Good experience and great guide, no cost attractions could be visited by self drive. Not quite value for money considering this, but it was our choice to have a day not driving.

The tour was canceled by the operator approximately 3 hours before the scheduled start. The reason given was weather and downed trees. I am still waiting on the requested refund to our account.
Great friendly guide who either picks up from your hotel and drops you back or collects and returns from Reef Terminal. Very knowledgeable guide who knows his way around Cairns and surrounds. Takes you to some beautiful places where you could not go on your own if on vacay. I would recommend it. Waterfalls, cascades, swimming in them if weather permits, stop at the best bakery for snacks, visit to the Cairns Botanic Gardens which is the starting point. Make sure you have aeroguard for mosquitoes, although guide has that and umbrellas for rainy weather.
The small group setting allows for greater interaction with the tour guide providing for a dipper dive into the local flora, fauna and culture.
Was a wonderful trip Very very good tour guide. She went the extra mile for sure. Luv all the things we did.
Anton was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable and imported great nuggets of information throughout the trip and went out of his way to make it a special day for us both.
Wolf was a great guide, very knowledgeable and a very good driver. Excursion was just the right length of time
Great experience, lovely tour guide, great price. Stunning views and beautiful drive. Would rate 10/10
Had a lovely time visiting some beautiful locations outside Cairns. With the opportunity to swim in the refreshing waters in two different spots in the rainforest.
My Partner and I did the explorer tour with this company and have nothing bad to say! Our tour guide Vanessa was so welcoming and engaging which made our day super exciting and comfortable. The views were amazing and Vanessa continued to amaze us with her interesting facts about Cairns. Would definitely recommend for those wanting a half day tour as you still got to experience the incredible scenery. Will definitely do this again!
We booked very last minute and they were extremely accommodating. The whole trip was brilliant. We saw lots of tropical plants at the Botanical Gardens before heading the the Crystal Cascade Falls which were stunning. Not only was swimming under a waterfall just a dream, we also saw the biggest spider we have ever seen, from a safe distance and a turtle chilling on a rock. Our visit to the Behana Gorge Falls surpassed even the Falls. Stunning and really remote. By the end of the day we had seen so many highlights and views we would have never have experienced without this tour. So much packed into one your. Highly recommended.
Lovely and relaxing 5-6 hr tour mainly to Crystal Cascades and Behana Gorge. We had Vanessa as our guide who was lovely and a great driver. There was only my husband and I on the tour which was fantastic, most other companies would have cancelled it. Nice and slow paced with no strenuous walking, the minibus even took us right to the Behana Falls which saved a 45 minute walk each way! Perfect for people who don’t want to do a whole day’s tour, and saved the hassle of hiring a car. The company is called Cairns Canyoning but they do lots of different tours and activities, I would highly recommend them
While our experience with the booking office left a lot to be desired, our tour guide Anton more than saved the day. Originally, we booked the full-day Atherton Tablelands Waterfall Adventure, but after two cancellations by the office, we were left with no choice but to join the half-day Explorer Tour—with no mention of compensation for the difference. That said, we’re incredibly thankful we got to spend the day with Anton. He was everything you could want in a guide—genuinely knowledgeable about the region, full of hilarious jokes, and armed with a playlist full of absolute bangers. His energy, storytelling, and passion for the area transformed what could’ve been a disappointing day into a really memorable experience. We had a great time exploring the waterfalls and swimming holes, and that’s entirely thanks to Anton’s effort and enthusiasm. If you end up on one of these tours, cross your fingers that he’s your guide—you won’t regret it.
Lovely tour, great easy way to see the nature of the area without too much trouble or taking up too much time. Vanessa was amazing!
Anton, our tour guide is so professional and kind. He gave the most interesting facts on the flora and fauna of Cairns rainforest and waterfalls. The small group arrangements cater to our needs and interests perfectly. A great day out!
Our guide Anton was great. Full of knowledge about trees and wild life. Also sugarcane and water supplys .
Our guide Paige was great, however I don’t feel we did all the sites listed and the issue with the tour buses put me off a little. The eatery places were not open. One place was extremely slippy & difficult to get to.
Paige was our wonderful guide who gave us a very personalised tour of beautiful locations around Cairns. I would highly recommend as a cruise passenger as they were very flexible.
Amazing! Saw so much, brilliant waterfalls after the rain. Tour guide, Dom, was knowledgeable & a great sense of humour which added to the fun. Highly recommend!
Page was a wonderful driver and guide. Kept us very involved and very interactive all the way. She was very knowledgeable and quite friendly.
The actual tour was great and the your guide was awesome. Unfortunately Tripadvisor gave us the wrong address gave us false information about pick up points and it seems not the best price, overall they cost us lost time and stress trying to find the company, I would not use Tripadvisor again, just use the local Australian tour companies.
