A lovely first evening experience when we visited Cairns. Jack was really informative as we travelled up the river and checked out a creek in the mangroves as a stop for drinks. Beautiful sunset. Got to see Jeff Bezos's super yacht in the harbour as an unexpected bonus. Definitely recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed our sunset cruise with Jake. He shared lots of cool and interesting stories about Cairns harbour and the boats in it. Sunset was behind clouds but still very picturesque with lovely colours in the sky. Highlight was getting to see Koru up close… Jeff Bezos’ superyacht!

Fun, relaxing, and informative ride. Would highly recommend as a way to end the day. Bonus inclusion of snacks and drinks.

This was a great cruise, with a lovely captain, good commentary and beautiful views! A must do while in Cairns.

Wonderful experience. The guide was friendly, well informed and funny. Enjoyed the ride and we were lucky that the sun had finally come out during the day and the sunset was just amazing. Will recommend it as a relaxing end of day activity for tour trip.

We had a very pleasant evening on the boat, even though it wasn’t a great sunset. The boat captain was very nice and knowledgeable. It took us around to some beautiful and interesting size. We would do this again.

This was a great trip, despite the weather not playing ball. Our host, Stevo, was great. Good humour, very professional skipper who made sure our comfort and safety were absolutely top of his agenda. Complimentary drink to kick off the tour and then a very reasonably priced bar for the rest of the tour. We got to see so many bats coming in to roost at night which was great. If you’re looking for a good evening out with a friendly, great value company, this is a tour to take.

My husband I went on the Sunset Cruise on Sunday 28/06/26 It was a cloudy day so we worried about our “Sunset” We didn’t have to worry ! We saw and learnt lots from our skipper Steve . I have the most amazing photos of the area. We both throughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend going Sue and Mike Turner Melbourne

It’s a lovely boat ride Recommend doing it It was great to be in Cairns on a nice night. Sunset was lovely. One of the highlights I did with my husband and Cousin and it was fantastic.

Great experience on the boat around Chinamans creek. Good insights into the local way of life, the environment and water ways. Beer and food served just at the right time. Good view of the lights of Cairns and the local way of life on the water. Checkin and getting onboard was easy. Family friendly. Toilet on board

Simple, max small group, informative guide. Safe, saw 2 small crocodiles. Few laughs, pretty basic snax.

Waste of money. You neither see the sunset (which sets behind a hill) nor do you see any wildlife at all because they do not come out at this time!

Cancelled afew hours before because it hadn’t been filled. Super frustrating as it was my final night so wasn’t able to book something else. Not super reliable trip.

I booked this trip for myself and my 29 y.o. daughter. I expected a big ship and recorded narration (that was what we had on on Melbourne Yarra River cruise), but this was much nicer: a small boat with approx. 12 passengers and the captain, who was delightful. He had lots of information to share, but, being an actual human, was also able to interact with the passengers. Since I didn't catch his name, I'll mention that we departed the Cairns Harbor at 5:15 on Dec. 23, 2025, in hopes that he &/or the biz owners see my review. It's because of him that I'm giving a full 5 stars instead of 4. We had a lot of trouble *finding* the boat, but the captain gave us the extra few minutes we needed to get aboard. Staff at the ferry terminal gave us incorrect info, and the location wasn't marked on our voucher.

It was wonderful. Peacefull scenes and great cloudy weather with nice breeze😍 It is really worth it!😻

This was a relaxing way to enjoy an early evening. Captain Belinda was kind and entertaining with a wealth of knowledge. She made us feel very much at home! The views of Csirns City were beautiful. Highly recommend this.

The cruise was more than we expected. Steve was wonderful guide who imparted a great amount of interesting local information. The cruise was peaceful and the timing for sunset was perfect. The beer was cold and satisfying Even the toilet was fine.

Small cruise, only 9 people the time we went, was really lovely, everyone chatted with one another. The sun came out just before we left and didn’t disappoint, gave us a beautiful sunset

The cruise was slot of fun unfortunately there was no sunset but Captain Jack is passionate and full of information. Loved the drink on arrival and the small group vibe.

U may not see the sunset depending on the weather but you will enjoy the cruise. Joe is an amazing guide and would go again just for the commentary. Very enjoyable experience

It is a calm water trip. It is what you make it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lovely selection of passengers on board from all over the world.

Our captain Jack, showed us great views of the stunning Trinity Inlet at dusk, and the colorful lights of the Cairns city skyline.

Staffy the tour host/boat driver was awesome, lots of quirky stories about the area. Exciting being amongst the crocodile infested mangroves, and the sunset views of Cairns were beautiful.

A lovely boat ride up the river. The guide gave great information and the sunset was colourful. Generous glass of wine offered.

What a fantastic evening. Great drinks and nibbles. The perfect amount of narration. Lots of beautiful views while cruising around the mangroves and watching the sun set. Highly recommend this as the start to an evening in Cairns. Get back just in time for dinner reservations on the Boardwalk. A must do!

Good instructions, directions and easy to find. All ran to a smooth logical programme, a complimentary cold beer, wine or soda, good knowledge and description from pilot (Liam), combined with local ditties made for an enjoyable evening despite the cloudy weather spoiling the actual sunset.

Beautiful boating through the mangroves, followed by a good view of the city. Was great to hear some local knowledge, including suggestions for dinner and drinks.

Beautiful boat and tour. You guys were so sweet and welcoming. One small suggestion is to have a mic as the boat drowns out all the beautiful factoids you tell us.

The experience was relaxing. The drink and snack were a nice touch for that. But the ride itself was a little boring, except for the ships in which people were living were unexpected and interesting. The guide was pleasant, but not particularly knowledgeable. For example, I asked what the uniquely architected building with the white fluted roof was and he didn't know. He doesn't live in Cairnes so didn't know. I would think a tour guide for a site-seeing excursion in Cairnes would learn about the more interesting things we'd see on the excursion in Cairnes.

The cruise was fantastic and very relaxing! Our guide was really informative and provided good humour with the stories and history he was telling. Would recommend doing this activity.

Very nice journey up the river and out in front of cairns waterfront, host was very knowledgeable in the rivers history which made the trip that much better, tell your family and friends if you’re going to cairns this is a must.
