On The Beach Holiday Apartments

Location is spot on. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. Maintenance is sub par with live stove cables dangling above the bin right where you grab the lid of the bins. Taps in the showers loose. One fell off during our stay. We are in our 60s and asked for a ground floor unit- no lift only 32 stairs up and down. Limited English speaking receptionist couldn’t understand our request to swap us out even though empty units on the ground floor. Person in unit next door chain smokes so can have the doors or windows open to enjoy the sea breeze. Apparently nothing can be done about that either. Lounge in the unit is stained and smells of smoke . Mattress on the bed is about 10 years past use by date. No fans in the unit except a useless box fan in the bedroom. Box Aircon in the bedroom is so loud you cannot sleep.no blackout curtains so no chance of a sleep in if you need it. Place needs a refit and some smoking policies put in place. Probably explains why the smoke detector was missing from the room and later found in the cupboard. Don’t believe the reviews or the pictures. Our unit was nothing like the website. In general a poorly maintained dirty room with a delightful aroma of stale cigarettes.. Apart from that love Trinity Beach but this place made our stay a misery. We are in unit 16. Checking out tomorrow thank god.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Gerald from On The Beach Holiday apartments in Trinity Beach. They are absolutely fantastic to deal with! very helpful and overall a great friendly team. Very highly recommend!!

The apartment is situated in a great place with a nice view and access to the beach. The facilities in the apartment were great and self sufficient with utensils etc.... but that stops the good things about this place.. The biggest challenge is the access to the apartment- ours were on the third floor and with no lifts, this place is not great for those with mobility issues. Even without luggage walking up the stairs is tiring - confusing door numbers ours showing 56 on the main door and on the grill security door the number 6. Next, appalling is the customer service. Didnt feel welcome at all, i tried the phone number at different times during the week and couldn't get through and finally had to email my frustration to finally hear back. We were frustrated because we were landing after 7pm and i knew the reception wouldn't be around. It was great to pick keys from the locker but I feel its a bit more courteous to atleast get a call the next day to check on how we were going etc. Being in a holiday destination i feel the customer service lacked heavily. There was absolutely no service even when I went to drop off the keys- no courtesy checks on how our holiday went etc... it doesn't take much to atleast smile and say goodbyes- Hope this changes

Great value with ocean views from every room. My beloved amd I have been here several times now. Rooms vary in terms of renovation recency, but are always clean. On the beach has two locations; the absolute beach from apartments on Vasey are mostly one bedroom, amd are mere steps to the beach. The second building is directly behind the beach front building, but with its elevation offers even better ocean views from every it’s mostly two bedtimes apartments. Each Building is three storeys, with no lifts, so be aware if you struggle with stairs. There is plenty of private off-street parking as part of your booking. Apartments have basic but functional kitchens. A feature we always enjoy is how the shower has a window that allows you to see through the apartment to the ocean views beyond. There is resort wifi, but it’s not great. Be aware mobile coverage is poor on the beach front, our Optus-based coverage wasn’t quite good enough for streaming, but was ok for work.
