We stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolute gem. There are so many scammy hotels around that neighborhood but these guys are really good. They even dropped us to the airport at 6am in the morning.

Great views from the restaurant top, not our room, easy access to the Pyramids and the Grand museum, staff were friendly and accommodating. The only problem was we felt scammed with the tours, which included a driver and guide, all tickets and lunch but does not include a drink. We payed for 4 days for both and we didn't get a guide on the last day, but still payed $1600 USD with $50 cash for the staff at the hotel, which is very expensive for what we got. We also felt rushed through the sites by one of the guides. The second day started late and finished early, 10-3. You really don't need a guide, Egypt is very safe and easy to navigate with a driver who can speak a small amount of English. This also didn't include the fact you need to tip the guide and driver every day as well because they tell you that they are not paid well by the hotel. The day we posted our review the hotel rang us several times within half an hour of our post being uploaded, wanting us to change our review (which we scored an 8/10 but was disappointed with the cost of the tour). They said they would refund some money, this however did not happen. The breakfast is very simple, all other meals are ordered in. Our chicken and chips from their Hotel Menu was KFC nicely plated. We spent another 9 nights in Luxor and Aswan and none of our tour expenses have been anywhere near that amount. We feel that we were rushed into paying that amount after travelling 22 hours from Australia. We were tired and very pressured to organise and pay for a tour. This has never happened to us before. Lesson learnt.... Stay alert!!!
Me and my wife lived in the hotel for 3 nights with our teenage kids. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. This is a family owned and very clean hotel. Compared to other hotels, I found this really good because of 1/ you will feel the warmth and welcome from the owner Mahmoud and 2/ proximity to the pyramids and GEM. He goes the extra mile to take care of his guests . He also arranged us very good and well organized pyramid tour with car and guide on day 1 and Cairo city tour with Nile cruise on day 2 with car and guide. He also arranged us pickup and drop of to airport, the driver waited for 2 hrs when our plane was delayed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
we stayed here last week for few days. They arranged a pick up from Misr train station as we were travelling from Alexandria. The owner Mr. Mahmoud was so helpful as a real brother ( he called me brother always ) and arranged a room so that from our window we could see pyramids. He was so concerned about his guests in all aspects. Since our return flight to Abu Dhabi was late night, he even agreed for a late check out without any additional charge. For our drop off to airport he arranged a car with very reasonable charge. I strongly recommend this facility to families and any traveler going to Giza, Cairo for a peaceful stay with all basic requirements including a breakfast with homely atmosphere. Our thanks to brother Mahmoud and all other staffs.
For anyone with limited budget, I STRONGLY recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. This is a family owned hotel. I will never forget their hospitility, service and friendliness. I sent my flight details ahead of time and Mr Ibrahim was there at the airport to pick me up very early in the morning (5:00am). He also brought freshly prepared and tasty falafal sandwich for me and my wife. Although check-in time was 2:00pm, a room was made available to me free of charge. The hotel is above 5th floor and the dining room on the 7th floor. Therefore all pyramids with Sphinx are clearly visible without any special efforts. This is really icing on the cake. I arrangeed my taxi service ahead of time. The taxi guy sent me "on my way" message to me. All of a sudden several taxi guys showed up. The were speaking Arabic, and I was in english. Mr Mahmud (owner) came to rescue me. He sorted things to find my taxi guy. Without Mahmud I would have been lost. To make the long story short, King Khafren View INN is my home away from home. I will definately stay there again too. -- Nuru Parkar
