We were so happy to see one of the oldest hotels in Cairo so well-maintained better than most of the modern hotels with the prime location beautiful views and extremely friendly, professional and elegant staff on all locations. Specific thanks to Mohamed Hussein who is like a star on the morning breakfast service with a welcoming smile and eager to help guests not only to have breakfast but to enjoy the experience, the Egyption food and explaining the selections and mixes. Not only him but the entire team are energetic, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Helmi and Nardeen on the front desk with the best first-impression and their continued support along our stay. Well done to all the team I wish I could nominate you all. Highly recommended and will definitely come again

Excellent stay at The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Cairo overlooking the Nile and within walking distance of Tahrir Square. The room was elegant, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The staff were professional, attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast and lunch offered a great variety with excellent quality, and the overall atmosphere reflected true luxury and hospitality. A memorable experience, and I would definitely choose this hotel again
Our stay got off to the perfect start thanks to Nadeem at reception. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a big smile that immediately made us feel at home. His friendly attitude and enthusiasm made us even more excited for our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Nadeem for making such a wonderful first impression. Team members like him truly make a difference, and we really appreciate the outstanding hospitality. We’re looking forward to the rest of our stay!
Start with location which is superb It is in the heart of downtown Cairo making it super convenient for those who like to see the late 1800' and early 1900's architecture of the city, which I guess no more tourists are attracted to this type of travel any more but a bunch of oldies who have nostalgia to those years. On the other hand, the front side of the hotel overlook the River Nile. A magnificent scenery especially during dark hours of the day. The old Egyptian Museum is few paces from the back of the hotel, the exact exit that leads you to the Tahrir Square and the Khedivian Cairo. My room overlooking the river was spacious with 2 queen size beds and amenities that a 4 or 5 stars hotel supposed to has. Clean bathroom butvthe room itself has its minor cleaning issues. View from the stretched wide glass window is beautiful. Noise from traffic in the front road is perfectly insulated in the contrary to music from some where in the hotel that keep penetratining my ears from midnight to the early hours of the day. A noticeable wide gab in the door could be the reason. Some reviews referred to the rooms as outdated I think yes and the management keep the rooms that way as part of the history and character of the hotel. Not much to say about the intercontinental breakfast. As good as in other similarly stared hotels. I have no extraordinary experience in this Ritz, actually I was surprised who much this hotel is like any other 4 or 5 stars hotel I have been to in Egypt before and it offers no exceptional stay despite the big name. Me my self would recommend it for those who just want to walk through the streets and alleys of Early 19th century Cairo.
Our stay was amazing! Thank you to Chef Qareem for making our breakfasts so special every morning. It really was a delight to see his attentiveness and smiling face everyday. Thank you to Wahid, our server at breakfast. He was so professional and courteous. And a thank you to all the managers too! Breakfast is never an easy service to run so we appreciate how fast and clean everything was. Ahr, the doorman, was so sweet! He gave us some great recommendations of things to see in Cairo and he ran over to give us waters knowing we were gonna have a long day of sightseeing. And lastly, I’m not sure of his name but the gentleman that cleaned our room on Thursday March 5th left it spotless and so organized. The little details were definitely noticed and appreciated! (Apologies if any of these names are spelled incorrectly.) Can’t wait to come back!
