Overall, friendly and competent staff. Meeting point could have been more detailed but everything else was great!

I had the best time on the dinner cruise. The staff was delightful and the food plentiful and delicious. Special mention to the saxophone player he was the bomb! A glass of welcome bubbles was included naturally I bought a few more at comparable prices with other bars around Cairns. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely experience thanks to our family on the occasion of our 50th anniversary We were very impressed by the skippers manoeuvring skills.

The food was incredible, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only downside was the tables being a little too close together due to the amount of people on board. Overall it was amazing!

The staff were lovely and attentive. There was more than enough food for everyone even for second serving and the food was enjoyable.

The catamaran is as lovely and there was a huge choice of food buffet style. All food was marked for food allergies. A nice glass of bubbles on arrival and additional drinks were well priced. A small crowd of boy 22 people on the catamaran. The weather was overcast and raining. No sunset because of the weather and going up top was very wet and windy. Maybe later in the year when the days are longer would be better. Seemed like a lot of money for the experience.

Had an absolutely amazing night with my partner. Beautiful sunset on a boat, great food (everything was delicious & my partner being gluten-free had a lot to choose from), great entertainment (live music from Phoebe Jacobs), great atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff, and an awesome environment (got to go all around the boat & get great views). Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

My wife and I are from US in Oklahoma and this was our first time been in Australia in Cairns for our 10th year anniversary trip. The dinner cruise was amazing, great food, music and good city view during the night.

Wonderful experience, with friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere and food. We enjoyed the company of others aboard and the live entertainment .The seafood buffet and dessert was delicious.

What a great night had by us! Staff were very friendly and professional from the beginning to the end. It was smooth sailing thanks to the Captain and the views were amazing from the water side looking back at Cairns. The food was super delish with a large array catering for all plus we enioyed the cocktails! Thank you Spirit of Cairns :)

This was an amazing experience. The foods was outstanding and we met some wonderful people who we have a great evening with. The views were great and the entertainment. We would recommend this to anyone and we will certainly do again.

Food was exceptional, and plentiful. It was a wet night when we went, but the Cairns night lights were still lovely. Troy Stevens, a saxophonist, was the entertainer on board. He was fabulous, absolutely next level. This cruise is definitely worth doing.

The booking was a sunset cruise. We left in the dark so you really only see the harbour lights which kind of ruins the experience before you start. The food was brilliant—especially the seafood but when it came to dessert, we checked to see if we would be told to go up table by table. A server said yes and 'dont worry you won't miss out' but we were the only side to actually be informed by a staff member we could go and when we finally got there, there was scraps of a fruit platter and a few pieces of cheese left. The other 2 tables got nothing. My husband then asked about dessert and they said there was no more (2 staff members) and a third said they would check. Chef's made more which made the kids next to us happy but it was a real hassle. Staff would do better to place signage saying "1 item per person" because people were stacking so many on their plates. We feel like we paid a decent chunk of money just to eat dinner which we could have done at Dundees on the waterfront for less money.

Fantastic vessel and food was excellent. On board entertainment was a fantastic saxophone player who was very entertaining.

It is important that people know that weather conditions affect what can be done on deck. Otherwise it was very entertaining.

All I can say what a great night wine on arrival plenty of space to move around staff was wonderful and food was amazing then dessert love love ate too much but a wonderful evening and would recommend

Very relaxed atmosphere. Good variety of food. Our table favourite was the beef in red wine 😋 Loved the cocktails too! Lovely way to spend the evening.

I went on the Spirit of Cairns dinner cruise on Monday 22 June. Departure was 6.15 and we returned at 8.45 – 2 1/2 hours. Because it was mid-winter, it was completely dark and apart from the city lights, we couldn’t see a thing. We were pleasantly entertained on board by a man with a guitar. We were advised that the buffet would be table by table, but that there was plenty of food for everyone. Our table was the very last to be called up and there was quite a few items that were empty – so that meant that staff were not monitoring what was available. Two of the three salads – empty, two of the three hot dishes – empty – no beef, no barramundi – just the chicken, which was warm, and not hot. We waited for the beef to be brought out, but gave up on the barramundi. A few oysters and prawns were tucked away at the end of the line. When it came for the dessert, that was different, as it was anyone, anytime. The fruit board was excellent, but the cheese “board” was only one type. The “apple crumble” cheesecake was just a thick sauce, not baked or even gelatine based, with some very sweet stewed apple in the middle. The crew were pleasant and it was quite a nice evening, but was it worth the cost of $145.00 a head? Certainly not, there was nothing special with the food, maybe at half the price at $72.50, and that would really be the upper limit. Maybe in summer when you could see where we sailed, but in winter, when it’s dark, you might as well be still docked!

It was a great night cruising around Cairns harbour. The staff were fantastic and the food was great. The only negative I have is that the desserts provided were lacking in variety and quantity. The main course was fantatic with both quantity and variety but the desserts not so. Improve that and I would give 5 stars

It was disappointing that the only two children on the cruise were unsupervised by their parents, and were allowed to rummage through the buffet before dinner time. They were also seen selecting desserts and then putting them back on the buffet table. Parents supervised your children and teach them right from wrong, there were other paying customers on that cruise.

A perfect romantic evening on the water with my hubby. The Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise delivered amazing food, including fresh prawns, oysters, and delicious crocodile spring rolls. The drink selection was excellent, the service was fantastic, and the sunset views over Cairns made the night extra special. Highly recommend for a memorable date night or special occasion.

The food was absolutely incredible, including delicious gluten-free desserts, which was a wonderful surprise. The oysters were fresh, tasty, and definitely a highlight of the evening. I also tried the Spicy Margarita, which was really good and served in a very generous size compared to what you usually get elsewhere. We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday, and the crew made a lovely surprise for him, which made the experience even more special. The atmosphere, views, and service made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Cairns!

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at this dinner cruise. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible — every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with so much care and quality. The crew was amazing as well, extremely attentive, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the entire evening. The space itself was beautiful, comfortable, and created the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the view. And the saxophone player… absolutely outstanding. The live music made the whole experience feel even more special and elegant. He created the perfect vibe for the night. Honestly, I would recommend this experience to absolutely everyone. Whether it’s for a special occasion or just to enjoy a memorable night out, it’s truly worth it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

Certainly no Seafood Buffett as advertised and pictures, not worth the money as the seafood was very limited to prawns without flavour and oysters - neither were plentiful in number and not replenished once small bowl of prawns and plate of oysters supposedly to cater for 30 people. As a family 4 we did not even get an oyster and when staff were asked if there was more they said no more food available!!!! the only other seafood was small in fact tiny pieces of barramundi and heavily coated calamari without flavour. The staff while pleasant enough made communal cocktails at the bar and spent the night sucking up cocktail into the straws to then slurp - not a good look for us as customers seeing all. And then to have to pay an extra fee for fuel - which I don't mind if the rest of the dinner reflected the cost - however we were bullied into paying the amount by the blue haired girl who told me it was my fault for not paying previously - no where was a fuel charge quoted or indicated. And the lack of tea and coffee availability throughout cruise was noted by multiple customers who were wanting to have a drink. Would I recommend the cruise NO NO NO - and I have done many dinner cruises around the world so can speak from experience.

Bring a jacket incase the weather is a bit cooler, go on the upper deck to view the beautiful sunset and harbour

We were greeted by the friendly crew before boarding then checked in, a choice of complimentary drinks and a meet the other passengers. A very spacious dining room with plenty of room to move around. Dinner was a buffet style with everything that you could think of or want. Desserts were a must as they were delicious too. “Kinchy” was the entertainment for the evening and he did an awesome job. The crew deserve a special mention as they kept everyone well catered for. We would definitely return for another dinner cruise when we next visit Cairns!

Good food. Polite and attentive crew. Drinks expensive but good. The part we liked the least was the live entertainment. I’m sure he is a talented guitarist but he played twin songs we were familiar with. And they were all in the same style. I would expect him to hear the music to his audience and do songs that people can dance and sing to. Overall we would recommend it.

Food was ok. The “cruise” went back and forth along the harbor, over and over and over. The cruise started right before sunset, so for the last hour and a half, you couldn’t see anything. Staff was so busy clearing the tables as soon as we finished eating, I felt they were trying to get rid of us, but we couldn’t leave, as the boat was still going back and forth, back and forth. Don’t waste your money.

Fantastic cruise experience with the crew of Spirit of Cairns on 17/03/26. Food and drinks were very good and boat amenities were excellent. Musical entertainment was provided by The Sax Man Troy Stevens who was exceptional as always and rounded off a great night. Thanks everyone.

It was an enjoyable night , the only thing was , I was getting less wine in my glass every glass I had

The dinner cruise was very well organised. We were warmly welcomed abroad with drinks before being escorted to our table. The entire crew were very professional , friendly & conducted themselves as if you were at a 5 star hotel. Each table was beautifully set with a touch of candlelight. The buffet contained a great selection of dishes to suit everyones needs. All the food & desserts were very well prepared, fresh & delicious. We even had an opportunity to buy ponchos at the end d of the cruise due to the heavy rain.

Food and staff were lovely. No atmosphere, and music was ordinary. We just kept doing laps beside the wharf, and the lights were very bright, so couldn’t really see the forest and scenery.

Unfortunately it rained hard so we only could be inside and we only circled the harbor. The staff was fantastic and the food and beverages were great too. A fun night out - minus missing the views and time outside at night.

Sadly it rained on the night but it did not stop us from having a great time. Nice food, good cruise and terrific entertainment. All the staff were very friendly.

We had the best night. Food was great the staff were nothing short of amazing. There was so much food to choose from.

If it’s wet season take an umbrella for the walk back along the jetty. All said the Captain was funny as and set a great mood for us all, music was really great.Good choices from the Buffet. Staff were spot on with their service. Limited time on deck from the rain ,but not really a problem.

Go to end of A pier then turn left. Not very well sign posted. Boat was great and the food excellent. Staff were great.
