My group of 9 actually did an 8 day tour of Egypt. We spent the first three days in Cairo. Our first meal was an authentic Egyptian one. There were no tourists in sight. The family style meal was the perfect way to introduce us to genuine egyptian cuisine. Over the next couple of days we did Giza, rode the camels, shopped a number of local stores and markets, visited several religious sites as well as the brand new museum. Hossam Have us experience local ice cream parlors and some of the best juice stands in Cairo. We flew to Aswan and toured it before boarding a riverboat for a cruise up the Nile. During the cruise, we went to Abu Simbel and Nubian village and even traveled by small boat back to our riverboat! We were seeing everyday Egypt and not just the tourist sites! We also went to Valley of the Kings, a Light Show, and experienced an actual sandstorm which caused us to not be able to do the Hot Air balloons. We had lunch at Happy Farms and Cafe and they had the absolute best food, because the vegetables came straight out of their garden! We flew from Luxor back to Cairo, spent the night in a wonderful hotel near the airport and sadly, our trip had come to an end. I was super impressed with the way Hossam handled everything. One of our group members felt ill and he even knew where the ambulance was parked so that she could be checked out! Hossam Is highly knowledgeable. I like that he used mini-receivers so that we could hear him talk while we did our tour. We did so much in our 8 days and truly got our money's worth. I cannot praise him enough for all he did to make this the absolute best trip to Egypt!

Choosing the 4Days - 3Nights Giza, Cairo, and Alexandria Private Tour was the best decision we made for our Egypt trip. It went beyond the typical tourist experience, giving us a glimpse into the heart and soul of this fascinating country. The pyramids and ancient ruins were awe-inspiring, but it was the moments of watching the sunset over the Nile and strolling through bustling markets that truly captured our hearts. The tour's organization was flawless, with comfortable accommodations and transport. Our guide was a treasure trove of information, making every day a new learning experience. Highly recommended for those who want to see Egypt through the eyes of a local.
From the moment we landed in Egypt, our 4 Days - 3 Nights Giza, Cairo, and Alexandria Private Tour was nothing short of magical. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about Egyptian history, making each site come alive with stories of pharaohs and ancient gods. The Pyramids of Giza were breathtaking, and the Sphinx held an air of mystery that photos could never capture. Alexandria's blend of Greco-Roman and Egyptian culture was fascinating. The accommodations were superb, and the private transportation made us feel like VIPs. This tour is a must for anyone wanting to dive deep into Egypt's rich history.
My partner and I decided to book a multi-day tour package with Bastet Tours for our vacation, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the end of the trip, everything ran smoothly thanks to their efficient organization. The accommodations provided were comfortable and conveniently located near key attractions.
This Trip was extraordinary and enlightening of the historic information shared by our Excellent Tour Guide Hossham Howash his knowledge and the fact that he’s an Egyptologist makes his information more credible and he really took the time to give us individual tutelage and help to make our Trip fun as well I recommend this trip with him to anyone any time from all over the world.
We had a pleasure to work with Hossam Howash, tour guide/Egyptologist for several days while in Egypt. Mr. Howash was the perfect tour guide but took extra interest in each one of us by making suggestions and providing up to date information on places that were no longer available and scheduled our visit in a proper sequence and timing. Mr. Howash was compassionate and attentive to our needs especially when I became ill. You get to see and experience the country in a relaxed way. There is no rush. Fantastic from start to finish. Hossam Howash is a gem. I would highly recommend him to all. We hope to see him again on our second visit to Egypt.
Hasam is an exceptional tour guide. Trustworthy, open & honest about his recommendations. He even took us for local Egyptian food. The best I have ever, ever eaten. His English is wonderful plus he is a historian with a masters degree so you know you're getting the real deal. I will recommend him to anyone. Service is key to me and he is the best!!
An accumulation of professionalism, sensibility and care. We really enjoyed our time with Houssam. He really made Egypt a very special place. Also if you are looking for someone with fluent English - look no further.
Hossam was an incredible guide with an ease about him that I appreciated - extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egypt as well as down-to-earth street smart in Cairo. Reliable and had a great sense of humor, too! This was my dad’s bucket list trip so it was my Dad (70s), my Mom (60s), along with my sister (mid-30s), and me (early-30s). If there was anything else we were interested in, he was at the ready to book us and take care of all annoying bits like tickets, parking, etc etc. He really defined our trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again - in fact, I already told some friends about him who were interested in visiting Egypt!
We had four days in Cairo and Saqqara, our guide was Hossam. He was excellent. He was always prepared, gave us great insights and historical context for the sites and answered all of our questions. He also went out of his way to coordinate everything and was accommodating when we wanted to change or modify something. He made the point that this was our trip and his job is to make sure we enjoy it. We talked with him about going back to the bazaar but we did not like the constant haggling and ridiculously high prices, Hossam took us to a shop off the beaten track that had much lower prices with no haggling. We did have some issues with the tour company (not Hossam) and their lack of response. For example, it was difficult to get information on our pick up for our return flight. Hossam jumped in and helped get us an answer, he also told me to not worry, he would pick us up if need be, he said we would not be stranded. To me, that is an excellent example of a guide going above and beyond his scope to be sure our trip was memorable. I highly recommend Hossam.
Hossam was an incredibly thoughtful and professional tour guide during our time in Cairo. We could depend on him completely for both informative tours of ancient sites, as well as flexible and expert attendance to our specific needs in terms of travel, logistics, and coordination. Our time with him included several pyramid sites, where he could advise on which would be crowded and exactly what to expect; museum tours with detailed historic context; advice on local shopping and individual excursions; as well as as-needed arrangements for affordable car services in the city.
Great experience. Loved the places and saw amazing pyramids and museums. They are MUST SEE places. Hossam is a right person to be. He is there for you, he will guide and help you around the places and if you need to buy anything he will help you to negotiate, he knows the prices and who sells quality souvenirs. Just ask him anything.
