Expedia will tell you the property is in port douglas. It is no where close. Even within a 24 hrs booking window the property will take your money when the booking services screwed up. Thanks for nothing.

Stacey is an exceptionally friendly patient person who goes out of her way to make certain things work out. I said we’d arrive at 3pm and after catching up with family in Cairns, we arrived at 9pm. When I rang to check we had followed her instructions, Stacey was a ray of sunshine. A wonderfully nice person, or heavily medicated, and I’m voting for the wonderfully nice. The room was a small one, and the staff were very helpfully suggesting a larger room with cooking and laundry facilities, however we were part of a large group who were leasing a group of houses about 100m away with all those facilities, including a pool. The pool at Elysium is great too! It is pretty much in the sun from afternoon to night, and would benefit from some shade cloth, if possible. This was a great place to lay our heads for peace and quiet. The room was clean, bed comfortable, toilet and shower clean. The shower had a shower head at both ends - his and her. Great! Getting ready to go out is a breeze. The sun up here will cook your butt, so please remember sunglasses, sunscreen and a broad brimmed hat.

booked through Eysium not realising the private penthouse was in another resort. Paid alot of money to get no service at all. Room was out dated, no lift to get up to the 3rd floor with all our luggage. Location was great but we felt we were over charged. also no cleaning in the whole 7 days. Would not recommend very disappointed

Please note each apartment is privately owned and therefore this review mostly relates to U103. Its the little things that count, or in this case the little things missing. The kitchen facilities are average, one damaged Teflon pan for a two bedroom apartment, so we cant cook breakfast. One tiny package of dish soap. A couple of bags of tea for 4 days for 4 people, fans only run at full speed, Check in after 2 although office closes at 2, I can't figure that one out. The pool area and pool is small and almost always in shade. On the plus its in a good location and a beautiful town.
