We set off early in the morning, heading directly to Bahariya Oasis. The road was beautiful, and we stopped at several rest stops along the way. Upon arriving in Bahariya Oasis, we received a very warm welcome from Mr. Ashraf Kotb, who organizes trips to the White Desert. It happened to be the wedding day of Ahmed, Mr. Ashraf’s son, and we had the wonderful opportunity to experience the joyful atmosphere and see the preparations for the celebration. After that, we enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch consisting of meat, rice, salad, pickles, molokhia, lentil soup, and beans. Following lunch, we headed into town to explore the village of El Bawiti. We visited El Bawiti Palace, which was once an old palace but has now been transformed into a wonderful eco-hotel. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, and we took many beautiful photographs there. We also visited English Mountain in the village of El Bawiti, a remarkable landmark that offered beautiful views and an opportunity to appreciate the area's natural scenery and history. Afterwards, we went to Bakkar Café to enjoy some tea and watch a football match. Later, we returned to Mr. Ashraf Kotb’s house to attend the henna celebration. It was a truly special and beautiful experience. One interesting aspect of the local wedding traditions is that men and women celebrate in separate, designated areas. At the end of the day, we headed to our wonderful hotel, which was quiet, peaceful, and exceptionally clean. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning. Early the next morning, the hotel manager himself, Mr. Mahmoud, prepared an exceptional breakfast for us. It included fried eggs, fava beans, luncheon meat, honey, Egyptian halva, jam, bread, and cheese. There was also a special corner for hot drinks, including tea, mint, anise, and coffee, as well as another corner offering fresh fruits such as melon, bananas, guavas, grapes, and plums. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. A special thank-you to Mr. Mahmoud for his wonderful hospitality and warm welcome! After breakfast, we set off in a 4×4 safari vehicle with Mr. Ashraf to visit the Mummies Museum, which houses mummies dating back to the Greco-Roman period. We also learned about an entire underground tomb that has not yet been made accessible to visitors. Afterwards, we visited the Tomb of Bannentiu, which was truly remarkable. Next, we prepared for our adventure in the Black Desert and the White Desert. Accompanied by Mostafa, we stopped at the local market to buy some snacks, water, and juice to enjoy along the way. The journey into the desert was breathtaking, surrounded by magnificent mountains and stunning natural scenery. We listened to Bedouin music throughout the drive, which made the experience even more special. During our desert adventure with Mostafa, we visited Crystal Mountain in the White Desert, a stunning natural formation famous for its sparkling quartz crystals and unique geological beauty. It was a wonderful opportunity to admire this extraordinary natural landmark and take beautiful photographs. We then enjoyed an incredible safari ride over the sand dunes. Mostafa was an excellent driver who handled the vehicle skillfully and demonstrated impressive knowledge of the desert and its hidden gems. We also tried sandboarding in the White Desert, which was an absolutely amazing experience! Throughout the trip, we were accompanied by our tour guide, Mr. Mohamed Khalil, who has extensive knowledge about the area. He was always attentive to our needs and made every effort to ensure we enjoyed the journey to the fullest. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication made our experience even more enjoyable and comfortable. I went for a 2-day overnight tour from El Alamein to White Desert and it was great. The driver Mohamed Ismail was punctual and professional. The guides for the desert Mohammed and his younger brother Mahmoud made this trip interactive and very engaging. Would recommend to other people who would want to see the desert.

Mohamed Ismail is a super nice driver. He drove us from Luxor to the desert in the middle of the night and it was a very relaxed journey thanks to him !

Impossible to fault this tour from start to finish. We were picked up and returned to our accommodation by Mohamed Ismail who navigated the hectic Cairo traffic safely and along our route pointed out points of interest and provided insight. He introduced us to Egyptian Coffee which was very drinkable.He drove very safely mindful of our comfort. He dropped us off at a lovely homestyle restaurant for lunch where we were collected by our guides for the Black and White deserts. The deserts section of our tour was brilliant, Moustafa and Medo were fantastic, informative, educational, devoted to their roles. The scenery we saw was out of this world it was so beautiful. Moustafa 4x4 driving skills were excellent as we traversed the sand dunes he drove safely but still managed to get the adrenaline pumping in us both. We were also privileged to be entertained by them both during our overnight stay in the new white desert with Bedouin tunes and songs. They returned us to Mohamed who again drive us safely back to our hotel. We left a pair of sunglasses in his car and although it was going to take him an hour to get them to us it was exactly what he did.

New year’s eve in the white desert with dinner and music till midnight after visiting the crystal mountain and black desert was a memorable experience. Our tall driver Mustafa was a great driver with many talents including playing the flute till new year. We were looked after well and felt very safe with them. Very kind hearted bedouin people who looked after us throughout the desert experience. one useful tip; If you are spending the night in the desert, a little pen torch and an inflatable pillow is very useful. The very efficient Rana Samy from Marsa Alam Tours organized the 2-day White Desert tour for us four women with Mohamed (guide/4x4 driver/cook) from Egypt Camp White Desert. Incredible experience. It is a pity about the Spanish-speaking guide we were assigned, which was what clouded the trip a little. The rest was all perfect.

We had a very nice two days. Lots and good food during the tour. Very large and clean car/bus in which we were transported. Both our driver (Mohamed Ismail) and our guide spoke very good English. Everything was provided. We felt very safe and at ease for two days! Very handy also that they picked us up in Luxor and dropped us off in Cairo after the tour. We could ask anyone anything.

Bardzo polecam wycieczki z biurem podróży Mars al Alam Tour. Mieliśmy dwie, jedna do Sakkary, Memphis i piramid w Dahshur druga dwudniową na czarną i białą pustynię. Wszystko wspaniale zorganizowała agentka biura Rana Samy, która była z nami w kontakcie mailowym i na what’s up. Było to niesamowite przeżycie. Jeszcze raz bardzo polecam wszystkim, bez względu na wiek.

He spent a night in the desert accompanied by two Bedouins (Mustafa and Hamza). We were very well, they were all very kind and helpful. They provided us with everything, delicious food, songs and dances around a campfire along with other couples of tourists. The second day we left for Luxor accompanied by two drivers also very helpful and kind. An eight-hour journey faced by taking the right breaks. On the third day we visited Luxor together with our Nubi guide, very knowledgeable and also very kind and helpful. After the tour, around 4pm we left to return to Cairo. Again our driver was very kind and helpful, offering us food and asking for information for us when we had difficulty finding our hotel right away. It is a challenging and rich itinerary that requires energy, but that I highly recommend.

We took a 3 day and 2 night excursion between Luxor and Cairo, visiting in the middle of the white and black deserts with a night camping that was memorable. We then visited the surroundings of Bahariya Oasis which were very friendly. Trips are made in 4x4 often off-road with guaranteed sensations in the dunes (drivers like to have fun). The hotel was nice with a small haven of greenery and several animals. The only downsides were the lack of functional Wifi and ageing amenities. Our driver Mohamed Ismaïl was very kind, comfortable private minibus, explanations in quality English. It's nice not to have to deal with anything about meals and travel, which is usually negotiated all the way across the country.
