Il Centro Apartment Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at Il Centro Apartments in Cairns and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, convenient accommodation in the heart of the city. The location is one of the biggest advantages. Everything you could need is within easy reach, including restaurants, cafes, shops, the Cairns Esplanade and the waterfront. The Cairns Convention Centre is also just a short walk away, which makes Il Centro particularly convenient if you’re in Cairns for a conference, event or business trip. Being so centrally located meant I could leave the car parked and walk to most places, which was a real bonus. The apartment itself was comfortable, spacious and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. It was great having the extra space and facilities of an apartment rather than being confined to a standard hotel room. The swimming pool was another highlight. After a day exploring Cairns or attending meetings, it was fantastic to be able to come back, relax and cool off in the pool. Overall, Il Centro Apartments offers a great combination of location, comfort and convenience. If you want to be close to the action while still having a relaxing place to unwind, this is definitely somewhere I would consider staying again on my next visit to Cairns.

* Great location, easy to find, secure under cover parking. * Kitchen is outdated & could use a freshen up. (Understand these are more than likely privately owned & that it is tough to get owners to agree.) Our room needs the mixer tap replaced in the kitchen as it leaked badly. * Kitchen needs more commonly used items. Potato masher, sharp knife, ice trays, etc. * Cleanliness 8 out of 10. Carpet in living area let the score down. * Comfortable king sized bed. TV in bedroom as well as living room. * Comfortable living space. Great to have office space too. * Great to have washing machine & dryer. * Friendly staff. * Good pool area. * Quiet location even though in the city. * Close walk to Esplanade, eatery's, shopping centre's & bottle shop 😂

IL Centro Apartment Hotel 3 stars Room was very nice. Much nicer than I was expecting given the state of the outside of the building. Location was great if you are wanting to stay downtown, not too far from most things. I would like to hightlight that the wner/manager was initially quite rude and invasive. Not sure if he should be running a place like that given his disposition and lack of professionalism. Thankfully I did not see much of this person over my stay. Rooms: 4 Service: 1 Location: 4

Stayed at Ill Centro Apartments, Cairns from Tue to Fri. Got there at around 1ish in the afternoon, were greeted by the friendly office person and directed to my room without having to wait for the obligatory check-in time. The room was exceptionally clean, not modern but very well looked after. The bed was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to move around the apartment for two adults and you could even fit a couple of kids comfortably. Really happy with the experience and the value for money. Would definitely return if I needed accommodation in Cairns again.
