Awesome experience with an amazing view. My instructor was very professional but also very cool to talk with and made me feel totally relaxed. Everything about the process was very smooth. I highly recommend this activity if you’re in the area and want the thrill of a lifetime!

The staff is very friendly, the location is great. The foto package didn‘t work out as expected, but they did what they could. Could be more information about the jump itself (length etc.)

Awesome experience start to finish. Friendly reception staff, excellent set up and encouraging sky divers. I’m on the maturer scale of years around the sun and loved every minute of it. If you’re in two minds just go for it.

Very friendly and funny staff. They made me feel very safe trough the whole experience, when I was a bit nervous being my first time skydiving.

My initial trip was cancelled due to weather. Fortunately, I managed to find time for me to postpone and squeeze into my itinerary. And I am glad that I did it. It was the most exciting thing I had ever done. The crew were friendly and able to calm me (who have a phobia of heights). Whole event was quite fast but it was something that i will remember for the rest of my life. I am glad I went ahead, despite my phobia of heights. Earned some bragging rights for doing this.

This was my first time doing a tandem sky dive and I am so glad I did it with this company. I came to the sky dive with my husband (who is a thrill seeker and has done ski diving before). The company arranged for a shuttle bus to take us from our hotel to the sky dive centre. Then we were able to watch an introductory video. We then met our sky dive experts. My Sky dive expert was Josh and he made me feel completely at ease. Josh talked me through the safety steps to take and kept me at ease. We got into the shuttle bus to the air strip and before I knew it, I was jumping out the plane. The company follows safety guidance strictly without spoiling the thrill and excitement of the activity. Josh captured a video of our whole interaction from the dive centre right until we landed. I highly recommend using this company for doing your sky dives!!!

Sam was amazing! He made sure I was calm throughout and the entire trip from take off to the jump to the landing was perfect! I felt very safe and was not afraid at all! Highly recommend! A small note the operator might change the timing of the jump so you need to keep that in mind while booking!

I thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime for me... but is now searching for options on how to skydive again - first tandem again, but later solo... If you are considering - then DO IT!!!

What a great experience! We were both quite nervous as this was our first ever sky dive but Trip and Ben both put our minds at ease! They were both hilarious and we felt very safe with them! The whole experience was well organised & we are so glad we did it! Photos and videos are a must!

Absolutely amazing experience with an amazing company. From the moment you set foot in the main office to the big skydive itself the staff put you at ease. The skydivers were absolutely brilliant. You have to try this it is amazing and a feeling you can't get from anything else. Make sure you buy the video and picture package well worth the money.

What an AMAZING experience!! The staff were so friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. This was such a quick adventure there really wasn’t time to get nervous. They kept us engaged and moving. Everything from start to finish was an unreal experience. The staff do this so many times per day but they made sure your trip felt special and encouraged/congratulated you every step of the way. I can’t recommend it enough!!! Definitely purchase the video/photos. The staff document everything and make sure you have great footage to remember your trip.

The experience of skydiving with Cairns Skydive was excellent. I was happy to be paired with Brant and even happier to learn he was a veteran of over 10,000 jumps spanning 20 years. Brant was great and helped make the experience as pleasant as hurtling out of a plane strapped to another guy can be. Had to go first- eep, but I just collected my balls and went with it. I'm glad to tick this one off the bucket list. Also footage was great. Thanks guys!

A truly spectacular experience with great guys! An 0745 free pick up to the drop zone. Excellent and easy instruction and safety brief followed by lots of good humour. The videography from the hand-cam is amazing. This is one experience to certainly do if you are holidaying in Cairns. Perfect weather for us, blue skies, no wind an a smattering of fluffy cloud! Done the 15,000 ft skydive. The morning was very well organized and It was an incredible experience, the instructors were so friendly and there was a great atmosphere.

Horrible experience, so called manager Shelley is useless. We booked through a third party, confirmed and paid, we get to our appointment and suddenly they have no knowledge of it at all. They make us wait for hours and only to be told they may be able to put us in a later flight to jump but they cannot guarantee us a jump. Poor form as this was an admin error on their side and at no fault of our own at all and yet they think they are doing us a favour for their error?! There manager cannot deal with internal errors at all, she is rude and has no consideration for any inconvenience caused by their company.

<p>The tandem jump was alright. What I did not like so much, is that it was too touristy. It lacked the personal instruction from the jump partner. This was replaced by a ca. 10 minute video, which I personally did not like. I have jumped tandem this year, here was a super personal briefing. I think that's a lot better, just for safety reasons. With me, 7 other girls and boys jumped, so we were to 17 8 tourists one jump guide pilot in a small plane and sat like the chickens on the pole. It went straight out without any mental preparation. It felt like a show. After the free fall, I should do the exercise of how to contract the legs to land. Which I personally did not like well, because these are exercises that you should do before the jump. There was no real time to enjoy the surroundings. In addition, my jump pilot either hit me hard on the shoulder and my head was always pushed rather hard, because I should see down instead of in the area. I found that in the middle of a tandem jump very unpleasant. In the end I could not really enjoy the bounce. In contrast to my first jump I was pretty disappointed, even though we jumped off in Cairns near the sea. That's why my rating is not that high.</p>

<p>This was one amazing experience for a life time. The staff was friendly and informative. Made us feel very safe and sure. The jump itself was wonderful and the free fall absolutely wonderful. When the parachute does open the harness does pull up a little tightly but the views below and the experience overall is worth the lack of comfort. <br/> The only thing they need to change is the obnoxious amount of money charged for pictures and videos. Ideally one souvenir picture should be included complementary in the dive or a couple of pictures should be available at a nominal price. With photo packages starting at 80 per person we had to opt not taking any pictures at all.</p>

<p>My tandem/instructor was Victor. He was very friendly he gave clear and precise instructions making me feel safe. The whole experience was incredible and not as scary I thought it was going to be. It was a beautiful day but we fell thought a cloud which was amazing!!! <br/> One this to remember is that the cost of the photos and videos are not included in the price and are almost as expensive as the jump itself so keep that in mind but its worth every penny.</p>

<p>This was a well organised event. All the staff were professional and I felt that safety was paramount. The jump itself was amazing: you are securely attached to your guide who keeps on checking and tightening the buckles. Then you swing your legs out of the door. Next you know you are dropping downwards. No time to panic - it just seems natural. The freefall makes your ears pop but it all happens so fast that it is hard to take it all in first time round. Once the parachute is deployed things go quiet and peaceful and the view is amazing from so high up almost the height of turboprops.<br/> The guide was clearly competent and in control so I had no worries at all - I could just enjoy the experience. <br/> Landing: You hold your legs up and the guide lands on his feet and you walk forward. Easy. Some jumpers slipped along the grass a bit but that was no worry - the whole thing is sureprisingly gentle<br/> Wear: they offer protective gear but most people didn't use it. They provide face visors for the first bit, then you can take these off once the parachute opens. Trainers are good I wore shorts and a t-shirt.<br/> You need to be flexible: the idea is to bend neck back at the start and flex body and knees.<br/> I am 54 years old and have dodgy knee and I managed it perfectly ok.<br/> Note: for obvious safety reasons you empty pockets and take off necklaces. You can't tkae your own camera as it would fly off somewhere! <br/> The cost doesn't include the Tax nor the photo/video stuff so this adds quite a bit so allow for this. You do need at least the pictures. Each guide has a GoPro atttached to his wrist. Excellent quality and well worth the cost about 80 pictures are taken, plus a very professionally edited video of 4-5 mins with soundtrack.<br/> Before you jump you are sent an email to register yourself with the Aus Parachute club, a legal requirement and for 30 more you can have personal insurance too.</p>

<p>I was picked up at the pick-up point which was nearest to my accommodation. From the beginning I felt very comfortable. My tandem-partner was Phil who was really nice. One hour after the sky dive I could already stop by and pick up my video and photos.</p>

<p>2nd time I've been mad enough to jump out of a perfectly good working plane, and to be fair I'll do it all over again as it was amazing and a thrill of a life time. Well organised and felt very safe with this company. The staff are friendly and will make your jump truly memorable, with pictures and a video of the experience small extra charge though but worth it.</p>

<p>The driver never came to pick my friend and I up and did nothing to help us get there, but the skydiving was absolutely amazing and my instructor was an awesome guy!</p>

<p>Unbelievable! I've wanted to skydive for years and never quite got around it to it. I'm so glad my first jump was in Cairns with it's stunning scenery, and amazing weather. The team were an awesome bunch, too. Would do this again in a heartbeat!</p>

<p>Definitely was a fantastic experience. There's nothing like jumping out of a plane and nothing can really ruin it. The tandem jumpers were very professional and knew what they were doing. They made us feel comfortable. The receptionist was pretty rude and ignored us when we had questions. We were the second group to jump so she was busy with other things, but didn't have to act like she was better than us. Treated other jumpers pretty rude too. Ah well.....had a thrill and got back alive!</p>

<p>No doubt that it's an experience of a life time and I would recommend to anyone! The divers are quite cheeky in that they joke around trying to scare you haha, I felt so safe though! I would also recommend buying the DVD and pictures so you remember the experience</p>

<p>Tour company was efficient and communicative when there was a delay due to rain. The partners that you jumped with were fun and supportive. If you are considering doing this but are hesitate, give it a try, it is awesome and not scary at all when with your leader.</p>

<p>Great experience. The views weren't of the Reef while diving, only in the plane on the way up. The guide was very experienced and made the jump worthwhile.</p>

<p>The actual sky dive was well executed, good instructors. However the name reef and rainforest is misleading. I thought id be near the reef, you can see it far away in the distance, and you see rainforests on your way down but you land in a sugar field. I'm pleased I did the jump, but wished Id booked one that actually does what it says.</p>
