Reef Gateway Apartments

3 due to noise from mixed use apartments, long stay renters noise & parties at night not ideal late at night. Thumping footsteps above 11pm even later from children. Constant swearing and music less than ideal.

My husband and I really enjoyed our ten day stay at Reef Gateway Apartments. Our apartment was clean, our beds were comfortable, we had a balcony overlooking the pool area and garden, and we could catch a public bus virtually across the road which took us wherever we wanted to go for 50 cents each. The owners/managers were helpful and friendly, and we appreciated having items such as a box of tissues and a bottle of cooking oil supplied to us, plus all the usual kitchen items, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, etc. We would highly recommend Reef Gateway Apartments to anyone who is on a limited budget but still wants all the comforts of home.

This is cairns best kept secret! I couldn’t believe I didn’t know it was here before. I have visited cairns many times and my biggest pain was picking a hotel that was safe. Friendly and all round just clean, but I won’t ever have this issue again coming back to cairns and I will be coming back lot more now I’ve found this secret gem! The pool area was just so beautiful and the staff not only at reception but the cleaners as well. Royce and Jenny have made a beautiful little sanctuary within cairns city, my car was safe in he carpark the whole 7 days I was here and not once did i come across a issue that wasn’t resolved within mins of me telling or calling best stay I’ve had in cairns yet outta the 4 previous times I’ve visited for family events. All my other family members that were visiting for the event were amazed at my apartment and will all be booking here next time as well

I stayed here for 2 weeks and I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else in cairns!! The price was amazing for the location and how big and beautiful the apartment was ! The couple at reception were amazing and kind I had to extend and they were nothing but accommodating & affordable the cleaning staff were beautiful and kind and we’re happy with any request I needed, the bbq and pool area was amazing for my family to have meals at and with a complete covered area with a bbq this was amazing and we were able to have more time outside in the pool area which the kids loved. safety is a big factor for me and every entry and exit has gate codes and keys for extra safety I won’t be going anywhere else the next time I visit cairns.
