We spent 4 full days with Mr. Sayed Mahmoud, he was a wonderful guide. Very patient as we were traveling with 2 kids. Paced the trip, customized and gave suggestion. Our kids found him friendly, humorous, adventurous and always happy to help. Mr. Sayed made up for any small hiccups we had with the vehicle quality. But overall the tours were great because of the guide quality, efficiency of airport pickup and punctuality.

The Great Sphinx lies on the east side of the complex. Current consensus among Egyptologists is that the head of the Great Sphinx is that of Khafre. Along with these major monuments are a number of smaller satellite edifices, known as "queens" pyramids, causeways and valley pyramids
The Giza pyramid complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also includes several cemeteries and the remains of a workers' village. The site is at the edges of the Western Desert, approximately 9 km (5 mi) west of the Nile River in the city of Giza, and about 13 km (8 mi) southwest of the city centre of Cairo. The Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Khafre are the largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt, and they have historically been common as emblems of ancient Egypt in the Western imagination.
The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. there is possibility to enter the great pyramid of Cheops but this requires additional tickets cab be bought on spot
Saqqara (Arabic: سقارة, Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [sɑʔˈʔɑːɾɑ]), also spelled Sakkara or Saccara in English /səˈkɑːrə/, is a vast, ancient burial ground in Egypt, serving as the necropolis for the Ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis.[1] Saqqara features numerous pyramids, including the world-famous Step pyramid of Djoser, sometimes referred to as the Step Tomb due to its rectangular base, as well as a number of mastabas (Arabic word meaning 'bench'). Located some 30 km (19 mi) south of modern-day Cairo, Saqqara covers an area of around 7 by 1.5 km (4.35 by 0.93 mi). At Saqqara, the oldest complete stone building complex known in history was built; Djoser's step pyramid, built during the Third Dynasty. Another 16 Egyptian kings built pyramids at Saqqara, which are now in various states of preservation or dilapidation. High officials added private funeral monuments to this necropolis during the entire pharaonic period. It remained an important
Memphis (Arabic: مَنْف Manf pronounced [mænf]; Bohairic Coptic: ⲙⲉⲙϥⲓ; Greek: Μέμφις) was the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt. Its ruins are located near the town of Mit Rahina, 20 km (12 mi) south of Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. According to legend, as related by Manetho, the city was founded by the Pharaoh Menes. It was the Capital of ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom and remained an important city throughout ancient Egyptian history.[2][3][4] It occupied a strategic position at the mouth of the Nile Delta, and was home to bustling activity. Its principal port, Peru-nefer, featured a high density of workshops, factories, and warehouses that distributed food and merchandise throughout the ancient kingdom. During its golden age, Memphis thrived as a regional centre for commerce, trade, and religion.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display, the remainder in storerooms. Built in 1901 by the Italian construction company Garozzo-Zaffarani to a design by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the edifice is one of the largest museums in the region. As of March 2019, the museum is open to the public. In 2020 the museum is due to be superseded by the new Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza.
The Citadel of Cairo or Citadel of Saladin (Arabic: قلعة صلاح الدين Qalaʿat Salāḥ ad-Dīn) is a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, Egypt, built by Salah ad-Din (Saladin) and further developed by subsequent Egyptian rulers. It was the seat of government in Egypt and the residence of its rulers for nearly 700 years from the 13th to the 19th centuries. Its location on a promontory of the Mokattam hills near the center of Cairo commands a strategic position overlooking the city and dominating its skyline. At the time of its construction, it was among the most impressive and ambitious military fortification projects of its time.[1] It is now a preserved historic site, including mosques and museums. In addition to the initial Ayyubid-era construction begun by Saladin in 1176, the Citadel underwent major development during the Mamluk Sultanate that followed, culminating with the construction projects of Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad in the 14th century. Sayed Mahmoud was excellent!! He was so energetic and engaging and trustworthy. He knew all the best photo spots. Will recommend to all my friends coming to Egypt.
Sayde Mahmoud & radhim were great guides. A wealth of knowledge and very easy going. We never waited in lines, and always had convenient pickup/drop-offs. Traffic in Egypt is nuts but we felt safe with our driver. Thank you so much for a fabulous experience.
The whole experience was amazing. We saw many places which are not possible to explore by yurselves. Our guide Sayed mahmoud took very good care of us⭐️ with his help we were able to discover beauties of Cairo in a deeper level. We highly recommend booking your trips with Emo tours😊

I wanted to share with you our recent experience on a tour in Cairo that exceeded our expectations. The coptic churches, garbage city, Ben Erza and Cave Church. Sayed Mahmoud, our guide, was with incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us throughout the trip. Shady our skilled driver, made the journey a smooth and safe one. We highly recommend this tour to everyone looking to explore Cairo. Visiting Old Cairo was a dream come true for us, and it has become a cherished memory for life.
Mohamed went above and beyond to help when I had to get new contract lenses. He had a lot to teach and had a clear love and pride for Egypt which helped make the tour more meaningful. Really appreciated Emo tours' flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile.
I was lucky enough to have omar as driver and hamda as driver (the best driver) for 3 days where I discovered the beauty of giza and cairo. Omar is very knowledgeable, knows his way through the sites and gave good advices on what add or avoid. Really pleased with him. Also he has amazing photographic skills and im so thankful for all these memories. Hamda was very thoughtful he was always opening and closing doors for me and making sure I had water, his english is limited but we communicated well anyway as he was my driver for another two experiences. Always on time always very nice and caring with a big smile Finally it was my birthday and they were amazing in celebration with few surprises for me Really really happy to have been with you
This tour included all the best attractions of Cairo including the Great pyramid, the Egyptian museum, the sphinx, the Saqqara step pyramid, the hanging church, Muslim Cairo and the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. This is a wonderful experience. The daily excursions are what you hope to see. Guide Reda (Rudy) el gendy, a degreed archeologist and guide, takes you to all the best sites in Cairo. He is so knowledgeable, personable and makes this tour fun. You feel safe as he leads you to these great sites. Reda (Rudy) leads other tours on the Nile too like Luxor to Aswan by cruise! His knowledge of Egyptian culture and antiquities is impressive. In Egypt you definitely want a tour guide. This is an extremely good tour and he is a great guide.
I had the great pleasure of taking the full tour of Cairo and Giza with Emo Tours. My tour guide, Mizo, was an absolute pleasure and more than welcoming in sharing all his knowledge about Ancient Egypt. Mahmoud arranged my full itinerary and was also a huge help. learned so much about the Pyramids, the Citadel in Cairo and the Pharaonic period. In addition, the visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo was incredible. An experience I would recommend to anyone!
We have had a wonderful time on our 3 day tour with Ahmed, who became Uncle Ahmed by the end of our trip. Without any request from us, after getting to know us on the first morning, he changed the focus of the trip to suit our interests in Quranic history. He brought everything to life through his story telling. He was so enthusiastic, it was as if he were experiencing everything for the first time. Despite this being my husband and I’s second visit to Cairo we have had new experiences and learned some new Islamic history of the city. Giza was also a phenomenal experience and we all loved the camel ride across the dessert where the view was exceptional. Everything was completely on time. Lunch was a lot better than Ive had included on tours in the past and Ahmed made an effort for us to try something different and traditional each day. He also retuned my husbands snack purchases that he felt he’d been ripped off for and bought them from somewhere else. He guided us on roughly what we should pay for certain things we wanted in the souk. Ahmed really engaged our kids and it was a delight getting to know him over three days.our driver was also very pleasant on the last two days. A misunderstanding about drop off location was quickly resolved by the company. I would whole heartedly recommend Emo Tours and this 3 day package in particular.
One in a life time experience and amaIng tour guide and driver. Sayed mahmoud was our guide and he did amazing! He was always very helpful, explaining everything in deep details and at the same time protecting me from informal sellers or people that wanted to sell overpriced items. The experience overall of the tour was 5 stars, I will totally recommend it.
Cairo was Magical!! From the time we met Mohamed Hamed he treated us like family! We spent 3 days with him and it wasn’t enough! He was so knowledgeable and funny but took his work seriously! We visited the pyramids and sphinx, went ATV riding and shopping and so much more! The whole trip was memorable but one that sticks out the most was breaking fast and having dinner with a family in Giza Mohamed recommended. I will cherish this memory forever! Anyone deciding to come to Cairo I will definitely recommend Mohamed Hamed as your guide because he is the best! Thank me later!
It's my sister's birthday and we're doing a 3 country Tour Egypt was first on the Tour. She used the trip advisor app to SECURE A TOUR GUIDE And GOD/ ALLAH BLESSED US With The Magnificent Tonsi TONSI. The day we explored a boat ride on the Nile Tonsi made sure to make she we had food and everything else we need. He and ABDUL (driver) was so Trustworthy. The next day we explored the Giza Pyramids, Camel Rides, ATVS rides and amazing pictures of the Sphinx. We also enjoyed lunch at an very nice authentic Egyptian Restaurant. The staff had a surprise party for my sister which I Tonsi had them plan which was even better. The 3rd day We had given Tonsi a task of of he could take us to the Red Sea and like magic he was able to pull it off. Tonsi made my experience in Mother Egypt Amazing Thank you Thank you A million times thank you.
With the help from Mohamed Hassan of Emo Tours Egypt, we created an amazing (& very diverse! *smile*) 3-day tour itinerary. From the "must see" sites to the exploration of Cairo's "life museum," we honestly had the best time. There are a zillion tour guides and companies in Egypt, but after a lot of pre-trip research and our surprisingly excellent experience, we completely recommend Emo Tours Egypt. (P.S. Ask for Sayed Mahmoud as your guide!! He is wonderful!!)
We had an amazing time in Egypt thanks to our guide Hossam Mousa. He has such a warm personality(highly recommend to ask Emo tour for him to be your guide!). There is no question he cannot answer about Egyptian history and culture. He was very friendly, explained us everything we wanted to know. Id also noticed that he talked more in depth about subjects we were most interested in (like he could sense/read what you like more). I guess that comes with years of experience and knowledge. He even drew for us diagrams to explain the inner structures of different pyramids. We really enjoyed to get to know more about Egypt. We felt like everything was exceptionally organized and thought through. All respect for Hossam for an amazing job he is doing. We were so lucky to have him as our tour guide! Also, upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Emo tour representative, who helped us to get quickly through customs and to get our luggage. After that, the other representative met us on a personal car with a driver and took us to our hotel. We felt so welcomed which obviously also added up to the experience.
Me and my wife had a absolutely wonderful time with EMO. Our best experience was with our tour guide Omar. He went above and beyond his obligation to insure our comfort and happiness with his performance. We lost our phone on the van that we were using and he searched the van after we were dropped off at the hotel. Four hours later he returned to our hotel to deliver the phone that he had found in the van. I salute you Omar for your dedication to your job. I consider you a friend for life. Also EMO provided us with van instead of a car at no extra cost.
We spent 5 weeks in Egypt and EMO Tours helped us with private transfers firstly from Hurghada to Cairo by luxury minibus to ourselves. Then a fantastic 3 day guided busy tour around Cairo followed by a VIP transfer across the Sinai desert to Sharm El Sheikh. Forget flying, do it in comfort and see the whole country instead. Their drivers were safe and friendly.
Mahamed Hamed is the best guide ever! He worked around my schedule and never overcharged. He kept us safe while taking us to all parts of Cairo while also providing a stellar pyramid tour. I’ll come back to Cairo if he is available to be my guide again. I highly recommend him for all families and couples and singles. He is professional and speaks perfect English and understands everyone travels differently.
We had the pleasure of having Mohamed Hamed as our tour guide and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! We were a picky bunch but he handled our requests with ease and a positive attitude and was overall fun and pleasant. Organized and on time! He became part of the family. He took THE BEST photos to capture our memories, knew exactly where to take them too. Overall an AMAZING experience! Definitely book with them, you will be satisfied!
After watching a YouTube video from a worldwide traveler blogger recommending EMO Tours and specially Tonsi as the perfect guide, I didn't think about it twice. Tonsi took the time to explain each tour we are taking with knowledge and always very friendly and accommodating our needs. I 100% recommend Tonsi as your guide from EMO Tours.
We booked a 4 day private tour. From the airport pick up to the drop off Emo arranged everything. Everyone was super professional, we felt safe the entire time. The car was clean, drivers were great. Our guide, Tonsi, went above and beyond. Tonsi helped arrange our other city plans in Luxor and Sharm el Sheikh and made sure our entire experience in Egypt was top notch. Ask for Tonsi and you will have a hands down the best experience ever.
Our three day tour was an amazing experience. Esam was our guide, and made the Egyptian history really clear to us. He made everything easy and fun. He was so polite and friendly. We highly recommend this tour especially with esam as guide
We just wrapped up three days of Cairo sightseeing with our wonderful, informed, intuitive and thoughtful guide Hossam and our driver - also named Hossam. We’ve traveled a lot and had good and mediocre guides over the years. Hossam rates among the best. He tailored the tour and the information to our level of interest. He could sense when we were getting tired and adjusted course without us asking. He was engaged without being intrusive. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. The three day program was good too - a nice overview of important Cairo-area sites and history. I would recommend Emo Tours and Hossam to all of my friends and family - and to you - without reservation. Tip: the price of the tour does not include entry fees to the sites, so make sure you’ve got Egyptian cash with too. Also: if you’re traveling with teens, bring student IDs for discounts.
I searched Tripadvisor for all the private tour groups, the packages they offered, and their rating. Emo Tours was top in all categories. Then I made sure they were on the Egypt Tourism website as certified, and they were. Mahmoud helped create our itinerary and airport transportation, so that when I landed in Cairo Mohammad Hammad was there to greet me. Mohammad made sure our schedules matched and away we went to my hotel. Mohammad pointed out several things along our way, gave me information on Cairo, and when I asked about Armed Forces Day, he explained how we were on the 6thof October bridge (Africa’s longest bridge, 20.5 km) and explained the significance of it and the day. I was in contact (via WhatsApp) with Mohammad throughout our stay for any updates we had, questions, or requests for a repeat guide/driver. He was very accommodating. Our 2-day private tour guide, Walid Afifi, was the absolute best Egyptologist we could’ve asked for. Each day he regaled us with the many tales & pageantry that is Egypt. We hung on his every word and asked for more. He MADE our tour of Egypt truly magical. Our passion for Egypt was invigorated by Walid’s enthusiastic and captivating narratives & anecdotes. Our driver, Bouly Saad, was an excellent navigator and had several things to tell us about Egypt and its’ culture as well. He was entertaining and kept us safe. Bouly was also very chivalrous opening the car door for me every time – we were happy to have him with us both days Eso Adel was our energetic night guide. She gave us insight to Egypt’s future since over 50% is under the age of 25. Eso was eager to answer questions and have a good time with us. We requested her for both of our night excursions. Emo Tours made our trip of a lifetime magical and memorable. We felt safe the entire time we were with them. Mohammad made sure everything went smoothly and started/ended the trip with ease and wonder. Walid, Bouly & Eso gave us more than memories to bring home, they are now an extension of our family. We continue contact and enjoy weekly updates, hellos and even recipes. Emo Tours is the way to go when you travel to Egypt.
The best trip of a life time. The culture experience was amazing. We made trip to GZA, Luxor and Alexandria egypt. I would recommend this trip to everyone. Once in a lifetime experience, so go! Go book with Emo tours as well.
Ehab was a great guide! The first day we got a great tour of the pyramids, did a river tour on the Nile and even crashed a wedding! He second day Ehab gave us a great tour of the museum. Very informative and interesting. I don’t think the experience would have been half as good without a guide adding commentary and historical context. Then citadel and bazaar. Unforgettable experience!
We booked the horseback riding, Giza Plateau, Egyptian museum, citadel tour with emo tour. We had a wonderful time and learned so much through our guide Marwan. He is really knowledgeable about Egyptian history and is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. He is also very flexible and accommodated all of our needs. Also our guide for the horse back riding portion was very friendly and accommodating as well. His name is Mahmoud Anwar. I would highly recommend emo tour and ask for Marwan as the tour guide.

My family and I enjoyed this 3-day tour our Cairo. The highlight of the tour is, of course, the visit to Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. Our tour guide, Eman, is kind and very accommodating to us. Highly recommended.

The tour was informative, fun and I am so happy I chose Emo Tours Egypt. I stayed in this amazing city of Cairo 6 days and had 4 full day tours with Ahmed Elsayed and really appreciated because he is local, licensed, courteous, informative, very knowledgeable and bilingual. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe and secure visiting Egypt. I visited both the Islamic and Christian Cairo, El Sultan Hassan Mosque, Al-Rifa'i Mosque, the Citadel, the Khan Khalili Bazaar, Giza Pyramids with camel ride, Memphis and Sakkara, the Egyptian Museum, just to name a few. I also enjoyed their photograph tour, driving around the most important Cairo sites and taking memorable pictures of real life in Cairo! He went an extra mile and did everything possible to make my trip to Cairo a great experience. I highly recommend the tour guide Ahmed Elsayed from Emo Tours Egypt. Their attention to my personal service was above my expectations. Thank you!
The time here was an exceptionally enjoyable experience. Our guide, Ola, proves very patient, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The drivers were also friendly and eager to be of service. Trip was well organized and timely. Egypt is definitely a good choice for a vacation and is also, in my opinion, a place that even those from a more developed country would like to visit more than once.
Was in Egypt a few weeks ago. had three amazing days with Marwan.Marwan was extremely knowledgeable and even moved our tours when I fell sick. Not only did I have THE BEST TIME I also learnt a lot!!!
I went to Budapest for a few days with my wife and we say to take a tour, which in the end was 3: Pest, Jewish Quarter and Ruins Bar. Our guide was Amaia (with a Latina as she said), a super friendly and close girl. Fully recommended. Thanks AMAIA.
As in everything there are good and bad things. It is a good way to cope with a city as big and chaotic as Cairo, but with children aged 7 and 8 it is a lot of tute. In addition you go from place to place by car and you do not have the feeling of knowing the city but only the monuments. We were also surprised that we had to pay for the children’s tickets to partem as we booked for two adults and two children and were never informed of it. The Mustafa guide tried to keep us comfortable at all times, and even bought us something at the pharmacy when the little one got scrambled. However he took us to too many shopping sites ignoring our preferences and gave us the feeling that at times he cared more about this than the explanations. Meals, pretty good. Driver Mustafa was great. A great guy.
It was the worst of the experiences, they overcharged us and threatened to kill us, we paid them to avoid conflicts, it was only a 700 peso bill and they charged us 2270, in the end we paid them because I didn't want to conflict, I was carrying my wife. I will never return.
From the first contact, to the booking and on site everything worked out great. Information, organization, airport transfer and the tours. With our guide Mohamed, who told a lot and spoke very good German and the driver Mohamed we had a great time, with great care and individual service. We have seen and experienced a lot. Thanks for everything. Always happy to.
Many thanks to our guide Waleed elmangalify and our driver Yasser. A guide who knows the story well and listens with good will. There are many positive points including mastery which protects its customers from seller scams. They took photos and videos like a pro, knowing all the hidden places for the best views and photos. They even offered us breakfast and coffee. In short he is very helpful
