Picked up on time and drive was only 30 minutes ish Safety briefing given on bus and fully explained Got on the water and had a great relaxing time Tubing lasted just about the right time and the bus met us at the finish Kyle and Thompson were our guides and were spot on to be fair All in all a decent day out and one I would recommend to family and friends

Very relaxing and peaceful adventure for all ages,highly recommend it for everyone The two young guides were very nice and friendly and kept it going all the way to the bottom with us having fun and laughter all day

Absolutely great experience for the whole family! We all had a wonderful time tubing through the rapids but also lazily floating along. The kids got to jump off rope swings and do some obstacles at the end of the course. The tours guides were super informative and made the ride to and from the river a great time. Highly recommend to young and old!

It was an amazing adventure. The crew were fun and very attentive to my scared kid! Alexandro in particular was an absolute laugh throughout the day

Tubing down the river we thought would be a great idea, nice and relaxing. It was anything but. There wasn't enough water in the river to push us along. At times we had to get out and carry our tubes. We were pushed along as fast as they could which was impossible with little water. We were given 2 different pickup places and 2 different starting times. Obviously Viator and adventure company don't talk to each other. On the plus side our guides were awesome. Nothing was too much for them and they were really friendly.

Great family fun filled activity, couple of spills which made it that more fun. Kids were able to play on the rope swings along the way and keep entertained while waiting for group to catch up. Few slow areas which made it more work for those not wanting to sit around too long but entertaining non the less.

Was our 7 year old daughter’s favorite excursion out of our whole two week trip. Was such a fun activity for the whole family!

Must try! I had such a wonderful time river tubing with my friends. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a mix of peaceful moments, a little bit of chaos and adventure. Floating through the rainforest was beautiful and calming, while some parts were exciting enough to keep things interesting. Such a fun and memorable experience surrounded by nature :)

Enjoyable but a lot of people and had to either wait around or avoid others in the river. Not particularly fast flowing so not for the thrill seeker!

Nice relaxing tube down the river, lots of fun and the guides helped you whenever you needed it. Loved it!

Lot of fun, be prepared as there are no change rooms and getting ready for the experience and dressed after is tricky. If itnis a hot day it wouldn’t be an issue being wet after but later in the afternoon and im cooler weather it is not ideal. Lot of fun though and great activity for everyone. If you have younger children, make sure they are strong swimmers as although the guides are around, we found that they had a lot of people to look after and they aren’t there to babysit

Friendly guides, lovely location but 50+ tubes floating down a slow moving gentle river meant large numbers of tubes clustered together pushing each other out of the current and flow. Basically too many people to enjoy the experience properly.

Easy pick up process from Cairns. Our guides Zac, Jack and Kyle were very easy going and helpful to the whole group, nothing was too much trouble. They had great knowledge of the area and made the day relaxing a fun

We loved the river tubing so much, we've booked again! What a gorgeous experience! We were doing the tubing in September, with low water levels and this was a fun, but relaxing experience. The river was mostly shaded, a perfect place to stay out of the full sun. We enjoyed drifting gentle down stream, listening to birds and admiring the dragonflies. Rosie and the driver were lovely guides! Highly recommended tour🛟

It was wonderful experience, even if you can’t swim, just in there and just go with flow. The staff is very enthusiastic and encouraging. Thanks Lexie for let us do that flipppp haha. Must to do activity.

Pickup from various locations perfect. Easy filling out of weaver online very easy. Guide explains all safety procedures clear and precise. Now to the fun part, tubbing down the river a well fun experience. Enjoying the experience with all the other people, having a laugh. Water just perfect. What more is their left to say,,, just pure fun fun.

Wear your togs, take a change of clothes and have fun. You can leave your stuff on the bus which saves worrying about your purse and phone. Good idea to go to the toilet before you leave and have a drink with you. Loved the pick up and drop off. Easier than I thought it so much fun.

We had the river tubing tour with Shinaye, Max, and Sophie, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From start to finish, they were friendly, helpful, funny, and incredibly encouraging. They made everyone feel comfortable and ensured we had a great time throughout the day. Their positive energy and enthusiasm really added to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable adventure. It's also worth checking out the other tours they offer, as I'm sure they would be just as fantastic. A great trip and exactly what we expected. The trip from Cairns was short and everything was well organised when we arrived at the river. The guides were helpful and friendly especially JC and we all had a fun time on the river especially our 6 year old.

Loved this and totally recommend. Guides were amazing and very patient with us. So much fun and would do this again.

Such a relaxing morning out on the Little Mulgrave River! Pick-up from Reef Fleet Terminal was right on time, and the driver and guides were friendly, professional and efficient — checked us onto the bus smoothly, made sure waivers were sorted, and were upfront about the $20/person tubing levy. The rapids were gentle, and the scenery honestly stole the show — clear water, tranquil surrounds, hard to believe you’re so close to town. The guides were patient and communicated really clearly, which made a big difference for people in our group who weren’t super confident on the water. Never once felt unsafe. One tip if you’re on the shorter side (I’m 150cm) — reaching the water to paddle can be tricky, but you’ll figure out a system, and the guides will give you a push if you drift off course. Helmets and life jackets are provided. We wore crocs, which were perfect for the mud and river water — footwear hire is $5 if needed, so maybe skip the white sneakers! We left around 7:50am and were back by midday — felt like just the right amount of time on the river. Great value, and a lovely activity - our tour had a mix of families with children, couples and solo travellers. A few practical notes: the changing facilities at the end are pretty basic with no showers, and wear sunscreen plus a shirt — you’re out in the sun on the water for a good amount of time even though most of the route is shaded. Otherwise, just listen to the guides — they know exactly what they’re doing.

This was amazing! It was a last minute decision to book this river adventure and I am so glad I did. The whole thing was really well organized by our awesome guides. We were helped and supported by the super friendly CA Crew, and it was a lot of fun from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend! Five star

We had a fabulous day! Great pick up and drop off service. Fantastic, and fun guides and coach driver! Beautiful part of the world. Felt very confident with our safety instructions and would highly recommend this adventure when in Cairns.

The tubing was a great experience and was fun. I would do this again. The professionalism of the entire crew of CAIRNS ADVENTURE GROUP was great in particular Rosie the host and Tina the bus driver on the day. Was well worth doing this.

Great fun. Good attention to safety & very friendly guides. Suitable for all ages. Disappointed that one of the male guides picked up rubbish from the river only to throw it into the bush instead of taking it out.

Not as advertised! Oh my gosh, I read details to be a relaxing float down a river on a tube with a couple of small rapids. It felt so much more, and this could be because I am a fraidy cat, however, I did not expect multiple rapid areas and a few that were way bigger than I felt comfortable with. That being said, our tour group leader Lily from Canada and the others were fantastic. And as long as you are happy with rapids and not a relaxing drift down the river, then you will have a great time.

It was a fun and fast trip down a shallow river. Do not expect a lazy river. There was a lot of paddling with your hands to keep you moving in the right direction. Some of the younger kids with shorter arms struggled with paddling and would get separated from their group. I spent a lot of my time trying to stay near my kid. The water was very nice, and it was very pretty. There were several guides that would help you along the way.

It was lots of fun the guides are absolutely fantastic and so helpful. Such a beautiful location on the Mulgrave River float amongst the rainforest and crystal clear waters. It was awesome.

The pick was great then arrived at river very organised easy then once on river it was great experience love the whole trip and we are doing it again on Sunday with my other girlfriend .

River tubing was great. Our older teenagers would have preferred something more adventurous, but they did really enjoy it too. It’s very relaxing, and peaceful floating down the river, then a few rapids to navigate for a bit of fun. Went in July and was fine only wearing bike shorts and bikini top. Our daughter, who really feels the cold, would have been a bit cold without her wetsuit. The guides were great. Overall, a worthwhile and well organised activity.

The staff were prompt with the pick up times from the hotel. The rapids were really flowing - it was so amazing and the views as you drifted along through the rainforest were spectacular. The tour guides were all really friendly, helpful and informative. Can't recommend this tour enough.

We did the river tubing in the afternoon, it was raining in some parts, but this didn't retract from the fun. The tour guides made me and the kids feel safe. My daughter 10yrs was apprehensive, but we all had a great time! Sam, Liv, Arnold and Thompson were a great crew, thank you. Zoe, Penny and Eli.

Great event for young children 3/4 yrs and above if they can swim ok. Light enough rapids not to be an issue and quite fun for the whole family.

The experience is fantastic! Would definitely recommend. We got picked up at a set time at the entrance of our hotel. Great , air conditioned bus. Would recommend water shoes although can rent a pair for $5 . There is also additional $20 fee per person which I was told it was for like park entrance. They do send the link to psy up front or can be done on the bus. Experience has a lower level of fitness and can be done by pretty much everyone. Tube is big and stable, mostly easy floating , several low degree rapids , nothing major but so much fun. The whole river experience is about 1.5 -2 hrs, 30-40 min drive from Cairns to get there. Crew was amazing, I felt very safe at all times. Zach explained everything very clearly and easy to follow. If anyone needed help they were right on it. Would defiantly recommend.
