2 Days Egypt Tour Cairo, Giza Attractions & Grand Egyptian Museum

The car pulled up on time at our pick up point, and Hajer came out to welcome us. She's friendly, knows her way around Cairo, and knows how to plan a good trip. First off, the vehicle is excellent. A SUV, clean, and comfortable. Our driver Mr. Ashraf is a professional through and through. He drives carefully and makes sure we don't feel the vagaries of Cairo roads. He has also stocked water for us, and in our case, managed/stored our luggage as well (we were changing hotels that day). Over the next 2 days, he gets us where we need to be, even offers to stay longer if we needed him for drop-offs etc. A gem of a person. Ms. Hajer is an expert. She's friendly, and she's committed to giving us a memorable tour of Cairo. First she discusses our plan, and work with us to tweak it to match what we wanted to do. Then she adjusts for traffic, various timing related issues, and ensuring we are not spending time zig-zagging through the city. Instead, we focus on the real events. At the Giza compound, she helps us get through security as fast as possible, points the right photo spots for us, and also guides us when to go down one of the pyramid. Thanks to this, we experienced Khafre without a single other person on our way in, which is a rare retreat as by the time we were returning, it was crowded and stalled. SO what an awesome advise and guiding. At all points, Hajer gives us good amount of info, and also free time to take pictures and more importantly experiences. She arranged the camel ride for us, and going beyond even lent us money (as we didn't have the right cash on us for the camels). In GEM, she quickly maneuvered us through throngs of crowds to get to the right exhibits for our shorter stay. Made sure we didn't miss the important first-visit must-sees, and then give us time to pace through the exhibits. At Khan Khalili she enabled for us to visit the Hussaini mosque as well, and shows us through the main points in the bazaar, which was very helpful for our later visit on our own as well. She worked with us to make sure we have the food we liked. One day, the lunch was the traditional Egyptian fare with pyramid views, and the second we went with nice Hawawshy. Seeing our names written in the hummus with sauce was fun. What a treat! We also appreciated that we can adjust our drop-off points as needed on both days to better suit our after tour plans. We did ended up spending way more time on day 1 than the tour was planned for, and both Hajer and Ashraf happily supported us. This is what we consider going above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. What is more fun is that Hajer was more like having a local friend, she was clear in her instructions and guiding, she was informative and shared various aspects of Cairo life, gave us tips on what to do for dinner and evening activities. A very immersive experience. Thank you to Ms. Hajer and Mr. Ashraf for giving us a lifetime of memories. We loved the tour, and are happy to recommend it without hesitation.

We had an amazing experience with Hend as our guide for our two-day tour of Cairo! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and so much fun to spend time with. She took us to some incredible locations and shared so much interesting history and information along the way. The drivers on both days made us feel safe and the cars were clean and comfortable. We also made stops at a carpet school, papyrus gallery, cartouche jeweller, spice store and a perfume store where we could make purchases in USD. Highly recommend including the lunch option - the food at these restaurants was incredible. We learnt so much over the two days and really appreciated how welcoming and enthusiastic Hend was throughout the entire tour. She made exploring Cairo such a memorable experience. We recently completed a private 2-day tour of Cairo, Giza, and Coptic Cairo, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. Our guide, Ibrahim, was exceptional—knowledgeable, professional, engaging, and passionate about sharing Egypt’s history and culture. We had a recent Egypt trip - long anticipated and excited about that did not disappoint. Ibrahim was amazing from helping with planning our trip to the day we left Cairo. As a mom traveling with 2 daughters safety was my first concern. Ibo listened to what mattered the most to my family and made sure it was taken care of. Ibo will great you with his big infectious smile and when he says everything will be handled - he means everything! His in-depth knowledge of Ancient Egyptian is exceptional- my girls had many questions and he relayed information in a fun, relevant way not a boring lecture style.

My sister and I visited Egypt in September and Ibrahim helped to exceed our expectations. He was on time, friendly, very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with great patience and humor. When I was scared on the camel at the pyramids he patiently calmed me down and then walked beside us, documenting the ‘scary’ camel ride for us! The REAL stars were Luxor and Karnak temples - the scale and grandeur completely blew us away. Hot air balloon ride at sunrise: Yes, it's early. YES, IT'S WORTH IT. Absolutely magical and a must-do! Also enjoyed a felluca sailboat ride on the Nile. HURGHADA: Perfect way to wind down. Beautiful beach accommodations arranged by Ibrahim, including all-inclusive package and very late checkout so we could enjoy our final day before the long flight home to the USA. FINAL THOUGHTS: Ibrahim's passion for Egypt, its history, and culture is infectious. His genuine care for his clients shines through in every detail. Though my wife and I are pretty well traveled, travel to Egypt seemed a bit intimidating, but with Egypt Tours Planner it was remarkably easy, accessible, and affordable. Amazing Egypt experience in Cairo and Luxor! Our first guide, Hend, made it personal and fun - she was very warm and made the ancient Egyptian history come to life. She had us laughing and learning the whole way. Saying goodbye honestly felt like leaving a friend. Ibrahim handled everything behind the scenes - quick to respond (even at 5 am), super organized, and made sure our amazing driver Mohammed was always early and the car was cool & clean. In Luxor, Azza was an incredible tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. She was also so thoughtful - even adjusted our lunch so we could try stuffed pigeon. We ended up swapping stories and really connecting. Cairo and Luxor were both awesome - but having this team made it something we'll never forget. Truly a remarkable experience! The 2 day tour overall was incredible. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport. We were taken care of by our guide for two days. Our guide, Hend was amazing. She took care of us and did not let us venture too far. Our driver, Ismael was always on time and very safe and friendly. Our tour was customized and the company was very easy to work with. I was ours highly recommend using this company and doing a multi day tour. Cairo was awesome. The tour was able to solve a lot of the traffic and crowd issues that are inherent to the city. 5 star.

We did the 2 day private tour with Manar as our tour guide and Mohamed as our driver. We were able to see pyramids, sphinx, mosque, floating church, synagogue, bazaar and both museums. Manar was fantastic and was very open to our preferences, knowledgeable at every location, and gave us time at each location to enjoy the sites at our own pace. She was great at explaining some of the local customs and how to navigate the right way. Her English is very good and is a very experienced guide. Would definitely recommend her. If you ever been to Cairo, like many places, driving is an adventure and a good driver can make or break an experience. Mohamed got us everywhere without fail. Knew the best routes, was safe, and always there when you were ready. You need a tour guide that has there own driver! He was great.

It was a wonderful experience our 5 day trip in Egypt!!! Ibrahim organised everything with the excellent and experienced tour guides Henda ( in Cairo) and Rania (in Alexandria). All of the are polite, organised and professionals. It was easy to move with the car ( Mohammad is a very good driver) , the recommended restaurants were Great. 2 optional tours ( the camil ride and the Nile cruise) were Great as well. For every question Ibrahim always gave quickly the answer. When we asked him to visit Kavvafi's house in Alexandria he said yes and organised it with Rania. Generally I strongly recommend these guides for your trip in Egypt.

Wow! I had a beautiful experience and it was all due to Ibrahim. Everything was well-organized. My friends and I went to Cairo to celebrate my birthday. Ibrahim’s tour was by far the best aspect of our entire travel to Egypt. And worth every bit of the cost. We were a group of seven 30something Black Americans (3 women + 4 men) visiting Cairo for a little over two days. A close friend of mine referred me to Ibrahim after his travels with his fiancée and mother, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been connected with Ibrahim and company. We arrived and departed in two groups and Ibrahim and his team coordinated our airport transfers and excursion travels always on-time. They took us to comfortable and delicious local restaurants, and ferried us between Cairo and Giza for the Great Pyramids, camel rides, shopping, the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, and ATV riding and an evening dinner cruise on the Nile. He and his team coordinated everything on our behalf. We literally just had to meet him in our hotel lobby and our days were already mapped out for us. I even stayed another day and Ibrahim introduced me to a local jeweler and Bazooka’s (Egypt’s answer to KFC). We were safe. We were well-fed. We were cared for. We were educated on Egyptian history, life, and culture. And all during Ramadan. We spent our 2 days in Cairo on this tour of the highlights with Ibo. I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed this tour and our time with Ibo. He is a phenomenal guide and gave us so much information in a clear and interesting manner. He gave us a solid overview of each place we visited and each artifact we examined so we can remember versus boring us with too many details. His knowledge of Egyptian history is astounding and I highly recommend you request Ibo as a guide if you find yourself in Cairo. He also took us to 2 amazing local restaurants for lunch which was fun! We packed in so much these 2 days and the pace was perfect!

Our guide Manar and our driver Tarek were both outstanding. They provided a seamless experience from start to finish. Manar provided extensive and in depth information about every place we saw and made the use of our time very efficient as she took us to all the masterpieces and important things to see without spending time on less important items. The entire tour was an excellent balance of museums and natural history sites, along with some local culture and markets. Our driver Tarek safely and efficiently navigated the streets of Cairo and helped make our stops efficient and our time productive. We couldn’t think of a better way to see the important parts of Cairo in two days. Thank you to both.
