Even if you have never rafted before this is quite a tame experience with a little thrill added. Took my 12 year old and he loved it

Even though my husband and I are ‘seniors’ and the oldest in all of the groups rafting that day, we were well looked after and had a lot of fun.

It was exhilarating. Our guide Jack was brilliant and our bus driver Jackie was exceptional. The only criticism I have is that we paid for the rafting but when we arrived we were then slugged with a $70 river levy. The trip was still worth every cent but I think the full coat should be told up front.

There aren’t enough rapids! And it’s way too short, or would be if you didn’t have to keep stopping & waiting for every other raft to get through each rapid (safety measure). Our guide was fantastic though & the rapids were fun.

Our day River Rafting was very very fun. We had 4 out of 5 raft boats have trainees, all of which did amazing with clear instructions, encouragement, skill, and gave it their all. We had some very fun rapids, and finished off with a nice paddle across Lake placid to get back to the bus. Only downside was we did hit a lot of rocks and could've had a few better lines of rapids to experience. However we do understand and appreciate the learning of the trainees!

Really enjoyed, the guide Sam is so much professional and hilarious , we feel very safer during the rafting even in turblance water, and enjoyed to much funs with the water, highly appreciated.

The white water rafting was enjoyable and a fun way to spend an afternoon. However I was disappointed that I was shown certain photos at the end of the day and agreed to purchase the photo package based on those photos. Sadly when the digital photos were made available, the specific photos I was shown (which included me being tossed out of the raft as we went down a rapid) were not included. I reached out to the company to ask them for copies of the photos and have had no response, which was disappointing. So be aware that the photos you are shown, may well not be supplied to you despite you paying extra $$$.

This rafting was a slow ride and the ripples felt like individual experiences instead of one continuous experience. There was a wait time of 10-15 minutes between each ripple. This was a very commercial experience not worth half a day. The tides if done continuously it could have been completed in half an hour. Our instructor Lexi was good but overall the experience was not worth it.

Rafting at Barron river rated at Grade III √ get away from the concrete jungle of the metropolitan and dive into the most aged jungle of this planet (180 million years), that's truly astonishing!

It was my first time for rafting and I found that quite fun, could be a bit longer distance tho. I would do it again with different places.

From start to the end, everything was friendly and directed to us in a happy and caring way. Loved it. Dorothy was our guide and what a lovelly professial lady she was. All the tour guilds were all great.

Our guide, Jade was excellent & the rapids itself were great fun. The only negative is an extra cost of $106 when you arrive. Why is this not flagged when you make the original bookng?

Had an amazing afternoon on the Barron River. Our guide Danny was awesome and really knew his stuff. It was most of our groups first time white water rafting and we had so much fun. We will definitely be doing it again next time we visit Cairns. 10/10 recommend.

Very bad organizer. They canceled the Tully river rafting just a couple hours prior to the tour began with a classic reason : due to operational issue. The weather at that morning in Cairns was totally clear and good. Though they offered compensation of getting fully refund or taking Barron river rafting and getting the small price discrepancy refund, but it had cost me a lot to fly from other city and transportation as well. I finally took Barron's as I wanted to get 1st rafting experience, although I knew it would be lesser challenging. It turned out that the fact was in line with my preassumption. I had a chat with the boat leader while rafting, normally the main reason of cancelation is due to not reach the minimum participants. They could have told me the night before the D-day and flying to that city. It's totally unprofessional !

great day out where safety is a priority. Can't speak highly enough of the guides and the experience. Hints : no toilets at the river entry point, so use the facilities at the meeting place, a short drive away. wear shorts for comfort.

First time doing whitewater rafting and it was very tame.but if you are a nurves person etc then this will be ideal for you. I was just expecting it to be more exciting plus didn't last long as spent more time paddling to the end on a long stretch of flat water

It was cancelled …probably due to the water flooding. Will probably get our money back. Wish it had been earlier so we could have planned something different

This was so much fun! It was my first experience of white water rafting and I highly recommend booking with Foaming Fury. The team were well organised and safety was a top priority. It's a unique experience to enjoy the beautiful Barron Gorge from the alternating serene river and rushing rapids.

Tina is awesome! She’s the tiniest badass and we had so much fun with her! She has such a great positive vibe and made everything easy to understand and was an excellent guide. This was our first time whitewater rafting and we’re excited to try it again! Definitely great for beginners.

What an amazing adventure to go on with these guys! It was fun thrill rapids, the guides were a lot of dun and they had excellent skill in getting down safely. My 23yr old son said that his most favorite part of of the whole vacay!! Our guide Dorothy was so experienced and so much fun! Highly recommended.

The whole experience was terrific and we picked a good day where the water wasn't too high so we had a good 90 mins on the water. Our guide Danny was super experienced and made us all feel capable as well as safe along with having fun! The admission fee was pretty good with the locals discount. The pre-safety talk with Jade was reassuring as well being reinforced by Danny at the start when being in the raft. All round super fun and would do it again.

Awesome! Lily is a rockstar! We had so much fun! Getting started was kinda chaotic but once everyone was in the boats it was amazing and fun!

I just did the Barron Gorge White Water Rafting tour and it was a blast!! I had never done this before and always wanted to...Definitely recommend! It's just the right amount of scary and fun! The crew was super informative and skilled at handling the river!! *Special shout out to Lily, our crew captain, and Rowan, another captain who gave us all instructions on the bus before arriving to the river. Thanks guys for keeping us safe!

The guide/coach is very nice and hork very hard ro help us during the whole trip It is fun even under raining.

Our guide Felix was awesome! I wish the instructions were a little more clear before arriving on what to wear (like a shirt and shorts) and that we had to leave everything in the car, there are no lockers or bathrooms. Also the rapids are a little underwhelming if this is not your first time. But the.overall company and experience was good.

As a novice to white water rafting this was a great experience. Rapids were not to severe, but challenging enough to get the adrenaline flowing. Marco was great clearly knew the river inside out and ensured everyone was safe. Highly recomneded

This is my second time going and my first time for my partner. We both had a great time. The guides are all very friendly and funny. Make it very enjoyable for all of us. Will definitely do when we come back again.

The activity is awesome and really good. All the guides were amazing . Shoes should be provided at no cost since paying quite a bit for the rafting.Make sure you have your gear ready for the activity as there are no changing facilities at the venue-also carry your food and drink as no facilities -Did one in Bali and it was much cheaper with food and drink available.
