things to know: the sleeper train is NOT for everyone. It’s not luxury travel and it’s not comfort minded- however, if you must take the train, you MUST take the sleeper and not the seated one. We decided to fly back to Cairo from Luxor and our guide handled all the details, no sweat. Smooth as silk. And got us a refund for our unused train tix. There was no WIFI on our ship, he allowed us to use his WiFi hotspot. Problem solved. HINTS: Don’t miss Edfu. Bring comfortable shoes. Be generous, TIP. Be adventurous, especially with foods.
The Temples and sites were absolutely amazing and awe-inspiring. I would definitely recommend the optional hot air balloon ride at sun rise. The ship was clean and organized, and the staff so friendly and professional. The plans were beautifully executed, from Cairo (hotel to sleeper train) to pick-up (train to boat), all the visits, then the return to Cairo, we felt cared for (and educated) every step of the way. The guide (who stayed with us the whole trip) was very knowledgeable and careful to separate fact from theory from fiction. Highly recommended. If you are coming from the US, make sure your mobile plan has international DATA. We had no issues using WhatsApp to communicate with anyone at the tour company
Loved this cruise! The staff were so friendly and attentive. The boat was really nice. The meals were delicious. The belly dancing show was a nice touch. There was enough time to do excursions and Aswan and Luxor and the reception helped to set up extra things that I wanted to do.
The guide King Mina is the best, a very kind guy, he cares about the well-being of the tourists and tries to help you with everything possible. He speaks very good and very clear English, he is understood very well, and he has a sense of humor. The history lesson with him is not boring at all. Highly recommended.
We spent 5 wonderful nights on a cruise organized by Peter of the agency “Egypt Best Holidays”. It was 5 wonderful days in the company of Guia Mustafa who speaks Portuguese, (Mustafa is a love of Cover, an Egyptian friend) seeing the beautiful temples along the Nile! Peter was always willing to help us along with his team! The Blue Shadow ship is perfect! Staff very polite and asking! The food was wonderful! Congratulations to everyone involved in this agency! It was all great!! I recommend Egypt Best Holidays for those who want to know the beauties of Egypt!
