The concept here is a good one. Cairo is hard to navigate and having a guide take you to major sites makes a lot of sense. Having a driver/navigator/pre bought tickets. All a godsend when trying to maximize time on your vacation. However, this experience can vastly vary based on the guide you are assigned. I was assigned Sara who was mediocre at best. From the moment we met it was clear she had her own money making agenda. I missed seeing the underground of one of the sakara pyramids bc she took me to the “best carpet factory” where she was clearly making a side prophet. These attempted scams continued throughout the three days with her aggressively trying to steer my restaurant choices and taking me to the “best papyrus museum”. Which is a hackjob trying to scam tourists out of hundreds of dollars. By day 2, when it was clear i was not interested in her side hustles, she was keen to finish the tours ahead of time. 2 out of 3 days she left me early to fend for myself getting home. I think all of the above is not specific to this tour however and if one got a good guide, this could be a great way to see major sites expediently

The Sphinx of Memphis is a stone sphinx located near the remains of Memphis, Egypt. The carving was believed to take place between 1700 and 1400 BC, which was during the 18th dynasty. It is unknown which pharaoh is being honored and there are no inscriptions to supply information
The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid is an archeological remain in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the city of Memphis. The 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt
The Pyramids of Dahshour encapsulate ancient Egypt. Although places like the Giza Plateau are greater tourist sites, Dahshour is something akin to a great book, telling us great and glorious stories of Ancient Egyptian History. bent pyramid Dahshour is one of Memphis's most important cemeteries and is one of many vast necropoleis located in the great Ancient Egypt Capital. Located about 30Km south of the Giza Pyramids, and in the southern wing of Saqqara, the Dahshour area contains pyramids of the IV and the XII Dynasties. Here you will find the Pyramid of Amenemhat II, and the Pyramid of Amenemhat III, or the Black Pyramid. In fact, the great King Snefru (2680-2656 B.C), the founder of the IV Dynasty, was the first king who chose to build his tomb in this royal area, as it was close to the capital, Memphis.
Khufu's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated
Khafre's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple and the king's pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Several were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860
Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple
The pyramid of Teti is a smooth-sided pyramid situated in the pyramid field at Saqqara in Egypt. It is the second known pyramid containing pyramid texts.
Unas built his pyramid between the complexes of Sekhemket and Djoser, in North Saqqara. Anchored to the valley temple at a nearby lake, a long causeway was constructed to provide access to the pyramid site.
The Mastaba of Ti is one of the most important archaeological sites of Saqqara. The mastaba was discovered by Auguste Mariette. The mastaba contains two serdabs. The walls of the tomb show various scenes of everyday life.
Day 2
2
One of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts, the Egyptian Museum takes pride of place in Downtown Cairo, on the north side of Midan Tahrir. Inside the great domed, oddly pinkish building, the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun and other great pharaohs lie alongside the grave goods, mummies, jewellery, eating bowls and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history. To walk around the museum is to embark on an adventure through time.
The Citadel of Cairo or Citadel of Saladin is a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, Egypt, built by Salah ad-Din and further developed by subsequent Egyptian rulers. It was the seat of government in Egypt and the residence of its rulers for nearly 700 years from the 13th to the 19th centuries
The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque is a mosque situated in the Citadel of Cairo in Egypt and was commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848
Khan el-Khalili is a major souq in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. The bazaar district is one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike

Settlement of the area around Cairo did not start near the current city center. The original seed of what has become the modern city now sits on the southern edges of the city, known as Old Cairo. Over two thousand years ago this was the beginning of an ancient canal between the Nile River and the Red Sea and it was at this strategic location that the first settlements in the area grew up.
The Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is a monumental mosque and madrassa located in the historic district of Cairo, Egypt. It was built between 1356 and 1363 during the Bahri Mamluk period, commissioned by Sultan an-Nasir Hasan
The Mosque of Amr ibn al-As, also called the Mosque of Amr, was originally built in 641–642 AD, as the center of the newly founded capital of Egypt, Fustat. The original structure was the first mosque ever built in Egypt and the whole of Africa
Al-Rifa'i Mosque is located in Midan al-Qal'a, adjacent to the Cairo Citadel. It is the Khedival Mausoleum of the Royal Family of Muhammad Ali Pasha.

I just went on this tour and it was really great! My guide was Ahmed Zaki and he was so amazingly knowledgeable (he has been on local tv programs) and provided a lot of information at all the sites we visited. He was flexible when I wanted to stay at places a bit longer and take photos. He also didn't pressure me to buy anything from anyone either which was really nice. Ahmed made sure that I tried some of the local food and was able to access some areas of the mosques and places that others were not because of his friendly connections with people. Because I had told Ahmed I was a big opera fan, he made sure we stopped by the opera house to get photos even though it wasn't on the itinerary and I really appreciated this and his willingness to make the tour momre personal. If you would like to book with Ahmed, his number is 1005399124 in Cairo. He will make sure you are well taken care of!
Can I just say what an honour it was to meet Habeeb and Sayed. These guys were absolutely fan-tastic. They sorted all the tours out and took us everywhere! We wanted someone reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest and we found him right on TripAdvisor. The van was luxurious, comfortable and brand new. Tours were informative, efficient and definitely worth the price. You always cross so many peoples paths in life and I can honestly say that these guys made my holiday worthwhile and these memories I will treasure forever!
Words honestly cannot begin to describe how good this experience was. Our tour guide Habib was welcoming, helpful and honest. He helped us to save pennies here and there and always ensured that we had the best experience possible. Nothing was too much of an issue. Highlights included seeing the first pyramid build. The pyramid of Geza. Mohammed Ali mosque as well as a range of other experience! It was honestly incredible!
I came to Cairo with six friends on the three day tour. After arriving at the airport, we quickly realized that Cairo is a very busy and hectic place. Once we found taxis, it took the guys 30 minutes to finally stop arguing and get us into a car. Eventually, we got to our hotel and anxiously awaited our tour the next day! My first impression of Habib was that he is a kind and friendly man; but also, he was on time! As he would soon point out, things in Egypt run on “Egyptian time”; Lucky for us, Habib does not. As soon as we started our tour with him and Saeed, who is a remarkable driver, we knew we had found the right people. Habib is a virtual encyclopedia of historical information. His English is fantastic. But he is also able to talk to you about modern Egypt and how history and tourism have moulded the country to where it is today. We have had some lovely chats about many things!!! The first day was the pyramids and like everything else, Habib and Saeed work so well as a team, and everything is on time, which is important with such a busy day. Nothing is rushed and he knows people everywhere, so you always feel like a VIP. In addition to valuable historical insights, Habib will give you advice about where to shop for souvenirs and even bring you by a papyrus shop that can do custom hieroglyphs!! He is a truly remarkable man and being with him is like being with family. He will go the extra mile for you and his positive energy and infectious smile will make your trip the most fun. I have enjoyed every minute of the trip to Egypt and can even say that I am now fairly comfortable with the driving... especially with Saeed at the wheel. If you are considering a tour, go with Emo tours and Habib and Saeed... they will help make your trip a truly unforgettable experience!!!!
This tour is fantastic! We were picked up from our hotel on the first day promptly by our amazing tour guide Habib and our excellent driver Saeed. From there we explored the Bent Pyramid, Red Pyramid, Sakkara, Giza Pyramids and the Sphynx. Habib was such an informative guide. There is nothing this guy doesn’t know. He has a great personality and such a friendly manner. Not question or task is too big or too small from him. On the second day we explored the Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Egyptian museum. Habib showed us all of the amazing highlights and explained the history in fantastic detail! We also went to the souk which was good fun. Third day will involve the hanging church and a few other places. I can not recommend this tour and Habib enough! He made our holiday so fun and special! Thank you Habib!
My partner and I went to Cairo for the first time and we engaged a tour guide Esraa Ahmed, driver Abdallh and a photographer Hamada. This package was so good and was at a good price. The guide was so knowledgeable and flexible to our demands and the driver was streetsmart and brought us to all the locations we wanted to go the quickest time possible and safely. The photographer did an exceptional job of taking great photos at every locations we went. Greatly recommended especially the tour guide Esraa. You can contact her at Tourguide2626@gmail.com for any arrangements in Egypt.
I was so fortunate to have Ahmed Hamed as my guide in Cairo and Alexandria. His friendly manner and easy to understand explanations and descriptions with great English made my first few days in Cairo so worthwhile. And he has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend requesting him as your guide.
Our tour, Nov. 15-17, 2019, was made perfect with an excellent, knowledgeable, caring and kind tour guide and excellent service by this Tour Company. The assigned tour guide was Maged Abdelazim Elbehairy made us comfortable assuring us an excellent and memorable stay in Egypt. He was so caring, kind and his vast knowledge to the tour sites enabled everybody to have a good time. Maged and us feel like we are family. I highly recommend him as tour guide.
I really enjoyed myself in Cairo guided by Ahmed Yassin and driver Mohamed Abu Heiba. Highly recommended when you are in Cairo
He is an excellent guide in cario. Kind and lots of historic knowledge. It was very great tour. Geat photo too. 풍부한지식과 친절함 멋진 사진솜씨로 즐거운투어를 할수있었습니다 이집트의 문화에 대해 많이 배우고 맛있는 현지식도 체험하는 즐거운시간이 됐습니다
Seeing the Great Pyramids has always been a bucket list goal of mine, but little did I know, that wouldn't even end up being my favorite part of visiting Cairo. It's an incredible city with an even more amazing history and it should really be on everyone's travel list. I never felt anything but safe with Emo Tours and we never had to hassle with the inconvenience of ticketing at each pyramid/monument. They drive you as close as possible, our awesome guide Tonsi would hop out and grab the tickets, and we would walk right up to the entrance. It was all so easy, leaving us to only have to worry about enjoying as much of the scenery as possible. Tonsi's knowledge of Egyptian history, mythology, religion, and politics really helped to bring together all the different aspects of what makes Egypt a completely unique place. The pyramids, the mosques, the bazaar, the kindness of everyone you meet - it was all an incredible experience. I'm already itching to go back since we weren't able to make it to Luxor or Aswan this time. I highly recommend Emo Tours for anyone considering a trip to Egypt. And do yourself a favor - request Tonsi as your guide :)
We just wrapped up three days of Cairo sightseeing with our wonderful, informed, intuitive and thoughtful guide Hossam and our driver - also named Hossam. We’ve traveled a lot and had good and mediocre guides over the years. Hossam rates among the best. He tailored the tour and the information to our level of interest. He could sense when we were getting tired and adjusted course without us asking. He was engaged without being intrusive. The three day program was good too - a nice overview of important Cairo-area sites and history. I would recommend Emo Tours and Hossam to all of my friends and family - and to you - without reservation. Tip: the price of the tour does not include entry fees to the sites, so make sure you’ve got Egyptian cash with too. Also: if you’re traveling with teens, bring student IDs for discounts.
This tour and our guide Ehab absolutely deserve 5 stars! We had a private 4 door car and tour guide. The car was very nice, clean, modern and they even bought us some snacks. We met at a time each day that was good for us. If you have any specific needs they are happy to cater to any request. Our guide was full of information about all the sites we visited and might be the best photographer I've ever had! Ehab also helped us avoid the tourist trap vendors and dealt with a lot of the tickets and lines. Like I said this Cairo experience probably couldnt get any better, it was fantastic. The only reason Im rating 4 stars is because of Cairo/Giza itself. The sites and roads are dirty and not very well kept. All in all i would definitely recommend emo tours to anyone traveling to Cairo.
We had the most wonderful experience in our tour. We have always wanted to visit Egypt and see the Pyramids. Our family had some reservations initially but we are all so glad that we went. Our guide was Manar Nabil and our driver was Shapan. Manar was so hospitable and knowledgeable. She made the visits of all the sites come to life with her historical story and made everything from the Pyramids to the Museum meaningful. She was very attentive to our needs. I can highly recommend Emo tours as they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.
I took the 3 Days 2 Nights Visiting Cairo Highlights tour recently in November 2018. The tour covers a lot of sites and is okay for the price but the operators are shady. I booked with them because of all the good reviews on TripAdvisor, but they don't have very good service. Their communication is TERRIBLE. Definitely request a guide other than MAHDY. He is dishonest. Below are some examples of this poor service: 1. They were pretty responsive before I placed my deposit, but it took multiple emails to get a response after they had taken my money already. I asked them a question about the tour on 9/25, but they never responded until I emailed them again on 10/5. 2. My traveling partner's flight to Cairo was delayed by a day and it was a headache trying to coordinate with Emo Tours to get her caught up with the tour. I notified them that my traveling partner would not arrive until the following day, and they verbally confirmed with me her flight details and said that they would be able to pick her up. The next day, when I met with the tour guide, he told me that he knew of no such thing and was wondering where the second person was. How irresponsible! It took a while of back and forth just to get them to pick her up. 3. It's definitely not a no-hassle tour, if that's what you are expecting. The tour guide asked us multiple times and we felt really pressured to visit some shops that were not on the itinerary. If you ask once, it's okay. However, if you keep asking after we say no multiple times, it's not okay. Sometimes we felt rushed at some of the sites just so that they could ask if we wanted to visit some of these shops. The shops are overpriced and I'm sure the guide gets a kickback. 4. The WORST PART is that we were charged by our tour guide MAHDY for something that was supposed to be included in the tour price. I guess I should have double-checked with the itinerary, but a camel ride near the pyramids is supposed to be included in the price. Our tour guide charged us for this, and I stupidly paid him, forgetting that it was included. After we had ended the tour, I remembered this and notified the tour company. They have not responded and it's been almost 2 weeks! They are crooks. Especially MAHDY. I will say that they do have a fantastic transfer guide who is named Muhammed Alaa. He is kind and welcoming and great to talk to. He was the first member of the company that I met when I landed in Cairo, and I had hoped that his service would be representative of the rest of the company. Unfortunately, this is definitely not true. If you read this Muhammed, you should try to find a more reputable company! You are definitely better than the rest of them.
I am much enjoying my Cairo tour with Emo Tours and my guide Ehab and driver Abdelghany. I chose Emo Tours based on its reasonable price, good reviews, and range of activities during the tour. Today was devoted to the Pyramids, we stopped at all four of the major sites I had hoped to visit: the Giza pyramids and Sphinx, the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, and the museum at Memphis. (Few of the other travel companies packaged all four locations in their listed tours, as far as I could tell.) Ehab did well in answering my questions and presenting out lots of facts about ancient Egypt. I have been also pleased also with the tour's flexibility. Rather than visit the Giza pyramids in the early morning when it was hazy, which could have compromised the view and my ability to photograph them, we opted instead to make it our last stop. Indeed, the haze had lifted by then, and my view of the Pyramids and Sphinx was magnificent. I also took a camel ride there, so we packed a lot into one day. While we were in the town of Sakkara, Ehab mentioned that the town was known for carpet making, and that we could visit a carpet-making school and store if I wanted to. As it turns out, I try to buy a rug whenever I travel to a North African or Asian country, so was happy to go. I saw a demonstration and learned a lot about rug making, including some good information about how to judge a rug's quality. Although I paid a little more than I have at some other places for the carpet I ended up buying, I also left confident that I was getting my money's worth. This is my first time in Egypt, and with only three days to spend in Cairo, I wanted to have a good, problem-free experience and see as much as possible, and for their part, Emo Tours has delivered on that. I can't wait to see the places we will visit tomorrow.
Had 3 days tour, on day 1, we had all pyramid tour however I felt the guide should have start with the great pyramid of Giza since had little time there guide didn’t manage to take through near 2nd and 3rd pyramids ! Day 2 was terrible since only had 2 hrs to visit for national museum where it takes longer than that ! After visit wait for an hr. to get back to car ! Which had a Knock on effect on spend less time at Khalili bazar ! The guide was doing thinks very quick which I wouldn’t recommend since you don’t visit those places often and may be once life time ! Day 3 was short and could have visited more places ! I felt like it was a very quick and short tour, I would have like to spend more time in great Pyramid area rather than spend time on carpet factory and paper institute! They should have focus more time on museums too. And more mosques to visit 3rd day ! For that reason I’m rating it as poor ! I think the company should have design the tour as per customer need, not every one like short and quick tour and it should have explicitly mentioned ! They should charge customer accordingly. It was cheap although I’m not satisfied but good value for money. For those who want to visit, I would recommend start your tour with great pyramid of Giza and Sphinx, spend may be half a day there, followed by Sakkara, Memphis and djoser. Spend half a day on museums as it’s full of very old and interesting objects (if you like history and ancient civilisation) and rest in Khalili bazar and Al Azhar mosque. However you can visit Islamic and Coptic Cairo in one day depending on how many mosques you visit but certainly Coptic Cairo can be visited in 2-3 hrs.
We did three separate tours with Emo Tours: Airport pickup and Egyptian Museum, Giza and Saqqara, and Coptic and Islamic Cairo. Mo Salah (like the soccer player!) was our amazing guide and Walid our driver for all 3 days. They were always punctual, knowledgeable, funny, extremely helpful in all ways, and really helped us navigate an extremely chaotic Cairo. We have never used tour guides before, but feel that a guide in Egypt is essential for first timers, especially when dealing with overzealous souvenir sellers, horse/camel/donkey drivers, and insane traffic in every single intersection. We felt very well taken care of, and would recommend Mo and Walid, and Emo Tours, to everyone visiting Cairo.
We booked a 3-day tour package with Emo Tours last Oct 19-21, 2018 under booking ref.: BR-670651570. We were accompanied by our guide, Ahmed Yassin, and his driver, Ahmed “Schumacher”. They were very professional and picked us up from our hostel at the agreed time. They took us to landmarks/places listed in the itinerary. Yassin was very knowledgable and with his teacher-like demeanor, he made sure that we remember key facts and figures of Egyptian history. At the end of our first day, Yassin asked us to write a review of the tour but for some reason our wifi at the hostel did not work so we put it off. The next day, he kept on bothering us for a “5-star and excellent” review. He even offered my cousin to use his mobile data and finally got what he wanted. Our 2nd day ended and he did same thing again. I understand that he needs a good review for his job but constantly pestering his tourists to do it is really not acceptable. Lunch was not included in the package so we took Yassin’s advice to dine at one of Emo Tours’ recommended restaurants. We gave 20 USD or 380 LE to him who in turned paid our bill. For 2 days we had starters, rice with kebab, mixed grill and desserts (drinks not included). On our 3rd day, however, I asked him if we could try other Egyptian food like hawawshi and kushari. He told us we cannot have both so we chose hawawshi. He then led us to one of the hole-in-the-wall eateries in downtown Cairo. What really irked me was that he didn’t let us pay for it. Instead, he collected our money (380 LE) and ordered for us. I can read arabic numbers so one order of hawawshi with mozarella cost only 22 LE as shown in the menu (see picture to prove it). We ordered 5 so it should have cost us 110 LE only or around 120+ LE if tax was included. I don’t know if service charge was included but it’s just a hole-in-the wall eatery. We know that it’s part of business and Emo Tours gets commission from the restaurants but we felt like we were ripped off. It’s not really worth our money. Back in the car, he claimed that it’s Emo Tours who will collect the money from our lunch. But we have our doubts and really hope that Emo Tours sets the record straight on this matter.
The most memorable trip with the most educated guide. Truly a must book if you are looking to learn all Egypt's secrets and have a fantastic time
Emo Tours was incredible! They took care of every detail, and I could not have been happier. Gouda was our tour guide, and I cannot say enough amazing things about him. He was able to take us so many places and share a TON of information about Egyptian history and culture. I would recommend this to anyone. They also were great at working with us when some last minute changes happened to our travel plans.
When you cruise around Cairo and Alexandria with Emotours, you might be forgiven they have a monopoly on the tour guide market. The guides know each other, joke around, give advice to other tourists, this helps to create an atmosphere of trust and confidence. My guide, Ayman Gabry, and driver, Ahmad Mahdi, were the picture of helpfulness and professionalism. Very quickly, we established a strong personal rapport and the tours felt like three friends on a road trip rather than a guided tour. We visited Cairo, the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, a felucca trip on the Nile, Alexandria and more. Ayman and Ahmad were always willing to provide as much information as I needed or wanted, without sticking to a script. I thank Emotours for choosing these two fine men for making my trip to Egypt very special.
Bottom line: this tour is amazing and is a MUST if you are headed to Cairo for a few days. Our tour guide Goda and our driver Midu were absolutely phenomenal. Day one: Goda and Midu took my friend and I on an amazing adventure through ancient Eygptian times to three sites of pyramids. We stopped at a local silver shop to get a custom cartouche and saw how Papyrus was made. Goda is a WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE and answer every one of our questions. He took us to get authentic Kushary at lunch and it was so delicious. Each stop had us mesmerized but the included camel ride at the end made it a wonderful evening. Day two: we first traveled to the Alabaster Mosque which was beautiful followed by a trip to the Egyptian museum where we saw the exhibits, including King Tutankhamen’s treasures! We stopped for lunch at the Khan Al-Khalili Bazaar and then shopped through the bazaar before heading back to the hotel to recoup before our dinner cruise (please see that review under the different page). Goda and Midu kept us hyped with great music and lovely conversation on the commutes. Day three: we started the morning with a trip to Coptic Cairo where we saw the Hanging Church, St. Segius Church, and a synagogue. We then visited two mosques, to include Ibn Tulun which had a beautiful tower with a great view of the city. All in all, the trip was amazing. We would not have seen all Cairo has to offer, or drive through the crazy traffic, had it not been for this amazing tour. Be sure to visit Cairo and ask for Goda and Midu. You will not be disappointed!
Thanks Emo Tours for sending Osama Nasef as my Egyptologist guide and Ahmed "Music" as my driver. My 3 days there in Cairo were such significant moment in my life. My son and I have just returned from a trip to Cairo, Egypt. We booked a “3 Days 2 Nights Tour” with Emo Tours Egypt, and I must say, we had an exceptional time! The tour included 3 days touring famous sites in Egypt, hotel accommodation, lunch, snacks and water to keep us hydrated throughout the day; all at a very cheap price. We visited the Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Saladin and more. We ate at local Egyptian restaurants and we also did camel riding which gave us an adrenaline rush; the experience was amazing!!! Shoutout to Ehab Hoba our tour guide and Fares our driver! These two made the tour even more interesting, informative, and fun for us. They had amazing personalities, they spoke good English, and Ehab, the tour guide was very adept and knowledgeable about each sites we visited. Thanks to them, my son and I had an exceptional time throughout our visit in Egypt. If you are planning to visit Cairo, Egypt, without a doubt I highly recommend Emo Tour Egypt and most certainly Ehab and Fares as your tour guide and driver. I’m sure you’ll be more than satisfied and get value for your money, as we have. Checkout some of our pics below:
We booked everything with Emo Tours from airport pickup/drop off, 3 day tour package, day trip to Alexandria, and evening dinner Boat cruise on the Nile. Ebrahim was with us for all the day tours and provided an excellent insight into both present and past Egypt. We never felt scared for a second with Ebrahim and our driver Karim. They were prompt everyday and were very accommodating with our requests. Excellent adventure. Thanks to you both and Emo Tours!!!!
We did the Emo Tours 3 day tour of Cairo and we really enjoyed it. Ehab and Tolba were our guides and they were friendly and informative. They answered all our questions about the places and sites we visited, taught us some Arabic and even took us to try some famous Egyptian food! I now consider them friends and would highly recommend tours with them!
We had the three day private guided tour and it was fantastic! Ehab and Tolba were our tour guides and were brilliant. I would deffo recommend that you ask for them. They were very knowledgeable and personalised the tour for us taking us to some amazing restaurants for some local food that we asked about. I must also say that their camera skills were brilliant!!! We also were able to top up our Arabic skills from our great teachers! Thanks for a great tour! We will certainly be back!
Ehab was able show me all of the great sites in Cairo. Both he and the driver (Ahmed Maher) were extremely friendly. Booking was easy, even though I booked with very little notice. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want everything taken care of for you.
I'm a South African gay guy who decided to visit Cairo with my cousin between xmas and new years. What I expected to be a rushed tour was just absolutely amazing. The entire experience. Day one we arrived at our hotel, and just passed out, it took us almost 24 hours of travelling (we went with emirates because I'm a miles collector). We insisted that the guy who fetched us from the airport be our guide. Ahmed Tonsi was around our age, had some great banter and was just an overall fun person. He always put in the extra effort and was very flexible. I felt like we had travelled all that way to meet a relative, not a complete stranger. The next day we had a full day of fun, we went to Saqqara to see the first pyramids, then to memphis, then lunch (egyptians eat a lot) and then Giza and the sphinx. I got to ride a camel on Sahara desert overlooking the pyramids of Giza. Felt like a supermodel in those pics. The next day was more museums, we did the citadel and then the bazaar. Tonsi took us to a shop in the bazaar to buy stuff - no hustling, no negotiating. Cheap and hassle free. We had done lunch at a local place and smoked shisha. Was just great. Thr next day was our free day and we opted to do the quad biking. It was just so amazing. I actually liked that we drove through neighborhoods to get into the desert. It was so much fun. We had lunch at a local restaurant and had a coffee and smoked shisha while watching the magnificent view. In the evening we found an 18th floor rooftop bar (cheap drinks!!!), No minimum charge and overlooks the Nile. Beautiful. And ubers are super cheap.
Our tour guide, Eman Ahmed, was incredibly knowledgable as she took us around to see the different pyramids. She also took us to lovely souvenir shops where we were able to find good deals. She was an absolute sweetheart and really made our Cairo trip spectacular. I highly recommend this tour and, if you can, ask for Eman!
It has been a dream come true for us to visit Egypt and thanks to the 2 EMO TOUR Guides Mahmoud and Ahmed we had a valuable experience; both of whom are fluent in English and the History of each site we visited. We were taken such great care of; we were given so much History; we travelled in comfort; got to enjoy great local food; every need was met; and we felt safe and secure in your guidance and advice. We will be coming back again and will only want to tour with your company! Mahmoud even helped us to relocate when we got to our online booked hotel and found it to be a dump. He called and got us a great deal and took us to the new location and ensured our comfort before leaving. He assisted with when dealing with bargaining at the markets; was honest with us about every cost and helped us to find the gifts we really wanted. WE GIVE EMO TOURS A HUGE THUMBS UP AND WISH YOU EVERY SUCCESS IN 2018!
This is my first time in Egypt and I really had a great time exploring a bit of this country offers. Mr. Osama is very professional as well as Ibrahem. Osama is like a long time friend. The way he accomodated us was superb! Really commendable and highly recommended!
Best time ever to date! Such a wonderful experience to share this good times with friends. Mr. Osama did an exemplary job giving us the best tour ever! Aside from enjoying the beautiful sites in Egypt, we have also learned so much from him. Also Ibrahim our driver was excellent! Good job Emo tours! Shukran!!!
You can never go wrong with this dude! Knows his history very well. He is very fluent in english wont be a problem conversing with him, funny man and very friendly.
We just finished our private tour today and couldn't ask for a better guide to take us and show us the amazing sites that Egypt has to offer. Osama was great! We would recommend to anyone that wants a personalized trip. Both Osama and our drivers were fantastic and went above and beyond to give us a real Egyptian experience. Osama suggested a sightseeing route that allowed us to enjoy the Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur sites early in the morning which gave us some quiet times before the crowds arrived and allowed us to see the pyramids at Giza in the clear afternoon view after the morning haze had settled. Overall, great trip! Can't wait to come back.
Our trip to Egypt was marvelous! It was a dream come true for me. EMOTOUR representative, Mahmoud was very accommodating to all my inquiries & request. First day, we experienced the refreshing sunset felluca sail @ the Nile River. Our tour guide Fearo was very thoughtful & kind. He did a great job! On our 2nd & 3rd day, we went to Great Pyramid of Giza, Sphinx, Saqqara, Memphis & Cairo Museum. We also had our camel ride for an hour & it was exciting! The Nile Dinner Cruise with cultural show was very entertaining as well. Our tour guide Emy was very knowledgeable, accommodating, caring & protective. She's the best tour guide in Egypt Cairo.
As a couple engaged with the particulars of Egyptian history and art, we were thrilled with Osama's knowledge on the sites. He was on time, flexible and thoughtful. Furthermore, he's fun loving nature is infectious! Believe all the advice in other reviews that the only sensible way to travel is with a private guide like Osama and his sidekick Mido as a patient and unflappable driver. Osama was also a great help with assisting negotiate prices at various shops. He does get a commission but I believe it is offset by the price you get and the reduced stress of haggling (especially if this isn't your thing). With limited time for travel and so much to see, you are wasting time, opportunities and money without professionals like these with you.
